Chapter 31
No P.O.V
Rogue, Kitty, Bobby and Pyro all jumped to their feet when they heard someone cry for help. They looked at each other, and ran out of the hotel lobby, to the park across the road. They saw a non-descript black van, drive away, on the other side of the park, and away from the town.
Rogue bent down and picked up a phone, which was lying on the grass. It started to ring.
"Who does it say it is?" Bobby asked.
"Vic." Rogue answered.
"Answer it, and say they've dropped it." Kitty said.
Rogue answered it. "Hello?" She asked.
"Where's Arianwen?" A voice growled out.
"I don't know, the phone was on the floor. This was Ari's mobile?"
"Yes, do you have any idea who took her, did you see anything?"
"We saw a black van drive away, but that was it…"
"You're one of Xaviers students, aren't you?"
"Yeah…"
"Rogue, the Professor, Storm and Logan are heading this way." Pyro said.
"Do you want to talk to him?" Rogue asked.
"Put him on."
Rogue handed the Professor the phone the moment he reached them.
"I thought your X-Men were supposed to be protecting her." Victor growled.
"I am afraid, we did not anticipate this, but we are doing all we can to find all three of them, possibly all five, these humans are moving faster than expected."
"I have a way of tracking her, a word of advice, don't try and stop me doing what I do best while I'm getting her back and killing a few on the way, otherwise your team will be down a few members."
"There's no need to make threats. I'm sure we can work together to find Ari, and the others, without killing anyone."
"Speak for yourself Xavier. That's my mate they've taken, and intend to turn into a lab rat. I won't let that slide. They are going to pay. I'll make sure of that." He hung up.
Xavier sighed. "It seems we have a very angry and violent Feral on our hands. Sabertooth isn't going to hold back, and has left us a clear warning. Anyone who try's to stop him killing those who've taken Ari, he'll kill them also."
"Then we just do our best to work round him." Logan said.
"Logan!" Storm scolded.
"Ari's his mate! He embraces his beast at the best of times, I'll be surprised if there aren't a couple of humans dead already! We get in his way, there's no telling what he'll do. Best to just leave him to it I say."
"And allow him to kill people?" Storm asked.
Logan shrugged. "They won't do it again."
"Logan!" She screeched.
Cari P.O.V
I looked up as my room door burst open. Men piled into my room, guns drawn. I heard several guns fire, and then, there was nothing.
Paddy P.O.V
I thought my shed would have been hidden enough to stop them finding me, but then I remembered what Faith had said about where I'd been caught. I turned round to see the computers I'd set up in here. The door, was then knocked down.
Ari P.O.V
I woke up, to a throbbing arm. I opened my eyes to see a white room. I blinked, and then looked down. I was strapped to a table, and a woman in a white coat was drawing blood from the crook of my arm.
As she drew the needle away, I saw my arm quickly bruise, and then heel over.
"What do you want with me?" I asked.
She looked at me, an eyebrow raised, gave the needle to an assistant, and turned back to me.
"We have several tests you could help us with." she said in a professional, cold and uncaring tone.
