Summary: Come to find out, Hallie Potter wasn't who she thought she was. Read as she travels back, and fix the mistakes of the past.
A/N: I'm working on all the updates to the stories I'm currently working on but it's taking longer than I'd like due to real life being a major pain. But I'm really hoping you'll like this story. After the journal entry, Hallie will be going by Mira, her real name.
Chapter 1: The Truth and Traveling Back
Lady Hallie Jessica Potter Black just won the battle, finally defeating a Dark Lord, a wizard by the name of Voldemort. But his real name was Tom Marvolo Riddle, he was the last heir of the Slytherin bloodline.
Hallie was happy the war was finally over but she felt so lost. She's never felt like she fit in anywhere. She's always felt out of place. It was strange but the only place that even remotely felt like home was Grimmauld Place. It was the home of one of the oldest wizarding families in Magical Britain.
She was about to leave the Room of Requirement when she came across a journal. It belonged to Dumbledore.
She was stunned when she came across an entry about her.
November 1, 1981
I just cast a forbidden spell due to Potter Heiress being killed by Tom. I know it was wrong but I summoned a baby from the past to replace the Potter Heiress. I was desperate. I couldn't believe that the baby that was destined to be the wizarding world's savior, had died. I had to do something to keep from everyone finding out.
The baby I summoned is Mira Phoenix Black. She is Sirius Black's twin sister. I'm so sorry I had to cast that spell, and I'm sorry I ruined the Black family's life by stealing their daughter. I just didn't know what to do.
I hope Mira will forgive me if she ever finds out in the future.
Mira was furious that Dumbledore did that. There was no excuse good enough to justify what he did.
An hour later, Mira was at Gringotts hoping they'll be able to help her get back her life and her family. Hopefully, she can save her family and change the wizarding world with some of the dark lord's ideas. Mira hated him but she couldn't deny that he had great ideas before he had gone insane.
Bringing the Wizarding Traditions back, adding more classes at Hogwarts, building orphanages for magical children. Introducing muggleborns and muggle-raised children early. Making the parents make a vow to keep the magical world safe from the muggle world. And making all magic equal.
Mira was of the belief that magic was magic. She didn't care about anything but magic. She also wanted to make the magical world fairer towards magical creatures. Mira wanted the magical world to be greater than it ever was. She didn't like squibs due to them hating everything magical because of jealousy.
Arabella Figg had the chance to save Mira from a lot of abuse but because she was jealous of magical people and creatures. She was hateful.
"I need to pay for the damages to your bank, then I'd like to talk to the head goblin. It's very important," Mira firmly said when she got to the teller.
She was happy that she didn't forget any of her valuables. She had her broom, books, and the invisibility cloak. She didn't need pictures of the Potter family because she was going to do everything she could to save them and save some families from dying out.
Mira didn't think she'd need her wand due to not needing it. Hopefully, she travels back just before she turns eleven.
"The damages have already been paid for by the Ministry. I'll take you to Ragnok, he's the King of the goblin nation," the teller said gruffly.
When they got to Ragnok's office, she was escorted right in. She was nervous about meeting the King of the goblin nation. She wanted to get back to her own time but she was so nervous about asking.
"What can I do for you Lady Potter?" he asked glaring. He hated thieves but since the damages were paid for, he wasn't going to boot her out of the bank.
"That's the thing, I'm not Lady Potter. I just found out that due to a spell I was taken from my family," she said as she handed him the journal.
"I never liked Dumbledore," he muttered. He couldn't believe someone could do this. It was believed that Walburga Black went crazy with grief. She was relatively sane before her daughter went missing. They never did understand how someone got past their family wards to kidnap their little girl.
"Is there a way to get me back to my own time?" she asked. She was really hoping they could get her back to her family.
"Yes, but I can't send you back further than your eleventh birthday," he stated.
"I understand. Will I still be me? Will, I still have the same beliefs?" she asked.
"Yes. You'll remember everything but it's more like merging with your past self. You'll have some of the same characteristics as you do now but you'll mostly have your past self's characteristics," he explained.
"That's perfect," she said smiling.
It seemed like hours before they had the ritual room ready, then it just seemed like she was floating through time.
Hours later, Mira woke up in a very small room. It was even smaller than her bedroom at the Dursley's. She didn't think that was possible. It seemed like her life didn't change. It took a second before a rush of memories from her past self surfaced.
Her life was exactly the same in this timeline. The only difference was, magic hating muggles didn't abuse her, it was a magic hating squib.
"I'm getting out of here," she muttered before wandless transfigurating her raggedy nightgown into a black knee-length skirt, a midnight blue long-sleeved shirt, and black flats. She quickly braided her hair, then she grabbed her stuff before calling the Knight Bus.
Chapter 2: Gringotts and Meeting the Family
When Mira got to the Leaky Cauldron, she quickly made her way to Gringotts hoping no one saw her. The last thing she wanted was her family hearing about her return before she got to tell them herself. She didn't want the busybodies sticking their noses where they don't belong.
"I need to speak with the goblin in charge of the Black vaults. It's important," Mira said quietly. She didn't want anyone overhearing her.
"Right this way," the teller instructed gruffly.
When they got to the account manager's office, they were let right in.
"What can I do for you?" Gornuk asked.
"My name is Mira Black and I want to be reunited with my family. I'll take a lineage test to prove my identity," she explained.
"Yes, you do. I don't want the black family getting their hopes up," he said gruffly as he handed her a dagger and parchment.
"Can you contact my family? I'd like to tell them where I've been for eleven years. Besides, I would like to know my own family," she said frowning. She was stunned at her gifts, and that she was soulbonded and betrothed to Rabastan LeStrange. But from what she remembered, he grows up to be a very handsome and powerful man. Mira wasn't sure if she really wanted to tell her parents what had happened to her over the years. But Mira knew she needed to. She definitely wasn't going to tell them about the future she was in due to not wanting them to kill Dumbledore.
If anything, Dumbledore's reputation was everything to him. So instead of killing him, she was going to expose all his dirty little secrets. But only after she got rid of Voldemort.
A half an hour later, her family showed up.
"Mira," her mother said stunned before she rushed towards her and hugged her fiercely.
"I'm home mom," she whispered breathing in her scent.
"Where have you been?" her father asked.
"A magic hating squib kidnapped me. I have no idea how but I plan to find out. She raised me in the muggle world," Mira decided to give them the CliffsNotes version for now.
"She didn't hurt you, did she?" her mother asked.
"I was abused in every way aside from sexually," she said looking everywhere but her parents.
"I'll kill her," her father said glaring. He couldn't believe his little girl was treated so badly.
"My lineage test is on the desk," Mira said motioning towards the parchment.
"You're going to be an amazing witch when you get older," her father said smiling proudly at his little girl. The Black family hasn't been able to produce most of these gifts for over 200 years.
"I found out something about Voldemort, truly horrible things. I wrote them down in hopes that someone could finally do something about it. I mean, I agree with a few of his ideas, but I don't agree with mindless and cold-blooded murder. Someone needs to stop him before he exposes the magical world," Mira explained.
"Where's this list?" her mother asked. She may agree with the Drak Lord's ideas but she wasn't going to let anyone harm her family or the magical world.

"Merlin," her parents muttered stunned and horrified.
"You see what I mean?" she asked.
"Gornuk, do the goblins know how to get rid of Horcruxes?" her father asked.
"Yes. They are abominations," he said gruffly.
"Get rid of these," her father requested.
"It'll be done by the time your twins are in school. The other Goblins and I will even kill Voldemort. He's a threat to all magicals," Gornuk said.
"I have an idea on what you can do with the Slytherin and Gaunt vaults," Mira said.
"What want's that?" her father asked.
"Build magical orphanages. They would be for orphans, magical creatures, and squibs. They would be safe and they wouldn't be in danger or be able to expose the magical world," she explained.
"Why didn't we ever think of that?" her mother asked as she smiled at her very smart daughter. She was already more than proud of her.
"Because adults don't think as kids do," her father said laughing. He was very proud of his daughter.
"Can we talk more later, I'd like to meet my brothers," Mira said smiling.
"Oh, of course," her mother said before motioning her brothers over.
"Mira, this is your twin brother Sirius and your little brother Regulus," her father introduced them.
"I'm so happy to finally meet you," Sirius said as he and Regulus hugged her.
