In a darkened courtyard three robed figures appear carrying small objects in their hands. They enter a library where a male rabbit was putting a large book in a metal hexagon surrounded by others. The rabbit then saw the robed figures. The librarian stares at them when others enter from all sides wearing dark red clothing. They all make strange gestures and take out different objects. Four of them had orange sparking whips which they threw around the librarian's arms and legs. He screamed as he was suspended in mid-air. A bucket is placed under him and a large brown mouse in yellow armour approached. The mouse kneels in front of the librarian and cuts of his head with two knives. The librarian's head fell into the bucket. The mouse unchains one of the books, his followers look over his shoulder as he opens it. He looks until finding a page with a red symbol. He takes the page and is about to leave when "Master Omen. That ritual will bring you only sorrow". Omen looks and sees a female panther wearing purple clothes. Omen glares at her before running through a portal followed by his acolytes. They burst out onto a busy Knothole Street. They keep running when a reflective crystalline shield appears in front of them. They stop and turn to face the panther. No one else on the street seems to notice anything strange going on. The panther waves her hand and parts of the buildings around them begin to spin like clockwork. Omen watches angrily "Hypocrite". The world around them suddenly spins and they fall onto the side of the building. Two of the Acolytes spun whips around the panther's legs, but she just casually stepped back knocking them over. The panther formed two glowing discs over her hands, and she slashed at two of the acolytes across the chest killing them. She makes a gesture, and the acolytes fall towards the sky. Omen waves his hand and a swirling sparking portal formed underneath them. The fall through and the portal disappears. The panther watches before making a gesture. She walks through a reflective wall and the world returns to normal, and she lands on the road. She casually walks across the street. People finally notice her but apart from finding her clothing strange they didn't seem at all phased by what just happened.
In a hospital a brown monkey washed his hands before being helped into surgical scrubs. He puts on gloves and a mask and enters an operating room. He operates on an unconscious patient as students watch behind glass taking notes and watching him amazed. The monkey bobs his head to music being played on a phone "Challenge round, Billy". Billy the Kola pressed a button on the phone and the music changed. The monkey looked annoyed "Oh, come on, Billy, you've got to be messing with me". Billy laughed "We Gotta Stop Her, Forget Me Knots, 1977" "Honestly, Billy, you said this one would be hard" "Ha! It's 1978". The monkey shook his head "It may have charted in 1978, they album was released in December of 1977. Check again". A female fox on his left rolled her eyes "How do you store all this useless information?" "Useless. That band charted a top ten hit. Status, Billy?". Billy was on his phone "1977". The fox sighed and the monkey looked smug "OH! Feels so good, doesn't it?". He then spots a female purple bandicoot standing at the door". The fox saw her as well "Oh, I got this, Khan. You've done your part. Go ahead. We'll close up".
Khan was walking with the bandicoot who handed him a data pad "GSW". It showed a gorilla skull with a bullet inside the forehead "It's amazing. You kept him alive. Apenic, failed the brain stem test and the apenea reflex test… I think I found the problem, Doctor Perci. You left a bullet in is head". She rolled her eyes "Thanks. It's impinging on the medulla. I needed a specialist. Nic diagnosed brain death. Something about that doesn't feel right to me". Khan looked concerned "We have to run".
They entered the room and saw a frog putting a chart on the gorilla's bed "Dr West. What're you doing?" "Organ harvest. He's a donor". Perci shook her head "No. Slow down. I did not agree to that" "I don't need you to. We've already called brain death". Khan stepped forward "Prematurely. We need to get him prepped for sub-occipital craniotomy" "I'm not gonna let you operate on a dead man". Khan held up the pad as if talking to a child "What do you see?" "A bullet?" "A perfect bullet. It's been hardened. You harden a bullet by alloying lead with antimony. A toxic metal. And that's leeched directly into cerebral spinal fluid. The patient's not dead, but he is dying. Still want to harvest his organs".
They were back in the operating room with the gorilla. Khan and Perci were both in scrubs while West watched from the side. Khan carefully drills into the skull as Perci looks down at the floor "Thank you". Khan keeps his concentration and removes a piece of the skull. Perci hands it to another surgeon "Image guidance, stat" "We don't have time for that". Perci stared at Khan "You can't do it freehand" "I can, and I will". West didn't seem to like this "This isn't a time for showing off, Khan" "How about 10 minutes ago when you called the wrong time of death?" Khan said coldly.
Khan wore magnified lenses and examined the brain "Cranial nerves intact". He's handed a tool by Perci which he slowly and carefully inters into the head. He starts hearing a ticking sound. He blinked struggling to focus "Doctor West, cover your watch". West was confused but did so. Khan got his concentration back and slowly pulled the bullet out of the brain and dropped it in the bowl.
Khan and Perci went out and met with the Gorilla's family. Perci told them he made it, and they sighed in relief. The mother hugged her continuously saying thank you. She then hugged Khan who awkwardly turned to his side and patted her on the back.
