"Where the hell I'm I?" Mumbled Subaru standing in the middle of the room.

The room was small, in fact, it wasn't a room at all it was a shed. It was a small shed with a bed which he was sitting on, and a small table in the middle of the shed with a window.

A minimalistic design one would say, although what would one ask other than that in a shed.

Subaru stood up from the bed feeling a severe headache overcome him, he rubbed his temples as the pounding pain subsided, He looked around at the room and took note of the unfamiliar room.

'I'm not in the mansion.' Quite the inference from someone with a terrible headache, how commendable Natsuki Subaru.

He took off to the window to get some fresh air, and possibly figure out where in the name of God he was.

The moment he looked outside his vision was swarmed with the colour green.

Evidently, the shed was enclosed by trees, thick, tall and innumerable were the trees, he was in the middle of a forest and it was not at Roswell's, this one was too green? The plants and the trees were at least twofold the ones in Roswell's territory.

Subaru began to feel a bit uneasy, from the unwelcomed predicament he was in, though familiar as he has gone through this many times, -this being in a room he doesn't recognize- it was quite uncanny and rather nostalgic, but he would rather not try to recollect those first days, he should just think of a way out.

As he was scheming a means to get back to the mansion, a voice stopped him.

"first and foremost let me assure you, that you or any of your associates are in no danger, I merely wish you would grace this maiden with your presence, and perhaps an exchange of words while we sip tea." The girl replied.

Subaru was left wondering who or what this bizarre stranger could possibly be, she appeared to have a commanding ing tone, yet there was a sense of endearment in her voice, though the threat-that-was-not-a-threat she gave made him wary of her. but he decided to trust her for now.

He sat down on the chair next to the table. He didn't know why but he felt compelled to make conversation with the odd lady before him.

The girl walked over to where Subaru had been seated and sat down opposite him at the wooden table.

After taking a sip of tea.

she looked up to Subaru and said "I can see that you are confused mister Natsuki Subaru, don't get for this humble maiden will alleviate your curiosity, this humble maiden goes by the name Pandora, though, you might know me better by my title, The Witch Of Vanity, and the witch cult's leader." Subaru stared at her blankly for a second, then burst into laughter.

he laughed so hard that tears started forming in his eyes. it wasn't as if he didn't believe her quite the contrary, but the thing he believed in the most was his bad luck.

it hasn't even been a week since he came back from vollachia. and now he is face to face with a witch, not just any witch but the worst of them all if what echidna said held true, and he trusted her for it was one of the only times she showed emotion -it was not a beautiful sight-, it was a mixture of fear distaste and dread, it was something so surreal to see on the face of the witch of greed.

Subaru stopped laughing abruptly as a thought ran through his head.

If this was really happening then maybe that means he isn't doomed yet. Maybe he has a chance to escape this hell hole and get back home.

"Mister Subaru, are you alright?" Pandora asked with a blank face adorned with a smile so artificial, how befitting of her witch of vanity.
