Cliff was in a cluttered workshop using a grinding wheel on a piece of metal when he hears something. He continues to face the wheel "Can I help you?" "They carried you into Groovy Train on a stretcher. Look at you now". Cliff turns and sees Merlina standing in front of him "Merlina. So, what can I do for you?" "I've been away for many months now, and I've made a revelation. The true purpose of a sorcerer is to twist things out of their proper shape. Stealing power, perverting nature. Like you". Cliff backs away to his workbench "I've stolen nothing. This is my power" "Power has a purpose". Cliff grabs a crowbar and tries to hit her but she ducks down and touches his stomach with her hand. She pulls a glowing energy from him and Cliff collapses to the ground unable to move his legs. His hands shake and he stares up at Merlina afraid "Why are you doing this?". Merlina's scabbard glows, her hair turns blue, her skin white and a tattoo appears on the left side of her face. Her clothes turn darker "Because I see, at long last, what's wrong with the world". She crouches and gazes at him "Too many sorcerers".
