When Biyomon merged with Vulturemon, they ended up becoming Horusmon. The situation just keeps going from bad to worse. Horusmon is now upon the human world and terror is coming down. It started looking grim when it seemed Musuko and Tai fell to their demise...or did they?

"Urgh... My head..." Musuko was able to survive what happened to him. He was finally able to pull himself together and get back up. He felt sore and bruised, but it was nothing he couldn't really handle. "Wait. Where the heck am I?" Musuko couldn't really see a thing. It was all pitch black, but he did feel stone. Wanting to know where he was, he felt around for his phone and pulled out a flashlight feature that could help him see. "How did I get underground?" He wondered what happened until he remembered everything that happened to him. "Oh yeah. That was one mad bird."

"Musuko? Is that you?" Musuko heard his uncle. Since Tai fell with him, he would have to be down there with Musuko.

"Uncle Tai? Where are you?" Musuko called out as he tried to find him.

"Over here." Musuko followed his voice and spotted him, but Tai was sitting against the wall and he looked like he's seen better days. "I'm glad to see you made it."

"You're hurt..." Musuko said as he was shocked to see his uncle so banged up.

"I had to use myself as a shield to try and keep you from getting hurt from that fall." Tai said.

"Can you get up?" Musuko questioned.

"I already tried. That fall got me pretty good." Tai said. "I guess I should be fortunate. Some sort of guardian angle must be watching over me because I'm still in one piece after all that." It looked like Tai wasn't going to be moving any time soon, but Musuko wasn't going to leave his uncle down here.

"Come on." Musuko said as he placed Tai's arm around him and tried to get him up with all his strength.

"Musuko, you can't carry me for long." Tai said.

"Don't worry. I'm stronger than I look." Musuko said as he tried to look tough to keep his uncle from being concerned. "Let's just focus on finding a way out of here. How long do you think we've been down here?"

"That's hard to say really." Tai said. "At the same time, while we've been down here, who knows what has happened to Hiro and the others."

"We better move fast." Musuko said as he and Tai tried their best to find some way out. They can only hope now that by the time they do get out, it won't be too late.

Odaiba

William and the others were getting ready for a fight against Horusmon. As Horusmon's dark clouds shadowed over Odaiba, all of them headed for where Horusmon was suppose to come from. They all headed for the river and readied themselves for anything. Benson and Toby were the only ones not present since they stayed behind to watch over Natalie.

"This should be where Horusmon comes in from." Susan said.

"Fine. Be ready for when they come." William said. All of them got ready for a fight because this might be their last chance to save their friends. "What about the rest of the city?"

"Procedures are being made for the citizens' protection." Tyson said. "Let's just hope no one comes down here to get in the way."

"Good. The less people involved, the less trouble for us." William said.

"William, why am I even here?" Cassie asked as it seemed like she has given up any hope of seeing Hawkmon again.

"You're really telling me that you don't want to see Hawkmon again?" William said as he knew that wasn't the case.

"I said it myself that it was just better that you should just go ahead and destroy him." Cassie said.

"Maybe, but I don't think that's what you really want." William said. "I know what you're going through, Cassie; at least an idea. I thought I lost Lopmon and would never see him again years ago. I wasn't even sure that I deserved to have Lopmon back. However, we found a way to be together again. That's why you can't give up on Hawkmon. If someone like me could get Lopmon back, you surely can see Hawkmon again." Cassie wants to believe that, but it just wasn't looking good from what Cassie is actually seeing.

"Guys, let's keep in mind that it's not just Hawkmon this time." Koji said.

"Koji's right." Salamon said. "Biyomon is inside that thing. We've got to try and rescue her too."

"We will." Armadillomon said.

"That's right. No one is loosing anyone." Uria said as all of them are doing their best to keep hope alive.

"Get ready. Here it comes." Tio said. All of them spotted Horusmon entering the city. This is where they all take a stand and try to put an end to this once and for all while also trying to help their friends.

Toby and Benson

Toby and Benson remained behind to watch over Natalie. Until she wakes up, she can't be left alone. Benson kept an eye outside while Toby watched over his sister.

"Come on, sis. We're going to need you." Toby said.

"I'm sure she'll be okay. She's a tough girl." Gabumon said.

"I hope so. We're going to need her." Patamon said. They all hoped the best until they heard the sounds of footsteps coming to where they were hiding.

"Natalie! Toby!" They were surprised when they saw it was Matt and Sora with their own problems. They all hurried over to the bed and tried getting a look at her.

"Are you okay, Toby?" Sora asked.

"I'm fine. Natalie is the one who seems to have the worst of it." Toby said.

"Uh... I'm okay too, in case my aunt and uncle would have wanted to know." Benson said to make his presence known.

"Sorry, Benson." Sora said as she went hugged him. "We got your message and came here as soon as we could."

"What happened?" Matt asked.

"I'm not sure." Toby said. "Musuko and William were trying to capture Hawkmon while he was a digimon named Vulturemon and he went on a rampage. He unleashed some sort of attack that caught up to Musuko and Tai. They were gone."

"What?! Tai and Musuko?!" Matt said as those hearing this for the first time were quite shocked to hear what happened to them.

"Natalie appeared to be in shock." Benson said. "Something about how she was feeling or something caused her Biyomon to merge with Vulturemon. They DNA digivolved into Horusmon, who is here right now and the others are trying to handle the situation."

"I still don't understand how that could have happened to Biyomon." Patamon said.

"It's quite simple when you think about it." Sora said. "Natalie inherited the power from the crest of love, my crest. That power ended up getting darkened and it's what caused the whole thing to happen."

"I think I get it." Benson said. "Seeing what happened to Musuko awakened the power of the crest, and her negative feelings altered that power. That's how Biyomon became a part of Horusmon."

"Hold on. Mom just said that Natalie inherited her crest, the crest of love." Toby said as he was seeing something. "We were aware of this, but are you saying that Natalie is really..." Gabumon climbed up on Toby and covered his mouth. He stopped Toby from talking when and him look at his father. Matt was not giving off a friendly look.

"Natalie is what?" Matt said as his fatherly instincts were coming in. Toby knew better and just kept his mouth shut.

The Digidestined

All of them stayed where they were as Horusmon towered over them. They braced themselves for anything and were ready for a fight. Horusmon might be powerful, he might be made out of two of their digimon friends, but they've got to do something while they still can

"Kokomon, are you ready to digivolve yet?" William said.

"I am." Kokomon said as he jumped in the air and already started.

"Kokomon digivolve to...Lopmon!"

"Are the rest of you ready?!" William said. All of them grabbed their digivices and were ready. Time to put those mega powers to the test.

"Digivolve to..." All the digimon that could digivolve began to mega and unleashed their power.

"Cherubimon!"

"ShineGreymon!"

"Plesiomon!"

"TyrantKabuterimon!"

"GrandKuwagamon!"

"Jurassicmon!"

The six digimon charged right at Horusmon. They all tried attacking directly, but Horusmon unleashed a wave of his power and tried pushing all of them back. They did their best to hold off against that attack and pushed through. ShineGreymon took the first attack as he gave himself a boost and his wings shot like thrusters. He went up to Horusmon and smashed his fist against Horusmon's chest, but it was like it did nothing. All Horusmon did was knock him away.

"Dimension Scissors!"

"Dino Roar!" GrandKuwagamon and Jurassicmon unleashed their attacks and blasted Horusmon, but the attacks just bounced off him. Nothing was working against him so far, but they all have to try their best to fight off Horusmon to save their world and their friends.

"Palmon, come on. You have to digivolve." Mason said.

"But I don't know how." Palmon said.

"Salamon?" Koji asked if he could do anything, but Salamon didn't seem to know what to do either. "I don't get it. How did Veemon and Lopmon digivolve to UlforceVeedramon and Cherubimon when they don't remember much either?"

"DemiVeemon, what's the secret?" Salamon questioned.

"I didn't really think about it." DemiVeemon said. "I just focused and had trust in that strange bond that Musuko said we have." Mentioning Musuko like that saddened DemiVeemon. They need him now more than ever, but he isn't here. "Musuko, where are you?"

The Digital World

Musuko and Tai continued to try and find some way to get back to the surface, but they haven't found a thing yet. It wasn't easy since Musuko had to hold his uncle up. The place looked like it went on forever and there was no clear path that leads to the top.

"It's like a maze down here." Musuko said. "There's got to be a way out."

"I'm sure we'll find it. We just have to keep going." Tai said. The two of them kept moving, but what was happening kept going on in Musuko's mind.

"Uncle Tai... Do you think we really have to destroy Hawkmon?" Musuko said.

"Well, it is a tough choice." Tai said as he understands fully what the situation is like. "I know how close Cassie and Hawkmon is, but she can't stand seeing him like this."

"That's why I can't believe why Cassie would suggest something like this." Musuko said.

"She might have suggested it as a last resort, thinking there's nothing else." Tai said. "Who knows what the heck is going on with that girl's mind. A long time ago, a friend of mine suggested that we had to destroy her partner too. We all hated it, but we did what we had to do."

"But that isn't fair. None of this is their fault." Musuko said.

"I know, but life usually isn't fair." Tai said. "It's all part of life, part of growing up. As you get older Musuko, you're going to have to make the hardest of decisions, and you'll have to do what is right...no matter how much you hate it." Musuko was beginning to see that as he thought about what Cassie asked. She probably had to make a hard decision on how to stop Hiro and she had to do what was right even if she hated it: destroy Hawkmon.

"I'm really not looking forward to growing up." Musuko said. "I understand all of that, but that doesn't mean I agree. I'm not giving up on them that easily." When he said that, it made Tai realize something that happened earlier.

"You never intended to destroy Hawkmon back there, did you?" Tai asked.

"I don't want to, but we've been taking it too easy." Musuko said. "If we really want to save our friend, we have to stop holding back. We can't hold back, but I'll take on what comes if the worst does happen. We may not be those same little kids that got pulled into all of this all those years ago, but we're smarter and stronger than back then. That's why I'm not backing down. I'll do what I believe is right, not what I'm told is right." Tai was rather impressed. He might be Davis' son, he might look like Davis, but Tai can see some of himself in his nephew. Perhaps Musuko has grown up after all, more than anyone really realized. "In fact, I think things are already looking up." He claimed as he spotted a slither of hope. Tai looked up and spotted sunlight shinging through. Maybe there is still some hope.
