Thanks to Izzy, the digimon's memories have been restored and are back to full power. All of the digimon are at their strongest forms and are ready to fight. However, during the memory restoration process, Biyomon's memories were being restored while she was inside Horusmon. It's giving them an opening, but it might not be enough if they're not willing to fight at full power.

"You think Hawkmon and Biyomon can still be saved?" Tio questioned.

"We have to try something, but we're running out of time." William said as they're all worried Homeostasis will still go through with their plan. "Horusmon seems to be affected by the memory restoration, but there's another problem." He took a good look at the fight and saw how the digimon were fighting against Horusmon. "The digimon are holding back. They don't want to hurt their friends."

"What's the point?" Cassie said as she couldn't look anymore.

"Cassie, don't say that!" Uria said.

"Aren't you even going to try to save him?" Tyson said. Cassie didn't know how to respond. It's like she's really have given up. Natalie thought back to her dream of Biyomon, telling her to find Hawkmon's light. She was beginning to understand now.

"Cassie!" Natalie said as she ran to her and grabbed a hold of her. "Cassie, you can't give up on Hawkmon. You are what gave Hawkmon the strength he needs. You can't give up hope on him because Hawkmon is still out there!"

"How do you know?!" Cassie cried as she just couldn't take this anymore.

"Natalie is right." William said. "Hawkmon might still be in there." Cassie still didn't see how. "Think about it. Hiro wanted his resurrection, but he never had any control over the digimon that did this. He has no control over Horusmon. So, why come here of all places?" That was a rather good question and that had Cassie thinking. "I think it's some sort of homing instinct. Hawkmon must still be in there, but you might be the only one that can reach him."

"How?" Cassie said.

"Just believe in the bond you have with each other. Is it really that hard?" Mason said, but Cassie just wasn't sure. "Cassie..." He was going to talk to her about this more, but that was when his phone went off and he saw it was his mother. Knowing her, he decided to answer. "Mom, this isn't a good time."

"Mason, is Tyson with you? I just got a call that Tai is alive!" Mimi said with Mason shocked that he is. "He's hurt, is in the hospital, but he's alive!"

"Tyson! Mom just said that Dad is alive!" Mason said. Tyson was both shocked and happy to hear that. That made everyone think that if he's alive, Musuko might be too. Hearing how things were changing, Cassie was beginning to rethink everything for the better. All of them snapped out of their thoughts when they heard something crash against a building. They all looked and saw Horusmon was pushed back.

"Do they have him?" Benson said.

"I sure hope so." Koji said as they all want this to end. All the digimon gathered around Horusmon and tried treading carefully. They all thought they had Horusmon, but Horusmon was still pushing back. He held his claws over his body and began to gather power as it looked like a black sun was forming.

"You've got to be kidding me." Tyson said as he couldn't believe Horusmon could keep going. Horusmon unleashed that black sun and it detonated against all the digimon with all of them being blown back and were greatly injured. They were all blown into the water or smashed against buildings. It wasn't looking good for them at all.

"It's no use! They're all holding back because they don't want to hurt their friends!" William said. "If this keeps up, it will be game over for us!" It was looking grim for all of them. The only one who was finding enjoyment in this was Hiro.

"There's nothing that can be done. Horusmon is one of the most powerful digimon there is. As if these mere children ever stood a chance." Hiro said.

"Cassie, please. Don't give up on Hawkmon. He's still in there, you just got keep trying to reach him." Natalie said.

"But I..." Cassie had no idea what she's even suppose to do. She just backed away as she couldn't stand much more. This was all too much for her. It was about to get a lot worse for her as a piece of a damaged building came lose and was about to crush down on her.

"Cassie!" They all called as she was about to be crushed, but someone came by and pushed her out of the way just in time. Cassie and the others were amazed at who was brave enough to save her, and they were all beyond joyful when they saw it was Musuko who did it. To them, his return was a living miracle.

"I knew I see you again!" Veemon shouted as he jumped right in his arms.

"You're alive!" Koji said as they were all glad to see him again. Natalie almost had tears of joy.

"Sorry I'm late to the party." Musuko said.

"Musuko... You really did manage to survive..." Cassie said as she was astonished.

"Goes to show you miracles can happen." Musuko said. Perhaps Cassie was wrong to give up if a miracle like this did happen. "Veemon, are you ready to join in the action?"

"I've been ready!" Veemon said.

"Good because we're going all out." Musuko said as he looked at everyone to make the message clear. "We can't hold back anymore. We can't be too focused on saving Hawkmon."

"But Musuko, he's our friend, and Biyomon is inside there too!" Koji said.

"I know all that. All we can really do is hope for the best. We're not kids anymore." Musuko said. "Will you all just trust me?" None of them liked what they had to do, but they did trust Musuko. "Let's go, Veemon."

"Right!" Veemon said as he jumped in and was ready for action with Musuko reaching for his D3.

"Veemon warp digivolve to...UlforceVeedramon!"

UlforceVeedramon flew straight at Horusmon and was fully prepared for what needed to be done. He unleashed his sword and was not holding a thing back. As Cassie watched this all unfold, seeing all that has transpired that has brought them all to now, she is beginning to see things in a new light. As one who always had faith in science, it was hard for her to believe in things that science never proven. Perhaps that is why she gave in to feelings of despair and misery so easily. Maybe she didn't believe miracles were for real.

"Everyone is fighting so hard..." Cassie mumbled to herself. "They all want to save him so much, but he's my partner... I'm not even trying to save him..." Hawkmon means so much for her, yet she hasn't really tired to save him. She was giving up so easily, but her friends haven't. Now that she saw actual miracles happen before her eyes, it was inspiring her for one goal: save her partner. "HAWKMON!" She screamed as her emotions have reached their strongest point. Her D3 unleashed a powerful beam shot out of her digivice and was transferring power to UlforceVeedramon's sword. With that added power, he gave Horusmon one clean swing against his chest and he started to exert some data.

"He got him!" Musuko said.

"Wait! Something came out of of him!" Benson said. All of them took a closer look and couldn't believe it. Hawkmon AND Biyomon were both free from Horusmon. Once they were spotted, Seraphimon flew over and grabbed a hold of them.

"Biyomon/Hawkmon!" The girls called as Seraphimon dropped both of them off to the girls.

"We got them back!" Toby said as they were all happy to see their friends again.

"It's not over." William said. All of them took a look and saw why. "Somehow, Horusmon is still standing."

"How is something like that possible?" Mason said. "Biyomon and Hawkmon aren't in there anymore. How can this digimon still be standing?"

"But that means we don't need to hold back anymore." William said as they had nothing to fear now.

"Natalie..." Natalie looked down and saw Biyomon was awake with Hawkmon following.

"You're awake!" Natalie said.

"Cassie? What's going on?" Hawkmon questioned.

"Don't worry about it. What matters is that you're okay now." Cassie said.

"Biyomon, we still have some work to do." Natalie said. "Do you think you're able to fight? We've got to help the others."

"No problem. I remember how to do it." Biyomon said as she was herself as well. Now that she was back, the team was complete.

"Biyomon warp digivolve to..." Biyomon began to digivolve as she became a large bird with golden feathers with four wings and fierce firepower. "Phoenixmon!" (Another name for Hououmon)

"Starlight Explosion!" Phoenixmon unleashed multiple blasts of light and fire by flapping her wings and blasted against Horusmon. With no fear of loosing their friends now, the digimon all attacked Horusmon with fierce power and was beginning to overwhelm it. They were starting to push Horusmon back until he reached the bridge

"Come on, Horusmon!" Hiro called and was actually able to get his attention. "Finish them! Destroy them! Do it! Do it!" The thing about Hawkmon being separated from Horusmon means that Horusmon has no guiding conscious, nothing to tell it what's right and wrong. That's why Horusmon had no problem smashed his arm against the bridge. "What?! No!" Hiro called as he was knocked off where he was standing and began to fall. Hiro gave into his own despair and attempted to use others to get what he thought was rightful revenge, but he clearly got in way over his head.

"What was that about?" Jimmy questioned as none of them knew that Hiro was up there.

"I don't know, but we have to keep fighting!" Musuko encouraged as everyone kept on fighting. As for Cassie, she just stood there and watched as her friends kept going.

"Cassie, why are we just standing here?" Hawkmon questioned. "Aren't we going to help?"

"What can we do?" Cassie asked.

"Anything if it means we can help them." Hawkmon said. "Why should we stand around and do nothing while our friends are in need of our help?" Cassie was glad to have Hawkmon back, but it seems like she isn't up for a fight. "What's wrong? I can tell something is bothering you?"

"I just don't think I can do anything." Cassie said. "They all seem to know what they're doing." Through this whole crazy adventure, Cassie felt completely helpless and powerless. Hawkmon might have just got back, but he understands enough.

"That might be true, but that doesn't change a thing." Hawkmon said. "They are our friends and they need our help. That's all that should really matter. It might seem like they know what they're doing, but they are still our friends. We have to do something to help them."

"To help them..." Cassie said as she was looking back on some things.

"I knew I would do anything to help you. Wouldn't you do the same, just like before?" Hawkmon said. Him asking that caused something to click inside her.

"You know... I think I just now realized what my problem has been this whole time." Cassie said. "Back when we were all kids, I was always the smartest one. Being the smartest one, people depended on me. It might have been selfish of me, but I actually enjoyed that feeling. It just hasn't been coming around as much lately since we've all grown so much. Then, when the one person that matters the most to me really needed my help, I felt powerless and couldn't do a thing. Well, you know what, I'm tired of feeling that way." She was finally standing proud of herself as her spirit was being reignited. "I need to help others anyway I can, it doesn't matter how I do it. That's what Musuko and the others do. They don't care that the odds are against them. Their spirits are as strong as ever, and it's time I follow in their example."

"I couldn't agree more." Hawkmon said as she took Cassie's hand. Cassie was fighting back the misery and despair. Never again will she feel so powerless. That power shined through and allowed Hawkmon to awaken his true power.

"Hawkmon warp digivolve to..." Hawkmon began digivolving to his true form. He looked like Horusmon, but he was brighter in color with the armor shining gold. "Ramon!" All of them were amazed with Hawkmon's true mega form. Now that Ramon was joining in the fight, all of them were together and could now end this fight.

"Ruby of Osiris!" Ramon formed his own ruby and fired a powerful beam with Horusmon getting blasted by it.

"Everyone, let's end this!" UlforceVeedramon said. "Share your power with Ramon and we can finish this fight!" They all agreed with that as they shared their power with Ramon as Ramon form a gold shining ball of light in his hands and it only grew bigger and bigger.

"Golden Sun of Supremacy!" Ramon caused it to grow bigger and bigger. It was a like a shining golden sun that was lighting up the darkness, Cassie's darkness.

"Ray of Victory!" UlforceVeedramon added his own power to the golden sun and turned it into a shining beam of light. It blasted against Horusmon, blasting through the living darkness. With all that combined power, not even Horusmon could withstand it. Light was finally shining through the darkness that Hiro and Horusmon created and luminated a light of hope for everyone.

...

One Month Later

"It's been about one month since the whole thing happened." Musuko narrated. "That whole thing with Hiro and Horusmon was crazy, but we're all glad that it's finally over."

During the course of the month that the fight ended, everything was restoring to normal. Musuko and his friends were being cleared of criminal charges that Hiro made. The city was being repaired. Everything was going back to how it was with both worlds safe.

"Homeostasis seems to have backed off, too. That's good for us." Musuko said. "At the same time, Uncle Tai has been making a good recovery."

Homeostasis hasn't made any contact with them since the whole thing ended. With the threat gone, Homeostasis doesn't have much reason to interact with them. As for Tai, his recovering in the hospital has gone well. He should be back on his feet soon.

"Yep. Everything seems to be going back to normal with us." Musuko narrated.

"Oh my gosh! Are you actually narrating?!" Musuko snapped out of his thoughts as he saw Natalie walking up to him. While Veemon and Biyomon were chatting with each other, the two of them were left talking. "I can't believe you narrated. What the heck was that?"

"Just doing some thinking." Musuko said.

"Come on. Just enjoy the moment that we're all together." Natalie said as they looked down. The whole gang was together. They all wished they could do this more, but this is how life is. They all still find it hard to get together, but they still have ways of making it happen. It's all part of life, you find it harder and harder to get acquainted with your friends until you settle into your new lives.

"You know, I use to think growing up was changing your way of life." Musuko said.

"So?" Natalie said.

"It is, but it's more than I thought." Musuko said. "Growing up is about the changes in your life that come, and from the choices we make. I guess I didn't like it because I was afraid of what I was loosing, but this latest adventure feels a lot like the old days."

"You think?" Natalie said.

"Yeah." Musuko said. "I don't know what's ahead, but I know that there are somethings that will last forever no matter how much we grow and change." This adventure was different, but it felt the same. Growing up isn't an easy thing, but there are some things that stay the same and those things can bring real joy to one's self. Natalie always thought that Musuko was amazing, and that statement made her more sure. That's why she decided to act a little grown up herself as she grabbed herself around his arm and placed her head on his shoulder. "Uh... What are you doing?"

"Just let me have this." Natalie said as they were both embarrassed about it, but rather enjoyed it. Growing up isn't easy, but as long as we have people that we love, it isn't so bad.
