Chapter 61

Ari P.O.V.

It was all the paper work for my move to America, and information and pictures of my apartment. There was an open plan kitchen and living room, two bathrooms and two large bedrooms.

I looked through the file, open mouthed. How had Victor managed all of this? I looked at him.

"Do you like it?" He asked.

"The apartment's great, I love it, but how did you manage the paper work? I mean, I didn't even sign anything."

"Mort's good with a computer. He sorted everything out for you." He said smiling.

"You didn't have to go through so much trouble." I mumbled.

"It was no trouble at all." Victor said.

I smiled at him, and hugged him, being careful not to jostle Lena. "Just tell me rent isn't too much." I said.

"No rent. I bought the apartment."

"Viiiiic!" I moaned.

He chuckled. "I promised that I'd look after you." he said. "And that's what I'm doing."

I rolled my eyes, and pulled away, just as my mobile started to ring. I grabbed it and answered, after looking at the caller I.D.

"What's up Faith?" I asked.

"I can talk to animals!" she said.

"What do you mean?"

"As in I can understand my dogs, and next doors cat!"

"Are you sure you haven't just gone one step further into insanity?"

"Positive. I've had a full conversation with Roxie!"

"What about?"

"Food."

"Just food?"

"And the internet."

"A dog that can talk to you about the internet. That's interesting." I said, laughing.

"Not funny! I've developed another power!"

"That's a good thing though."

"I know, but don't take the Mickey out of it!"

"I wasn't." I stated simply.

"I know. It just freaked me out is all. I'm going to have to go vegetarian if I can hold conversations with them."

"Maybe you can only understand some animals."

"Hopefully. I do like meat."

"Just don't go to talk with sheep and cows."

"I'll try. Oh, I've had a vision, Paddy's about to discover he can teleport."

"What?"

"Teleport. You remember Kurt."

"Yeah, blue."

"That's right, well Paddy'll teleport with black smoke. I'll talk to you more in school, yeah?"

"See you in school Seer." I said, and we both hung up. "Faith can talk to animals."

"I guessed." Victor said.

"And Paddy will soon be able to teleport. Faith had a vision of it."

"You're friends are going to be different. You have quite a group."

I laughed and looked up at him, and kissed him. He kissed me back deeply. I felt Lena jump off my lap, and I stood up bringing him with me.

I heard the back door close, and knew that mam had left. I broke away, and grabbed, Victors hand. "Lets go upstairs."

"Are you sure, Kitten?" He asked gently.

"I need you Vic." I said.

He nodded, and we headed upstairs.
