Konoha, 11:30 PM (Local Time)
A lone figure, a boy no more than 8 or 9 years old sat under a tree in the freezing rain shivering because all he wore was a weathered and torn white t-shirt and a torn pair of denim shorts. Who is this boy? He's Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, eldest son of Kushina Uzumaki and the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze though he is not treated like his sisters Hitomi and Midoriko, who are given everything by their parents.
Kushina is walking around the quiet house, as both Hitomi and Midoriko were sound asleep. Wondering about Naruto, she goes up to his room.
"You'd better be asleep in there Naruto."
Hearing no sound in the room, Kushina opens the door and walks into the immaculate room finding it empty.
Naruto wasn't here, where in Kami's name was he?
Terrified, Kushina runs outside and began searching for the blonde boy, finding him asleep under a tree in front of the house, Kushina picks Naruto up and quickly takes him inside.
Timeskip - 9 years later
In the town of Birikami, a 17 year-old boy is practicing his kenjutsu katas, he has blonde hair that is neatly cut and sapphire blue eyes that have given an endless supply of fangirls, but he doesn't mind. The boy is Naruto Fujiyama, only son of renowned swordswoman, Fujiko Fujiyama and her Blacksmith husband, Tokugawa.
Naruto loves his parents, and why wouldn't he? They show him love, adoration and respect and discipline when needed, but overall the blonde loves his family with everything he has.
After his training, Fujiko calls Naruto in for dinner. He washes up and goes into the kitchen where Fujiko and Tokugawa were waiting for him, he greets both of his loving parents with a smile.
Meanwhile, in Konoha...
Life in the Uzumaki/Namikaze household has been anything but tranquil, Hitomi is angry about almost everything, Midoriko misses her Nii-san, and thus refuses to eat anything or sleep in her own bed, which is driving a deeper wedge between Kushina and Minato.
"What do you mean your giving up looking for Sochi!" Kushina shouts.
"Just what I said Kushina, we've been looking for nine long years and we haven't come across a single clue to where Naruto is or even if he's ali-."
Kushina slaps Minato hard across the face, her violet eyes blazing with anger directed at her husband.
"Bakayarou." she hissed, "How could say that! Would you give up if it were Hitomi or Midoriko who were missing!?"
Minato said nothing, he simply rubs his burning cheek.
Kushina hangs her head in defeat, dropping to her knees she sobs loudly in anguish.
"I want my Sochi back!" the redhead wails.
Naruto is about to go to bed when Fujiko comes into the room, she is carrying two wrapped bundles.
"Naruto, I have something for you." she says.
"What is it, Kaa-san?"
"It's a Kozane dou (do) gusoku, it's similar to the one I wore when I was an Onna-musha (woman warrior)
