Author's Note: Hey guys! I apologize again for the MASSIVE delay this time -_-" I've been updating my other fanfiction (Angel of Death) and have been busy with other things outside of writing. I'm currently preparing for the upcoming ComicCon that's going to be coming on July 8 through 10 near my town (I've bought a whole bunch of supplies for a cosplay I want to do for the con' :3) My freelancing gig has also been doing quite well recently so that's also keeping me busy ^^"
The good news is I've missed writing for this fic so I'll probably be updating it again soon :) In the meantime, enjoy this feel-good chapter and I'll see you guys in the next one :D

After a short 2 hour flight, Fey and Tenya landed near Musutafu. The sun had set while they were flying back from Kyushu. Once they exited the Iida family private jet, they were greeted by Tenya's parents, who had been eagerly awaiting their son's return. They had also been eagerly awaiting Fey's return as they had been worried about her since they saw her on the news. Once the two of them were off the plane, they both came to meet them. They seemed relieved to see that, apart from her missing feathers, Fey had come out of the ordeal completely unscathed, and judging by the looks on both her face and their son's, they could tell that they had good news to share with them. After spending a few moments in their company and thanking them for all of their support, they drove Fey and Tenya back to the U.A. campus, where all of their classmates were eagerly awaiting their arrival.
Once they were dropped off at university, Tenya accompanied Fey towards the dorms, but as they approached, he could feel her growing more and more agitated next to him. He could see out of the corner of his eye that she was nervously scratching at the back of her neck, where she usually tugged at the feathers there. With her skin completely bare now, she was leaving huge red gashes on the back of her neck with her nails. Tenya had to forcibly stop her from hurting herself by grabbing hold of her hand and turning her towards him.
"Fey," he said to her softly, attracting her attention.
"S-Sorry Tenya…" Fey apologized, her face slowly turning red from the embarrassment. "I hadn't noticed…"
She wasn't used to not having her feathers anymore to protect her skin.
"Don't worry about it," he reassured her with a gentle smile. "Take a minute to breathe. I'll go in and announce our arrival to the others. Alright?"
Fey was hesitant at first. She didn't want to make a huge deal out of what had happened to her back at the fish market, but she couldn't help but worry about what her classmates were going to say or think once they saw what she looked like right now. Would they make fun of her? Would they like her better without her feathers? A million questions were buzzing around incessantly inside her mind and she just couldn't seem to quiet her anxious thoughts. Tenya could sense this and tried his best to reassure her as best as he could.
"My Star…" he spoke softly again, cupping her cheek with his hand. "It's going to be alright. You have nothing to worry about. They're our classmates and as our Class Representative, I can assure you that you have their utmost support as well as mine."
She gave him a timid nod before inhaling a few deep breaths to calm herself down.
"I know… It's just-" she started to speak, before interrupting herself. "They've never seen me… like this."
"I know, Fey…" he replied as he leaned forward to kiss her forehead. "You don't have to explain yourself to me. Just focus on you and I'll come and fetch you once I've announced ourselves to the others."
"Okay," she answered him with another nod. "I'll wait for you here."
She gave him a sweet smile as he pulled away from her. Just knowing that Tenya was there for her and that he would look out for her brought her no small measure of reassurance. As he left her side to enter the dorm, Fey leaned against the wall and concentrated on steadying her breathing. Meanwhile, Tenya entered the main hall of the building where, sure enough, all of his classmates were waiting for them with bated breaths.
"Iida!" Ochako exclaimed as she ran towards him. "How's she doing? Is she here with you? Tell us what happened!"
A cacophony of concerns and questions arose from the crowd that had formed in front of the main entrance of the dorm. Unsurprisingly, of course. Iida perfectly understood why everyone was concerned for Fey. Many had expressed their concerns through text messages to the both of them, but they had kept their responses pretty short. Tenya wanted to let Fey decide what she was comfortable sharing with them and had respectfully kept the details of her condition secret for the time being. The only thing he had said to the others was that her current condition was not serious and that she would recover, so that they wouldn't worry so much about her.
"Fey is fine," he finally replied after motioning everyone to slow down. "She is currently outside. As some of you may have guessed, she is feeling quite anxious about the whole situation."
"Anxious? What for?" Mina asked.
"Well…" Tenya took in a deep breath. "If I'm being completely honest, she's worried that you'll react negatively to her… current state."
"What? That's ridiculous!" Ashido exclaimed.
"No, it makes perfect sense," Midoriya chimed in. "Think about it. You all saw what happened to her during the attack at Fukuoka. I think we'd all be a bit anxious to face our peers after surviving something like that…"
They all seemed to be in agreement with what Izuku had just said, including Iida. He knew how important it was for Fey to have her quirk, or more importantly, how important it was for her to have her father's quirk. Losing her quirk meant that not only would she have lost a part of her that still connected her to her father, but also her ability to achieve her goals of becoming a pro hero just like him. Her anxious feelings went beyond just skin deep. Of course she was worried about her appearance, but what had devastated her the most when she was in the hospital was the thought of having to give up on so many of her dreams, many of which she shared with him. In so many ways, Fey and Tenya shared the same dreams and aspirations. They both wanted to become heroes because of their respective families. They both inherited their fathers' quirk. Out of everyone in their class, Tenya was probably the one who could relate the most to what Fey had been feeling when she thought that her dreams of living up to her father's legacy had been completely destroyed along with her quirk back in Kyushu.
"Midoriya is right," he finally spoke. "I think we can all relate to how she is feeling right now. Being able to follow in her father's footsteps is something that is very important to Fey, and it's important that we continue to support her in whatever way we can."
"But she'll be alright, right Iida?" Uraraka asked tentatively. "She'll recover from this, right?"
He let out a deep sigh through the nose. "I'd rather let Fey explain her situation, but in short, yes. She will recover."
The general anxiety in the room seemed to alleviate at his words. After exchanging a few more words with his classmates, Tenya went outside to get Fey. As they both came back inside the building, everyone looked in shock at the complete absence of feathers on her body. Tenya had wrapped his arm around her shoulders as she timidly stared up at everyone's shocked faces. She could feel the anxiety rising up again inside her as the urge to scratch her wrists slowly started to build. She tried to distract herself by fidgeting with her fingernails, but it was useless. All she wanted to do was to disappear into her room until her quirk would come back and with it, her feathers, so that her classmates wouldn't have to look at her while she looked so different.
She was suddenly snapped out of her spiraling when she felt Sue's hands reach for hers. She lifted her face to look at her. Asui stared back at her calmly, taking her hands into her own as she tilted her head to the side and smiled.
"It's good to see that you're alright, ribbit!" she finally said after a while.
A wave of relief washed over the entire class as they stepped forward to see her. Even though their attention was somewhat overwhelming, Fey couldn't help but feel relieved to see all of their smiling faces again. Tears started to prick the corners of her eyes as she took Tsuyu into her arms, hugging her tight as a few of the girls joined into her hug. Ochako and Mina were on the verge of tears as they kept saying how relieved they were that she wasn't hurt. Fey was surprised to see that even Kirishima had a few tears pricking the corners of his eyes, even though he was trying to play it cool in front of the others. Before long, almost everybody had joined in their group hug and Tenya watched from the sideline as Fey was overwhelmed by the love and support of their classmates.
"You guys… You're squishing me," she managed to croak out as she was getting suffocated by her classmates.
"Alright everyone, give her some room," Iida intervened, working his way through the crowd so that he could hold her with one arm once again.
"So Fey, is it true that you'll recover from your injury? The media was saying that you had lost your quirk…" Ochako inquired, still visibly concerned.
"Yeah Fey! Tell us what happened!" Mina chimed in a bit more enthusiastically.
Fey could see that they were all awaiting her response. She figured they would want answers as to what had happened to her back in Kyushu, but she hadn't planned on telling them just yet, but seeing as they were all so worried about her, she knew she would feel guilty for not telling them right away, especially considering that she ultimately had good news to share.
"Well… Where to start?" she asked herself. "You all saw what happened in the news, right? I lost my quirk during the attack in Fukuoka. The guy I tried to grab had a gun with quirk canceling bullets inside."
"Hey, isn't that what happened to Amajiki during your internship, Kirishima?" Mina asked as she turned towards the red haired boy.
"Yeah it sounds awfully similar," Eijirou answered with an affirmative nod. "But Amajiki's quirk was already starting to come back a few hours after he had been shot."
"I wish it were the case with me," Fey sighed. "But the doctors said that if all goes well, I should make a full recovery a week from now."
There was a collective sigh of relief.
"I'm really glad to hear it!" Ochako exclaimed happily.
"We were all worried that you'd have to leave U.A. if your quirk didn't recover…" Mina said as she lowered her head.
"Technically speaking, she doesn't need a quirk to study at U.A…" a familiar voice came from the door behind them.
Mr. Aizawa had just come into the building along with All Might, much to everyone's surprise. Fey quickly turned towards them and bowed politely in response to their sudden arrival.
"Mr. Aizawa! All Might!" she exclaimed. "It's a relief to see you two again."
"We heard that you had just gotten back from your flight," All Might said. "How are you doing, kid?"
"I'm alright. Thank you for asking, sir."
"Figured you could use a little cheering up after what you went through in Kyushu."
"Hawks filled us in on what happened as well as the current state of your quirk," Aizawa explained. "We'll talk more about what you'll be doing until your quirk comes back but don't expect to be sitting on your ass doing nothing for a whole week…"
"N-No of course not sir!" Fey quickly responded. "If anything, I'm relieved to hear I'll still be able to train even without my quirk."
"Yeah well… you might regret saying that once you actually start training" A sinister smile crept across his face "For now, I'll leave you all to talk amongst yourselves. I have a pile of paperwork waiting for me in my office…"
He slowly shuffled away, grumbling as he disappeared towards his room. Once he was out of earshot, All Might turned towards his students and motioned for them to come closer.
"Alright now that he's gone, what do you say I treat you all to some MacDonalds to lift everyone's spirits?" he said with a huge smile on his face.
"Aw yeah you're the best All Might!" Kirishima shouted excitedly.
"Shhh! Keep it down young Kirishima! I'm not exactly supposed to treat you all to a late evening meal…"
"Oh right… Sorry All Might…"
"Say, where's young Bakugou at?" All Might asked as he looked around to see where the young blond was.
"Oh he's already gone to bed," Mina explained with a slight snicker. "He goes to bed reaaaaaally early."
"I see… Well, let's not disturb him then. Now, I'll take everyone's order, starting with you, young Salvador."
Fey nodded and eagerly gave All Might her order. Once everyone had given their order to their teacher, they all sat down in the common room and waited for their meal to arrive. It was nice to be surrounded by everyone again. Seeing everyone's face was a welcome sight after what Fey had gone through back in Kyushu. Still, she was a bit sad that Tokoyami wasn't there to share in the moment with them, but she figured they could spend time together once he was back from his internship.
"So Fey, what kind of training do you think you'll be doing during the next week?" Mina inquired curiously.
"I don't know," Fey answered, before pondering for a moment. "I could take this opportunity to work on things outside of my quirk while it's still recovering."
"Like what?"
"Hmmm… Well, for starters, it's been a while since I've trained with Tenya." She turned her attention towards her boyfriend with a smile.
"Ohhh so you're going to be doing some one-on-one training with the Class Rep', huh?" Mina snickered as she shot a look at the both of them.
Tenya's face immediately started to turn red at her insinuation and Fey started to blush alongside him.
"N-Not that kind of training, Mina!" she protested loudly as the others started to laugh around them. "I meant that we could start running together to improve my running speed… if that's alright with you, dear."
She turned to see her boyfriend's face beaming with pride.
"I would love nothing better, my Star! I'll set up a schedule for us and we can start training as soon as you're ready!" he said to her.
"That's Iida for you," Ochako laughed.
"Oh, that reminds me!" Fey exclaimed as she turned towards her friend. "I've been meaning to ask you, Ochako, if you'd be willing to show me some of your martial arts moves that you learned from Gunhead."
Uraraka pointed to herself in an incredulous way.
"You want me to train you?" she asked, stunned by her request.
"Well, yeah… I figured since you interned under a martial arts expert, you'd be the most logical choice for this, but if it's too much of an inconvenience for you…"
"Oh no no no!" Uraraka exclaimed loudly as she shook her head. "It's not an inconvenience at all! I'm just surprised that you'd ask me of all people, that's all!"
"Come on Uraraka!" Izuku replied. "Don't sell yourself short! Your training with Gunhead has really made a difference in your fighting style!"
"Ummm… Thanks, Deku…"
Even though Ochako had put her hands over her cheeks, Fey could still tell that she was blushing underneath. She smirked at the sight of her being all flustered and she and Mina shared a look with each other, as she too had noticed her blushing. They both kept quiet though and made it seem like they hadn't noticed a thing.
"Say if you'd like to improve your fighting skills Fey, I can also help out with that," Eijirou said proudly.
"Sure man! We can do some training together!" Fey answered with a smile.
"Nice! We can do some weight lifting in my room! Get you all buffed up for when your quirk comes back!"
Fey started to laugh. "Not sure about that last part, but improving my strength is actually not a bad idea at all."
"Don't forget that you've got your work study to worry about, Kirishima," Tenya reminded him. "You too, Uraraka."
"It's fine, babe," Fey said to him as she leaned against his shoulder. "That just means that while they're away doing they're work studies, we can go train together."
She looked up at him to kiss him on the cheek, making him blush again slightly. He smiled back at her, already excited at the prospect of training with her again like they had done during the training camp and before the sports festival. He could hardly wait for their training to start, and seeing Fey so enthused about resuming her hero training made him all the more elated. Seeing her smile again after seeing her in her low state made him so incredibly happy. He hoped that things would go well for her in the next week to come. With a bit of luck, she would be able to resume her full training once her quirk fully recovered.
