Chapter 82
Ari P.O.V
I woke up the next morning, and stretched. I felt stiff. My eyes fluttered open and I saw that I was looking up at the ceiling. I looked down to see Victor's arms wrapped round me. I looked up at him, and saw he was still fast asleep. I carefully unwound his arms and got out of bed and headed into the bathroom. I walked over to the bath, and turned on the taps. I let the bath fill up, before I got in and turned off the taps.
I lay back in the water until I was completely submerged. I lay under the water for ages, just thinking. I saw the slightly blurred image of Lena jump up on the side of the bath and walk round, before jumping off, disappearing from view. Then, Victor came into view. I sat up in the bath, and blinked the water away from my eyes.
"Morning Vic." I said.
"Morning Kitten." He said. He knelt down by the side of the bath, and his hand stirred in the water.
"What is it?" I asked. There was something on his mind, and I wanted to know what.
"Since Christmas, especially since you were shot, I just can't get the image out of my mind of you being pregnant with my cub." He said. "I want to try for a cub as soon as we're married, Kitten."
I smiled softly at him. "You've really thought about this, haven't you?" I asked, and he nodded. I ran a hand down his cheek. "I don't care how long it takes, Victor Creed, I want your baby growing inside me." His head shot up.
"So, after the wedding…?"
I nodded, a smile stretching across my face. "After the wedding, we can start trying for a cub." I said.
He laughed, and kissed me deeply. "Brilliant, Kitten." Victor said, his hand resting on my stomach. "I cant wait to see your stomach swollen as you carry my cub, or cubs."
"Well, you're going to have to." I said. "But, after the wedding, we'll get started on making our own family."
"Sounds good to me." He said, before kissing me deeply once more.
We stayed kissing for a while, before I decided that it was time for me to finish washing and told him to go take a shower. "You aren't gonna join me?" He asked.
"Not today." I said. "Now, if you don't mind, I want to finish my bath. I have a lecture this afternoon that I want to go to."
"Are you feeling up to it?"
"Yes, I am. I can't hide away forever, Vic. I want to go."
"Alright then." He said, nodding, and he stood up, and headed for the shower.
I spent a while more, finishing up in the bath, while Victor took a shower, before I got out and wrapped a towel round me. I walked back into the bedroom and pulled out a hair dryer to blow dry my hair. When I was done, I got dressed, and grabbed some breakfast.
Victor and I spent the time up until I had to leave for my lecture relaxing. When it was time for me to leave, Victor kissed me on the lips deeply.
"Take care of yourself, Kitten. I want you back with me and in one piece too tonight."
"I will, Victor. Don't worry." I said. I stood, grabbed my backpack and keys, and left the apartment.

Victor watched as Arianwen left the apartment. She'd agreed to try for a cub as soon as they were married. He smiled. That was great. He was going to be a father in around two years time. He'd have a cub to look after and raise. And of course, the child would be proof that he had Arianwen. In the summer, Arianwen Tigris Evans would become Arianwen Tigris Creed, binding her to him even further, their unbreakable bond becoming incontestable, and when cubs came along, everything would be complete. His mate would be bound fully to him, and he'd have his cubs, and his mate, to take care of. The idea of having a cub made him smile again.
"But only after she becomes Arianwen Creed." He mused to himself. The name rolled off his tongue easily. It sounded right to him. It was going to happen, and this time next year Arianwen would hopefully be pregnant with their first cub.

I spent the rest of the year in a routine. I'd go to work and University, keep in contact with friends and family, and at Christmas Victor and I flew to Wales to spend the time with my mother, sister, niece, brother in law and friends. Logan and Cari had also went over to Wales for Christmas, and a couple of nights I went to bed alone, and woke up with Victor around me, as he'd gone out with Logan. Not that I minded really, seeing as it was a good sign. If he could put up with Logan, then they were getting better, and the argument they had with each other was being resolved.
Another thing that happened was a truce had been called between the Brotherhood and the X-Men. Xavier and Magneto had agreed to end fights, so long as Magneto stopped his more radical campaigns and the Professor stopped being such a pacifist and realised that some situations needed violence to solve the problem, such as when people like Stryker were involved. They needed to be taken down as soon as possible, and they couldn't be persuaded by words to back down.
Christmas was the first time I saw my dress for the wedding, and it was perfect. Victor still had no clue as to what it would be like, and I intended to keep it that way. I had a moment of apprehension when Cari told me that Logan had found her sketch pad with the drawing of the dress, but we had managed to extract a promise from him not to tell anyone. Especially Victor. Victor tried every way he knew how to get even the slightest hint of the dress from me, but I didn't cave. I even gave him a couple of false ideas. I wasn't sure if he bought them though.
The only downsides to Christmas was that I didn't get to see either my dad, or Mark during the whole thing. I wished I could have, but stuff happens.
I was thankful for video calls, when it came to wedding preparations. Victor and I would be on one side, and mum or Cari would be on the other. Mum had been slightly disappointed that I wanted a very small ceremony, with only very close family and friends, but she let up when I said that she could help plan a party afterwards. Victor and I had agreed that we weren't going to have any speeches, or any of the normal things such as the first dance and the balloons or anything like that. We'd have a cake, but that was about it.
Mam had convinced me to have a professional Photographer at the wedding. I wanted to give a camera to one of my friends and have them take photos, but I guessed that a pro would be nice. The wedding was going to be held on a band stand if the whether was nice, and in the registry building, close to the band stand, if it wasn't. The priest who had taken services in my church my entire life was going to take the service. I was getting more and more excited as my first year in university came to a close, and it came time for invitations to be sent out for the party afterwards. I sent a few out to people in Sacramento. I got on well with several people on my courses, and there was of course Patrick.
I went out with Victor, and helped him choose a suit for the wedding, and then went out with dad to get him one that was similar. My first year at University drew to a close, and it was soon time for me to get on a plane to head back to Wales, for the wedding.
A/N: Please Review! I want to know what you think! The wedding will either be in the next chapter or the chapter after that, so please let me know what you think in a review, it doesn't even have to be long! PLEASE!
