Wasted potential

Izuku Midoriya, quirkless and rejected by society, until one day he meets All Might. But, what if, instead of leaving the building where the hero left him, he decided to take his life by jumping off the roof, just how Bakugo told him that same day. Watch the consequences of the acts as, eventually, All Might and Bakugo discover that the child they met is no longer who left them.

6. Chapter 6

The camp day arrives and the LOV captures Bakugo. They trap him in the bar, held by some anti-quirk handcuffs.

- You know you'd make a perfect villain. With that attitude of yours you won't make it very far as a hero. So, why keep trying? Just come with us –tried to convince Shigaraki.

- Like I'd go with you, you moron!

- Okay. If you're not willing to cooperate – Shigaraki looks at Dabi and makes a gesture with his head, indicating him to bring something from the room behind them – what about doing it for your dear friend?

Dabi brings Izuku out of the room. He is cuffed and looks very beaten up, with bruises all over his face and body, with his clothes broken and dirty.

- Ka...cchan.

Shigaraki gives him a kick in the head, making Izuku fall onto the ground.

- STOP! –yells Katsuki

- Are you joining us?

- Kacchan, don't do it.

- I...

Suddenly, someone knocks on the door. "Pizza" they say. The wall breaks and All Might appears. Fastly they trap all the villains.

The number 1 hero sees Katsuki and is relieved to see his student is safe. Nevertheless, when he sees Izuku, his face changes radically into one of concern and sadness.

While the heroes are distracted, something warps the LOV and Bakugo into an unknown location. They appear in Kamino ward, next to AFO.

In no time, All Might appears in the scene too, ready to fight his nemesis. The battle starts with the two punching each other repeatedly and trying to evade their attacks.

All Might, with a California Smash, knocks out AFO, who remains unconscious on the floor. Breathing heavily, he watches his defeated opponent on the ground:

- You were in no condition to fight and you know it. Not every wound can be healed.

He approaches the LOV, specifically Bakugo and Deku, who are now free.

- Young Bakugo, are you alright?

- Yeah, I guess.

- And you, young man? –referring to Izuku- Are you all right? I don't know why you were handcuffed, but that means you didn't agree with them all the time. I think that you're not evil, you are not a villain. You've just been deceived by society and me included. That's why I want to say sorry and beg you to come to the bright side again.

- I'm sorry, All Might.

Deku stabs All Might with a knife just where he has his wound, making the hero detransform in an instant and falling into the ground.

- But not every wound can be healed.

All for One then gets up from the floor and approaches them.

- Well done Izuku, everything has gone according to your plan. You tricked Shigaraki into kidnapping Bakugo –making him to feel like it was his idea-, then made him lock you up, which made All Might feel compassion for you and leaving him vulnerable for you to stab him just in the right place.

- Thank you master. Now, as we agreed...

- Of course, young man.

AFO puts one hand on top of All Might's and the other on Izuku's. Everyone watches the scene horrified; petrified for not knowing what to do.

The villain then starts extracting the hero's quirk, which causes All Might to shout in pain. At the same time, he transfers it to Midoriya, who also shouts in pain, but also in joy.

Once the process is completed, All Might falls onto the ground: dead. Izuku activates his quirk and starts sparkling.

- Enjoy your power Deku. With it, you and I will be able to make great thi-

Izuku punches AFO in the face, causing him to fall onto the ground. There, he repeats the process, tearing his helmet apart. He continues to punch his head until, finally, AFO gives up and dies too.

He then stands tall and shouts for everybody:

- World, I've killed your 2 main referents: the one representing the most goodness and the one representing the most evil. I won't cease until I change this society, so be aware of my presence.

He turns around to look at Bakugo.

- Kacchan, don't try to stop me. It's already too late to save me. If you-

Kacchan kisses him

- I lost you once. Not twice. I don't deserve to be a hero for what I made you and I won't fight you either. So I desist on that.

- Thank you. I knew I could trust you.

- I won't be a villain though. I just won't stop you.

- Fair enough.

And that's the beginning of the story of how Deku conquered the entire world and submitting it under his rule.
