After a while, Chicken Boo once again found himself within the coop, being in that exact moment that he realized that he sure got lost very deep into his memories. With that, he decided it was a good idea to take a stroll in the woods in order to clear his mind. Once he went outside, he could see Girly had already left, probably to the market or to visit her friends. That reminded him of something else.
Once he returned, he felt he could no longer hide the truth to Girly, leading him to confess what he had done. Unsurprisingly, Girly got mad at the chicken, as he had committed what was considered a horrible crime. However, she eventually calmed down a few days later, in which Chicken Boo decided to stay inside the coop out of shame for what he did. At that moment, Girly calmly asked him to come to her house. Once inside, she decided to start speaking.
"What exactly happened after the hunt?" she asked, feeling that there was no need for Chicken Boo to explain everything again.
With that, Chicken Boo told everything: calling the CEO, the meeting at the studio, the visit to his mansion, him finding out the truth and him getting mad at Sam and Nora.
That caused Girly to cry, as she felt sorry for everything Chicken Boo had to go through, especially after now understanding better why Chicken Boo did it: not out of malice, but because he didn't know. She couldn't help but hug Chicken Boo. Still, they both knew that no matter the intentions, what he did was still going to be crime.
As he passed by a quiet stream, Chicken Boo then remembered what they both did next…
He spent a few months with Girly going to a therapist who was friend of hers in order to help him feel better and let the whole thing pass, and find, of course, a solution to the problem; but first, she made him promise not to tell anyone what Chicken Boo did, especially the police. After a long time of proposing and thinking, Chicken Boo decided that he had to do what was best: report it to the police no matter what might happen; both his therapist and Girly thought it was a great idea.
It then happened that the next day was a beautiful October afternoon. Stores were hanging their Halloween decorations and people were doing shopping for their annual festivities; that just levitated Chicken Boo's spirits even more as he cheerfully walked towards the police station.
However, when he was just a few blocks away, he heard two footsteps from behind him. He thought it was a person who was going to return something he dropped, so he turned around, but what he saw was in fact really frightening.
He saw it was both Slappy and Skippy, still wearing the headstands; however, this time, they were now awake, and they had angry looks on their faces, with Slappy breaking the stand in a half in anger. Eventually, more of the characters he hunted joined them: The Goodfeathers, Rita and Runt, Minerva Mink, Charlton Woodchucks, Newt (who Chicken Boo didn't remember hunting), Buttons and Mindy, to name a few; they all were staring angrily at Chicken Boo, preparing to attack him.
At first, Chicken Boo was confused abut why they were angry, but it then hit him. They finally found out who was the person that was responsible for them disappearing, and they wanted to see justice served… by also hunting him.
Chicken Boo just had to let out a scream, and he had to run, as these toons probably wouldn't stop to hear explanations, as he could hear them behind him, even though he was a relatively fast runner. They would probably catch him, but thankfully, there was a nearby alley where he could hide, so after checking if they were far away from him, hid there, and thankfully the passed by him. After that, he knew they would stop by the police to report him, so he had no other choice but to hide in the ranch; there was something he just couldn't understand, however… how could they escape if they had the sleeping darts? They probably couldn't get rid of them themselves, as they were hung in the walls.
He eventually found out how when the reboot premiered. Nora Rita Norita, Sam Register and Wellesley Wild allowed him to be painted as a criminal. That was just despicable of them, but he could no longer do anything, as they had powerful lawyers he couldn't probably beat in court.
However, as he finished his walk, he also remembered that, even if everyone in Hollywood turned against him, he at least had the support of his loved ones, and he was living with one of them.
