When he finally hunted Slappy, Chicken Boo hid all of his former co-workers in a closet in Girly's house which she almost never used, so he knew that it will be the most obvious choice to hide his deed, as he felt that Girly may think that he was murdering them if she found them (which he knew was impossible, as cartoons can't die); however, that wasn't going to be the permanent spot, as he had plans for them… MUCH bigger plans.

Using the Walter Grubb persona and costume, he went searching for mansions to use as a secret hide-out for the hunted toons; he found many mansions that he liked very well, but they were located in very nice neighborhoods, which wouldn't be a problem for a normal person, but since he did something that some people might consider a crime, he feared that the neighbors might be suspicious of his behavior and call the police, thus ruining his plans. After searching for a few days, he finally found an abandoned mansion that was in a horrible state of deterioration; he immediately fell in love with it, so he bought it and after in two months, the mansion was just as good as new, and with that, the only rooms he furnished were the kitchen, a dining room and the trophy/living room, where he will hang the trophies of all the secondary Animaniacs characters, and admire the deed he did for Hollywood by getting rid of all these toons that for a long time had been hiding their true selves as greedy, selfish, horrible beings who might not only hurt him, but probably other people too!

After hanging all of the trophies, he sat down on the large cushion sofa he bought for it. He admired them, and felt a sensation deep down him. It was both a mix of pride and of sorrow. Yes, of sorrow, as he did feel a bit of remorse for what he did to his former co-stars and friends, as they were the only people who he had cared for aside from Girly. However, that was before he found that they had always talked bad about him behind his back, and now he knew what cruel beasts they really were. With that, he finally took the courage to go towards the phone to call the studio to see how they would react to what he did, hoping that since he got rid of the other secondary characters, they could finally lift that clause from the reboot bible and finally have him return. However, before he called, he had to take off his mask. After that, he dialed the phone number (he checked the telephone guide).

"This the offices of the Warner Bros. Studio, how may I help you?" he finally heard the secretary say. With that, Chicken Boo clucked in response.

"Oh, Mr. Chicken, glad to hear you. I know why you are calling!" responded the secretary happily, "let me transfer your call to Miss Nora."

Chicken Boo was actually pretty surprised with the fact that they were already supposing why he was already calling them; has Nora and Sam been spying on him, or could they predict the future?... No, that was total nonsense to think that an executive and a CEO would do that kind of stuff. So, he waited for a few minutes until he heard a female voice saying, "This is the offices of the Warner Brothers Studio, how can we help you?" With that, Chicken Boo bucked in response.

"Oh, Mr. Chicken, I see you finally did what you were supposed to do!" answered Nora, "I gotta say, congratulations and thank you for doing it! We would love to come next week to the studio to discuss about your return to the reboot!"

One would have expected that Chicken Boo was going to be overjoyed that the CEO invited him to the studio to discuss his return, but surprisingly, Chicken Boo was shocked. Nora knew what he did to the other characters, something that he found horrifying. Was she only inviting him to the studio so she could hand him over to the police at the studio? He was so shocked that he did not realize he left the phone hanging until Nora screamed at him asking him if he liked the idea. That was just enough to make Chicken Boo come back to his senses, and upon knowing that Nora was asking what he thought of the proposal, he immediately clucked in agreement, which was enough to satisfy Nora.

…..

The next morning came, and Girly happily agreed to take Chicken Boo to the studio upon hearing the news, even though Chicken Boo did not tell her what he had done, still fearing how she might react. During the ride, Chicken Boo wasn't feeling happy, but he rather felt extremely agitated and was sweating, as he was still feeling really shocked about the phone call from just yesterday; he was still doubting that Nora and Sam were actually planning a meeting with him to negotiate his return and that they were actually waiting for him to come so they could turn him in to the police for what he did to his co-stars; he knew that no matter how well his intentions were in hunting them, it was still considered a crime by the California Government.

Eventually, they finally arrived at the studio. Girly left Chicken Boo at the sidewalk near the entrance to the studio, but before he could leave, Girly had something to tell him.

"Boo" she started, "I know how you feel! When you suddenly are being accepted into something you thought that you would not be accepted in, it is normal to suddenly be surprised, but you may also be nervous. However, the most important thing is to have confidence in yourself! Understand?"

Chicken Boo immediately bucked in agreement, relieved that she was suspecting he was up to something. With that, she bid goodbye to him and went off driving until her car was out of sight.

Of that, Chicken Boo walked towards the entrance of the studio, and much to his surprise, Ralph was awake doing his job; since they already knew each other and was told by Nora about it, he let Chicken Boo into the studio with little to no problem. After getting in, Chicken Boo was greeted with a studio cart.

"Hum…. I believe you are Chicken Boo, right?" asked the driver, a tall white man with black hair, to whom Chicken Boo bucked in agreement.

"Then hop in!" said the driver happily, "Ms. Nora is waiting to see you!"

With that, Chicken Boo hopped into the cart. During the way, Chicken Boo took deep breaths in order to calm down, and just decided to wait and see what would happen. If the police were there, he decided that he had to take responsibility for his actions even if that meant that all his hard work would go down the garbage chute. When he finally arrived at the building where he was to meet with the others, which much to his surprise was the animation building, the driver, who was named Raymond, got out of his seat.

"Mr. Chicken…" said Raymond, "… Ms. Nora asked me to guide you to the place where you are to meet, as her secretary could not come because of some family issues."

With that, both him and the chicken entered the building. After that, they went to the elevator, and after a few seconds, they stepped into it. Chicken Boo was hoping that there would not be a problem along the way, and much to his relief, there was not. After a few seconds, they finally arrived at the fourth floor, and they went to a giant door that was at the end of the left hallway. Raymond eventually knocked on the door, to which a man that had a face that resembled Joaquin Phoenix an awful lot, only rounder, opened it, and upon seeing Chicken Boo, he let them in with a smile.

Upon entering, Chicken Boo saw that it was a medium room that was mostly empty aside from a large window and a long table with eighteen chairs, in which both Nora and Sam Register were sitting in.

"Chicken Boo," started Sam Register, "I think you just met Wellesley Wild, who could probably be your future boss on the reboot, as he is the showrunner."

Chicken Boo was not happy hearing those words. He felt extremely sad that they did not brought back Tom Ruegger to the series, as he felt that since he was the creator, he would be called back to production. He wanted to question the decision about replacing him with this guy Wellesley, but he decided to instead keep his beak shut.

"Well," started Sam, "I think Nora already told you why we have called you to talk about your possible return now that you have taken care of the other characters." With that, he took out a contract. The chicken's eyes grew wide at the sight of it, even more when they took out a pen. He was definitely excited that he could finally reunite with the Warners after such a long time, as he felt they were the only ones who had been honest with him, but before he could grab the pen and sign, Nora suddenly opened her mouth.

"Oh, I almost forgot! Before you fill in that blank with your signature on it, we would love to see where you put the other characters."

Chicken Boo was now pretty desperate to sign that contract, so he actually was not particularly pleased with Nora's demand to see the other characters' heads mounted on the walls. However, he understood that it was also pretty necessary for both her and Sam to see it personally in order to be sure that he, indeed, took care of those characters; so a few moments later, he saw himself seated on the co-pilots' seat on Nora's mini-van (which actually surprised him, as he thought that a businesswoman like her would buy something much more luxurious), giving directions to his hide-out while trying to hide his shyness at what they might do next.

At last, they finally arrived at the lonely mansion on the outskirts of Burbank; after getting past the gate, everyone got out of the car. When they got inside, he led them to the living room where he had his hunted trophies; Nora dropped her coffee in shock, Sam put his hand on his cheeks like the Home Alone kid, and Wellesley Wild… seemed to be really disgusted at the sight.

"Oh My Goodness…" whispered Nora loudly. Chicken Boo thought that meant she did not approve at what Chicken Boo did and at any moment she was going to report it to the police.

"Oh my goodness! This is the most despicable thing someone could do to do to a toon IRL, and it is the most deserving punishment for them!" said Nora in an approving tone.

"I couldn't agree more with you, Nora!" chimed in Sam Register with a smile.

At first, Chicken Boo was confused. It was really surprising that they thought that he was like a saint who suddenly came to fix all of the world's problems. Nora realized it, so she wrapped her arm around him to explain what was going on.

"Well, Chicken Boo, we actually lied to you! We had never intended to reject you! We just did you a small test. You see, we had received a ton a complaints from other actors revolving around how these toons had treated them really poorly, especially that old squirrel who everybody calls Slappy, which I feel is a name that is more fitting for a dummy. But we know how much they are loved by their fans, those poor dumb fools who only believe what is on their screen…"

Chicken Boo was certainly pretty unnerved by this woman's choice of words, particularly for her way of referring to the fans as "poor dumb fools", but was also really curious about where all of this will lead too.

"… and of course, if we took care of them personally, they will immediately think we are evil beings who hate those characters because we think they are bland, and the fact that it will receive a lot of media attention, so, by showing you those videos, we knew you would do all of this and save Hollywood from more emotional damage, something we couldn't probably do!"

With that, Chicken Boo was surprisingly touched by those words, and couldn't help but cry as he hugged Nora.

"You're certainly welcome" said Nora happily, "but I think you should receive Mr. Wild's approval too!"

Nora then stared at Wellesley Wild, who then walked towards Chicken Boo. He gave a calm smile as he gave him his hand, to which Chicken Boo the proceeded to shake it and they both hugged each other.

"I have to tell you something" whispered Wellesley on his ear, "I'm actually surprised Nora allowed me to give final approval to have you in the reboot, as both she and Sam shot down many of my ideas to honor the original series." Those words just gave Chicken Boo goosebumps, as he thought he was allowed to take many of the decisions, as he was the showrunner. With that, Wellesley finished the hug and both of them went towards the entrance to go outside, as Nora and Sam had already left and were waiting for them in the minivan.

"I think you should not have hunted Katie Kaboom!" said Wellesley as they went out, "I really don't like her either, so I didn't consider bringing her back."

Chicken Boo could clearly remember that she was not among the characters who had a meeting with Sam Register and supported the clause that excluded him from the reboot. However, he decided to also hunt her because he could remember what a bratty monster she was, and knew it would be the definitive favor to both society and her family.

Back at the animation studio, Chicken Boo was back at the meeting room with both Sam, Nora, and Wellesley, were he finally signed his contract, and they all decided to have a nice meal to celebrate. Wellesley Wild left after finishing his meal because he had an appointment with Steven Spielberg regarding the reboot.

After a while of talking about each others life and how the reboot was going to be like, Chicken Boo felt the need to go to the restroom, to which he excused him. After finishing, he decided he had to go back home, but as he returned back to say farewell to Nora and Sam, he noticed something strange in the hallways…

It was door. There was no sign that said it was an "employees-only" room. He decided to enter out of curiosity, but he saw that the door was locked; that was until he saw a key on the floor, to which he tried to open the door with, and to his happiness, they worked. Upon entering, he could see it was the room from the videos Sam showed him, but something was off… under the security camera where everything was recorded, there was a small doorless entrance, to which he decided to investigate further. What he saw shocked him greatly…

They were costumes of his former co-stars; they were really well-made and looked exactly like the real people. He realized the whole truth. Sam and Nora had lied to him! Slappy, the Goodfeathers, Rita, Runt and the others never came to discuss a deal, and these people and possibly Mr. Wild and Steven were behind that clause. He could feel a ton of anger slowly coming out of him, not only because he was lied to, but also because he was foolish enough to believe them, which led him to falsely accuse his friends of terrible things they didn't commit and eventually hunt them. With that, he could no longer contain himself…

He started to trash all of the spot and the set, ripping apart the costumes that were laying there, and wrecking the set that was used. After that, he decided that the best thing was to confront the CEO and the president about it; however, he didn't have to go there, as he had made such a huge racket in the room, that when he went outside into the hallway, there were million of eyes from animators staring at him. Between these people there was Nora Rita Norita and Sam Register, and their shocked expressions said it all… He wasn't supposed to enter into that room. He slowly approached them in anger, until Nora gestured him to stop.

"Chicken Boo," she said, "I don't think we should discuss it in front of all these people, please follow us back into the meeting room". With that, Chicken Boo stopped and started walking following Nora and Sam, and that was after Nora yelled angrily at the animators to stop staring and go back to their jobs, to which they immediately obeyed.

When they went back into the room, the first thing Nora did was discuss something with Sam Register.

"Sam, what happened with that key I gave you to enter the room?!"

"I have dropped them somewhere… I just can't find them…"

With that, Chicken Boo clucked, which led them to turn around. He showed them the key, much to the relief of Sam Register, who started to head towards Chicken Boo to grab the key.

"Oh, thank God! Where did you…?"

However, before he could finish the sentence, Chicken Boo save the keys between his feathers, and demanded to know about the room before giving him the keys. Sam had no choice but to accept, as he knew Chicken Boo would probably not give him the key until he was told about it. With that, he gestured Nora to tell him.

"Well, now that you know about the room, I'm afraid I will have to confess to you about it…"

With that, Nora grabbed a seat and frustrated, she started to speak.

"You see, when you came to the studio, I was in fact dumbfounded that you were the first secondary character to come to discuss your possible return, but I eventually found out you could be useful. In fact, those recordings we showed you weren't exclusively made for you, and we made many different versions in case the other characters came, so they could do the same thing you did, take down the other characters so we wouldn't do it." With that, she started to smile maliciously. "I never permitted Wellesley or Gabe to allow the other characters to return and to instead replace them with new ones, as I saw them as lame and boring, especially that old squirrel, the cat and dog and YOU! I would never allow you to return to the reboot, especially considering that your segments were really repetitive!"

After saying all of that, she grabbed the contract and ripped it into shreds, all while Chicken Boo watched in horror. Indeed, he agreed his segments could get repetitive, and that was the other reason he wanted to return, so he could do something much better; however, he saw that it was all for nothing. However, that was what angered him the less. Nora lied to him so he could hunt the other characters, and worst of all, she planned it all along, as she hated the other characters and didn't give a damn about what the fans would say about it. That was enough to unleash his fury on both Nora and Sam, the latter because he was her accomplice. He immediately started chasing them in order to peck their heads, but before he could, he saw that Nora was calling Ralph to take him out of the studio, and surely, in a few minutes, Ralph grabbed him by the feathers and dragged him out onto the streets.

After all that panic, Sam came and said to Nora: "What should we do next? He's probably going to tell the police on us!"

Nora knew that the police might not believe Chicken Boo, yet she wasn't taking any chances; after a while, she saw something. Chicken Boo had left his backpack, which she remembered had the hunter costume he used, as he had brought it along with him to show it to them. With that, her evil smile just grew larger and larger, and after telling Sam about it, she told him to dial Wellesley Wild's phone number to discuss something so he could help him, which he did.

"Hello?" answered Wellesley Wild

"Hey, Mr. Wild, are you still planning to do the episode explaining what happened to the other characters?"

"Yes, why?"

"Because I have an idea for the plot! The rest you can come up with it!"
