Kogoro, Ran, Hakuba and Kaitou Kid in Shinichi disguise are now in the shinkansen on their way to Osaka. Ran already contact Heiji about them going to Osaka for something which Heiji happily let them stay on their house
"Ne Ki- I mean Kudou-kun… Are you sure letting Hattori Heiji involved?" asked Hakuba seems unsure about Kid for letting Heiji help them
"I'm sure, although he's not as great as this person I disguise. He is one of Tantei- I mean Conan-kun's closest friend. I'm sure he can help us" said Kaitou Kid with a serious look
The shinkansen arrive at their stop, Shin-Osaka. As they get off, they see both Heiji and Kazuha waiting for them. Kazuha hurriedly goes to Ran while Heiji seems looking around
"Oi neechan, where's Ku-Conan-kun?" asked Heiji looking around
"I'm sorry, but he's not coming with us" said someone behind Ran
Heiji look up, which shows Shinichi and Hakuba together
"Kudou?! Hakuba?!" shout Heiji to both of them
"What's going on?" asked Kazuha to Ran
Ran just give a sad smile which Kazuha notice on how painful Ran felt now. Kazuha notice that it seems it has something to do with Conan not here
"Did something happen to Conan-kun, Ran-chan?" asked Kazuha comforting her best friend
"Umm… But we can't talk here" said Ran to Kazuha and Heiji
"Ahh, let's go to your home first. We will tell you everything" said Kogoro serious
At Hattori's house
"WHAT?! HE WAS KIDNAPPED?!" shout shock by the revelation
"Not to mention, by the illusionist Gunter Von Goldberg II?" asked Kazuha didn't believe what she hears
"Ahh… Gunter Von Goldberg II or should I say, Spider. Take advantage of using my rival to kill me" said Kaitou Kid serious to him
Kazuha was shock, but she quickly hug Ran who hurt the most for losing his 'brother' not to mention he was trapped in the worst nightmare illusion. That revelation is too much for a child to bear
"So… Kudou Shinichi-kun let Kid use his identity to help us take Edogawa Conan back since Kid can't disguise just anyone" said Hakuba looking at Kid disguise as Shinichi
Heiji seems fishy since he is one of the people who know about the true identity of Kudou Shinichi. Kaitou Kid look at Heiji by his eyes that he will tell him everything later, so Heiji just get along with it.
"Tonight is the show, so we thought that it will be the best time to find Edogawa-kun now" said Hakuba telling their plan
"Okay, but I want to ask... why we can't let police involved?" asked Heiji seems confused
"Stupid, if we tell the police the situation and then they apprehend Gunter Von Goldberg II so easily. Who knows when we search for him, we just find him as a dead body instead" said Kaitou Kid serious
"D-dead?! Just how bad is this person?"
"Bad enough to kill me and of course Hakuba. I'm sure killing Tantei-kun is an easy thing to do for him since he is an assassin"
"That's why we have to be very careful" said Hakuba while putting back the files
After that Hakuba wants to go to toilet, Heiji ask Kid to go to his backyard alone leaving Ran, Kazuha and Kogoro inside the room. After that Heiji look at Kid with serious look and explanation
"I get to the point, you know that Kudou Shinichi really is, so I can't trick you like anyone else" said Kaitou Kid to Heiji
"Yes, but here's the point. You know that organization that Kudou is chasing now… is it the same as them?" asked Heiji seems very scared about this
"Don't worry Tantei-han… it's not the same as Tantei-kun's… in fact, this should be my fight but that bastard have to make Tantei-kun got into this mess…" said Kaitou Kid in anger while tighten his fist
"Your fight?"
"We each have our own secrets, Tantei-han… just like Tantei-kun who's keeping his secret from his girlfriend"
Heiji then give up and follow what the thief have to say for now in order to save his best friend from danger and also hope that illusionist didn't do something to him
Somewhere in Osaka
Slowly opening his eyes, Conan seems to be lost on where he is. He looked around only to find a table and chair. He looked to his body which to be strangled on the wall with some wires on his body, hands and feet
"You have awake Kid Killer…"
Conan looked to a little hallway shows three eyes mask man which to be Spider. Conan was stunned seeing his appearance and scared at the same time
"W…who" asked Conan trying to talk, but his mouth seems to be stunned
"My name is Spider… You are my ticket to complete one of my mission" said Spider with a sinister voice
Hearing his voice make Conan's body trembling for the first time. He never felt this kind of trembling since meeting one of the black organization member. Spider goes toward him and look at his eyes
"You have a beautiful blue eyes like an ocean… It's sad to see that I have to borrow those blue eyes" said Spider as he smirked
"Wh… Why" said Conan trembling
"You're a Kid Killer after all. My job is to kill him and I need you to help me kill him"
Spider then let out a red beam on his hand and look to Conan firmly
"Lend me your power again boy for the night… This time, you will remember everything" said Spider chuckling and then put his hand on Conan's eyes.
Conan tried to struggle but seconds later he became limp, Spider let go of his hand and see the spider tattoo on his left eye and then his eyes are now bloody red like that night fighting Kaitou Kid. Spider just laugh hysterically by his creation
"Next stop… Tsuuten Tower"
At Hattori's house
Heiji and Kid are waiting for Kazuha and Ran getting ready. Hakuba and Kogoro already waiting for them at the car
"Oh yeah Tantei-han, can you use this?" asked Kaitou Kid giving Heiji Conan's glasses
"Oi that's Kudou's glasses right?" asked Heiji taking it
"Ahh… That little girl from the professor gave it to me, can you use it?"
"I can, but what purpose to use this?"
"Are you really a detective? Tantei-kun was taken with his gadgets still on his body so in other words"
"His detective badge is also still in him" said Heiji now understands
"Bingo"
Both of them go to the car and look at the map. Heiji use the glasses to see where the tracking device is. Ran and Kazuha already in the car, but they are now confused on where to go until Heiji gave them the answer of their confusing thoughts
"Occhan, goes straight for 2 km" said Heiji told Kogoro to drive
"Eh ahh…" said Kogoro confused
"Where are we going Heiji?" asked Kazuha from behind
"To Ku-Conan himself of course" said Heiji smiling sinister
"Eh how did you know where he is?" asked Hakuba surprised
"Tantei-kun have a tracking glasses and I ask the one who make it to lend me one" said Kaitou Kid helping Heiji with the map
"Ahh I see! You track his detective badge, but are you sure he still has it?" asked Ran
"Yesterday he wears his usual clothes, not to mention when he shot me with a gun, he's still wearing all of his gadgets on him. So I'm sure Spider hasn't realized it"
Ran started to relief for a moment because now they can save Conan, Hakuba just stare at the two people who are focus on the tracking glasses and the map
"That boy is indeed a genius. Even when he's in trouble, he always finds a way to tell us how to find him… it is indeed scary" said Hakuba while folding his hands looking at the two people who's close to Conan himself
"That is why… he's my rival" said Kaitou Kid smirking to Hakuba
"And my partner" said Heiji just like Kaitou Kid who's smirking to Hakuba
Kazuha and Kogoro can only hear the detectives and thief talking about Conan. Ran on the other hand can't stop worrying about Conan. Kid and Hakuba did say about the illusion world is created to weaken mental state by giving the worst nightmare. She can't help to imagine how much pain Conan is right now since he did get kidnapped for two days
At Tsuuten Tower
All of them was about to going inside but suddenly stop by one of the staff
"Are you Hakuba Saguru?" asked the staff to Hakuba
"Ah yes I am..." said Hakuba to the staff
"We have been waiting for you"
"Eh?" asked all of them who surprised
Heiji, Hakuba and Kid face turn into serious because of the staff remark
"Why?" asked Hakuba still pressing to ask even though he knows
"Eh? Our client rent the whole main observation deck for your party"
All of them are surprised but Kid who dress as Shinichi take step near Hakuba
"Well then, we take your offer" said Kaitou Kid serious
"Oi Ki-I mean Kudou, are you sure? It's a trap" said Heiji whispering
"But it's confirmed that he is there… I was hoping for the ladies to stay here, but…"
Kazuha and Ran seems surprised by Kid's remark but Heiji and Hakuba know what he intends to do, especially with Ran
"You don't mean?" "You want to use her?!" asked both Heiji and Hakuba surprised
"I will tell you guys on the way so let's go"
The staff then take them to the lift and inside the lift with only six of them. Hakuba of course stare at Kid waiting for answer
"Now tell us, what are you thinking using this neechan?" asked Heiji while looking at Ran
"Eh? Me?" asked Ran surprise by Heiji's words
"Ahh… that night when Spider kidnapped him. I notice that Tantei-kun miss to shoot me" said Kaitou Kid serious
"Missed? That expected right since he just a grade schooler" said Kogoro seems confused by Kid's words
"No… Edogawa Conan-kun shouldn't have missed…" said Hakuba seems to understand
"Hah?! What do you mean?" asked Kazuha in confused
"Ahou! Did you forget that brat is a soccer player? Soccer player is great at shooting balls so in other words" said Heiji while looking at Hakuba
"As of that, his range of shooting should be better than other normal kids at his age" said Hakuba helping Heiji with the deduction
"Not to mention, in every heist, He always let out that overpowered soccer ball to me in great precision so that means his precision on shooting is the same range as adults" said Kaitou Kid ending their deduction
Ran, Kazuha and Kogoro are impressed by their deduction and also surprised by Conan's skill on shooting, which to be acknowledged by them. Well, Kaitou Kid and Heiji actually know the real reason of why Conan or Kudou Shinichi is great at shooting. The remaining question is why he missed the shoot
"That night, Spider order him to finish me so if I were Tantei-kun, I will shoot right into my heart, but he shot on my thigh. At that time, Ran-san here call him" said Kaitou Kid looking at Ran
"In other words, Edogawa Conan respond to Mouri-san's voice and the only way to make him out from that illusion is using her" said Hakuba looking at Ran
"Exactly, the plan is simple but also risky. Hakuba and I will try our best to distract Spider while the rest of you take care Ku-Conan-kun" said Heiji to Kogoro, Kazuha and Ran
"But what happen if he has that gun?!" shout Kogoro
"Mouri-san, you are a former police officer, so you should know about gun very well. I'm sure you can work on something. Don't forget to protect the ladies, I'm sure that Tantei-kun target is me so while I dodge the bullets, please do something" said Kaitou Kid serious to Kogoro
At the same time, the lift stop right at the main observation deck. All of them go out the lift which lights were off. They are standby protecting each other if something happen, but suddenly they heard a clapping hands. They look to the source of the voice which to be the assassin they are looking for, Spider
"Spider!" shout Hakuba in anger
"Oohh, I see you bought the Osaka Detective… hm! What a useless move"
"What did you say you red eyes freak!" shout Heiji in anger
"Oi Hattori, calm down" said Kaitou Kid
"Drop the act, I know you are Kaitou Kid" said Spider looking at Kaitou Kid disguise as Shinichi
Suddenly they heard a gunshot, but they can't find the source because the sound is too low. Just then, another gunshot explodes, but this time goes right into Kid's arm
"Akh!" shout Kaitou Kid while holding his arm
"Oi!" said Kogoro bend down helping him
Hakuba and Heiji look around and they found it, Edogawa Conan with red bloody eyes and spider tattoo on his left eye standing by the window of the Tsuuten Tower holding a gun toward Kaitou Kid. Kazuha, Ran and Kogoro hold their breath because Conan's look not only he's very pale, but they never see how sinister his look now. They will not believe that it is really Conan in front of them
"Don't worry, I only order him to attack Kaitou Kid while the rest of you are not worthy to be killed" said Spider in playful voice which irritated Heiji and Hakuba
"Occhan… take care of Ku-Conan-kun" said Heiji to Kogoro
Both Hakuba and Heiji dash toward Spider and follow him to where he's going leaving Kogoro, Ran, Kazuha and injured Kid fighting with the hypnotize boy
Spider stop and then make the two detectives float, Heiji was surprised for a second until he noticed the chords above him, so he quickly cut it with the little knife that he bought. He also let out his sword that he bring from his home
"I have prepared for this, you need to pay for making my best friend into a puppet!" shout Heiji in anger
"Hot head as usual this Osaka Detective" thought Hakuba looking at Heiji in sinister look
On the other side
Conan still pointing his gun to Kaitou Kid without talking
"That gun is Walther PPK with total eight bullets inside" thought Kogoro while looking at the gun
Kid uses his card gun trying to make Conan move away, so he can catch him, but Conan seems didn't budge or shoot any bullet, he only glared at Kogoro and Kid, he doesn't even look at the two ladies especially Ran
"Conan-kun…" said Ran to the boy
Her voice seems to be didn't reach to the boy yet. Kid look at him seriously and observing on the child under that illusion. Suddenly an idea pop into his head, he quickly shot the sprinkler with his card gun. The sprinkler let out water right onto the boy and everywhere around it, suddenly an invisible machine exploded right beside Conan
Conan shoot Kaitou Kid who is now far from the three, but the thief dodge the bullets properly. Ran and Kazuha want to stop Conan but Kogoro hold them and protect them from the bullets while counting how many shoots that Conan release
"Dad?" asked Ran surprised
"Ran… After this, make sure to hold that brat" said Kogoro serious
The eight bullet flies and dodge by Kaitou Kid, Kogoro start to run to Conan before he could unload his gun, Kogoro hold his hands with force and quickly take the gun from his hand and throw it away. After that, Conan struggling to let go from Kogoro's hand who are still holding him
"Ran! Hurry and snap him out!" shout Kogoro to his daughter
Ran quickly goes toward him and gently brush his hair while crying. Kid take Conan's gun and then run to help Heiji and Hakuba fighting Spider
"Conan-kun… please come back… Conan-kun!" shout Ran to his ears
Suddenly Conan stop struggling from Kogoro, but he's still holding the boy's hands and Kazuha hold his feet. Ran hold his face and look at his bloody eyes. Ran can see emptiness and also frighten on that eyes
"It's working… the brat is hearing Ran's voice" said Kogoro in low voice
"Ran-chan…" said Kazuha praying for her friend to succeed save the young boy that she thought as her little brother
Kogoro and Ran notice that Conan's eyes are changing from red to blue repeatable. It looks like Conan is struggling to come back to reality
"Conan-kun, you can do it! Please come back" shout Ran while holding Conan's head and praying
"A…a… Ran… neechan…"
Kogoro and Kazuha look at Conan seems to be finally talking.
"Oi brat! Snap out of it!" shout Kogoro start to worry
"Conan-kun!" shout Kazuha worried
"H..help…" said Conan under his breath
Suddenly a realization come to Kogoro, right now Conan is under an illusion of his nightmare, so now he's struggling on fighting it. Right now, his mental is really been played by that illusionist
"Stupid!" shout Spider while laughing
Heiji, Hakuba and Kid are thrown away into near the three who's holding Conan
"Heiji!" shout Kazuha to Heiji immediately
"This guy… is too fast" said Heiji in anger while wiping his blood
"HAHAHAHA you are messing with me after all, I see you are trying to wake up that little boy" said Spider while looking that both Kogoro and Ran are holding Conan
"You devil! Why would you even involve him, he has no rights to be in our battle" shout Kaitou Kid in anger
"Really? And here I thought he was your accomplice for every heist" said Spider
"What?"
"Hm! That kid always there in your heist, especially big jewels. Yet he always let you go"
Spider walk towards Kogoro and Ran which make Kogoro stand up and on guard but suddenly Kogoro, Kazuha and Ran flew to up which make Ran let go of Conan. Kid hurried cut the chords using his card gun to let them go, but Spider already have Conan on his arms
"He's too smart for his age which make a perfect accomplice" said Spider looking at the boy who seems to look empty in his eyes
"HE'S NOT! HE'S MY RIVAL WHO ALWAYS TRY TO STOP ME, he even stopped me using his soccer balls so that I can get caught by the police" shout Kaitou Kid
"I see, so I have been getting wrong information… but…"
Spider let out a red beam from his hands and then put it on Conan's eyes. Suddenly, seconds later, Conan was screaming painfully. Kazuha squeeze her hand on Heiji's clothes, Ran tighten her fist and Kogoro, Hakuba, Heiji and Kid glare at Spider in disgust
"Conan-kun!" shout Ran to Conan
"H…help… Ran…" said Conan between his screams and breathing heavily
Spider smile and then turn on the red beam again, but this time make Conan limp and unconscious
"I can't help to have fun making this boy suffer, his cries of pain are very delicious. Oh, I see he's crying now" said Spider while look at his soaked gloves on the boy's eyes
All of them glare at him, one word that all of them agreed by looking at the assassin, a monster. Neither of them ever heard that Conan scream. The boy never let out a scream so painfully like that. Even when he was shot.
"Just what he ever did to you! Your target is me, so let me suffer and not him" shout Kaitou Kid clenching his fists
"Which is why I'm doing this" said Spider grinning
"Eh?"
Spider then let out his hands from the boy's eyes, which they notice that there is no spider tattoo on his eyes anymore. He now seems to be asleep and then Spider trap him on the window using the chords
"You even come here even though you know it's a trap. Not to mention, getting help from London Detective as well. It is certain that this boy is precious to you huh" said Spider while holding Conan's chin
"What are you trying to say…" said Kaitou Kid standing up
Spider hold Conan's neck and the next thing Conan eyes opens and then he let out blood from his mouth.
"By killing him, I'm sure you will regret it for the rest of your life"
"No!" shout Ran
Conan weakly look at Ran, Kogoro, Heiji, Kazuha, Hakuba and Kid. He looked at Spider again, who seems to be focus more on Kid rather than him, so he's trying his best to move his arms to his belt. Kid notice Conan's behavior and quickly point his card gun to Spider
"Ohoho you think that toy of yours can defeated me?" asked Spider who seems amused
"No it will not" said Kaitou Kid serious
"Then how can you stop me?"
"I won't but he will"
Kid shot his card right into the chords where Conan is held, Conan let out his soccer ball which make Spider let go of his hand from his neck. Ran quickly run toward Conan while Hakuba and Kid goes to Spider. Spider quickly dodge all of their attacks, but both detective and thief are not giving up. Conan on the other hand goes unconscious immediately after Ran catch him
"Conan-kun! Hang in there Conan-kun!" shout Ran while holding Conan's body
Kogoro, Kazuha and Heiji dash toward the boy and Kogoro held his hand to see his condition
"He's very weak… Ran lie him down" said Kogoro while taking off his coat and put it on the floor for the boy
Spider facing the two boys in front of him but then let out a chuckle
"You guys have been trapped" said Spider while snap his hands
Suddenly, Conan eyes turn into bloody red again and have spider tattoo again. He held his head in pain and start screaming painfully like when Spider hold his eyes
"Conan-kun!" said Ran can't take his brother in pain like this
"Oi Ku-Conan, hang in there!" shout Heiji who hold Conan's shoulders
"Hm? He's resisting?" thought Spider looking at the boy's suffering
Kid and Hakuba look at Conan who's screaming and then glare at Spider. Suddenly, Kid noticed a little red chip on his right palm under the gloves. He remembered that he use that hand to Conan's eyes on that night and just now, he looked closely and then look at the boy who screaming and notice the same red chip on his glasses
"Tantei-han! Broke Tantei-kun's glasses now!" shout Kaitou Kid to the back
Heiji quickly take Conan's glasses off and smash it to the ground with his feet. Conan stop screaming and his eyes turn back to normal blue eyes, but he became unconscious after that. Ran and Kogoro called him but when they check it seems he's breathing normally. Spider was surprised by that just happened
"You are finish Spider" said Hakuba in anger
"HAHAHAHAHHA not until I get my chance to kill you Kaitou Kid" said Spider who snap his fingers and disappear right away
"Wait Spider!"
Hakuba tried to run to catch him, but he failed. Spider already escape and gone now
"Cih, he got away" said Kaitou Kid angrily
Both of them comeback and see how Conan is doing. Ran is holding the unconscious boy and hug him in relief because they finally save him. Though Kid and Hakuba seems unsure that can they call this a safe or not
"There's more of this huh?" asked Heiji to the two people
"Ah… we finally get Edogawa Conan back, but the question is that" said Hakuba while looking at the boy
"Did we really get him back or not…" said Kaitou Kid in worried
All of them look at the unconscious boy in Ran's arm in worried
