Battle Of San Francisco
To get a better information of the "Battle Of San Francisco" military operation. We recommend the book "The Day We stood." that has been written from
perspective of US armies during the fight, however our book will mainly focusing on Tokino Sora and Yujin A' roles during the battle instead.
Since the explorer ship is gone, Hoshimachi Suisei have only one option left.
She couldn't build an armies or cured her crews without genetic chamber, her artificial sun's power is also running low. She has only choice left, finding power
for her ship.
Sun is too far to be an option, Suisei need something nearer instead.
Earth's inner core has enough power for her entire ship to refuel and create another wormhole to the sun, with that much of power, she might be able to help
her remaining soldier to survived.
Suisei's new empire could wait until her crews were alive and well.
The reason why Suisei didn't tried to follow Sora is quite simple. After the whole fights and struggles, only few of them could still stand.
Much less of trying to follows and kill their enemy.
The artificial sun is growing weaker and weaker, and our solar system sun, while still have an nourishment.
After getting blocked by Earth's Magnetic field, simply wasn't enough for star people who used to take full radiation from their biodome.
Unlike genetic engineering Tokino Sora. They couldn't be survived just by bathing sunlight.
However, by taking the Earth core's power, the action will cause a similar affect as when earth core is gone.
Aside from losing Earth magnetic field and that Earth will stop rotating, leaving the full radiation from sun to fall on our head.
You could looks for a scientist theory about what would happened If our planet's core is gone for further detail, but we can conclude that.
"It won't end well for us."
Suisei's plan is simple enough, she will find a right place for digging to reached earth core. Shield her operation progressing place with the Electromagnetic
field so there won't be an surprised attack, and that place happen to be a San Francisco city.
US government knows where she will operated when there was spaceship sighting around the city, and they are ready.
Thanks to Tokino Sora, who gave them a possible attack target by Azki calculation. The fleets of one aircraft carrier, four destroyers and two battle cruisers
are already waiting near the golden gate bridge.
When Suisei's ship found the target, a perfect place to start digging for earth core energy that's locate in the middle of city.
She orders the crews to create the electromagnetic barrier that covering estimated length for 40 kilometers around her cruiser ship.
Before start digging with heat ray, directly from her ship's artificial sun.
Lot of citizens get stuck within barrier but they are unable to do anything, except for trying to hide under earthquake bunker, in hope of surviving an attack.
Tokino Sora plan to counterattack is also simple, while US military will throw everything they have at Suisei's barrier, trying to weaken it.
Sora will trying to destroy the barrier with the strongest attack she has, and then whoever that can still keep going will put Sora's crystal that has Azki's code
inside it at the spaceship control panel, Forcing it to create wormhole with the last amount of energy that still left inside the spacecraft.
Making the spacecraft to go for one way trip before the ship's power run out and stuck in wherever Azki set as a destination.
It was not a perfect plan, but they don't have time to discussing more. Since the investigater calculate that with this amount of heat power,
Suisei's ship could digging to the earth core in less than twelves hour and there is no other ways to break the barrier.
The other countries. While willing to support, simply have no way in helping except from sending their ICBM To supporting the attack. Since their scientists
were still unsuccessfully trying to figured out how to break the barrier too.
The major problem is. Those who can operate "cover" triangle crystal must be accept as a star people legacy, however, except from Sora.
There are no star people descent to help them operate the crystal. Sora is not so sure that she could break the barrier, fight remaining star people and
operate crystal at the same time.
Thankfully the problem has solved itself when A chan who happened to be in the planning room as Sora insisted. Picking the blue crystal up and it was
shining, accept her as a star people legacy.
"Suddenly, I have to involve in whatever the fight their plan is." A chan concluded in "My Otherworldly Friend"
We don't know the reason behind this. Maybe Azki has set it for Sora's most trusted human friend in order to help her fighting.
Or more likely, the living crystal has chosen A chan with some unknown reason, as we already have evidences of those who has accepted as star people
despite have nothing in relate with them.
Whatever is the reason behind it. A chan was include in the plan
She will ride V-22 osprey along with the special forces after Sora break the barrier, in order to operate the Suisei's cruiser ship wormhole.
Joint Operation start
When the attack start, twelves F-16 fighter jets flying at the Hoshimachi Suisei ship.
Since the barrier is invisible and unable to detect by the radar. They have to guessed the range before start attacking, if they don't want to crashes with
invisible barrier and lost valuable pilot.
So, at first, they use some Drones to flying at the front line as a cannon fodder, until they can finally estimates the Electromagnetic field range.
The fighters start shooting missiles at the ship. But all of them being bounced back at them by the magnetic field. Some plane unable to react quick enough
and get hit by their own weapon. Some pilots can dodged, but the missiles still goes on, wrecking the city and citizens who unable to evacuated in time.
As one surviving pilot recalled later "It was like we were destroyed our own city, instead of them aliens."
One of generals recalled that Naval guns and Tomahawk missiles have a similar effect. "They bounce off and hit everything in their ways from the building to
our army. Not even a single one go near the alien ship.
To be honest, if the barrier still lit. I don't think we can do anything except using nuclear weapons, which I suspect will not work either."
"Just imagine nuclear bomb bounces back at our army's face! It must be the most ironic moment in military history.

During the military's futile effort to destroy the barrier. Tokino Sora is flying higher and higher up until she gets out of Earth's atmosphere.
Finally, she can see the sun without earth magnetic field that shielded parts of radiation from her body. It was almost the same type of power that her star
people ancestor used to take. Sora's genetic engineering cells are almost bursting by the amount of power it could absorb, but she endured it.
Trying to get as much power as possible for the task she is about to do.
After a while, Sora get enough power. Her body is shining a blue light that is too bright for human naked eyes (luckily, we can safety see this progression
footage from internet linking satellite that happened to be around there.)
Sora then flight back to earth with supersonic speed. She was so fast that our camera almost unable to records, before shooting heat ray from her entire
body.
The laser hit the barrier but didn't break it, everyone that have TV could see the kilometers of blue beam shooting from the space at the Suisei's spaceship.
But cannot get through the last 40 kilometers of electromagnetic field ranges.
Nevertheless, Tokino Sora keep going faster and faster, using her own body as a weapon like meteor crashing earth.
When Sora's body hit the barrier. She creates a shockwave that can be feel by the soldier who stood hundreds of kilometers away from her.
"It's like I was getting stomp by an elephant!" One soldier exclaimed.
He look around and see that everyone seems to being pushed back by some invisible force like him.
"Not sure what happening. But all of us saw alien ship getting hit by something hard enough to create a big hole inside it.
We 're cheered and the commander said {Fire at will. Repeat! Fire at will.}".
The ship starting to fall and crash at the building nearby, so the soldiers assuming that its barrier must have been destroyed, all of them start shooting to
clear surviving star people out of A chan keys operation with their artillery guns and missiles.
Note: This part of the story coming out of Sora's mouth during her drunk 'Truth or Dare' game with A chan after the dramatic movie night.

Tokino Sora
Sora burst into the spaceship as she is trying to put a hole in it. But the Electromagnetic field slowing her attacks as she is crashing against the spaceship
walls.
The force almost knocking Sora out, but she quickly regain her conciousness and shooting laser at the spaceship, trying to break through its protection.
The cruiser ship door suddenly open as billions of nanomachines start pouring out and flying at Sora like a space amoeba. It is the star people's jack of all
trade machine.
Useful for cleaning their body, presenting a pictures or as a ship defender.
Star people flying away as fast as she can, using heat rays from her body to destroys the following machines, but there are too many of them.
After a brief of high speed chasing, the nanomachines finally wrapped themselves around Sora's body like a tentacles, pouring into her face, mouth, nose and
ears. Burning her body from the inside.
Sora then using her nuclear pulse from the reactor core inside her body, blowing up every machines in her body and those that are in the explosive radius.
The remaining machines pulled back for a moment, giving Sora time to flying away from it.
Sora is so relieved that she didn't look at where she is flying, toward the heat rays from artificial sun that still burning a hole toward earth core.
The burning ray struck her like a lightning as Tokino Sora is being push downward, by the amount of energy that could turn metal into ashes within a second.

Sora open her eyes again, but the burning ray keep making her blinds. She used her own hand to block the light but surprises when seeing that she can see
through it.
Her flesh is almost being burned away by the heat ray right now. Sora is trying get up but it was impossible. All she can do is falling and falling again until she
is gone along with this planet. Her mind start drifting again as she close her eyes and let the memory flooded in.
" You monster!" Someone who used to be her friend yelled, throwing a rock at Sora face despites the fact that she just use her beam to saving that person's
life.
"I always knows that there's something is wrong with you. " The word itself is hurting more than any kind of action human will ever done to her.
Sora couldn't even feel the rock that hitting her cheek as she walking away, lying to herself that it is just a word, it couldn't hurt her. As like everything.

US military General's cold eyes looks at Tokino Sora during the meeting before this battle . He didn't see the seventeen years old girl who stand uncertain in
front of him.
He saw only a monster, something he couldn't understand.

Suisei whispered softly as star people scientist sucking blood out of Sora body during the time of her captive after the battle of Honolulu.
"You will be alone forever, Sora. No matter how much have you done for them. They will fear you. Seeing you as something dangerous.
Something they couldn't controlled.
And you are not one of us either. You are just a criminal's lab subjects, who grows up on this uncivilized planet.
You has come to this world alone and you will die alone. It is as certain as how the sun move."
Sora hand starting to fall. It is true, everybody is right. She is just a monster. Nothing will changed no matter how much she tried.
So why shouldn't she just given up here? It wasn't change anything anyway.

Hologram of Yagoo talkng with her. His voice is serious, but gentle. "Remember, Sora. The last gifts from us is that you can choose.
Do your best at whatever you want and don't give up because other people says so. That's all I and my wife will ask from you."
Sora hands clutching into a fists, her falling is starting to slow down.

" You are not a monster, Sora. Just a very specials girl." Her adoptive parents hugging her as Sora is crying and asked if she is a monster like other girls say.
"You are good girl. Like the time when you stopped that truck from crashing those kittens. A monster won't do something like that." Her adoptive father
gently patting her head, calming his daughter down.

A chan hugging Sora neck as she laughed drunkenly at the bar after their trips in Mojave Desert. "You knows what? Blue goddess aren't that bad after all.
From now on you are my best friend for life. If you have nowhere to go just come to my house. It will always open for you. "
Tokino Sora stop falling completely. She dare looks up against the burning ray from artificial run that keeps biting into her fleshes.

Little girl look up with an awe as Sora carrying her mother from the burning apartment. "Ms. Angel. Thank you!"

One teenager who let his purposal ring falling in the sewer by mistake crying and hugging Sora, despites the fact that she is covered by filths from retrieving
it back to him after hearing his story. "Thank you! Whoever you are. You are the nicest person I ever met. Don't let anybody say otherwise!"
" You are not one of us, Sora." Azki said before their final departs. "Because you are better than all of us combine. Star people are the past, you are the
future. Please lead your world away from making the mistake that we all did."
Tokino Sora flying high and higher up with full speed, toward the rising artificial sun that trying to burned her away.
" I AM NOT ALONEEE!" Star people screamed, not sure who she is talking with. Herself, the enemies or the entire universe as Sora is crashing into
whatever the hell they can throws at her face.

Back To The Reliable Source
What exactly happen with Tokino Sora during her diving to the cruiser ship is not clear. We know that she crashed through half of the ship body, cutting line
from artificial sun and main control room by mistake or pure luck. Making the ship starting to falls from sky while the humans weapons reaching the cruiser's
body at last.
Most of star people were too sick to be running away and just being trapped in their own ship to the ultimate demised, some who strong enough to run away
are getting knocked down by the rocket or bombing shells from US military that aims at them.
Frankly, they weren't dying by an attack itself, but rather by lack of energy and suffocating from alien air that are too strange for their already weaken lung to
breath.
Since they don't have time to wear the protection suit, or that's what their autopsied bodies told us.
However, one still stood. Hoshimachi Suisei is strong enough to still alive without her protection suit. According to the "My Otherworldly friend."
Suisei "Screaming with an inhuman sound while swing an axe at Sora ,who barely dodge it, causing the entire wall to collapse. "
Lucky for Sira, that room happened to be a weapon store.
She grabbed the first weapon that laying nearby, it was a sword that look similar to human katana but thousands time stronger.
Now it's one on one, and both have weapon.
After a short silences, Sora and Suisei then running at each other within the blink of an eyes, causing everything around them to shattered with their speed
movement and sheer power.
Their weapon crashed, creating a shockwave that send them both flying aways for kilometers through the cruiser's wall. Their fight is just about to start.

A chan osprey flying towards the cruiser that lying on ground.
First drone that come nearby as a tester get destroyed immediately, but after multiple hits from missiles and bombs, there were almost no struggling from
the alien ship.
Nevertheless, six ospreys were sent to circling around the ship to make sure that there will be no surprise attack before A chan's osprey finally landing next to
fallen spacecraft.
The special forces leading A chan inside the big hole that seem to burst from inside of the cruiser.
Inside the ship is dark but A chan seems to know where the control room are by memory of her time at Mojave Desert's explorer ship.
"I told them the panel must be at the middle of the ship and we were moving really fast to the room, we found some of the aliens lying on the floor,
but they didn't move and we quickly running past them." A chan recalled the event.
"Finally we found the room, but part of it get destroyed so much that I am not sure if anything will happen when I put the crystal in the panel " Good for
them, while half of the energy line has been cut during Sora's attack. There are enough power to create the wormhole, even if a little bit longer than usual.
Everything seem to go according to plan, suddenly the door open and one of the alien start attacking them.
"Everything is happened really fast. I heard the gunshot and screaming, suddenly an alien is in the room with us. It was the pink hair one, If I remember
correctly" A chan shuddered by her memory, even if it's happened decades ago.
Despite in a weak condition, star people still beat the special forces up very quickly. "Of course, they were shooting at her. But she seems to not noticing the
bullet that hitting her body and just kick or punching the shooter with bare hand, just one blow is enough to kill a man." A chan shuddered ahain.
"One soldier picked hand grenades up tells me to run away while he is trying to slow her down. So I run, hearing the explosion behind me,
but l never looking back until I get out of that ship."
When A chan finally get out. The ship start floating again, ready for the wormhole progession
"The light were coming from the ship and I figured out that I must run, or being stuck with the ship wherever it was going." A chan told her daughter in
"My Otherworldly friend."

Meanwhile, Tokino Sora and Hoshimachi Suisei were having a fight that shook the sky. Their weapon clash with so much speed that human couldn't see with
naked eyes.
Each blow creates a shockwave that people can feel despites many kilometers distance.
Finally,they've separated long enough to charge the special attack at each other. Suisei's axe creating the golden lightning that could destroy multiple building
in one blow, while Sora strikes back with a blue slashing energy wave from her sword that could cut almost everything we ever knows in its way.
Their attack met, and became a beam clashing that both trying to put all of their power into it. As an attempt to overcome each other.
Finally, both of their weapon burst by too much energy that being put in. Causing the big explosion that that knock Sora from the sky , her body crashed
through multiple building, making them to collapsed by accident.
Sora was trying to get up, but Suisei is already attacking again. Stomping her face on the ground, trying to crush Sora's skull with her feet.
Tokino Sora punched at one of Hoshimachi Suisei's leg with full force. Creating a terrible cracking sound that could be heard by survivor that hiding in
underground bunker nearby.
Sora then get up while Suisei's still trying to regain her balance and use uppercut punching that send the star people marshal flying in the sky.
Sora quckly flying at her enemy,dodging Suisei's deadly blows that aiming for her head and punching star people marshal in her stomach.
Knocking Suisei's body through 24 buildings in less than 5 seconds.
Sora follows with her super sonic speed and punch Suisei's jaw, sending her through multiple buildings again. But when she is flying to finishes her
enemy,Suisei grabbed Sora's leg by surprised and swinging her body, creating a small tornado in the middle of San Francisco before throwing Tokino Sora in
the sky.
Estimate range from the footage suggest that Sora has been throwing higher up more than 20 kilometers,out of our recording equipment range.
What happen after that it's kinda tricky. Suisei follow Sora into the air and they fighting again. Out of our camera range, so we cannot give you much of the
detail of what happening between them.
But at one point, Sora and Suisei came out of the cloud and crashing each other again. This time Sora gets an upper hand, her crash sent Suisei flying out of
earth's atmosphere and destroying one satellite in the progress .
But the surviving star people is not giving up and flight back at her. This time their clash sent both falling from the sky like a shooting star.
Record from remaining satellite's camera showing us that Suisei's hands were wrapping around Sora's neck during their falls.
The crashed make parts of city collapsed with the impacts from the time Sora and Suisei's body hitting earth's surface
The debris and dust that floating in the sky make it impossible to capture what was happening afterword.
While the investigator found her broken axe that now laid in the New San Francisco Museum for any visitors to see.
They never find Hoshimachi Suisei's body and Tokino Sora never tell everyone, not even A chan about what happened after the crashed.
Some guessing that the high temperature from the falls may destroyed her entire bodies. But it's unlikely since Sora appear to be unscathed by the same fall.
Other thinks Sora killed Suisei shortly after the falls and then bury her in some unknow place. As some sort of respect for the last of her own kind.
What we can be sure is this. After the crash, Hoshimachi Suisei is gone and never be found again. Not even after we know more about her name and story
enough to write this book.
If she were alive, then she is very good at hiding and never showing up again.
Which is very unlikely from all we know about her personality
She is an easy to angry person who, didn't have any reason to like human after we (presumably) killed all of her crews.
If Suisei is still alive, she probably took the revenge on us by now.
So the possibility of her surviving is very low.

At the remaining of Suisei's ship. A chan was trying to run away, but the wormhole is starting too fast.
We later know that Azki set the ship destination at the black holes.
Probably in hope to suck all of star people for an eternity.
But contrasting effect is, it also taking parts of the world with the ship. A big chunk of San Francisco near the wormhole has been sucked inside it and never
be found again.
Not to mention about the casualties and destruction from that incident.
A chan almost became one of them. "'Before I know it. My body was being suck to the wormhole. I was screaming when Sorra rushes in and carried me."
Luckily for both, Tokino Sora is strong enough to flight from the gravity pulling of the black hole, saving two girls from being suck inside for eternity.
Even if she admitted to A chan later that "It was the hardest flight in my life…Never want to do something that ever again."
A chan was very surprised when they were looking back at the destruction after the gate has been closed.
"It was like a giant meteorite crater pits happen while I wasn't looking." A chan recalled the event.
"The building, spaceship, military vehicles. Everything is gone, leaving only a big hole like the one on the moon behind."

There is no big cheering after the victory. However, humanity win against the first alien's invasion in history. The casualties and destruction levels are off the
chart.
But there are still some good news. US government have found the fallen spaceship in Mojave Desert. Even if Sora has destroyed parts of it, maybe they can
still learn and using the alien technologies to the point of next science revolution in human history.
Maybe this is time for humanity to thrive among the stars too, not just looking at their sky with an awe like what they did for thousands of years
However, knowing that they might meet with another hostile alien attacking again. The world looks at the sky with new kind of horror, but there is a hope too.
If there are bad alien out there. Then it must be a good one too, or at least we already found one.
Public opinion on Tokino Sora can be break into two big groups.
One who likes her, thinking that she is some kind of savior send from another planet to save humanity from its destructive path.
Or at least like her enough to not complain with unpreventable casualties when she was trying to save people of San Francisco and Honolulu.
Other is hating her for lack of professional and immature act. Because with that much of power she could "Lure star people out of cities range during their
fights" or "Stop the alien attack before it's even start" which is an opinion that we will not interfered.
What we cannot denied is, without Sora. we were unable to protecting ourselves against the star people attack and will likely be extinct by now.
If it happens again in the future, keeping companion like Tokino Sora with humanity might be the best protection against any hostiles alien we might
encountered in the future.
We won't denied that by open the ship at Mojave Desert. Sora is indirectly responsible for causing the mass destruction that came after.
But what's done is done. And there is no guarantee that Suisei's ship will not detect the earth without Sora sending a signal too.
So maybe we can somewhat forgive her for that. Either ways, Tokino Sora seems to not thinking too much about these opinions.
She starts living in nomad lifestyle again. Traveling around the world and saving people, only going back to A chan house at least once a week to enjoy her
friend's companionship.
The irony is that. It is really hard to locate Tokino Sora location after "Blue goddess" styles fashion is starting to popular with the news about her spreading
around the globe, making it hard to know who is real one.
There is even one record of Tokino Sora secretly joining her own parade in Mexico. Where everyone dresses in blue and celebrate at how "Blue Goddess" save
them all from mass extinction.

Sora life's story is still far from conclusion. She will have to meet an hostilities act from both human and alien, for every person who look at her with an awe.
There will be two people who look at her with fears and jealousy, at something they couldn't control or understand.
But we will leave our heroine's story here for a while, in the most peaceful moments in her life.
At a time when Tokino Sora finally finding her own people.
