Godzilla: Ruler of Titans

5 years after Godzilla and Kong destroyed Mechagodzilla, Godzilla returned to the depths of the sea, and Kong returned to the Hollow Earth, everything seemed peaceful, until Godzilla emerged and awakens the Titans, little to the Alpha Titan's knowledge also came the arrival of many more monsters awakening from their slumber, Godzilla has to defend his throne as Alpha.

6. Chapter 5, Bunyip

Queensland, Australia

Wandering through a savanna was the odd-looking Titan, Bunyip, Bunyip was an oddity, the creature had a very noticeable musculature, with four legs, the front legs being muscular and powerful, Bunyip's overall appearance was like that of a hippo or a rhino, with the creature's head sharing most of the hippo-like aspects. Bunyip had four long dark brown claws that are used for digging into Titan dens to go for unborn eggs and newborn Titans, Bunyip had muscular jaws that could crush the bones of almost any Titan that dared to cross Bunyip lined with large and intimidating teeth and tusks. Bunyip's posture was similar to that of a hyena, with his back sloping downwards. Bunyip's back was covered in a thick brown mane.

Bunyip wandered through his territory, he sensed something large moving through the heart of his territory, and he had to make sure they didn't try to challenge him for the territory.

The four legged beast went into a trot as he surveyed the area, many animals ran away from the Titan, stopping near the outskirts of a city, Bunyip lowered down to a pool of blue liquid on the ground, the liquid seemed to bubble up and gurgle, the Titan lowered his head to the liquid and sniffed it, it smelled sweet and it was definitely radiation and blood, Bunyip then scooped a huge portion of the liquid with his gigantic tongue and scooped it into his gaping mouth, swallowing it down.

Perking up, the mammalian Titan glanced around, his hippo-like ears twitching, Bunyip raised his gigantic head to the heavens and sniffed, the Titan catching a scent in the air, and it was close, wasting no time, Bunyip trotted off in the direction of the scent.

Coming to a stop near the outskirts of another city, the four legged Titan arrived at a beach that was surprisingly empty, Bunyip let out a guttural growl in the back of his throat and looked around, Bunyip then caught something from the corner of his eye and was about to turn around, before feeling some jagged clamp around the back of his neck, Bunyip let out a roar of pain and anger.

A bite to the back of the neck would normally be a death for weaker Titans, but Bunyip withstood it with ease, Bunyip quickly flipped over and rolled onto his back, crushing whatever was attacking under his weight, getting to his feet, he faced the unseen creature.

Baring his teeth as his ears folded back, the creature then stood up, the creature was absolutely odd, it had two large ear-like appendages coming from its head and it had muscular arms with lime green wings, the creature had a bright blue glow emanating from its mouth, the creature's head had golden yellow eyes with no signs of pupils.

Bunyip's nostrils flared as he scraped the dirt with his claws, the creature let out a grating hiss as its ear-like appendages twitched.

The creature's eyes narrowed as Bunyip's eyes did as well, the two gigantic beasts began to approach each other, before the odd-looking creature made the first move.

The creature lunged forward, swinging it's curved claws at Bunyip, the latter dodged the former's attack with ease, the claws barely skimming the Titan's tough hide, Bunyip then bashed the creature in the jaw with its head, the winged creature let out a cry of pain as a spray of the blue liquid squirted out of its mouth.

Angered, the creature lunged forward once again, jaws wide open, the creature snapped its crocodilian jaws at Bunyip who ducked under the beast's jaws, the creature's jaws snapped close, completely missing the Titan, Bunyip then headbutted the winged creature in the stomach knocking it backwards, the creature tumbled across the ground, the beast righted itself and dug its claws into the ground, skidding to a stop as dust and dirt flied.

Bunyip's nostrils flared once again as he grunted, the creature reared its head back and let out an otherworldly roar to the heavens, spreading its wings and a flap, it took off into the air.

Flapping its wings, the winged creature soared above Bunyip, the mammalian Titan looked up at the winged beast as it looked down at Bunyip.

Tucking in its wings, the creature dove towards Bunyip, cutting through the air with ease.

Bunyip took a defensive stance and lowered down, curling its claws as the creature opened it's maw, the blue glow shining bright for its mouth.

Bunyip lived long enough to know how to combat aerial Titans.

As the odd-looking creature headed towards Bunyip, Bunyip rose onto his hind legs and swung his hippo-like head, the top of his skull connecting with the creature's jaw, a squirt of the blue liquid flew from the creature's mouth.

The creature staggered and crashed to the ground, tumbling across the ground and skidding to a stop.

Without giving his opponent time to react, Bunyip charged towards the downed creature, galloping on his four legs, the creature got to its feet and spread its wings again, preparing to take off.

Bunyip opened his jaws and clamped them around the winged creature's right wing.

The wing breaking like a twig under the mammalian Titan's bone-crushing jaws, the sound of bones breaking cracking audibly, the creature let out otherworldly screech in pain as Bunyip completely teared the wing off.

Tossing it aside, Bunyip then clamped his jaws around the creature's head, and with a twist and a chomp, the four legged Titan crushed the creature's skull.
