Congratulations, you are dead! Would you like the tutorial of 'What in the fuck is going on right now?'

"Uh, yes? Are my friends alive?

You have died and now have this cool system that makes it so you can more easily view your progress through life and makes death slightly less inconvenient than standard. As to whether your friends are alive, it is very likely they are.

"That's good, I hope they are okay, but uh why did I die and they didn't then? And what do you mean less inconvenient? How inconvenient is death normally?

I cannot say why they didn't die. As to the inconvenience of death, it usually interrupts all of life's plans and makes it generally pretty hard to achieve anything or do anything, because being dead usually means something far more boring than this.

"Okay, so if I'm not doing the usual dead person thing, what am I doing then? Can I still help people?"

You will be world hopping, and you can do whatever you want, we just want to see what happens.

"What does that mean? There are other worlds out there? With people?"

Yes, they have people, although some may be a bit unusual, by your standards. As to what world hopping means is that every time you come here when you leave you will be sent to a random world, or a world of your choice you have already been to. You can get here two ways, the first is to die, you have already experienced this method. The second is to use the 'Save and Exit' feature, this allows you to leave a world without dying and come back to that world where you left off at a later date.

"Oh! Does that mean I can go back to remnant? That would be really weird explaining that I'm not actually dead, or at least not anymore.

Yes and no, you can go back, but it will not be in the list of worlds you have already visited, you will have to go there randomly first. Also do not expect the world to remain unchanged while you are gone.

"Oh… Nothing is ever easy is it? Alright, what's this 'View your progress through life' then?

"That….Is a lot of words, is there gonna be a test on this later? I hate studying."

No, the only test will be life. Normally this is where we would have you choose a Generic class as your starting class, but normally when we pick someone up they tend to be an unskilled moron, you are not and will retain the 'Huntress' class that you had on arrival.

You start with a second class slot already unlocked; this can be filled now with any Generic class or you can wait until another special class becomes available during your adventures. All classes except your starting class can be changed while you are here but not while you are alive.

Would you like to choose a second class now?

"Sure? If I can change it later I suppose it won't hurt."

Please select a Class from the list.

"Master of movement looks cool? I like the sound of being able to go even faster."

Would you like to select 'Master of Movement' as your second class?

"Yes?"

Master of Movement has been selected as your second class, this can be changed later but invested levels will not be lost or refunded.

There is no test, and it's only as weird as you think it is. Please say or think Unlockable Skills

Additional skills may be added to a class over time, but if you have already mastered a class you will not lose that mastery.

"Alright, some of these look really cool, especially that stealth runner one, I could be like one of those really fast ninjas! So if I keep mastering the class trees I could eventually get them all? That sounds nuts if being a huntress is just one of these classes."

Indeed, users of these systems have been known to become quite powerful with time. Now we move onto Perks. These are a bit different in that you can't level them up like skills, they are instead innate abilities that can affect nearly anything.
