It was a bright, sunny morning the city of Burbank. Over at the water tower located at the Warner Bros. lot, the famous Warner siblings, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, had already woken up, eaten breakfast, and got dressed for filming. Dot, however, wasn't focused on her job at all. Instead, she was fixated on a commercial for a high-powered remote control toy helicopter. Her brothers were perplexed, as she almost never played with toys.
"Dot, how long are you gonna keep staring at the TV? You know we have filming today." Yakko said.
"Yeah, we don't wanna be late." Wakko said.
"You guys go ahead. I'll catch up with you later." Dot said, her eyes glued to the screen.
"Come on, Dot, you can't wait until later. We're on a strict schedule here." Yakko said.
Dot turned off the TV and turned around. "Tell you what. I'll film with you if you buy me the helicopter."
"Hey now, that doesn't found fair at all." Wakko said.
"He's right, Dot. We'll run the risk of getting fired." Yakko said.
"Well then, if you wanna be the only Warners who show up to filming, be my guest." Dot said with her arms crossed.
Yakko and Wakko glanced at each other for a moment, before giving in.
"Alright, fine. I'll buy you the helicopter. But after we leave the store, we're coming RIGHT back here afterwards. No if's, and's, or but's." Yakko said.
Dot hopped out of her seat in utter joy. "Yay! You're the best big brother ever!" She gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Wakko shook his head in disdain while Yakko just shrugged.
The Warners left the water tower, climbed down, and walked to the nearest toy store. Dot, in particular, was skipping along happily.
"I've never seen Dot this excited about anything before." Wakko told Yakko.
"Me neither." Yakko responded.
When the Warners entered the shop, the first thing that was on display was the helicopter.
Yakko grabbed the toy off of the shelf. "This is it, right?"
"Yup!" Dot said with a cheeky smile.
"Eh, that thing's a hundred bucks. Must be really advanced." Wakko pointed out.
"Good thing we all got raises in our paychecks." Yakko said. He pulled a one-hundred dollar bill and handed it to the cashier.
"Just out of curiosity, who are you buying this for?" the cashier asked.
"Me!" Dot said.
"I see." the cashier said. He rung up the helicopter and put it in a brown paper bag.
"Thank you, my good sir." Yakko said, grabbing the bag.
"You kids have a good rest of your day." the cashier said.
The Warners left the store and began walking down the sidewalk.
"I appreciate you buying the helicopter for me, Yakko. I really do." Dot said.
"No problem. As long as your happy, I'm happy, too." Yakko said.
Wakko just looked at his siblings with utter disgust.
I can't believe Yakko actually bought that thing. If it was me, I would've said no.
The Warners made their way back to the lot. They climbed up the water tower and entered.
"Now that this is all taken care of, we can start a day filming." Yakko said.
"I can open the box after we're done, right?" Dot asked.
"Of course you can, little sis!" Yakko said.
Dot smiled. Wakko, however, was frowning. He pulled his older brother to the side.
"Yakko, are you sure it was a good idea buying Dot that helicopter?" Wakko asked.
"Um, yeah? What's the big deal?" Yakko asked, confused.
"I mean, she practically bribed you into buying it for her. For my money, that's no good." Wakko said.
"First of all, you're not in charge, Wakko. I am. Second, you don't have a say in this. I bought Dot that helicopter because she really wanted it and I couldn't stand to see her sad all day." Yakko said rather sternly.
"But Yakko-" Wakko began, but was interrupted.
"I don't wanna hear another word about this from you. Do you understand?" Yakko asked sternly.
"Yeah, I understand." Wakko said sheepishly.
"Good." Yakko said, and walked away.
Wakko looked on in defeat.
[Evening]
After almost an entire day of filming, Yakko and Wakko sat on the couch to watch TV. Dot, however, was playing with her helicopter. She was using the remote control to make it fly. The blades were accidentally breaking things.
"Dot, please be careful while you're flying that thing around. We can't afford to lose more fine china." Yakko said.
"I'm trying my best, don't worry." Dot said.
Having said that, the helicopter flew to a framed picture of the Warners and knocked it down, causing it to shatter.
"Oops, my bad!" Dot said nervously.
"It's alright, no big deal." Yakko said.
Wakko was starting to grow more and more impatient. The photo that broke happened to be one of his favorites.
Take it easy, Wakko. Getting angry won't help anything.
When the helicopter began breaking more stuff, Wakko struggled to keep his composure. But when it came down to it, this was the final straw for him. He turned off the TV in a rage.
"ALRIGHT, THAT'S IT! THAT STUPID HELICOPTER HAS GOT TO GO NOW!" Wakko shouted angrily.
"Whoa! Wakko, calm down! We can replace all this stuff, you know? Jeez!" Yakko said, a little scared.
Wakko approached Dot. She gasped.
"Oh no, you're not touching my helicopter!" Dot said.
"Give me that!" Wakko demanded. He and Dot fought over it.
"Wakko, are you crazy?!" Yakko asked, grabbing ahold of his brother.
"Sorry, guys, but this helicopter has got to go." Wakko said. He grabbed it.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing?!" Dot asked, getting mad herself.
"I'm doing what has to be done." Wakko said. He pulled out his mallet and smashed the toy to pieces.
Yakko and Dot were absolutely horrified. The latter even screamed.
"You...you broke my precious helicopter..." Dot muttered at a loss for words.
"What the heck is wrong with you?! I spent a hundred bucks on that thing! That's one-hundred dollars down the drain!" Yakko said with his hands on his head.
"I'm sorry, sibs, but I did what I had to do." Wakko said.
Dot was overwhelmed with emotion. She fell to her knees and broke down crying. Yakko and Wakko felt saddened at seeing their sister cry.
"I hope you're happy with yourself." Was all Yakko could say. He had his arms crossed and was visibly upset with the middle child.
"What have I done?" Wakko asked, hanging his head down in shame.
