Ever since the war ended, Sonya had been searching for a way to turn the surviving witches back to normal. During her travels, she had come across a curious manor atop a foreboding mountain. Though having damage that appeared to be from a skirmish, she had been able to find many useful books and magical items in this dreary place. Her latest potion was brewing in a silver cauldron while she sat at a desk, working through her extensive notes.
"Maybe this can return their souls..." Sonya mused, turning a page. She had learned much from her journey with Celica and was going through her old notes.
"What's this?" She wondered aloud. Her writing was smudged, but she could see an incantation for what seemed like a very powerful spell. Could this be what she needed all along? But the spell seemed incomplete somehow. Luckily, there were enough pieces left for her to work out what was missing.

A few hours later, Sonya cried out in triumph. The spell was complete! Could this be the cure she had been searching for all this time? Excited, she had to try it out, immediately! She knew it would likely do nothing with no witches nearby, but she would be able to feel if the spell seemed to work. Standing, she tried out the incantation, book in hand. She smiled as she saw green light glowing from her hand, it was indeed complete! She aimed towards the open window, intending to fire off the spell harmlessly.

At just that moment, her potion started to boil, a large bubble popping loudly. Startled and her concentration disrupted, Sonya couldn't help but jump at the noise. Unfortunately the sound had been at a critical moment, causing the spell to misfire. The energy coursed back over Sonya's hand, covering her body.
"Oh dear," Sonya shrugged, "well, it shouldn't do anything to me. I'm not a witch, after all."
Sonya suddenly felt her perspective shift down an inch, a feeling she hadn't experienced for quite a while. But it brought everything back as she realized what was happening.
"It can't be... Not this again!"
Sonya cursed in frustration as she shrank down in size. Her cauldron soon dwarfed her dwindling frame as she shrank down to three inches tall!
"Why is it me every time?" She muttered, looking up to her desk. She would find a way to grow back to normal, somehow. But it was going to be tough for the tiny woman...
