Hello my lovely and very patient readers! Here is my new chapter... 9 months later. I don't know if I will be updating anytime soon after this because work, and school, and life but I will keep you posted. And with that, let's get FLUFFY!

Phil's POV

"But Dan, it's one in the morning and I'm tired! I think we have done enough for tonight. We just got together a few hours ago!" I exclaimed groggily.
"Phil, no that's not what I want, I want someone to cuddle!" he cried like a small child wanting their teddy bear, as he pulled me to his room. He threw me a pair of pyjama pants and after we both changed, we crawled into bed. Dan hugged me like a teddy bear and I returned the embrace. We fell asleep like that in each other arms.

"NO, NO NOT THE HOLY MOTHER!" I heard myself screaming as Dan woke me up.
"Phil, wake up! You're having a nightmare. It's okay," Dan said soothingly.
"Dan? What, where am I?" I asked panicking.
"Phil, you're fine. You're in my room."
"Your room? Oh yeah," I say realization hitting and a smile spreading across my face. "What time is it?"
"It's almost 4 in the morning. Want to go back to sleep?"
"Sure," I say as I snuggle into Dan.

I'm still laying there a half an hour later as Dan is fast asleep. I can't sleep. I'm not scared, I just can't sleep. I feel weird laying here while Dan sleeps, so I decide to wake him up. "Dan, wake up. I can't sleep," I say as shake Dan to wake him up.
"P-Phil, it's almost 4:30, why are you still awake?"
"I can't sleep and I don't know why."
"What do you think will help?"
"I really don't know."
"Would you like me to play you a lullaby, or at least on song on the piano?"
"That actually might help! Could you please?" I inquire overjoyed to hear Dan play. I absolutely love to hear him play. He might not think he is good at the piano, but I think he is amazing. Dan gets out of bed and starts to play a unique, but beautiful song I have never heard him play before. Once he finishes I stare at him for a moment. He notices I'm still awake and decides to play another, but before he could, I ask, "Dan, what was that really pretty song?"
"Oh, um that was The Gambler by Fun."
"When did you learn that song?"
"Oh, I got lost in a world of YouTube one day, and came upon the song. I thought the piano part was pretty cool, so I decided to learn it. The lyrics are pretty decent too."
"Dan, can we listen to it? Pretty please?"
"Sure, Let me just grab my laptop." Dan gets up from the piano and grabs his laptop from his bedside table. He crawls back into bed and I snuggle into him. He opens up to YouTube and goes through his favorites and finds The Gambler. He clicks it and the beautiful piano I just heard before starts to play. The song plays and I listen as I continue to snuggle into Dan and he wraps his arm around me. With his free hand, he starts to draw shapes on my arm. Feeling at peace and almost falling asleep, a line in the song catches my attention.
"Even if the sun stop waking up over the fields, I will not leave, I will not leave 'til it's our time. So just take my hand, you know that I will never leave your side."
"Dan?"
"Hmm?" Dan sleepily replies as he was starting to almost doze off too.
"Daniel."
"Yes, Philip?" He perks up at the seriousness brought to the conversation by his full name.
"I just wanted to say, that line 'I will never leave your side' I know, it's early in our relationship, but I feel like that will be us. Even if things don't work, we will never leave each others' sides because we will still be and still are best friends. I'm sorry if this is weird, but that line just really caught my attention and I feel like it perfectly describes us." I duck my head into his chest, scared for his response.
"Phil, that is the sweetest thing someone has ever said to me!" Dan says as he lifts my chin up with his finger. He stares into eyes as I stare into his. "I was actually thinking the exact thing too," he states before he winks at me and kisses me. I giggle into the kiss and when we pull away, he kisses my forehead. "Now let's go to sleep. I'm tired," he states as he begins to close out of YouTube.
I then glance at the YouTube icon and realize, we have to tell our friends, family, and subscribers eventually. I glance over to tell Dan my realization, but he is already fast asleep. I decide to leave it until the next morning, but I still can't get the idea of having to come out out of my head as I finally fall back asleep.

So guys, that was chapter 4! Sorry it's late! I got distracted, but it's only early Thursday morning so don't kill me yet! It's a short chapter I know, but that's because it was a fluff filler to lead up to issues with coming out and problems they could face. It makes it possible so I can create conflicts and build the story as I realize my other chapters didn't have much a plot or conflict. Also the song I used is called The Gambler by fun. If you haven't listened to it, I would check it out because it's such an amazing song. One of my favorites! Anyways, if you would like to review please do.
