NOTE: picture the Eevees as the ones from burgerkiss, also, this is also my first fanfic, so I hope it's good.
It was a stormy night in Alola, I was walking around my house making sure not too much stuff was on so the power wouldn't go out, "alright, that's the last of them." I said as I turned off the last unnecessary light.
"My name is Jacob carter, I'm 18 years old and the youngest in my family and was currently living by myself." I had moved out of my family's home in Kanto to become independent 5 months ago.
"I have to admit, it's...kind of weird living by myself since I spent most of my life with my family, but I'm sure I'll get used to it." As I was getting ready to go to bed a loud boom of thunder rang throughout the air, followed by the sounds of creaking, a loud slam, and I could have sworn I heard sound of a something crying out.
"What was that!?" I yelled in surprise as I still hear the cry for help. "Crap...I have to do something!" I quickly put on my raincoat over my jacket and run out into the storm while following the crying.
after running into the forest near my house I found the source of the cry.
It was 7 Eevees trying to get a piece of a broken tree off of another unconscious Eevee that I noticed was slightly bigger than the rest of them
While I approach them, they look up at me and become defensive, some were ready to attack, and some were scared but that wasn't the surprising part. Looking closely, not only did I see they were all female but that they were also standing on their back legs like people.
I was definitely shocked but seeing them trying to get the tree off of the bigger one replaced my shock with empathy.
"I want to help you" I said as I slowly raised up both my hands to show that I wasn't dangerous. most of them still looked iffy till the smallest one surprising spoke.
"P-Please...help us save our big sister!" She said fearfully. I was taking by surprise again after hearing the Eevee talk but I pushed that thought away as I focused on helping them save the big Eevee as I slowly approached the fallen tree and placed my hands under it.
"Alright, everyone left on count of 3!" another one of the them yelled out sounding older than the small one. "1...2...3!" we all lifted the tree up at once and successful got it off the biggest Eevee, but she was still knocked out.
"What do we do now?" one of the Eevees spoke in a worried tone.
"We don't have anywhere to go for her to recover." the Eevees all looked and sounded worried about who I could guess from the little one's knowledge was possibly their oldest sister till I spoke up myself.
"I can let her recover at my house, it's not far from here." half of them looked at me in shock while the other half were still defensive.
"I... I think we should go with him" the smallest spoke again. "But how do we know we can trust him? another Eevee said defensively. He's a human!" She added.
"He wouldn't have helped us if he was bad" the youngest spoke said hopefully. they looked at their unconscious big sister again and sighed being left with no chose.
"Fine...we'll go with you but if you do anything to us or our big sister, you'll regret it!" one of the big eevees threatened me as the others picked up the unconscious one.
"I won't I promise" I said as raised my hands up in defense. with that I lead them to my house, but I couldn't help but notice that the smallest one was shaking slightly. "She looks cold" I thought. I then look at my raincoat then back at her and sighed.
"Good thing I have a jacket on under here." I take off my raincoat and hand it to the small one. "Here...it should keep you a little warm at least." she looks at the coat then back up at me.
"But...what about you?" she said in a worried tone.
"As long as I'm not out here for too long then I'll be fine." I said as I smiled at her. after she takes the raincoat, she looks up at me and smiles slightly
"T-Thank you..." she said in a shy tone before putting it on.
After a few minutes we arrive at my house, some of them gasped at the sight of it.
"You didn't tell us you lived in a mansion!" Another little one said excitedly.
I rubbed the back of my head in embarrassment. "it's not much really" I said bashfully. "Now come on, the sooner we get inside the better." I said as we entered the house.
I let them inside my house and followed them in not knowing that this fateful night would change my life forever...
