Simba was pacing in front of the cave where his mate was currently giving birth. Helping her right now was Ananda, her older sister Amaka and a female Cheetah named Jamila who was apparently a Healer with a strong knowledge in medicinal herbs and plants. After his coronation, Simba and Amethyst had to say goodbyes to their friends who had to go back to their own homes but they promised to visit as often as possible.
The Two Gods had respected their words as Menagerie's desert disappear to leave behind forest and viable areas for the Faunus there to create new settlements and Vale had , from Glynda's words, miraculously rebuilt itself to its former glory. 3 months and a half passed since the coronation… the busiest Simba had ever known since the first day he came on Remnant. Since his coronation, he had to make sure that the habitants of the Wild-Lands (Amethyst chose the name) were comfortable in their new home while playing the role of 'guardian'.
He had to create strict rules for the Predators to avoid over-hunting and the Carnivores agreed to it after long negotiations. To be sure that he wouldn't be warned to late in case there was a conflict, he decided to recruit a majordomo (Like Zazu back in the Pridelands) and after long days of searches, the Golden Lion found the perfect candidate : a male Hawk-Eagle named Naba. Simba wanted a Bird for many reason but mainly because Bird could fly and had a good view of the Kingdom.
Naba had been honored to become the King's majordomo and he and Simba became good friends like Zazu with Mufasa. The Eagle was strong, confident and determinate but he could be friendly and a good diplomat, thanks to his talents with words. Another problem was to find a Royal Mjuzy : someone who could act as both healer and adviser for the Royal Family. Because he got to chose the majordomo, Amethyst had volunteered to look for such potential candidates. Imagine Simba's face when his Queen returned back to Lion-Mount (the Massive Rock-like structure) when a young female Royal Cheetah. The Golden Lion was a bit skeptic at first but then he wholeheartedly accepted Jamila after she showed him her knowledge in medicinal plants.
When asked where she got her skills, Jamila responded that since she was born, she dreamed of Lions made of stars who taught her everything. Like Naba, Jamila quickly became good friends with the Royal Family thanks to her kindness and good-nature. As the time passed, the habitants of the Wild-Lands grew accustomed to their life here and grew fond of their Monarchs. Jamila was even more famous for being the Official Leader of the Kingdom and every day, many creatures would go to her for any problem.
Ananda and Amaka, the two other Lionesses in the Pride, also grew accustomed to their new lives as before coming here on Remnant, they had been casted out of their former Pride by a cruel Lion who killed Ananda's mate, a good-hearted Lion named Amare in cold blood. Saddened to hear this, Simba and Amethyst promised that nothing like this would happen again. The day before now, Ananda had gave birth to two adorable fur-balls, a male and a female.
The male had an orange cream fur which was lighter on his muzzle, underbelly and paws, a round dark pink nose and beautiful blue eyes. Ananda had said he was a carbon copy of his father and named him Hadithi. The little female, who was named Almasi, looked perfectly like her mother except that she had a lighter fur and instead of orange eyes, she got the blue eyes of her diseased father. Simba had inquired Naba to tell their subjects the good news and the Wild-Landers were overjoyed to hear about the newborn cubs.
Sadly as they weren't royalty, they could be presented to the entire Kingdom like it was done for a Prince or Princess but the new mother didn't minded it one bit and instead seemed revealed to not deal with that.
Apart of that, Simba also decided to create 'Frontier Guard', a group charged to watch the Kingdom's frontiers to make sure no intruders would sneak in without getting spotted. The Golden Lion had charged the Leopards and Cheetahs for this job and the spotted felines had been honored to have been chosen for such a big task. Now almost 4 months later, life was peaceful in the Wild-lands except when Simba came back at Lion-Mount in a hurry. He was returning back from an evening patrol when Naba, his majordomo came to warn him that the Queen was in labor !
Needless to say that he returned back to the Royal Den in a panic and he arrived there, Amaka strictly inquired him to stay outside as it was a delicate job. The chestnut-furred Lioness had apparently never been interested in having cubs of her own and instead seemed content to just be the cubs' aunt. As Jamila and Ananda were helping the pregnant Lioness, Simba had no choice but to stay outside, waiting for the Royal Mjuzi to allow him inside.
That's bring us back to present.
The Golden Lion was pacing in front of the cave's entrance, wincing every time he heard his mate crying out in pain. As his paws was his majordomo who was trying his best to calm his liege "Your Majesty… Everything will be okay… Jameli is the best healer in the whole Wild-Lands !" the Hawk-Eagle inquired to the King who stopped pacing to look at him "I know but I can't help myself ! My place is in there with her !" Simba retorted with a tone filled with concern before wincing when Amethyst let a loud cry, far louder than the precedent ones.
Then silence.
It staid like this for a minute until Simba heard something that caused his heart to beat even faster than usual : a baby's cry. However he then heard Amethyst crying loudly again and was wondering what was going on until he heard again another baby's cry. The Golden Lion was about to rush into the cave when Jamila came out of it with a radiant smile on her spotted face before announcing gently "Congratulations my King ! You are the honorable father of two !"
Hearing this, Simba's heart stopped beating for a second : he was a father of two cubs ?! A smile grew on his muzzle as he purred in joy, much to the amusement of the Royal Mjuzi who shot him a soft smile "Can I go see them ?" The King inquired the Cheetah who nodded before stepping aside and watching at the Golden Lion slowly entered the Royal Den, leaving both his majordomo and Royal Mjuzi behind.
As he entered the cave, his eyes landed on his mate who looked laying on her right side and exposing her belly… where the King saw two little fur-falls suckling her nipples, nursing. Not too far from the new mother, Ananda was curled around her own cubs, looking at Amethyst with a warm smile on her face as beside her, her older sister looked equally happy for her Queen. The two Lionesses bowed their heads at their King who returned the gesture before approaching his mate who looked away from her newborn cubs to look at him fondly but also tiredly.
"They are beautiful~" Simba whispered with affection as he gazed at his newborn cubs. The first one was a little male who was the carbon copy of his mother : the same reddish-brown fur. His muzzle, underbelly and paws were tan in color. His eyes were closed so they couldn't tell which color there were yet. The second cub was a little female whose coat was perfect blend of the colors of her parents' pelts. The little Princess had golden-red fur and a cream colored muzzle, underbelly and paws. In addition, she had a cute purple-pink nose. Like her brother, her eyes were closed so impossible yet to tell their colors.
"How do you want to name them ?~" Amethyst asked him gently as she gazed at her newborn babies tenderly. "I was thinking for Kopa for our son and Kiara for our daughter… What do you think ?" Simba asked her gently after a moment of thoughts "Kopa and Kiara… I like it~" Amethyst cooed as she licked the heads of her nursing babies who mewled for a second in what sounded like protests before feeding themselves again.
"Who is the first born ?" The Golden Lion asked his mate as he looked back and forth between the two nursing cubs. "Kopa~" Amethyst responded as she gazed down at her son lovingly. The King of the Wild-Lands sighed before saying "Then it means Kopa is my heir… However, we will make sure that Kiara doesn't get jealous of her brother..." The Queen nodded in agreement before inquiring "We will treat both of our cubs equally ! However, from what Jamila said, she saw no dark futures for our cubs only happiness ..."
Simba seemed pleased by those words : Jamila had been gifted by the Great Kings of the Past themselves and received visions from them. If she said his cubs would know nothing but happiness… then he had no reason to not believe his Royal Mjuzi. "When are we doing the ceremony ?" Amethyst asked her King who smiled before answering "Not until tomorrow my love~" Nodding in understanding, the reddish-browned Lioness turned her head away from her mate to look back at her cubs who stopped nursing and were now making themselves comfortable against their mother's warm belly.
"Your Majesty, maybe you should let the Queen rest for a bit… Giving birth is an exhausting task..." Amaka inquired the Golden Lion who nodded at her before nuzzling his mate's face whispering softy "I will come back later my love~" Amethyst purred softy as she nuzzled him before whispering gently "I know you will… Stupid Fur-ball !" Simba chuckled at her before turning around to leave the cave just as Amethyst putted her head on her forepaws, her eyes still fixed on her cubs.
Back to Simba, he was now standing at the edge of the promontory, looking at the sky with a joyful smile on his face before calling out "NABA !" Instantly, the Hawk-Eagle flied to his King before landing on the Golden Lion's shoulder "Yes sire ?" the King's majordomo asked Simba who inquired with contained happiness "I want you to tell all our subjects that tomorrow morning their new Prince and Princess will be presented !" Naba bowed his head at his liege and was about to fly away when he looked back at the King before saying in a respectful tone "Congratulations your Majesty ! To you and the Queen !"
The Golden Lion bowed his head at his majordomo with a smile before watching at the Hawk-Eagle flied away to tell everyone the good news. Simba then turned away from the fading form of Naba to look at his Kingdom… before letting out a thunderous roar which echoed through the air. He was roaring his thanks to his ancestors and the Gods for giving him two beautiful cubs he was proud to call his own. After a moment of roaring, the King smiled at the sky before going toward the nearest lake to take a drink, knowing that tomorrow will be a good day.

The next day, as the sun was beginning to rise in the sky, Simba was standing at the edge of Lion-Mount's promontory, gazing down at the columns of animals heading toward the Massive Rock-structure. From what Naba told him yesterday, his subjects were all overjoyed to hear that their beloved Queen had given birth and were all excited to see the Prince and Princess for the first time. The King of the Wild-Lands watched with a smile as more and more of his subjects were gathered around Lion-Mount when he saw a familiar form flying toward him : Naba.
The Hawk-Eagle swooped over the herds before landing right in front of his King who gazed down at him. Naba then bowed in front of the Golden Lion who smiled down at him warmly, bowing his head in greeting. Soon every living creatures of the Wild-Lands were gathered around the promontory, looking up at their King with excitement as they were all eager to meet the future heirs of the throne.
Simba smiled at them when he noticed a familiar figure walking through the crowd of gathered animals who instantly parted way at the sigh of a certain Royal Mjuzi. The Cheetah made her way up Lion-Mount with some fruits between her jaws before facing her King who embraced her warmly. Simba then turned around to walk toward his mate who was laying on the ground with their bundle of joys between her front-paws. Amethyst and her mate nuzzled each other before the Queen lowered her head down to lick her babies who turned around to look up at their parents.
Kopa had inherited his father's red eyes while Kiara got her mother's purple ones. Jamila looked at the two cubs before putting down the fruit she carried and breaking it. Then she covered the toes of her right front-paw with the juice from inside it before pressing her paw on Kopa's forehead, marking it. Then the Cheetah used her other paw to pick up some dust before sprinkling it over the Prince who sneezed adorably in response. Simba and Amethyst nuzzled each other with warm smiles on their faces.
Jamila then repeated the operation with the Princess who had the same reaction than her older brother after the dust tickled her nose. The Cheetah then gently picked up Kopa by the scruff of its neck before carrying him toward the edge of the promontory before being followed by the Queen who was carrying little Kiara. When they reached the edge, Jamali looked at her King and Queen who nodded at her before facing the assistance again. The Royal Mjuzi raised her head as high as she could, presenting the cub for all animals to see.
At the sight of the cub, all the animals cheered for the Prince : Elephants raised their trunks to trumpet loudly ;Zebras, Deers, Wildebeests were stamping the ground; Hares and Gazelles were hopping in joy ; Jackals were howling; Leopards were roaring along with the Cheetahs…The Young Prince watched the scene below him, confused but unaffected just as in the sky Mufasa's ghostly figure smiled down at his grandson. He sent a beam of light to illuminated Kopa and all animals bowed before the young Prince and future King of the Wild-Lands.
Then Jamila turned around to gently put the prince down just as Amethyst was doing the same with her daughter. The Cheetah then picked up the princess by the scruff while Amethyst took back her son. Turning around to face the crowd, the Royal Mjuzi raised her head again to present the Princess and again, the Animals around the promontory erupted into cheers. Seeing the crowd below her, little Kiara grinned playfully batting her front paws a little but was still firmly held by Jamila.
In the sky, Mufasa's spirit smiled again as he stared down at his granddaughter. Simba, who was standing beside his mate, closed his eyes with a smile when a breeze ruffled his mane before the same breeze stirred Amethyst's face causing her to sigh softy by the nose, having her mouth full with her son right now. Kiara , for her part, swatted at the milkweed floss which was being carried on the breeze and Jamili smiled internally but didn't released her grip on the Princess's scruff as down below, the Wild-Landers were still cheering for their Princess.
Then most of the animals gathered started to bow as two Elephants reared on their hind-legs, trumpeting, before slamming the grounds, scaring a flock of birds who fly past the promontory. Then Jamila turned around to face her King and Queen again who smiled at the Cheetah before Amethyst led the Royal Mjuzi back into the Cave, leaving behind Simba who looked back at the gathered Animals who started to depart from around the promontory.
After a moment of silence, Simba saw his majordomo about to leave and called him back "Naba !" the Hawk-Eagle flied toward his King before landing in front of him "Sir ?" he asked the Golden Lion who inquired in a calm tone "I want you to find Mirembe… Tell her to come her quickly !" "Yes sir… I am at your service !" The Hawk-Eagle said with a bow before flying away. The Lion King watched as his majordomo flied away to find Mirembe. Who was Mirembe who may ask ?
Mirembe was a female Martial Eagle with dark blue and white feathers with black and white underlining. Her eyes were yellow and green blue while her feet were dark gray. She also had some black stripes on both her legs. In addition, Mirembe had a dark-grey beak and a black crown on her head. Mirembe had been one of the King's candidates for the post of majordomo but then when Naba was chosen, Simba gave her another role : in case Naba was unable to preform his duties then she would act as replacement.
Why ? Because she was also faster in the air that the Hawk-Eagle who had a lot of times wholeheartedly complimented her skills. But Mirembe was also acting as a messenger in case the King wanted to see someone in particular or vise-versa. Simba waited for a few minutes until the sound of flappin wings caught his attention and he turned his head to see the Martial Eagle heading toward him.
"Mirembe ! I'm glad you could come !" The King greeted her with a welcoming smile as she bowed before him "Of course your Majesty ! I came as soon Naba told me your needed my services… What do you want me for sir ?" the Martial Eagle asked her liege with some curiosity and excitement. She was always eager to serve her King as it was a great honor. "I want you to head to Beacon Academy in Vale ! I have some friends and I want them to come meet my cubs..." Simba explained calmly to Mirembe who nodded in understanding. She remembered the Humans who were present when Simba became King of the Wild-Lands so the Martial Eagle won't have a problem to recognize them.
Not everyone in the Wild-Lands were fond of Humans but if the King trusted them… then it was good enough for many. "I will transmit your message my King..." Mirembe said excitedly to her liege as she bowed before him. Then she opened he wings before raising up in the air and flying in the direction where Beacon was. Simba watched her go with a smile before climbing down the promontory to go in patrol. But then he stopped in his track before slapping his face with a paw "Damn it ! I forgot to tell her how Beacon looked like !"

It took some times for Mirembe to reach Vale but when she did, she sighed in relief. Now all she had to do was find Beacon Academy so she could transmit her King's message ! Easier to say than done as she never once seen Beacon Academy before… Shaking her head to get rid of those thoughts, she scanned the area to find an isolated person so she ask for direction.
Soon her green eyes landed on a sitting male Human, drinking something in a strange cylindric object. "Its still better than nothing I guess..." The Martial Eagle thought to herself before flying toward the man before landing behind him "Excuse me sir ? Can you tell me where I could find Beacon Academy please ?" she asked the drunken man politely and the man burped loudly (much to her disgust) before pointing a direction, East. "Go this way and you will find it..." the man drunkly replied before shoving the object to his mouth again, drinking loudly.
"Thank you kind sir...Good day !" Mirembe quickly thanked the guy before flying away to put as much distance possible between him and her "Disgusting human..." she grumbled under her breath before going faster toward where Beacon Academy was (from the man's perspective at least). The Martial Eagle flied for a long time when she spotted a large Human structure near some Cliffs. "Guess this is it then… We can say everything bad about them but Humans DO make incredible things..." Mirembe commented as she eyed the building, slowly approaching it.
At Beacon, Team RWBY and JNPR were sitting at the cafeteria, enjoying their lunches. However, some of them were seen with nostalgic faces while some were sighing with boredom. They had just left a lesson from Professor Port (Urgh !) and were now EXHAUSTED. "I wish Simba and Amethyst were here with us..." Ruby whispered loudly to her friends and team-mates who all nodded in agreement. "Its not the same here without them around… " Pyrrha inquired sadly as she was sitting beside Jaune who wrapped an arm around her shoulders to bring her closer.
"I don't have my giant cuddly plush anymore !" Nora whine with fake-sobs and Ren patted her on the head in comfort. All of them missed the two Lions dearly but Simba and Amethyst were King and Queen now… They must be busy with their new duties. "We still have to wait until school-break… Then we can go see them !" Yang said in an attempt to brighten the mood but it didn't worked.
Blake, for her part, was sighing deeply in sadness as she laid against her girlfriend (Yang) : she missed Amethyst as she had been her first friend in Beacon but also Simba because he was always there for them when they needed help (except the time were he and Ame went to see Sienna) and wanted nothing more than to see the two Lions again.
Weiss looked at everyone present with a sigh but then she glanced at the windows… only to see a strange forms flying toward the school "What is that ?" the Schnee Heiress asked with a frown as she pointed at the figure . Team JNPR and her own team-mates glanced at it with equal confusion "I don't know… Do you think its a Nevermore ?!" Jaune asked loudly in worry as he looked at his friends. Ren ,however, shook his head in disagreement before saying calmly "No… Its some kind of bird… But I never saw one like this before…"
Pyrrha then went back on her feet, saying seriously "Then maybe we should go out and see..." Everyone nodded at that before they all left the cafeteria in a hurry. Ruby was the first one to arrive at the school courtyard, her silver eyes locked on the Bird who was circling the school. "Look like it is looking for something or someone…" Blake commented as she stared at the Bird with a frown. "What do you think it w-" Weiss began to ask before Nora waved her arms, yelling loudly "HEY BIRDIE !"
Her friends looked at her with deadpan expressions on their faces except Ren who was looking at the Bird "Its approaching us !" he remarked loudly and they all turned their heads to see that he was right ! The Bird was indeed approaching them ! However, instead of attacking them, the Eagle (they got a good look at it) landed right in front of them before opening its beak to say "Hello… I'm not here to cause troubles..." Team RWBY and JNPR gaped at the Bird, surprised that 'she' could talk but then Pyrrha regained her composure to ask in a kind tone "Hello… May I ask what are you doing here Miss huh ?"
The Eagle (whose species was unknown to them) smiled at the redhead before answering gently "Call Mirembe and I'm here by request of King Simba of the Wild-Lands !" The group of teenagers all gasped when they heard the name 'Simba' and Ruby, being Ruby, couldn't retain herself to ask rapidly "How is he ? How is Amethyst ? Are they okay ?" The Eagle blinked at the unexpected flow of questions and found herself unable to answer "Ruby ! You dunce ! You can ask so many question at once !" Weiss scowled at her Team-leader who sheepishly letted out a soft 'sorry' for her behavior.
"No no no its okay ! I was just caught by surprise ! Anyway to answer you, Simba sent me to transmit a message to his friends in Beacon ! " Mirembe responded gently to the group with a soft smile on her beak. "What is the message ?" Blake asked the Eagle seriously but also with some concern, hoping it wasn't. Miremble smiled at them before announcing in a gentle tone "Simba wants to see you all so he could present you his newborn cubs !" New shock for the two Teams before shock turned into joy "Amethyst gave birth ?!" Yang asked the Eagle who nodded back at her.
"Wait did you say 'cubs' ?" Blake asked with wide eyes as she stood beside her blond team-mate (and girlfriend) "I did… Queen Amethyst gave birth to two adorable cubs… A little male and a little female~" Mirembe responded with a fond look as she remembered the Cubs' presentation earlier in the day. The girls of both teams squealed like 5-years old kids at those words and were actually thinking about how the newborns looked like. "Ananda also gave birth to two cubs by the way..." Mirembe couldn't help but adding with mischief, wondering if she would get a similar reaction then earlier. She wasn't disappointed.
"What are we waiting for then ? Lets go !" Yang inquired excitedly as she raised a fist in the air "YEAH !" Her team-mates and the girls from Team JNPR cheered in equal excitement but then Ren said something that stopped them dead in their tracks "Guys we should go see Professor Goodwitch first… And I know some people who would want to come with us..." The girls all looked sheepish at their rubbed the back of their heads in embarrassment : it seemed that they all forgotten this small details.
"Well then Maybe we should go see Professor Goodwitch then…" Ruby mumbled softy before she lead her team-mates and friends away to find Glynda and ask permission to go to the Wildlands with Mirembe left behind. As they walked, Blake tapped on her Scroll and when asked what she was doing she responded calmly "I'm explaining everything to Velvet…" They nodded at this before resuming their trip to find Glynda while silently hoping the stern Headmaster of Beacon would allow them to go.

"I can't wait to see Simba and Amethyst again !" Velvet squealed like a fan-girl as she sat beside Team RWBY and JNPR. All of them were aboard of a Bullhead, heading toward the Wild-Lands, where their friends were living. Glynda had shocked them by agreeing to let them after Mirembe explained to her the reason of her presence. The Headmaster of Beacon had confessed that she wanted to come but couldn't because of her duties so she charged Emerald to go with them. Amber also wanted to come but as teacher, he couldn't.
However, both of them had strictly inquired the teenagers to sent them pictures of Simba's and Amethyst's cubs and the group promised. Velvet was the only one of her team who could go. Why ? Because Glynda couldn't let more students leaving the school even if it was for a good reason. However, her team-mates didn't minded as they all planned to do something anything but even Coco had inquired the Rabbit Faunus to sent her pictures.
Right now, Team RWBY, JNPR, Velvet and Emerald were sitting comfortably in the Bullhead, chatting with each other with Mirembe who was standing beside Emerald. The Martial Eagle had preferred to stay with them instead of going back to the Wild-Lands to inform Simba of their arrival and when asked why, Mirembe explained that they would wait and see.
"I bet their cubs are really cute !" Ruby squealed as she imagined having the little fur-balls in her arms. "I'm sure they are but remember they were born not long ago so they are still fragile !" Blake inquired her team-leader calmly and they all nodded in agreement… even if Ruby and Nora were pouting in disappointment but nodded regardless. The last thing they wanted was two angry parents against them… especially if say parents were two of their best friends.
"We are almost arrived !" the pilot announced as he slowly started to fly down toward the shores of the Wild-Lands. Slowly the Bullhead landed on a clearing area before opening the cockpit "Here we are ladies and gentlemen ! I will for your return here ! Good luck out there !" the pilot inquired to the passengers who thanked him for the ride before going outside. "Its still as beautiful as the last time came !" Weiss commented as she gazed around at her surroundings with wide eyes of amazement.
"Come on I will lead you to the King !" Mirembe inquired as she flied above them before heading away "Hey wait up !" Yang called out as she and the rest of the group dashed after the Martial Eagle who slowed down a bit so they wouldn't lose her. As they walked, the Hunters and Huntresses-in-training were looking at their surroundings with wide eyes : the Nature was just to beautiful here and from time to time they could see some Animals staring at them with curiosity.
Suddenly, as they were about to enter an area filled with tall-grasses when many figures appeared in thin air to surround them, growling threateningly: there were large Cat-like Creatures with yellow fur, black spots, a white underbelly, muzzle and paws. The teenagers pulled out their weapons ready to defend themselves when Mirembe placed herself between the two parties, facing the attackers "Akida ! Tell your Leopards to back off !" she inquired loudly as she glared at the 'Leopards' sternly.
Then, a big broad-shouldered and muscular male stepped forward, gazing at the group before saying while looking at the Martial Eagle "Mirembe ! Have you forgotten that intruders are not welcome in the Wild-Lands ?" "Those humans are not intruders ! They are our liege's friends !" Mirembe retorted back vehemently and a look of surprise appeared on the Leopard's face "They… are the friends of the King ?!" Akida asked in shock as around him, his Leopards murmured with one another.
"Don't you remember them ? They were there at the Coronation !" Mirembe added sternly and the Leopards' eyes landed on the teenagers who were pretty uncomfortable under the stares. Pyrrha and Jaune glanced at each other with nervousness while Ruby and Weiss were clinging each other worriedly. Velvet was shivering in fear as her face was as pale as a ghost. Akida watched them for a moment before saying solemnly "Simba is a good and fair King… I wouldn't want to anger him by eating his friends..." then he looked at his Leopards before ordering in a loud tone "LEOPARDS ! Back in the grasses NOW !"
His 'soldiers' nodded their heads at once before disappearing from sight, much to the group's shock. Akida was the only Leopard left as he was staring at the teenagers with an apologetic look on his face "I'm sorry for this… We were following our King's orders…" "Its okay no harm done I guess..." Jaune replied hesitantly from his spot and the Leopard nodded at him "I wil leave you be now… Good day !" Akida inquired them before disappearing in the tall grasses.
"It was an… interesting experience..." Ren inquired with hesitation and Mirembe shot him an amused look before opening her wings to rise from the ground "Come on !" Hearing this, the teenagers followed the Eagle, walking among the tall grasses. Mirembe was flying above them so all they had to do was following her… Easy task… As they walked, however, they felt the Leopards' eyes staring at them from everywhere but they brushed it aside.
Around 25 minutes later, Mirembe smiled when she saw that they finally reached Lion-Mount and turned around to look at the group of teenagers "Look like we are finally there !" Emerald inquired as she pointed at the mountain. At those words, her comrades were becoming excited ( at least most of them) and were about to rush forward when a familiar voice echoed in their left "Long time no see my friends !" They turned their heads to see… Simba ! The Golden Lion was looking at them with a warm smile before laughing when the girls pounced on him.
Letting himself falling on the side, Simba purred in joy at seeing his friends again "Oh Simba its so great to see you !" Velvet cried out joyously as she hugged his mane as tightly as she could and every girls were doing the same, happy to be with their golden friend again after so long. Simba gave them a warm smile before looking toward Mirembe "Thank you..." the Martial Eagle bowed to her King before flying away after saying goodbyes.
"Mirembe told us you were a father of two ? Congratulations !" Blake inquired to the Golden Lion nodded in response before Ruby inquired with her cute puppy eyes "Can we see them pleeeeeaaaaase ?!" Simba grinned at her before going back on his paws " Alright follow me..." then he lead them to Lion-Mount toward where a big cave's entrance could be seen. The teens stopped tight in front of it with hesitation and seeing this, Simba shot them a comforting smile before saying "Come on in~" Just as he said this, the Golden Lion entered the cave soon followed by the teenagers.
Inside, the group saw the familiar form of Amethyst who seemed asleep while a few feet away from the Queen where Ananda and Amaka who looked at the entrance at the sounds of foot-steps "Your Majesty..." the two Lionesses greeted the Male who nodded at them before saying "We have guests~" hearing this, the two Lionesses turned their heads to look at the teenagers "Welcome at Lion-Mount ! Are you here to see the cubs ?~" Ananda asked them with a soft smile. The day of Simba's coronation, she had befriended those people and trusted them completely. Amaka had been a bit wary of them but after hearing they were friends with the Royal Family… she gave them a chance.
"We are..." Blake responded while placing a hand on Ruby's mouth to prevent her team leader from shouting which caused the younger girl pouted at her team-mate's action. "Awww they are adorable~" Pyrrha cooed softy as her green eyes were looking at two bundles of fur who were against their mother's side, nursing. The dark creamed Lioness smiled in appreciation at the redhead before saying "Thank you… the little male is Hadithi and the female Almasi~" Ananda explained as she licked her cubs one by one. Pyrrha smiled at the small fur-balls as around her, the others girls were equally gazed at the little ones with hearts in their eyes (even the Ice Queen).
Simba smiled at them before lowering his head down to nuzzle his mate's face, whispering softy "Amethyst wake up love… We have guests~" the reddish-browned Lioness slowly opened her eyes to look at her King "Guests ?" she asked him tiredly and he glanced at the group of teenagers. Amethyst followed his gaze before gasping in joy "Guys !" she cried out softy in happiness when her purple eyes landed on them "Hey Amethyst ! Congratulations !" Blake inquired the Lioness as she was the first one to approach the Queen before gently hugging her muzzle, earning a purr in reward.
"Hey Ame ! How does it feel to be a mom ?" Jaune asked the Queen who shot him a glance before answering while being hugged by Ruby this time "It feels wonderful… I couldn't bee happier~" Amethyst responded fondly as she gazed at her little ones, currently between her front legs. "They're so beautiful !" Weiss and Velvet commented gently as their eyes landed on the cubs. Emerald, for her part, gave a warm smile to the Queen who, upon seeing her, gestured her to come over which she did.
"Hey Ame..." Emerald whispered to the Queen as she caressed her flank, earning a purr from Amethyst who looked at her childhood friend with a warm smile "Emerald I missed you… All of you~" she said the last part while looking at her friends who smiled at her in response, touched by her words. "What are their names ?" Blake asked the Queen as her amber eyes were still locket on the two bundles of joy who were now looking at everyone present with their big eyes.
"The little male here..." Amethyst began to say before licking her reddish-browned son on the head (causing him to mewl cutely and the girls to coo) "is Kopa…. And the little ball of mischief here..." the Queen said teasingly as she looked at her daughter who was looking up at Blake with curiosity "is his sister Kiara~" "They are so cute !" Ruby gushed softy as she looked at the babies with hearts in their eyes. "As cute as Ruby was when she was a little girl..." Yang inquired playfully but with a bit of nostalgia in her words as she glanced at her sibling.
"Yaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnggggggg ! Not in front of my friiiiiiiends !" Ruby whined at her sister and everyone present laughed at the comical scene. Emerald, who was sitting beside Amethyst, blinked when she felt something touching her legs and looked down to see it was her friend's son, Kopa who was battling her leg with his tiny paw. "It seems my son took a liking to you Em~" the Queen remarked playfully to the green-haired young woman who glared at her before looking down at the little Prince with a warm smile. He was just to cute.
"Blake ! Look at your feet !" Ruby said as she pointed at the floor with stars in her silver eyes while Velvet had her Scroll in her hands, most likely taking pictures. The Cat Faunus blinked at her friend's words but then looked down before gasping softy when she saw little Kiara nipping on her right boot. "Awwwww" all teens cooed as they glanced at the two cubs and even Blake had to admit it was cute.
Blake sent a look at Amethyst who nodded at her with a smile before sitting down on the ground, still facing little Kiara who looked at her with her big purple eyes. Gently, the Cat Faunus picked up the baby in arms before carrying her like she would to a baby human. "Hello there little one~" Blake cooed softy at the Princess who mewled cutely before batting her little paws in an attempt to touch her face. This action caused more than one to coo because of how cute it was while Emerald who playin 'pick-a-boo' with the little Prince who seemed to have a lot of fun.
A bit away from them was Simba who was staring at the scene with a warm smile on his face. The the King of the Wild-Lands turned his head to look at Ren who was beside him "So how are you all doing ?" The black haired boy from Team JNPR responded in his usual calm tone "Pretty good in fact… Many things happened since you became King you know..." "Like what exactly ?" Simba asked him with curiosity but it was Jaune who responded "Ozpin died in prison for starting… Ruby's Mom became a Teacher at Beacon… Team CDRL got kicked out for bullying… Ironwood's murderer was found and sentenced to death..." "Who was it ?" the Golden Lion asked the Blond with a raise-brow.
While he never was a big fan of Ironwood, the man didn't deserve to die like that "Some guy I forgot the name… Sorry" Simba shrugged as it didn't really mattered to him "Don't be its fine… What else happened ?" the King asked him to change the subject and this time its Ren who answered "People got together : Pyrrha and Jaune, Ruby and Weiss, Blake and Yang, Sun with Ilia..."
Hearing this, Jaune glanced away with red face while Simba eyed with a soft smile "Congratulations Jaune !" After a soft 'thank you', the Blond became playful as he retorted while looking at Ren "You forgot to mention that you and Nora are together genious !"
"Really ?" Simba asked an embarrassed Ren who nodded at him while narrowing his eyes at Jaune who shot him an innocent smile. "Congratulations then and good luck for the future..." The King inquired with a grin which caused Ren to shot him a glare while Jaune laughed with humor quickly followed by Simba.
The Golden Lion was happy : he had a loving mate, cubs he adored, friends he cared deeply and subjects who loved him. He couldn't be even happier.
