This is a story revolving around John Cena and Nikki Cross.

Nicola Glencross, aka Nikki Cross, just arrived at the the Performance Center.

She was walking towards the women's locker room before she heard a man's voice.

"Miss Glencross.''

She turned around to see the GM of NXT, William Regal.

"Mr. Regal. What can I do for you?" Nicola asked.

"Miss Stephanie McMahon wants to see you."

Nikki eyes shot wide open. She hadn't expect him to say that.

"Oh. Okay." she said as she followed Mr. Regal.

She was excited, yet a bit scared at the same time. She didn't know what to expect.

Maybe she'll get called up to either Raw or Smackdown Live.

Not that she hasn't enjoy being in NXT. She's had a blast being in Sanity with Killian Dain, Eric Young, and Alexander Wolfe.

They're kind of like a second family to her. She enjoys traveling with them.

As they made it to Stephanie's office, she took a couple of deep breaths, as she wants to be as professional as possible.

They went inside.

"Miss McMahon, miss Nicola Glencross is here."

"Good. Have a seat if you please." Stephanie said.

Nicola took a seat.

Stephanie put down her clipboard.

"Now I bet you're wondering why you're here."

Nicola nodded. "Yes ma'am."

"Well we've been talking about whether or not you're ready to move you up to the main roster."

Nicola''s heart skipped a beat. Is this what I think it is? she thought to herself.

"And after a few days of deliberating, we have decided you're ready."

After hearing that, she squealed in delight.

"OhMiGodOhMiGodOhMiGod! Thank you so much Stephanie! You have no idea how much this means to me. I promise I won't let you down."

She got up to leave when Stephanie stopped her. "Wait! I'm not done."

Nicola sat back down. "Sorry. Please continue."

"We've also thought about what your first storyline will be."

Nicola nodded. "Okay."

"We've decided that you will be managing one of our top superstars."

"And slowly as time progress, it will turn into a love storyline."

Nicola looked surprised. She wasn't expecting something like this.

''And before you ask, don't worry you'll get to wrestle in some matches."

"Your character will remain the same. At first. But slowly your character will start to become less, psychotic. And will become more sane and act like a regular woman."

"You getting all of this Nicola?" Stephanie asked.

"Yeah. Yeah. I understand completely."

"Is this something you are interested in?"

"Oh yeah. I can work with that." "So who will I be working with?"

Stephanie then gave Nicola a smile. Nicola seemed confused.

"You Nicola, will be working with none other, than John Cena."

After hearing that, Nicola felt her jaw dropped.

She was lost in her thoughts.

Ohmigod! I'm going to be working with John Cena? This is the best day of my life!

She can start imagining what her time with John will be like.

Of what type of stuff they'll be able to do together.

Maybe they'll do a segment where they kiss.

She can imagine how John's lips on hers would feel like.

"Nicola! Nicola!"

Nicola snapped back into reality. "Who-What? Oh. Sorry." she said, feeling embarrassed.

"Does John know about this?" she had to ask.

Stephanie nodded. "Yes. We pitched the idea to him and he said he was interested. He said he will only do it if you're interested with the angle as well."

"Oh yes. I'm very interested in doing this storyline with John."

"Okay. I'll call him tomorrow and let him know you're on board."

"So you will make your first appearance on the Smackdown Live after WrestleMania 34." "In the meantime you will be having a few more matches on NXT before WrestleMania." "We'll inform you for more details along the way. That'll be all."

Nicola stood up and gave Stephanie a big smile. "Thank you Stephanie for this incredible opportunity. I promise you will not regret this decision." she said before leaving her office.

She sat down on a bench, pinching herself to make sure she wasn't dreaming. And sure enough, she wasn't.

"I'm going to be in a storyline with John Cena." She said quietly, trying to contain her excitement.

"I should tell all of me friends." She said, taking out her phone. Then she stopped herself.

Maybe she shouldn't. Maybe she should wait before telling her friends.

Stephanie probably would want to keep it a secret.

She put her phone away and headed into the women's locker room to change into her workout clothes.
