The mission took months of planning. Planning had begun in November of last year; it was now almost May. The mission wasn't simple, and it wasn't an easy one. It required a lot of searching for those still loyal to All For One or simply wanted to extinguish the Symbol of Peace, All Might. At first, their numbers were small; only a few had come to the call until they learned who was the mastermind behind the operation. Then, as the word spread as to what All For One and his pupil were planning, more came to serve. The mission was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for most of these villains, one they could only dream of, raiding U.A., the largest and most renown Hero School in Japan, and killing All Might. Now, they had a small army at their disposal.

One of their largest assets was the blackmist they called Kurogiri. His Quirk allowed him to teleport himself and others from one space to another with ease. Another valuable asset was a villain that went by the name of Tesla. His Quirk, called Electric Charge, allowed him to harvest and manipulate electrical currents, giving him the ability to block radio waves. And most importantly, what was dubbed the "Anti-Symbol of Peace," a mindless biological engineered humanoid called Nomu. The thing was a sight to behold, standing over 195 cm tall and with muscles that no human, not even All Might, could possess, purple taut skin littered with scaring, a face of a bird, and its brain fully exposed. It was the definition of a monster. Its sole purpose was to be a counter to All Might, in both physicality and strength, holding a Quirk that allowed it to absorb the shock of physical damage. It would be the one to kill All Might.

Intel took until April to receive. A child currently attending U.A. whose family was indebted to All For One was feeding them information as to where the best place would be to corner All Might. The students will be attending a training workshop at U.S.J. or Unforeseen Simulation Joint, a place for U.A. students to learn and practice disaster rescue. They were told only 3 Pro-Heroes would be in attendance with the class of students, Aizawa "Eraserhead" Shota, Kurose "Thirteen" Anan, and their main target, All Might.

It was the perfect place for the invasion; it was far enough away from the main campus that others would be none the wiser. Once the security system was disabled, the students and the Pros would be locked in with no way out or a way to communicate with the outside world. They'd be utterly trapped within the building. Kurogiri could separate the students while also using his Quirk to block off the main entrance and the main escape route. His other objective was to discard Thirteen, as her Quirk could potentially be devastating to Kurogiri and the mission.

It was an excellent plan, but one Takahashi Yumi would not see come to light.

Her duties were simple: help organize those who planned to help with the invasion, informing them of their duties and what All For One and his pupil, Shigaraki Tomura, expect of them. They would not disappoint, or Shigaraki would dispose of them after the raid. She, along with Kurogiri, helped provide them with important information such as dates and times and where to meet for the final day. Her other duties consisted of using her Quirk to prevent those who wished to do Tomura harm simply because he was a young man bossing them around.

Takahashi Yumi's Quirk was one that many within villain circles who knew of her, feared, just as they feared Shigaraki Tomura's decay. All For One called it the shadow of Shigaraki. Mental manipulation. With a single touch, Yumi can leave those who oppose her or mean to cause her harm in a mental prison of pain and torment, unable to escape until she allowed it, leaving her victims in a state of psychological agony. Time moved faster within; years could pass whilst only seconds passed in the real world. Those who know of it or have been unlucky enough to experience it have referred to her Quirk as a living hell.

That wasn't the only use of her Quirk. There were positives to her as well. She could pass on information secretly by entering those she touches minds, leave messages with them that will only be of use when the right time comes, and she'd use her Quirk to place others in tranquil and peaceful states. That was her duty to All For One. She was his lullaby when the pain of those whose Quirk he'd stolen became unbearable, when their voices and screams became too much, she'd be at his beck and call to soothe him to sleep.

All For One had said if her Quirk worked on herself, he would of taken it a long time ago, but since it only worked on others, he's allowed her to keep it and has allowed her to live. This was all good fun, of course, he had said, he never dreamed of hurting her or stealing her Quirk.

Yumi never believed him for reasons she'd never share with him or Tomura. See, there was a drawback to her Quirk she never told her Sensei or her lifelong companion, when she used it, she saw and heard everything that went on inside their heads. How else would she know what brought All For One peace or what strangers' greatest fears were? When questioned about it, she had said she had no control over what others saw. But this was a lie. It had always been a lie. She knew what tortured All For One; she heard the screams and the voices too, but she heard other things, whispers of his true intentions for her and Shigaraki Tomura.

Yumi came to be in All For One's care when she was only five. Her Quirk had been a mutation, just as Tomura's had. Her family, wealthy, and prosperous business owners, deemed her Quirk too much. At a young age, she was unable to control it, and after she accidentally caused a nanny to kill herself, her grandfather had left her in All For One's care. Originally, her grandfather had asked All For One to simply steal her Quirk and give her a new one or simply leave her Quirkless, but All For One had a better idea. Her family could pretend Yumi died in a tragic accident. This would benefit the Takahashi family greatly, as many were sure to come to her funeral in sympathy. Her grandfather accepted.

She had met Shigaraki Tomura when he was still just a boy of seven and learning how to control his Quirk. She also began teaching on how to control her Quirk. The favors to All For One, late nights in his arms as she put him to sleep, wasn't until she was much older and was able to give him the relief he needed. Her visits started when she was eleven and became more frequent when she was thirteen after All For One lost to All Might and was forced to recover in hiding under the care of Dr. Kyudai Garaki.

The true intentions of hers and Tomura's place were known to her by age sixteen. Yumi had always wondered why All For One had not given her his last name as he had done for Tomura or did not call himself her father or Tomura her brother, because she wasn't meant to be that. She was meant to be groomed into some kind of a monarch to All For One and Tomura, once his growth was completed. All For One's plans for Tomura were for him to become the next All For One but by next him, he means to merge him and Tomura into something new, which would completely erase Shigaraki from existence.

She hadn't planned on it. She believes no one plans on it, but she couldn't help herself. She fell in love with the boy she met when she was young. The boy who was mean to her, bullied her but also showed care and shared joy with her in his own way. For her birthday last year, he had gotten a custom-made Playstation controller for her, so she had her own when they played video games together. He let her sit in his room and watch him play video games or watch movies or TV shows or anime together. The one she made origami for even if in the beginning he dusted them and said he hated them but eventually started to keep them on a shelf next to his desk. The one that called her a baby and threatened to kill her when she complained about losing to him in video games, now coaches her on how to do better button combos. The one that trusts her for protection and advice.

All For One knows. He knows she did exactly what he wanted her to. Fall in love with Tomura, so it would be easier to fall in love with him when the time comes. But that wouldn't happen. Yumi will do everything in her power to never let All For One have Shigaraki Tomura, even if she has to die to do so. But for now, she has to play along.

"Yumi," Tomura's voice broke the tense silence that hung over the Kamino bar. Tomorrow was the day of the raid, and she could tell Shigaraki was nervous. He'd scratch at his neck more frequently as the day grew nearer. "Stop spoiling the damn thing."

The monstrous Nomu gifted to Shigaraki for tomorrow was crouched at her feet. She was feeding it bits of bread. Nomus didn't need to eat. They didn't need anything. Dr. Garaki made sure of that. But that didn't mean they didn't like snacks.

"You both have a big day tomorrow. If you spoiled him more, maybe he'd like you more." She teased.

"I don't need him to like me, I need him to obey me."

Part of her responsibilities were to work with Dr. Garaki on his Nomu experiments. Her Quirk made the brainwashing and obedience a lot easier for him. He said that since utilizing her Quirk, Nomu success rates have skyrocketed.

The Nomu at her feet was one she worked with extensively. At first, the beast didn't listen to her nor Dr. Garaki, but eventually, she calmed it. It listened to those she told it to listen to, specifically Shigaraki Tomura.

"He listens to you well enough." The thing let out a small trill asking for more. She provided more while simultaneously petting its beak.

Tomura scoffed at the gesture. "You know he doesn't feel anything. Why do you treat it like a child?"

"Let her have her fun, Tomura." Sensei's voice called from the speakers of the television. "You can't blame her. She is a woman, after all. It is in her nature to want to care for things."

She hated the way he spoke of her. It was always so demeaning. How had she not realized this when she was younger? But she kept her mouth shut and continued to spoil the terrifying creature.

"Whatever." Shigaraki huffed, "As long as it's ready for tomorrow, I don't care what she does."

"It's more than ready, isn't that right, Nomu?" Yumi patted his beak again, getting a sort of happy trill in response. She felt Tomura sneering at her, but she didn't care. She had little joys and making a terrifying creature who would send any weaker man screaming, docile and, like a puppy, made her happy.

Tomura had left the hideout for the night, returning home to try and rest before tomorrow. Yumi stayed behind, unable to keep her worries of what's to come suppressed. Without her there, she wouldn't be able to help Shigaraki if needed.

"Sensei," Yumi turned towards the TV screen that displayed nothing but white static. She knew he was listening, she didn't need to wait for a response. "Why am I not allowed to go with Tomura again?"

Her sensei chuckled, "You're very stubborn, my dear."

"Don't you think it would be better for Tomura, the mission, if I went with?" Yumi argued, "My Quirk is the only one that can completely immobilize the Pros."

Her Sensei was silent. She knew he was trying to come up with the most believable answer to her question, the one that would leave her the most docile. Sensei was an intelligent man, his years of running the underground and only falling five years ago has given him many skills, many of which he has expertly used on she and Shigaraki.

"Tomura is in need of learning on his own." He finally responded, with an answer he knew she wouldn't argue with since it gave the illusion her absence benefited Tomura. "If you are there, you'll make thing too easy for him. He has to learn how to problem solve on his own. Your Quirk will be required further on once he has reached a point of growth."

Yumi looked away from the television, hanging her head. She was trying desperately not to fight him on this, "And if something happens to Tomura?"

"Kurogiri will be with him and you know I would never let anything happen to him or to you."

That was a lie. She was expendable, just as much as Tomura was. He could easily take her Quirk and give it to another. All For One had many backups in case Tomura were to fail or die. She knew Tomura meant little to All For One and he would easily be replaced if anything were to happen.

Yumi would never allow this. She'd never allow him to fail or die or allow All For One to take everything from Shigaraki Tomura.
