Disclaimer: Here we go with my first attempt at a Paw Patrol X special! Here's how this will go down. There will be three parts of this special, like there are with the season premieres and finales of the main story, and there will be four plots present throughout the runtime; one with Flare and Snow, one with Marshall and Everest, one with Chase and Skye, and one with Zuma and Rocky. I hope you all like what this special has to offer!

Also, I don't own Paw Patrol.

Paw Patrol X: A Paw Patrol Christmas Part One

It was Christmas Eve in Adventure Bay, and to celebrate, the town was full of decorations and festivities for the Adventure Bay Christmas Festival that night. Diane Goodway was in the main plaza, making sure everything was set up just right, and even got up early that morning to make sure the festival would make everyone feel Christmas joy. She was looking at her schedule to see who she had assigned on what, and Mr. Porter and Alex were revealed to have Flare helping them. She couldn't help looking at the Adventure Bay Lookout as she smiled about this. "This should be fun to see."

Flare was currently in the living room of the Paw Patrol lookout, and he was currently rummaging through his stocking, which was hung up on the fireplace in between Marshall's and Snow's. While he was doing this, Marshall took notice when coming out of his room and couldn't help but walk over with a sly grin. "Flare, Blaze, Munroe." Marshall sat in front of the stocking and couldn't help but mess with Flare a little more as he squirmed in his stocking "You cheeky little de-" only for...

PFFFFFT

...Flare to accidentally let out a green fart cloud onto Marshall, and even though it smelled like candy canes, it still caught Marshall off guard enough to make him start coughing. Flare then climbed into his stocking and poked his head out with a cheeky grin as he playfully denied his fart to mess with Marshall. "Gee Marshall! You must be excited to fart in your own face like that!"

Flare snickered a bit with Marshall rolling his eyes while smiling as he then wafted the fart away and made another one of his corny puns. "Regardless, you young man, were mistletotally busted!" Marshall took out some kind of bell effect and pressed it, causing a one to appear on the stick as Marshall commented on it. "One down, eleven to go!"

Flare hopped out of his stocking as he asked about the bell stick, unsure of why Marshall had it. "Is this a new Christmas game I didn't know about?"

"Everest gave it to me as an early Christmas present for a bet we have going on." Marshall explained, and then he spoke up about what exactly the bet was. "If I can make twelve puns on Christmas Eve, she'll have to have a sleepover with Chase whenever he's having extra nighttime gas. And I'll have to do it if I lose."

Flare couldn't help but snicker at that idea, knowing how much torture it was gonna be for them both. "Then you'd better get to your Christmas pun shopping!" Flare and Marshall couldn't help but laugh at the bad pun. The two of them knew that today was gonna be full of them.

The Paw Patrol were then shown to be helping out with the festivities of the Adventure Bay Christmas Festival as the words 'Paw Patrol X: A Paw Patrol Christmas' appeared on the screen. After the title vanished, Flare was shown with Mr. Porter and Alex as he helped them with the baked goods of the festival. Alex tasted one of the cookies Flare baked, and the taste melted his mouth upon impact. Marshall, Snow, and Everest were currently setting up the festival decorations. Snow was currently holding Marshall's ladder so he didn't fall while Marshall and Everest did the decorating.

Skye was doing her own set of decorating as well with Chase nearby setting up some festival specific cones while she set up decorations around the booths. She saw him constantly looking at his checklist and couldn't help but giggle at how dedicated Chase was to getting this whole thing done in the best way he could. Rocky and Zuma were the last to be shown, as Zuma was performing at the festival that night, and he and Rocky were getting it all set up for his show.

Rocky noticed that Zuma wasn't exactly in the best mood and felt it wouldn't hurt to ask so he didn't feel like his feelings were being ignored. "You're still not big on Christmas, huh?"

Zuma sighed in response as he showed his despondence, clearly not being the biggest fan of Christmas with what he said next. "Nope. Can't say I am."

Flare's Christmas Distaste senses started tingling as he set down some Christmas themed cupcakes and signaled Mr. Porter that he'd be back soon. He then dashed over to Zuma at seemingly lightspeed and surprised him and Rocky when he stared Zuma directly in the eyes with a death stare. "You take that back."

Marshall suddenly sensed that Flare was upset and looked in the direction he was in after finishing with one of the banners. "Flare?" Marshall suddenly lost his footing and started rolling down the ladder. "Whoa!" Thankfully, Snow reacted quickly and stepped out of the way, and she and Everest ran over to Marshall as he rolled over to Flare, Zuma, and Rocky. Chase and Skye weren't near them, so they didn't notice. When Marshall got up and shook his head, he got his second pun of the day out of the way. "That's one way to roll down the street."

And as Marshall hit the bell for his second pun of the day, Everest laughed as the others called him out on it. "Marshall!"

The other pups then laughed together for a bit before Zuma explained to Flare what he meant him about not liking Christmas. "It's mowe of a pewsonal thing for me Flawe. It's kind of been like that ever since my pawents got taken away. The one Chwistmas I spent at the owphange was... less than ideal." Flare was starting to get the picture as Zuma then lamented on how much he missed spending time with his parents. "I only weally got to spend one Chwistmas with my mom and dad that I can wemember. I only pewform in this festival to honor them."

Flare started to get an idea on how to help Zuma, not wanting him to feel left out in the Christmas fun. "What if you found your mom and dad and got to see them? Would that make you start to like Christmas again?"

Zuma was taken aback by that question. He hadn't considered that outcome before. He started to think about it as he admitted to Flare that it wasn't out of the question. "I don't see why that WOULDN'T be a weasonable outcome." Flare was glad that he was getting somewhere with Zuma admitting that him not liking Christmas most likely wouldn't be forever. "And even then, don't think too hawd about it Flawe. Maybe someday, I'll stawt liking Chwistmas in the same way evewyone else does."

Flare couldn't help but ask about one particular outcome that statement could imply. "Like if you and Rocky ever have a family?"

Rocky and Zuma then blushed as they spoke in sync in regards to what Flare just asked them. "Us!? What are you talking about!? We're not dating! Are we!? I don't know!" Rocky and Zuma then blushed even harder as they looked at each other and realized what they were saying. The two pups then looked away from each other and tried to hide what they said. "We weren't talking!"

Everest could sense the tension in the air and quickly got Marshall's attention so they could avoid the climax. "I think we should focus on making puns and making the place look more festive."

"Good call." Marshall responded while smiling, knowing that this would be an awkward thing to loom over all day. "Oooh; maybe we can make some ice colored balloons for the festival!"

"That'd be awesome! We'll need a specific kind of blue though."

"There should be one in the Lookout garage! Let's go!"

Marshall and Everest took off for their trucks with Flare then shown whispering something to Snow as she wondered if what he was planning would work out. "Would that work?"

Flare shrugged, and then Snow figured why not, so Flare called over to Marshall. "Hey Marshall; we'll be coming too! Just give us a second!" Flare ran over to Mr. Porter and Alex to check and see if they would be okay without him. "You two don't mind taking over from here, do you? I've got some personal stuff to attend to."

"Not at all Flare." Mr. Porter assured Flare, and then he divided the sweets to let everyone know who made what. "You've already made more than enough to fill your quota!"

"And my stomach when I can get my hands on them." Alex chimed in, leaving Flare to giggle a bit, being glad that his hard work was being used for a good cause.

Meanwhile, Chase and Skye were decorating the activity stands and getting them set up as Chase finished setting cones for the petting zoo entrance. After he was done setting them up, he sat right at the entrance of the petting zoo while staring proudly at his work. "Once again Chase Armitage; you, did, good." Chase then saw Skye backflip over the cones and over to him while yipping, and when she walked over to him, the two nuzzled as Chase proudly boasted about his work. "A perfect job once again Skye. How am I so consistent with this?"

"Probably because you overload yourself with a checklist like Rocky does, and you love helping people like we all do." Skye pointed out, and Chase saw her point as she gestured him to the decorations she set up by the game stands with prizes. "I think I did a pretty great job myself."

Chase got a look at what Skye did and couldn't help but agree with her. She clearly put in a lot of effort in making them snow themed, especially the dunk tank. "I'd hate to be in water if it was THAT cold. I'd feel like Rocky except freezing cold."

"That's the idea." Skye admitted, and then she gave a giggle before she and Chase got a look at the animals. She couldn't help but coo at some of them, especially the rabbits. She did have to question why there were rabbits there though. "As much as I love them, what are rabbits doing in a winter related event?"

"Rocky looked it up, and apparently rabbits do better when the weather's cold." Chase explained, and he and Skye continued to watch the rabbits hopping around in their section. "Plus, I knew you'd love it we got to make them part of the attraction."

"Awww; thanks Chase. You're the sweetest." Skye kissed Chase on his left cheek, making him smile as he licked her right cheek.

Skye couldn't help but giggle at the feeling of Chase's tongue on her cheek as he responded to her statement about him. "I'll be whatever you want me to be Skye. Well, except for evil, but I don't think I'll have to worry about that." Skye nodded her head no with a smile, assuring Chase that she loved him just the way he was.

Marshall and Everest were currently looking for paint in the garage with Everest still being amazed by how big it was as her hyper side was showing. "I still can't believe how big this garage is! You could fit an entire gang of motorcycles in here!"

Marshall thought about how that would happen as he then saw the paint cans, running over to them and tripping over his own two feet. He then rolled into the paint cans, causing them to go flying and splatter across the garage. Everest was able to avoid getting splattered herself, and Marshall then got up and said "I'm okay!" with a wide smile on his face, before a bucket of green paint splattered on him. Everest went over to check on him as Marshall knocked the can off of him and found the paint can they needed right next to him. "Well that certainly painted a funny picture." Marshall and Everest laughed at the pun with Marshall pressing the bell and getting three puns of the twelve he needed to win the bet.

Meanwhile, Flare and Snow were on Chase's laptop as Snow expressed reluctance regarding his plan. "This could backfire on us Flare. Chase doesn't show his knowledge in the police force to just anyone."

"I could've guessed that. That's why I brought YOU with me!" Flare explained, knowing that Chase would be more than trusting enough to his partner to show her the info he had in the force. The two of them looked under the name 'Zuma Thorne', and they saw a file that showed his family. "I think that's it." Snow clicked on the file and it showed two Chocolate Labradors, much to Flare's joy especially, and also Snow's. "Yes! I knew they'd have to have something!"

Snow started to think about something, but decided to brush it off for now with Flare noticing the concerned look as she read the names of the Chocolate Labradors. "Celeste and Gabe Thorne. (Looks at Flare with a smile) Somehow I pictured Zuma having a mother with a name like Celeste."

"Well now that we know them, let's head on down to the nearest police station! They've gotta be possible to find since it says they're super close to Adventure Bay!" Flare and Snow hi fived, being ready to see Zuma's parents and to hopefully help Zuma see them again.

Speaking of Zuma, he and Rocky were still getting the stage ready with Rocky screwing a nail in as Zuma did some rehearsal for his song. Once Rocky got that screwed in, he hopped onto the stage and walked over to Zuma, being curious as to the kind of song he was going to be singing this year. "So what song did you have in mind for the festival this time?"

Zuma smiled upon hearing that. He couldn't help but be glad whenever Rocky took an interest in his work. "It's nothing all upbeat and family pweachy. It's just a song I wrote about how people should be allowed to spend Chwistmas however they please. Basically it's awesome spending it with family, but it should be THEIW choice to do it."

"And also that they shouldn't be shamed for wanting to spend Christmas in their own way." Rocky chimed in, and Zuma nodded his head yes, confirming his theory.

"I just hope I don't sound too gwinchy when I sing it later tonight." Zuma admitted, being conflicted on whether or not his song would project the wrong idea. "If I sing it the wrong way then people could think I'm saying to get dwunk at the bar like some dude without a life. And despite my own pewsonal thoughts on how typical Chwistmas songs are made, encouwaging people to cut their family off completely is the last thing I wanna do."

Rocky patted Zuma's shoulder with a smile, knowing that he would never try to give people a bad message. "I think those songs are made to remind people that the family who stick around and support you are important."

"I guess. I still think wishing them a mewwy Chwistmas is enough to show that you cawe about them though, since you'we still in contact with them if you do that." Zuma responded, and Rocky got where he was coming from, despite the cynicism of the whole idea. Zuma just hoped his song didn't come off as TOO cynical for people to hear.

Flare and Snow were riding into the next town over, which was was called Foggybottom, and was covered in fog as Snow was heard talking to Everest with her pup tag. "Thanks for letting us borrow your snowmobile Everest. We'll bring it back as soon as we can."

"Not a problem." Everest assured Snow as she and Marshall finished putting up another set of snow colored balloons. "Just try not to damage it too much. I don't wanna inconvenience Ryder too much after just one month."

"You got it." Snow responded, and then she and Everest hung up as Snow then got a look at where they were. When she and Flare hopped out, there were a bunch of cats all around eyeing them; some with confusion, and others with hostility. "Guess it's true what they say about this place."

Flare got a look around as well and seemed a little confused by the cats behavior. The humans also seemed surprised to see dogs in town. "It's pretty weird, yeah. But there has to be at least ONE resident in town who'll help us."

Just then, a motorcycle was heard from nearby with Flare and Snow looking ahead to find an orange cat about Zuma's age wearing a white track suit riding on over to them. He skidded to a stop upon seeing them, and it was clear that he had that daredevil esc aesthetic that people with motorcycles usually give off, both with his daredevil smile and his carefree sitting position. He then hopped down and took his helmet off as he greeted the two of them. "Not very often we see dogs in this neighborhood. (Holds out his claw) Names Wildcat. Don't take the looks personally; some of them are just surprised."

Flare happily shook Wildcat's paw and smiled upon meeting him with Snow remaining somewhat cautious. "I'm Flare!" Wildcat observed Flare and Snow and instantly recognized who Snow was, which Flare decided to take a guess at. "I take it you know who Snow is?"

"Sure do!" Wildcat said proudly, and then he shook Snow's paw when she grabbed his to shake it as he spoke up. "Chase's partner in the Paw Patrol, right?"

Snow was surprised to meet a cat who knew about her. The only cat she met besides Cali was an elder cat who was close to death. "Yep. That's right."

Marshall and Everest were setting up another group of balloons as Chase and Skye came over and got a look at their little display. Both Marshall and Everest were excited to show it off with Marshall doing the introduction. "It's like snow that's staying in the air Chase! It'll be perfect for Zuma's show tonight!"

Chase and Skye saw what Marshall was getting at with Chase happily agreeing to Marshall's words. "You sure know how to pick em Marshall. I know I'd wanna perform in a setting like this. If I played anyway. Playing the drums always sounded like a fun hobby."

Everest got a look at the petting zoo and got excited to see what kinds of animals were in there. "Is the petting zoo ready? Are there penguins? Blink twice if the petting zoo are penguins!" Chase and Skye blinked twice with Everest getting even more excited as she ran on over, since there was no line. "Yes!" Chase, Marshall, and Skye ran after Everest, who instantly walked into the petting zoo and went over to the penguins, who seemed to like her warm presence. "Hey there cuties. Who wants to be hugged first?"

The penguins all walked over to Everest, who was happy to have them all ready to be hugged with the other three walking in as Skye pointed that out. "Excitable, friendly, AND gets along with birds. (Looks at Marshall) Must be good for a certain someone if I do say so myself Marshall."

Marshall saw what Skye was getting at, chuckling nervously a bit since Everest was nearby when she said it. He walked over and petted one of them as he spoke up about that. "If that's true, let's hope the carrier penguin delivers the news safely." Marshall and Everest laughed at the pun with Chase and Skye rolling their eyes while smiling. Marshall then took out his bell and counted that as the fourth pun of his needed twelve.

Near the petting zoo, Rocky and Zuma were now finished setting up the stage and playing some of the festival games. Zuma was taking a crack at the dunk tank game and made absolutely sure that his aim was on point. He held his ball tightly, and then spun his arm around before throwing at max speed, hitting the target. Captain Turbot then fell into the tank of cold water, causing him to shiver as Zuma then picked out his prize from the table. He found himself a pet goldfish, which he smiled upon the sight of. "Hope ya like dogs little dude."

Zuma then saw that Rocky was playing the can knocking down game and threw his ball at one of the stands with his claw, hitting all of the pins. He pumped his fist upon doing that and won himself a stuffed seal. "Thank you." Rocky then went over to Zuma, and the two of them were glad to see themselves having a good time. "See? I knew you could have a good time during the holidays." Zuma smiled when he heard that. He couldn't deny that Rocky was right.

Flare and Snow were now arriving at the police station with Wildcat, who they informed of their little mission. He decided to head in with them, since he knew it would be awkward if they went in without a cat. "Let's hope we can get what you guys came here for. Zuma needs to know his parents are okay."

"That's why we're here." Flare responded, and then he went into the police station with Snow and Wildcat, walking up to the receptionist counter, where the human saw them coming and was caught off guard. Flare put on his usual happy smile and explained what they were doing there. "Hi there ma'am. We're here for Celeste and Gabe Thorne. We heard they might be here."

The receptionist took note of that and gestured Flare and Snow to the waiting area. "They waiting area is over there. Someone will see you about them soon." Flare, Snow, and Wildcat did as instructed as the receptionist pressed a button on her phone. "It's about the Thorne parents. Get someone out here as soon as possible."

When Flare, Snow, and Wildcat sat down in the waiting area, Flare started playing with his feet to pass the time as Snow asked about the way she and Snow were being looked at around here. "If you don't mind me asking Wildcat, why does this place seem so weirded out by the sight of me and Flare?"

"They're just not used to seeing dogs in town is all." Wildcat explained, and then he gave a detail as to why that was. "Mayor Humdinger is a big cat person, and he knows dogs used to be the natural enemies of cats." That caught Flare's attention. He'd never heard about THAT before. "I think he's just stuck in the past though. I know there are still some dogs and cats out there who can't move on of the past either."

Flare was definitely surprised when he heard that one. He'd have to ask Marshall about it when they got back. "Good thing Adventure Bay is friendly to ALL animals." Wildcat saw that Flare was just learning about this and patted his head with a smile to comfort him. Snow also saw a cat giving her a dirty look next to her, growling at him to make him leave her alone, which he did in an instant.

Rocky and Zuma were at the lookout as Rocky filled up a fishbowl for Zuma's new goldfish to live in. When he brought it over to Zuma and set it down on the dining room table, Zuma put his new goldfish in and revealed a name he had in mind for it. "Thanks Wocky. (Rocky nods) I'm thinking I should name him something like, Goldtooth. Like how some people name theiw fishes Godly, but with an edgy side to it."

"Goldtooth." Rocky thought about the name itself, and while he wasn't entirely sure it worked with a goldfish, and decided to offer a suggestion. "It's certainly original. Perhaps Doubloon could work better, though."

Zuma had to admit; Rocky was waaaay better with names than him. That name just clicked with him. "That could make him sound kinda like a piwate!" Rocky nodded his head yes in response and grabbed a piece of paper that was on the table and ripped some of it off. He then wrote Doubloon on it with Rocky getting some tape from his pup pack, which he then used to stick it on for Zuma. Doubloon looked at Zuma with the Chocolate Labrador smiling at the little goldfish. "Pewfect."

Just then, Rocky got a call on his pup phone from Marshall, and he answered to see what he wanted. "Yes Marshall?"

Marshall was shown to be smiling on the other end as he was shown by some kind of icy pond. "Hi Rocky! Chase, Skye, Everest and I headed down to the lake to do some ice skating and stuff like that. You and Zuma wanna join us?"

"Snowy fun with friends, huh?" Rocky looked to Zuma, who nodded in response with Rocky then giving Marshall the answer. "We'll be right there!" Rocky and Zuma got down from the table, picking up Doubloon to put into Zuma's room before they headed off to the lake.

Rocky and Zuma arrived at the lake to find their friends getting themselves ready for a snowball fight. Marshall and Everest were on one side, and Chase and Skye were on the other. The two nodded to each other with Zuma heading over to Chase and Skye's team as Rocky went over to Marshall and Everest. Marshall was glad to have Rocky on his team. "Get yourself ready Rocky. Chase has to be a master at snowball games by this point."

"Oh, I'd know." Rocky assured Marshall, being well aware of how good Chase was. "Some of his snowballs can move as fast as a stampeding wildebeest!"

Chase was forming up a snowball with Zuma seeing some of the pre-made ones and getting a gross idea. Once everyone was set up, Chase called out to everyone to start the game. "Alright everyone! Time to get your snowball on!" And everyone moved out, getting ready for their snowball showdown as Everest instantly hit Skye in the chest with a snowball. Skye then threw one at Everest, who made one on the spot and threw one back at her. Just then, when Marshall tried to hit Chase as he threw one at Rocky, he ended up tripping and hitting his face in the snow.

The snowball fell right beside Chase, who gave Marshall a smug grin as Marshall looked up with a smile. "I'm okay!" He then got hit with a yellow snowball, one that was a little more wet than the rest. Marshall instantly got a whiff of the snowball, along with Chase, and he couldn't help but give a surprised laugh as he called Zuma out, since Zuma was shown preparing another one for them with a cheeky grin on his face as he tossed one up gently. "Zuma; that's disgusting!"

"That's the idea." Zuma wound up a throw after dodging a snowball from Chase, and Chase was able to dodge it with Marshall getting back up as Zuma taunted them. "Nevew undewestimate the pwanking mastew!" Zuma laughed a bit with Chase snickering a bit as he looked to Marshall with an idea. While Rocky, Skye, and Everest continued the game, Chase formed a snowball and looked back at his butt to signal Marshall, who quickly caught on. Marshall nodded to Chase, picking up a snowball, and he and Chase put the snowballs up to their butts before...

...the Dalmatian and German Shepherd let out five second farts in sync, catching everyone else's attention, with Marshall's reeking of moldy cheese, and Chases reeking of burnt eggs. The two then gave cheeky grins and glares to Zuma, who gave a competitive smile and picked up another pre-made snowball, dodging Marshall's snowball with ease before Chase, who perfectly aimed his, snowball to where Zuma was going to land, and he hit Zuma in the face, causing him to start gagging at the smell of the snowball as he fell to his knees. "Dude! That's gnawly!"

Chase and Marshall then hi fived before walking over to Zuma with Marshall making another pun to taunt him over getting hit with Chase's fartball. "Not gonna lie. That prank sure was a gas." Marshall then took out his bell and hit it again, leaving him at five puns in total, with Chase snickering at the bad pun, leaving Zuma to have a deadpan look before smirking and throwing a snowball at Zuma's face "Ow!", leading to all three of the pups laughing in sync as the other three walked over to them with their snowballs.

Skye was quick to speak up about the incident, playfully jabbing at them as she darted her eyes to Everest. "Boys will be boys I guess."

"Guess or not, we're still in a snowblal fight." Everest chimed in, and then she looked to the others to see if they were still up for it. "Are you guys still playing or what?" Chase, Marshall, and Zuma took note of that reminder and made their own snowballs, and then the six pups continued playing as the snowball fight continued.

Back in Foggybottom, Flare, Snow, and Wildcat were still waiting for their request to be answered in the waiting room. Flare was thinking about what Snow and Wildcat were talking about before. How can someone be 'stuck in the past' as Wildcat worded it? He felt it wouldn't hurt to ask about that. "Hey Wildcat?" Wildcat looked at Flare, who hoped he wasn't being invasive with this question. "Earlier, you told Snow that Humdinger was... 'stuck in the past', I think it was. (Wildcat flinches) What did you mean by that?"

Wildcat wasn't exactly sure how to answer that. It was clear that Flare didn't know the specific event he was referring to. The event in question wasn't easy to explain either. "How do I word this? You know what a war is, right?"

Flare's question made it pretty clear that he had a loose, but believable, idea of war. "Is that the one where two different kinds fight each other for dominance."

"Something like that." Wildcat admitted, knowing that this wasn't going to be an easy pill for Flare to swallow. "I only ever read about it, but it was during a pretty dark period in time. About eighty something years ago, dogs and cats were at war with each other because of how different they were. This was around the time the two kinds were starting to become more like humans in terms of communication. They were always at odds with one another, but it was starting to get at an all time high."

Flare was shocked to hear about this, and couldn't help but ask if what he was hearing actually happened. "Dogs and cats used to hate each other? To the point of murder?"

Wildcat nodded his head yes, and Snow started paying close attention as well, since she started to notice what was going on as Wildcat continued. "Eventually, after some democratic debate, the cats decided to invite the dogs who had the most power to a dinner in their homeland. After getting to know each other, they realized they weren't all that different."

Snow was baffled by that point, having to point out how dumb that sounded in theory. "Wait; so the cats won our support by giving us free food?"

"And both sides leaders apologizing for the death and destruction that was caused from their own ignorance and agreeing to reach a democracy." Wildcat pointed out, and then he assured Snow that it wasn't as easy as it sounded. "It didn't just happen though. Lots of residents from both sides were still unsure of what to make of the other. And some couldn't bring themselves to let go of their prejudice. It took years for the peace to fully happen too."

Snow was still a little confused with Flare noticing and giving his own theory on what happened. "I think he means that it took a lot of time and effort for dogs and cats to reach a full understanding."

"That does make sense." Snow admitted, still wondering how the canines and felines were able to get past all of that. "That's still a lot of grief and suffering though. And I still don't forgive my parents for what they did to me and Everest."

Wildcat sensed doubt and was quick to assure Snow that she wasn't wrong for that. "Forgiveness is different with everyone Snow. The canines and felines from long ago had different circumstances, and eventually realized that they would have to put in some effort in a way past violence to achieve piece." Flare and Snow listened closely as Wildcat then gave a new piece of trivia for them. "Some people can change, and everyone deserves at least once chance to PROVE they can change. And as sad as it is, change isn't possible for everyone in the world."

Flare started to feel bad for those who couldn't change. At least the bad ones who couldn't do so. "So... some people can't be redeemed?"

"Sadly, no." Wildcat then put on a smile, bringing in a positive side to the situation. "That said, the canines and felines from eighty years ago were able to reach a mutual understanding with each other, and forge a new path to peace. With that, the world got one step closer to evolving, and it's a huge part in what led to us living in the world we do now." Flare smiled when he heard that, and continued to when Wildcat finished his statement. "They fought through the worst of their time. And together, they got through good times, and bad times, to give us what we have now. Even is the start was as unideal as it could get."

Flare had to agree with that, and then he heard the receptionist call for his name. "Wildcat! An officer is finally ready to see your new... canine friends!"

Wildcat then gave Flare one more piece of advice for what could help him later down the line. "And one way we can keep that peace the canines and felines from before worked so hard to get, is to do what you two are doing right now: Helping someone out of the goodness of your heart." Flare and Snow looked at each other upon hearing that and knew what they had to do. They gave their signature hi five and walked off with Wildcat to convince the officer they were speaking with to finally let Zuma see his parents again.

To be continued.

Flare then spoke up as a black screen showed the title for the next part. "Next time: A Paw Patrol Christmas, Part Two!
