Into this bloodbath, it was the beginning to the end of the infamous Elder God Shinnok. There was a rise in violence, arise for a revolution as the undead rose to their desires of bloodthirst. A rise for demons to fight.

Our eyes upon a young demon, Eyes of sanguine lust and the demeanor of obscurity. Kether was her name. For most of her knowledge and life, she resides in the netherrealm where the fiery heat forever burned the air and the ultraviolence spread through the common land.

Although she was a spirit and entity of evil she was completely different from all the other demons, a bewitching being of the netherrealm. colors of vivid red were her attire, it complimented her skin and her appearance along the way. But the platinum blonde locks embraced her head and shoulders. Her life was mostly stale, a life that wasn't filled with much astounding entertainment.

For her past life, it was an unknown mystery but that didn't make her dwell too much on it, the obscurity of her ancient past was eons ago as she was a couple of thousand years old. On the invasion of netherrealm, the great Shinnok was the host, the maker of all of the evil conundrum to be set arise.

Kether personally was not fond of Shinnok or wanted to be one of his little subordinates, Kether was a being of her own and only desired to do what she wished. Netherrealm consists of rocks, lava, and rough territories besides the cathedral of Shinnok and the revenants. Kether resides in her little domain, a comfortably secluded cave in the outskirts of the netherrealm.

Kether was not alone for most of the time, it was not a preferable element in her lifestyle; an oni demon that was one of the natives of the netherrealm. This one was always tethered to Kether like a lackey, a little minion willing to do anything for her.

"Malo." Her sweet voice had a hint of an accent, western European. Malo was an imp, winged creature of grotesque features, he smiled when his voice was called "Do you hear it? The demons upstairs are gathering for the invasion soon."

Malo was Kether's constant companion, her loyal stooge. A few of his demonic brethren also resided in Kether's domain.

"I've been stuck here for eons and I am becoming... Bored." Said Kether in a bored voice. She then raised an eyebrow as if expecting something to happen.

"Why haven't I attempted to leave The netherrealm? Am I truly that lazy?!" Malo, who was impishly dancing around in circles, paused mid-dance to answer her with a wicked grin.

"You are indeed that lazy." He said. "Imp." Kether shot down at him with her red eyes.

"How dare you insult me?!" With those words, Kether attacked Malo. All the little imps were terrified of the beautiful demon. When Kether was in a frenzy, she could cause earthquakes. Kether need some air out of her domain and left for a bit to see a crowd of other demons heading in one direction. She loved the pandemonium that always followed.

Kether walked through the air until she found a place where she could get a bird's eye view over the demon invasion. The little imp appeared by her side and wondered what she was going to do. "What do you think? The invasion will be easy." He asked.

"You see that? They direct themselves to a portal of some kind..." Kether stared down at the demons that were swarming through the portal, they appeared to be a completely different species than the ones in the netherrealm. Powerful-looking creatures, but different enough to not look threatening.

"Very well then. I'm tired of this place." Kether stepped down and began her venture to the portal. She stood in the air and drifted towards the portal.

"Why do you wish to leave?" Malo asked. "Aren't you curious to see what goes beyond the netherrealm?" Said Kether with a smile.

"The answer to that question lies beyond death itself. But I do not wish to die. I only wish to leave." She answered. "You will see soon enough."

She landed in the crowds of the demons where they were shoved by the force. "Make way, imps," Kether said, she floated through the air and began to walk amongst the demonkind. She passed the first one, a tall gaunt creature that was naught but a skeleton who was in her way. Kether looked at him, unamused.

"Do you serve Lord Shinnok?" Its deep voice spoke to her.

She scoffed, "I certainly do not." She said.

"Then you do not part take in his invasion." The demon approached her with its hand, attempting to move her over. But Kether pursed her lips, digging her claws into them, and jostled them to the side. Kether rolled her eyes and continued to walk inside the portal.
