The Sky Temple remains neutral for now, although the inevitable will soon rise under their noses. Kether was pleased to aid Raiden even if his weakened state was going to be temporary hopefully. Fujin remained beside them ensuring that his brother remains fine. The trio had discussed the next course of action as they approached a much more comfortable place in the temple."You are well, are you, Thunder God?." Kether says.

He set himself upon an available lounging seat, "I am. The force of the Jinsei was rather... unexpecting. We must make way to Shang Tsung-" Raiden grunted, wincing in some pain.

"Raiden? Are you alright?" Fujin questioned in concern. With a plant of his hand, a sudden burst of lightning rose from Raiden's body, striking both Kether and Fujin, the flash blinding them. Fujin's eyesight alone was left to see.

The thunder god was still in pain. Kether and Fujin were both injured. His possession has returned, the blood code overtook him once again as his eyes turned red and his powers crimson with darkness.

"-Damn, he's possessed once more!" Kether growled as she winced from the pain.

"He's here! The power, the regime. He's ready to purge the world of Chaos!" Raiden's voice aggravated as he spoke of nonsense. Whatever the blood curse did to him. he made him even more brutal than he ever was.

His voice growled in a deep, menacing tone, "Join the Blood Code or there will be enteral suffering for all!"Kether looked at him, her brows furrowed in worry. Fujin exhaled as he stood his ground. "Raiden, relinquish yourself from this darkness at once!" Without hesitation he released a strong wind from his hands, shoving Raiden. The possessed Raiden was hardly fazed by the force of the wind and struck Fujin with his intense electricity. By its vigor, Fujin was struck against the wall.

Kether grimaced in annoyance, "Whoever... is doing this. I'll give them eternal suffering." She chuckled dryly as she materialized a long thread visibly like a whip with thorns around its fleece. She cracked the whip, sending a piercing pain throughout all his body. She panted heavily as she recovered back to her feet.

The thorned whip wrapped around his body like a snake upon its prey but his burst of lightning managed to break through it.

Kether smirked and cracked the whip again, sending another wave of pain through his body. Raiden growled in pain and opened fire with his electricity. No matter what, it seemed as though this blood curse was strengthening him, almost invulnerable to whatever she threw at him. Fujin recovered shortly where she was aided by his powers as they combined their attacks against Raiden.

"Enough!" Raiden spread his hands as he intensified his powers. A wave of his hands and thunder hit the area. Fujin and Kether were thrown against the stone walls of the temple. They stayed there and lay on the ground unconscious. He was not done with them. Kether's eyes opened as she looked up at him feebly, giggling through the pain.

"-I feel as though... I want to kill you. But... something stops me. " She said weakly. His eyes darkened at her words and his hands twitched at her threatening tone.

Raiden summoned two blades from his hands which surfaced from his electricity. Before he could strike her Fujin stopped him. "Raiden!" He exclaimed, "Stop. Do not risk harming her! That would be a grave mistake!"

Raiden looked at him, his eyes full of a primal hatred.

"I will kill this one and I will kill you too, Brother." He pursed his lips and grabbed Fujin by the throat lifting him in the air. The light shined on both of them. Kether could barely look at what was going to happen. Raiden glanced at the walls where many weapons were shelved and brought a staff closer to his grasp.

"An unfortunate end for you, Brother." With a violent force, he thrust the blade of the staff into Fujin's stomach. A spray of blood spurted from his mouth as it slopped vividly from his lips. "And for her too." Kether's eyes dilated as she watched. She saw the hatred in his eyes and the joy of the darkness which was viciously controlling him.

She saw the exact moment of his victory. The staff was pierced through Fujin's body as he was stuck up against the wall. He was still alive yet slowly bled from the atrocious pain. Raiden slowly turned to Kether who still laying down on the ground, "I will destroy you. I will tear you apart, Kether. I will make you suffer for what you have done. You will become a vessel of darkness and eternal anguish."

Kether widened her eyes, a feeling of fear rushing over her for the first time. She was frightened of him which made her spitefully aggravated and enraged.

Her throat ran dry as she mumbled at him, "...-No matter what... My anger is not with you... It lies with your master..." Kether coughed and laughed with a dry throat, "..Give... it your all.."

One last smile as her full lips were smudged with blood. "You are a fool, Kether. You know not what you do. You will soon know the depths of darkness that you have chosen."Raiden looked down upon her, the darkness shrouding his eyes. Sparks of lightning grew from his hands. The lightning almost lasted for eternity as Kether's winces purred in pain and euphoria. She screamed as she coated her misery with overwrought smiles.

The amount of electricity took her out of it. It was unclear if she passed on or was unconscious. However, Raiden was satisfied by the bloodshed it made. The two bodies laid in their blood, their warmth, their despair. The Sky temple was left empty as Fujin and Kether were ultimately defeated by Raiden's darkened state.

Fujin had been extremely injured, weak, and unable to move but he shouldn't die. His eyes gradually lifted, skimming at Kether's immobile body as she laid in red.

"...K...Kether." He muttered weakly. Fujin could only assume the worse. She was dead, killed by Raiden. Although he did not trust her at first, she fought valiantly, fearlessly, and selflessly.

Perhaps through all that limerence over Raiden, her bravery proved that she loved him. The air was cold, the chill passing through the despair but a small bit of light entered the room. Fujin could hear distant footsteps through the stone.

"-What...- What would- Shit!" A boy's voice cried. As he approached, his head turned to a distressing scene of Kether's laying dead body and Fujin who was attached against the wall like a tortured animal.

"Lord Fujin!" Takeda had entered the scene as she exclaimed in worry. He rushed closer as he glanced at Kether's body and approached Fujin who remained alive. "-Raiden... He's possessed. Took the Kamidogu..." Fujin murmured, and the blood from his lips continued to drip.

"Okay but first you need help-"

"The Jinsei- Get her and me... It could heal both of us..." Fujin glanced at Kether as Takeda turned to see her laying cold. "-Are you... Okay, okay. I'll do it." Takeda spoke rapidly yet mechanically as he approached her. He was trying to wonder who he should deal with. First, he had to get the spear out of Fujin.

"Okay- This is probably gonna hurt." Fujin nodded as he was ready for the pain. With two hands he gripped the handle and immediately pulled the staff out of Fujin which made him fall. He laid on his back and his blood continued to flow as he looked up at Takeda. His chest was ripped apart and he was barely breathing. The boy's hands were stuck on his bleeding chest.

"The Jinsei... Get Kether first." Takeda nodded and rushed to Kether's body as he carried her lifeless body in his arms. The Jinsei was still glowing with Earthrealm's life force. Fujin remained wounded but he insisted that Kether would be saved first. Takeda did what he was told and placed Kether's body in the center of the Jinsei.

The boy looked down in worry, "-Is... is it going to work?"

"It should... She's fighting for her soul." Kether's body slowly began to float in the life force, still, she was limp to the eye. She was unresponsive yet still breathing, her lungs filling with life. Her body began to glow as her soul and spirit began to reknit themselves.

Kether's gasp alerted them both, her eyes were filled with blood-red, shock, and perplexity as she rose back from the dead. Her body began to levitate as her eyes remained open and her mouth was slightly agape. The weightlessness dropped as her body fell against the ground. Takeda rushed to her side but she didn't need his help. She cleared her throat, coughing before she let out a few words.

"M-my soul... is... No, no!" She didn't move for a few moments, and her eyes were still red and hazy but she was fully conscious. Her legs began to move and she quickly got up on her feet. "Hey, hey it's okay. You're alive." Takeda reassured her as she glanced at him, her eyes still red but her face was clean of pain.

It seemed that darkness was stronger than Kether had anticipated but it was also weaker.

"-I thought I- I was in... all the madness once more." She chuckled and looked once more around her surroundings where she found out she was still in the Sky Temple. Takeda was perplexed.

"-Takeda," Fujin called out. Kether glanced at him where he stood motionless and weak. His chest was torn apart but he was still breathing. The boy had already got the spear out of his chest. "Right!" Takeda hurried to Fujin where he was placed inside the Jinsei to heal. Kether was soaked in the aftermath of Raiden's power but after being swallowed by the Jinsei's life force, she felt like she was indestructible. K

ether and Takeda waited as Fujin slowly recovered. Somehow the feeling of anger and dismay overcame her. Her blood seeped through her clothes as she glanced at the two. "...Thank you." She murmured.

"Feeling better, Lord Fujin?" All was well as the blood from his chest disappeared. "You've experienced the Jinsei energy's strengthening effects...I could tear down a mountain." "Good, we'll start by following Raiden's trail to Shang Tsung's island then-"

Both Kether and Fujin recovered shortly, "Thank you for aiding us, Takeda, but..." Fujin looked down in sadness, "I am not going to Shang Tsung's Island. My station is here, in Raiden's absence, protecting the Jinsei is my responsibility."

Fujin glanced once more at Kether, "It is fine, Fujin. I shall come with the boy." Kether smiled and approached Takeda. He seemed disappointed,"-But- but the Kamidogu..."

"Those daggers are already in enemy hands," Fujin replied. Kether sensed that Takeda wanted Fujin to come. "But you're a god! What happened to 'Tearing down mountains? We could use all the help we can get!'"

Fujin shook his head, "A god's duty must be to the greater good."

Takeda's jaw was tight, "Bullshit like that is why Hanzo hated Raiden." Kether raised her eyebrow somehow agreeing with Takeda's comment.

"Please, Takeda. I said I can't come with you-not that I won't help you..." Fujin lifted from his hands a mask that looked like half of a skull and gave it to Takeda, "A rational mask of the Shirai Ryu. No doubt Hanzo taught you the value- of striking from distance." With enough confidence, Takeda geared up as he tightened his weapons.

"-He taught me to fight, not for vengeance. For justice." "By the power of the Jinsei... go forth into battle" The life force of the Jinsei soared through both Kether and Takeda as they were prepared to head for Shang Tsung's island.

The boy was ready. He looked to Kether, "Ready?" Kether nodded.
