The next couple of days were leisurely. Kether desperately needed her rest in the comfort her room. The occasional thunder strikes were like music to her ears and yet she couldn't stop thinking about the bloodshed over at Shang Tsung's island and how she felt unsatisfied over Havik's fate. Kether's only solution was to rid of her thoughts through self-pleasure as it had always emptied her stress in the past.

Shifting past the dark reflections she glided her hands down her body she pleasured herself with her hands, fingers twisting and turning in circular motions between her legs. She closed her eyes and imagined it was Raiden as she rocked her hips and thrust her fingers into her body. Kether's moans escaped her lips as her orgasm was feelings of lust and pleasure had passed and she could feel her toward normalcy.

She smacked her lips together as she sat up, contemplating blank wonders. Kether's hazy thoughts were suddenly wiped from her mind as she heard knocking at her door causing her to jump from her seat, rushing for the door. She opened it slightly as she looked down at Raiden who stood behind her door. "Oh, Thunder God." She smiled delicately as she swung the door wide open where she allowed him to see her fully exposed.

Raiden's eyes immediately locked onto her succulent body and his eyes widened in shock, discomfort, and avoidance. Of course, as a god, he needed to be proper but Kether did not care. She was in a carefree, playful mood and she loved the fact that she could make him feel any way from embarrassment to possible arousal.

"Come in." But he didn't move an inch, instead, he gave a remote tilt at her, indicating what was wrong with this moment.

Kether looked down and smirked, "Oh yes, decency!" She scurried her way to her dress that was plopped onto the lounging chair and quickly dressed, leaving Raiden to wait.

When it was time, he finally entered the room."So, what brings you here, Thunder God?" She asked seductively as she twirled for him. "I wish to heed information of your... knowledge of Havik."

"Why would you want that?" Kether asked casually. She already knew how to read his emotions, a gift she got from Raiden himself. "There must be reasons behind this incursion. Why he seeks Shinnok's amulet."

Kether sighed, "You know why. He wants power, just like every pathetic tyrant." She crossed her arms, not wanting to talk about this. Then a smile slowly rose on her face. "If you wish to know more... You'll have to earn it."

Kether made her way to Raiden almost devilishly dancing around him. "You killed me, thrashed me with your thunderous powers." She took his hand playfully as she led him to her bedroom. "I must have some sort of payback."

Raiden stopped her, "I cannot."Kether rolled her eyes and exhaled. "Fine. Let the unrelenting unknown torment you." She stopped suddenly and turned around to sit on her bed. "You want information? Earn it."Raiden stood there in a thoughtful stupor. "I could go slow... one step at a time." She continued to smile at him coquettishly, "There is nothing that would make you less of a man, Raiden."

Raiden looked at the ceiling in thought for a moment before turning back to her. "...What is it you want?" Raiden looked as if he was so ashamed and yet so submissive. Kether sprang from the edge of the bed and approached him in desire. She purred as her hand raised slowly.

"I want you." Her words sounded almost prim, "I want you to ravage me, to make me feel the pleasure that transcends time and space, I want you to shatter my mind and take me completely, Thunder God." Kether chuckled, "But of course, we'll start small, ease into it."

The thought seemed so sinful and yet he was oblivious to it, so innocent to the idea he had never really participated in such acts with anyone before. "Now, do you truly accept the agreement, Thunder God?" She purred seductively as her hand trailed down his arm, "I will let you have your way with me if you let me experience yours in return."

"Kether..." Before he could speak of anything else, Kether pressed her heavy lips against his, kissing him deeply. Her body fit against his as she devoured every bit of his saliva and taste. He tasted divine, so different yet the same. With a fulfilled smile, Kether released herself from him. Raiden was staggered, empty, and yet still gathering himself after their shared kiss.

"How was that, Thunder God?" She laughed at his numb expression. "Did you like it? You're probably still recovering." Kether walked past him with a wave of her hand.

Kether headed to a drawer where she continued to dress, assembling jewelry and putting it on. "That was just a teaser." She said to him. Kether returned to her bed, sitting near the edge in weariness. "You know, you truly did a number on me. Hurting me, killing me at least 3 times. It's devastating." She frowned almost dramatically at him, although she was being serious about what she felt during that time.

"I understand, Kether. The amount of damage I must've done. It cannot be irreparable." His tone was wise, delicate, and yet so looked up at him, "You're so sincere, aren't you?" Her comment struck a memory within him as he lowered his glare at the ground. "I have done many things known loss for my fellow companions. I have done things that break my heart that I'm still haunted by."

"You have? Not your first time, mm?" She cocked her head at him.

"Indeed. During the tournament between Outworld and Earthrealm, many lives were taken including Liu Kang and Kung Lao, two young warriors by the violence of the tournament." He continued as he grew more melancholic, "Liu Kang was struck by my lightning, an accident killing him."

"So tragic." Kether muttered and laid back on her bed, "I don't think it's your fault. I don't think any of it is really our fault." She looked at him with an almost bored attitude. She continued, "...The force of these hectors and idiots makes us do things we regret." Kether laid her head against the softness of the bed as she grew despondent. She cursed herself in her mind. Why did she have to mention death and loss? Now their conversation lacked its sensuality.

"You know this feeling." He said, looking down at her.

"I do." She spoke almost earnestly. The room felt cold with no words to be filled in between the silence.

"I shall leave." Said Raiden. Kether wanted to stop him from leaving but, she didn't want to seem too desperate. She knew she still had a lot to tell him, a lot that would entice, him to stay and more that would allow the two of them to please each other.

"Go." She said softly, continuing to lay against her bed. Raiden left without a further word.

Later on, Kether wandered endlessly through the temple as thunder cracked above the place. She cried softly, her body still aching from her earlier ordeal. She had endured so much and yet she had enjoyed it all. The experience of a lifetime. She found herself dancing through the halls, even though she hadn't felt him entirely, she had a taste of him from his lips on hers. Kether couldn't help but sing as she danced. She let the songs flow through her body as she smiled.

"...You know that I adore you... You know that I love you." Then she continued to descant in an enchanting tone, "So don't make me say itIt would burst the bubble...Break the charm..."She hummed as she continued to dance as she was almost levitating. She has enthralled her looked around at the blissful rain that seemed to happen almost all the time at the sky temple. She smiled, her perfect lips stained with his kiss.

She closed her eyes and tilted her head back, breathing in the heavenly air around her. She leaned her palms against the balcony where she found herself discovered by Fujin. "Oh, Fujin." She greeted softly with a smile.

"I heard voices." He declared.

"Oh, is that so? I was just singing." Kether smile,

"I see." Fujin replied. He glanced at her noticing her cheerful mood. "You appear to be happy, Kether."

Happy? Why, I'm ecstatic." Kether's large red eyes sparkled at him."Why is that?" Kether lowered her gaze at him, "It's a secret." She replied.

Fujin raised his eyebrows, "A secret?"

"A secret." Kether giggled. "I hope all is well. Especially after what happened." Kether glanced back at him with ease, "It's fine. A little pain is what makes life greater."Fujin nodded, "If that is what keeps you sane."

Kether ignored his comment and asked, "Where is Raiden?"

"Mediating in the Jinsei I'm sure." He replied. Then a bleak expression overcame him. "Kether, I must tell you something."

"What is it?" She questioned.

A moment of sullen silence between them.

"I have to leave the Sky Temple. Raiden is... not fond of the thought but I feel as though I must rekindle closer with earthrrealm rather than staying here." Kether almost felt curious but she didn't mind his determination.

"If that is your decision, so be it." Yet, his mind was running with concerns and such.

"Yet, I worry that without my guidance here, Raiden may stray from the others. Lacking his humanity, his compsure." Kether planted her hand against his shoulder, reassuring him.

"Do not worry, your brother will be fine. I'll be here, guiding him. I can keep him intact." Fujin looked at her, "I had my qualms about you. But, you've proved yourself to be great against evil, Kether." She snickered at him, "Flattering." she said.

He gave a small laugh, "I meant it as such." Fujin bowed his head and spoke his last words before he left, "Please take care of Raiden. Perhaps he'll need it."

"I will don't you worry," Kether said before Fujin departed. She turned back in front of her, gazing into the barren skies of rain and thunder.

This all meant that she was going to be entirely alone with Raiden from now on. She hopped in glee. What exactly made Fujin want to leave? It didn't matter anymore. She was going to be able to enjoy the rest of her time on top of the world in continued to revel in her solitude. She had no regrets about her decisions.
