-Chapter Six-
Location: The Nemesis - The Decepticon Warship and one of the Ark - The Autobot ship's shuttles.
Note: As promised, here's a Hiba focused chapter!
The Ark was close enough to the Nemesis to be in Megatron's view, but far enough for the Autobots to use shuttles in order to reach it.
Two shuttles, of a faded gold colour, like the Ark itself, were making their way to the Nemesis while the other shuttles defended them. One had Optimus, Bumblebee, Hot Rod, Ironhide, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker in them while the other had Elita-1, Moonracer, Firestar, Arcee, Hiba and a few other female Autobots. Hiba had only come because she had insisted that Amber was her sister and that she should rescue her as well.
Hiba was in Elita-1's shuttle. She watched the Nemesis with wide eyes full of anger and fear as they got closer and closer to it. She saw that Decepticons were attacking, some flying or others firing from the Nemesis but the other shuttles did their job, defending these two from taking any damage.
After what seemed like ages, they reached the Nemesis and landed. Elita-1 opened the entrance ramp of the shuttle and told Hiba to wait inside until she and her fellow Autobots cleared the way. As Elita-1 left, she assigned Arcee in charge of taking care of Hiba who agreed. Hiba didn't feel right as she heard the seriousness in Arcee's voice. Even Arcee's face- which Hiba had always known to have a smile on it- was serious. She looked battle ready which was an expression Hiba had never seen on her face before.
The ramp closed and Arcee stood right next to it, her gun pointing at it just in case the shuttle was invaded. Outside, they could hear cries, the sound of guns being fired, people running around and a lot of other sounds which Hiba couldn't make out because she didn't want to. It was just like before. Just like the battle in New York- and Hiba's fear increased but with it, her determination to save her sister also increased.
It had been about a few minutes since Elita-1 had left when there was a "BOOM!" and their shuttle shook. Arcee immediately braced herself as the ramp tore apart because of the blast that had been fired upon it. Hiba immediately picked up what looked like a rod to defend herself.
Inside came a Decepticon Hiba did know about but didn't know the name of. She didn't like him one bit. She had seen him in New York and the experience would haunt her forever.
"Starscream" said Arcee gravely and with a hint of anger in her voice.
"Hello Arcee!" screeched Starscream in response and with a tone that suggested he wasn't amused at all. "To what do I owe this displeasure?" he continued as a smirk appeared on his face.
Before Arcee could reply however, he spotted Hiba who was standing at the back, rod in hand. He asked "And who is this?"
"I'm Hiba- Amber's sister! What did you do with her?!" said Hiba, her anger growing.
"Oh so you're that nuisance's sister?" said Starscream, now smirking more broadly than ever.
"Don't you dare call my sister a nuisance!" screamed Hiba.
"You don't tell me what to do" said Starscream, raising his null ray and pointing it at Hiba menacingly so that she backed away a little. "The consequences for that are pretty life threatning"
But before Starscream's null ray could even power up, he was shot by Arcee to which he responded with a "Gah!". Arcee then upper cutted him causing him to stumble back and raise one of his suit's servos up to his chin as ge rubbed it with it. Arcee however didn't take pity on him when she kicked his mecha suit's chasis, causing him to fall out of the destroyed ramp.
"Nice" said Hiba in awe.
"Thanks" smiled Arcee.
Arcee then headed over to the shuttle's cockpit and was about to power it up and fly both her and Hiba to safety when Starscream, who had somehow recovered, shot their controls with a null ray blast, causing the controls to be destroyed and rendering the shuttle useless as an explosion took place where the cockpit was and Arcee, who was standing right next to it, was thrown back by the force of the it.
Starscream then transformed into jet mode while smirking and flew away, screeching "Have fun, Arcee!" as he did.
Arcee muttered "Stasrcream..." in a voice that told Hiba that the next time she saw him, Arcee wasn't going to be nice.
"Are you okay?" asked Hiba though, concerned, as she helped Arcee up.
"Yeah..." groaned Arcee before straightening up a little.
"What do we do now?" asked Hiba in a worried voice. "Should we go outside?"
"I don't know..." said Arcee uncertainly while rubbing the back of her head.
"Maybe we should go look for my sister- the Decepticons look pretty occupied to me" said Hiba as she peeked out of the destroyed ramp. "Besides what if Starscream comes back? What if he brings more Decepticons with him?"
Arcee sighed "Like I said, I don't know... if you go outside- I don't want you to get hurt... but if we stay here, we're pretty much goners if more Decepticons come... I should talk to Optimus or Elita... they'll know what to do". Arcee then raised a finger to her comms and tried to contact Optimus or Elita but she found that her comms were not working due to the explosion.
"Bad news" she said. "My comms aren't working"
