She arrived at a small fast-food place.
"Boscha!" Luz said, calling her over, "Cute purse."
"Thanks, your sister let me borrow it." Boscha said, "You'll need to take it back to her when we're done."
"Oh! Well, that was nice of them." Luz said with a nod.
"Yeah, after what happened, I guess they wanted to make it up to me too, seeing as I was so mad." Boscha said, "A precious person like you doesn't deserve to be hurt."
"Oh, you always know how to make a girl feel special." Luz said as Boscha kissed her cheek.
"I'm just speaking the truth." Boscha said.
"Honestly, I'd rather be sold. This is boring." Skara said.
Boscha heard Skara's complaints before she slapped the bag, making Luz look confused.
"Sorry, pesky bug." Boscha said.
"Excuse me." Boscha said, going to the bathroom.
Boscha took the purse/Skara with her as the waiter came to their table.
"Can I take your order?" He asked Luz as she looks over the fast food menu.
"I'll just start with a blood berry smoothie. I'll order when my date comes back." Luz said.
Boscha tossed Skara onto the bathroom counter.
"What did I say about being quiet?" Boscha asked with her hands on her hips.
"That you would put me in a store and let me be put on sale?" Skara answered.
"Exactly! So, you either keep your mumbles and comments to yourself or I take you to the thrift store!" Boscha warned her.
"Okay, I will." Skara said.
Boscha opened her and started looking through her.
"What are you doing!?" Skara asked, feeling Boscha's hand in her.
"Oh, I'm just looking for... this!"
Boscha pulled out tape, Skara isn't too sure why that was in there. Boscha pulled out a strip and put it over the area that Skara's mouth was.
"There." Boscha said, "Now be a good little purse."
Skara mumbled through the table as Boscha put her back on her shoulder and headed off back to Luz.
"Sorry, just had to fix something." Boscha said, "Now where were we, my beautiful blacksmith?"
"We were about to have a lovely little meal to start off our date." Luz said as she gestured to the blood berry smoothie in the table. "Would you like to share a little smoothie before we order our food?"
'Oh Titan, why do I have to watch this?' Skara thought.
"Absolutely." Boscha said.
Much to Skara's horror, Boscha and Luz grabbed two straws and began drinking from the smoothie together like a loving couple from a cheesy romance movie.
'Titan, just sell me!' Skara thought, 'Anything is better than this! Kat and I would never do this!'
For the rest of the date, Skara was forced to watch as they continued to do lovely dovey things that made her want to puke! Such as, feeding eat other, calling each other pet names, and Boscha cuddling with her.
'How could they be so cheesy?!' Skara thought with a groan!
"It was great hanging out with you, Babe." Boscha said, "I can't wait to do it again."
The two share a kiss.
"By the way, give this purse to Emira." Boscha said.
"Got it and I can't wait to do this again too." Luz said as she took the purse and began heading home.
'Oh, thank Titan, it's almost over!' Skara thought!
Luz walked inside and placed Skara outside Emira's room. She knocked on the door and quickly left before Emira answered.
Emira opened her door and saw nobody was around until she saw Skara, still as a purse, on the ground.
"I guess that date's over." She said as she drew a spell circle, turning Skara back to normal as tape as still on her mouth.
The bard witch swiftly ripped it over, ignoring the pain, as she stood up.
"Oh, thank Titan, that is over!" Skara said.
"They're so cliché!" Skara said.
"Sorry, about that Skara, I never would've turned you if I knew that would happen." Emira said.
"Actually... I didn't mind being a purse." Skara said, "Kind of liked it, really. But I never want to be one on their date again."
Emira wondered what she meant by LIKING being a purse, but she didn't question it before she let Skara into her room. Maybe Skara could tell her about the date to see if it really was that bad.
"Every single cliché you've seen in those crappy romance movies, they did. Sharing a drink, couple names, cuddling. Everything!"
"Oooh, that does sound cliché." Emira said with a wince.
"It was, not to mention Boscha threatened to sell me if I spoke." Skara said, "Still don't understand why there was tape in me."
"Tape? Oh, that's just part of the spell. It turned random objects you may have had with you into other objects to fit with the disguise." Emira said before noticing something. "My guess it was your hair tie, your hairs not in the usual pony tail."
"It's not?" Skara asked before checking her hair, seeing that it WAS down. "Dang it, that was my favorite hair tie."
"Sorry." Emira said, "Now... what did you mean about actually liking being a purse?"
"It was... nice. Just having that moment of stress leaving me, you know, before Boscha took me." Skara said, "I just had one role, make others look good. It was... calming."
Emira stared at her sister for a few moments, wondering what has been unlocked in her, before asking a question.
"Do…you want me to teach you the spell?" She asked.
"Uh... sure."
Meanwhile, as the two older sisters were having a somewhat awkward moment, Luz and Amity were down in the forge for a little late night work. The metal Luz needed, the one Amity suggested, had finally arrived! Luz was excited to get to work and finally complete her invisibility suit!
"I seriously don't understand how you're so excited about this." Amity said, "You can't even use it until your arm heals."
"Maybe not me but YOU can." Luz said as she pointed to Amity. "I tested the first arm, which was a success, and now you can test if rest of it."
Amity rolled her eyes. Luz, ever the optimist.
"Fine, let's get to work." Amity said as she put on smock and went to the forge to use a fire spell. "Furnace is ready."
"And so is the mold." Luz said.
"Then let's get to work." Amity said as she went to help Luz.
Since she had only one arm, Luz had to have Amity hold down the metal so she could hammer it in the right places.
"It's really good that I can use one hand to hammer stuff in." Luz said.
"Yeah, but you do better work with both arms." Amity said to Luz.
"Yeah, but now, I have 3 arms to work with." Luz said as a joke, referring to Amity as being two extra arms.
"Oh geez, I just had a thought of you with three arms. That's disturbing."
Luz chuckled at this as she continued to hammer until it was done.
"Yeah, but that would be kind of cool. Now hurry and cool it in the barrel." Luz said as she pointed to the barrel of water.
Amity used her magic to lift it and put it in the barrel.
"You know, I've been wondering, where did you learn to do this?" Amity asked.
"Aunt Lily gave me a book on how to blacksmith. But it's mostly through trial and error." Luz said.
"Think I could borrow it? It could help me while I'm helping you."
"Really? You don't just want to make your own weapons?" Luz teased.
"I'm sure I don't. I only want to help you, not outdo you. But let's be honest, no one could outdo you." Amity said with a smile to Luz, "And who knows, maybe learning a little could help with my Abominations."
"Hmm, didn't think of that. Sure. I'll lend it to you after we get done with this armor piece." Luz said to Amity as she turned to the barrel. "It should be finished cooling by now."
"Alright."
Amity pulled the mold from the barrel and Luz put a crowbar in where the mold closes and opened it.
"And that makes arm number two." Luz said as the left and right arms of the invisibility armor were now complete.
"Now all that's left is the rest of the body." Amity said to her sister.
"Or as I like to call it, the fun part."
"How is that the fun part?" Amity asked as she took the completed arm armor and put it on to test out.
Luz shrugged. She was just a weird girl. For the next couple of hours, the two sisters worked on the armor and were making great progress.
"Alright, I think that's a good place to stop." Luz said, "We have more than half of it done."
"Wow, I'm working up a sweat, I think I just sweat off more than half my weight."
"Now, how do you think I got so strong? I need ways to keep Boscha blushing and she does when I show her my abs."
Amity looked to Luz with a blank face, blinking a few times before she decided to ask something.
"That aside, you have abs?" Amity asked her.
"Hell yeah, sis." Luz said as she lifted her shirt, showing Amity a 6 pack of abs. "Check it."
"Luz... never lift your clothes near me again." Amity said.
"We bathed together as kids, we've seen each other naked, who really cares." Luz said.
"Just pull your shirt down." Amity said as she pulled Luz's shirt down for her. "I think we've been down here long enough."
"Girls! Time for dinner!" Raine called down to them.
"And I think Nini agrees." Luz said.
Taking off their smocks and gloves, the two sisters put the armor pieces on a special display rack before headed upstairs for dinner.
