Inside, everyone felt the house shake.

"What was that?!" Odalia shouted as she stood up in the parlor with Raine.

"I think someone is firing at our house!" They said in shock.

"Well, then they're going to pay for that!" Odalia said, summoning her staff, "One way or another!"

Raine nodded in agreement as they rushed off to find their family and see just who the hell is attacking their home! Raine ran to the room with all the kids.

"Kids, I need... oh you're all talking it out, that's nice." Raine said, before the house shook again, "Right, I need you to stay here!"

"What? What's going on, Nini?" Edric asked!

"Just stay here and your mothers and I will handle it!" Raine said as they shut the door.

They all knew that door wouldn't hold if... whatever this was got through. But they did know one that would... Luz's workshop. Outside, the parents stood in front of the Manor. All four of them stood with angry expressions as they saw an army of abomination robots marching towards the manor with one having a familiar short witch on its shoulders.

"Kikimora." Raine said with a glare.

"So, you're the one attacking our house, you little bitch?" Eda asked in anger.

"Edalyn Clawthorne, you are to surrender the Portal to the Emperor's Coven." Kikimora said.

"Bite me!" Eda said.

"Why do you want the key, in the first place?" Camila asked.

"That is none of your business. Now surrender the portal or I will be forced to use extreme measures." Kikimora threatened.

"More extreme than blow a fucking hole in our house?!" Eda asked as she gestured to the damage already dealt.

"Fine then." Kikimora said, "Attack!"

The Abomination Robots charged, and the parents attacked. Inside, the siblings made it to Luz's workshop. Luz began to unlock it when the house shook. The siblings had a common thought. When Luz unlocked it, Amity used her Abominations to get Luz to the bottom.

"What are you doing!?" Luz asked.

"Protecting you." Edric said.

They closed and locked the door, keeping Luz inside.

"NO!" Luz shouted as she tried to get out of the abomination, but it was too strong! "Let me go!"

"Guuuuh." It let out but it shook its head to say "no."

Luz squirmed and shook, trying to get away from the Abomination. Out of the Workshop, the siblings ran into the front room, just in time to see Camila, no doubt the strongest witch of the house, thrown through the door.

"Mami!" Skara said, as the robots came in.

"Get out of our house!" Amity said.

The children charged at the robots with their magic at the ready! Skara drew a spell circle, applying her voice as she screamed and released a shockwave that sent some robots flying! Amity, seeing they were part abominations, used her magic to take control of a mostly destroyed one and control it to fight off more! The twins went to a wall, pulling back a secret panel and pulling out some weapons Luz may or may not have given them. Emira had an ice crossbow while Edric had a fire spear. As they attacked, Luz was walking to her workbench, picking up her new axe and a shield. She may or may not have destroyed Amity's Abomination.

"I don't care if they want to protect me. Who's gonna protect them?" Luz said to herself as she turned to the stairs, rushing up to help her family as she activated her shield.

She rammed the door, then did it again, and finally she broke it down. Stepping out, Luz saw that her family was still fighting the abomination robots and saw one about to attack her mother, Odalia!

"I don't think so!" Luz shouted as she threw the ice axe, cutting into the head and freezing the liquid parts to fall apart!

Luz ran over and put her shield up, protecting her and her mother from another's strike.

"Luz?!" Odalia asked, seeing her youngest in the fight.

"I'm not going to stand by and let my family fight alone!" She shouted as she got her ice axe back and use it to fire a beam of ice at the attacking robot!

The robots turned to her as she tightened her grip on the axe handle. She ran and swung the axe at one, cutting it in two as she used her shield to block the strike from another one.

"This is too dangerous! What about your arm?!" Odalia asked as she used a levitation spell and sent several robots crashing into the castle walls!

"It's fine!" Luz replied as she slammed her axe down, sending a wave of ice to encase 3 robots.

The family started to get up again. They proceeded to fight off the robots, but not what came next. Everyone was covered in a red outline and lifted off the ground, Luz was the only one that was shoved backwards, hitting two robots and slamming both the robots and her against the wall. Luz fell to the ground, barely conscious when Emperor Belos walked in.

"LUZ!" Everyone shouted in worry as they all looked to Luz as the robots fell beside her, almost crushing her.

"Greetings, Noceda-Clawthorne-Whispers or whatever your last name is. Really confusing I might add. Anyway, I apologize for the intrusion, but I require something you stubbornly refuse to give up." He said as he held his staff, making them all float and turn to him.

"How about we go to the castle and... talk."

"My liege, what about the other girl?" Kikimora said.

"She has no magic, she is nothing without her family." Belos said.

He left with the army and Luz's family. Luz laid there, for who knows how long, when she was woken up by something leaking, from the robot, hitting her face.

"Mmm…" Luz moaned out, blinking her eyes open. "Wha-What hap-BELOS!"

Standing up in a rush, Luz gasped for air as she looked around at the ruins of her home. Everything came rushing back to her, all the way up to Belos knocking her out and hearing his last words.

'She has no magic, she is nothing without her family.'

She was at a loss, she had no magic, her weapons wouldn't do much against an entire army, not to mention that she doesn't even have a way to get there.

"I... I ca-" a drop hit her head, "I ca-" another drop, "What is that!?"

Luz looked at the busted robots and saw something blue falling from them. Luz knew what it was.

"Titans Blood."

A thought-No, a dream came to her mind, a dream she had never thought would come true as Luz walked toward the small puddle of Titan's Blood and gazed at it.

'My gloves can work now….I can do magic now!' Luz thought as she stuck her hand in it, staining it a bit. 'I can save my family now!'

She took the sample on her hand and put it in a tray. She opened the safe and pulled them out.

"This is it." Luz said.

Luz set her gloves on the table next to the tray of Titan's Blood.

"My hunch says one drop would be enough but I don't have time for just one drop." Luz said as she picked up the gloves and moved to lay them in the blood, front and back before pulling them out. She watched them glow a little before putting them on. She raised a finger and closed her eyes.

"Please don't blow up. Please don't blow up. Please don't blow up." She said.

She put a finger out and opened her eyes. She saw a dark yellow spell circle, not unlike Eda's. The spell circle became a ball of light, the simplest spell of a witch could learn and Luz just did it!

"They work…THEY WORK!" Luz shouted with glee, finally being able to use magic!

She jumped up in excitement, but that changed as she had to focus. She looked over to the Invisibility armor and new that this was the perfect time to test it. She also grabbed a fire sword and shield. She needed to wait to use the gloves, if she used them to quickly, then everyone will know about it. Keeping her gloves on, Luz donned the invisibility armor before strapping the sword to her side and putting the shield in her back. She rushed out of the forge and began looking for a flying broomstick, a training tool to teach them how to fly on a staff for when they got their palismen.

"Gotcha." Luz said as she found one in the remains of the den closet.

She grabbed it and walked outside.

"I have an Emperor to kill."

Luz was too angry to think about how crazy her goal was but she didn't care! That bastard ruler kidnapped her family and he was gonna pay!

'Hang on, guys. I'm coming.' Luz thought as she got on the broom and began flying to the Emperor's Castle.

But as she flew, she had to wonder what had become of her aunt Lilith. Surely she wouldn't have agreed to this raid! She hopes that she doesn't see Lilith, she doesn't know if she can handle having to fight her.

'Please aunt Lily, don't be a part of this.' Luz thought as she gripped the broom stick tightly.
