Sorry for the long wait, only have maybe two chapters left depending on how I split up the few remaining scenes that are in my head.

It was silent as they walked back to Marinette's place. Nino could only think 'they're there.' He was dreading speaking to his friends. His girlfriend. Adrien is going to be upset. Deep down Nino knows these are all silly thoughts popping into his head, but still. He can't help but worry.

Krissy respected that Nino wanted to walk in silence. It was a lot to take in. Even though she's a social butterfly and itching to talk or hear herself talk, she fights the urge and allows the walk to remain silent.

Nino finally took a deep breath. He needed reassurance. "Krissy?"

She perked up, "yes?"

"Adrien um..."

She pushed, "Adrien what?"

Nino doesn't know where he was going with that, so he chooses to admit, "I hated his father, but I never hated my mother." Krissy doesn't say anything, so Nino takes the opportunity to continue, "his father left his miserable. He hated modeling and I didn't even know that until after Shadowmoth or Monarch- his dad got all the miraculous. His father made him-made him, ugh just treated him like a doll. You know?"

Krissy nodded slowly. "Yeah. It doesn't mean much now, but I think my brother feels bad. Not about the terrorism, but at least about the way he treated Adrien. I think he realizes he wasn't right."

Nino says, "Adrien finally has a chance to-and I don't want to take your attention away from Adrien."

Krissy stops walking. Nino noticed. He looks at her and before he can realize it, she pulled him into a hug. "Uh, what...?"

Krissy brightly, "why wouldn't I want you?"

Nino doesn't know how to answer that."

Krissy smirks, "can't think of a reason, right?" Nino remains silent as Krissy continues, "I just have one rule in my house. Respect. For everyone that lives with me, all I ask is we respect one another. It's a tight space. And I only have one bathroom."

Nino asks, "one bathroom? How does that work?"

"well, not well. You can't really put people's bathroom habits on a schedule. When you gots to go, you gots to go, but on the bathroom door is everyone's work schedule and shit. And when they absolutely need to get into the bathroom to make it to work on time. Just keep that in mind. You're a boy so I assume no make-up doing in the morning?"

Nino giggles, "no."

Krissy says, "well, the girls need to find somewhere to do their make-ups. Showers need to be on the schedule. Stuff like that. A lot of the time, see no one locks the door because if someone has to use the bathroom with someone in the shower, no one has an issue with that. Can't see through the shower curtain and if you know someone using the bathroom right quick, you just don't peek your head out."

Nino says, "I'm not saying I don't want to go now, but that sounds uncomfortable."

Krissy says, "yeah, wait until you have to really pee and someone is taking a shower. Showers usually happen back to back and people need to get to work or school so no time to waste. You'll get over the uncomfortable shit real quick. Everyone that moves into my house has this thought like oh I can just wait and then they realize oh shit, I am never getting in there." Krissy then snorts, "don't want to scare you, but I had to also get a bucket because my morons were pissing in my bushes. Nearly got arrested a few times and I was nearly given fines. But for super-duper emergencies, you need to find a hidden place to do's yo' buis first, second clean it out once you done."

Nino chuckles, "a bucket?"

Krissy confirms, "yeah, I keep it under the porch just in case of emergencies. But people are now, finally, getting good at using the bathroom at odd hours of the night and making sure they go before leaving work and shit like that."

Nino can't help it when he snorts, "I don't think Adrien is honestly going to be able to handle it."

Krissy scoffs, "my rich nephew? The boy may have never heard of a single bathroom home?" Nino laughs and Krissy continues, "yeah, he's going to die a few times. That shock I's telling you about going to kill him a couple of times."

"I shouldn't laugh, but like oh my god," Nino said as they approached the door to the bakery. "Wow, it's almost like I was just here."

Krissy breathes out with a soft chuckle, "yeah." Krissy says, "let's head back in."

Krissy, with Nino in tow (who was kind of hiding behind her, even though he's been to Marinette's a million and one times in the past), finds Tom first.

He notices Nino behind Krissy and he smirks, "change your mind, Nino?"

Nino doesn't know how to answer that, "kind of."

Krissy places a hand on his shoulder. "Turns out Imma take Nino with me to the states too."

Tom was confused. "excuse me?"

Krissy says, "long story. But is it okay if Nino stays for the time being, too?" Krissy quickly adds, "of course if not, I got camping."

Tom couldn't help but chuckle, "of course Nino is welcome."

Krissy asks, "where are the kids?"

Tom explains, "livingroom I believe. I think they started playing a video game."

Krissy asks, "and left you in here to clean by yourself?"

Tom says, "sadly."

Krissy snorts, "this won't do. I shall help new besty."

Tom chuckles, "appreciate it." Then turns to Nino, "you can go play with your friends."

Krissy agreed. Before either of them started working, they watched Nino walk up the stairs.

Tom says, "how did that happen exactly?"

Krissy makes sure Nino is truly out of earshot before explaining, "yo his mother is a psycho-bitch."

Tom admits, "I've only ever talked with her at school functions, but she seemed nice?"

Krissy shakes her head, "not to him. He a product of rape and she was totally blaming him. She hit him."

Tom was shocked, "you are kidding me?"

Krissy says, "yo, I gots a dark sense of humor. Guilty. But I don'ts kids about nutting-like-'dat. Bitch blaming him and called him having the gene to rape. His stepdaddy knew I was right and I'm a dumb ass who can't learn to walk away so when he told her they need to give up custody, I told him to sign custody to me."

Tom couldn't believe his ears, "I would have never guessed."

Krissy sighs, "I wouldn't have either and I use to do shit like this for a living."

Tom raised an eyebrow, "use to?"

Krissy sheepishly rubs the back of her neck, "right after High School, I took a job as a social worker. It wasn't for me though."

Tom waited for her to continue.

Krissy finally admitted, "Well, for starters I kept trying to take the babies home."

And Tom lets out a hearty laugh, "I can see that."

Krissy chuckles too, "and you haven't even seen nothing yet."

Krissy takes a deep breath and releases to catch her breath. Her tone turns sarcastic, "and maybe I was wrong about nearly damn killing some dipshits coming up in my face about give them they damn kids."

Then angrily she semi-shouts (being mindful of the kids not too far away), "or maybe they dipshits who lost they kids and projecting. Like a lot of shit needs to happen for the state to take them. The state doesn't take them for an accident. They fuck with you's, don't get me wrong. They use to fuck hard with my parents. Another reason I had to leave that job. I can't fuck with good people just trying to do they best. But they do not take kids away just because."

Tom says, "bet you got a mouthful of stories."

Krissy smirks, "always big guy. Listen to this..."

With the kids. Nino walked in nervous. How would he tell Alya? Tell Adrien? Krissy assures him that Adrien will not mind. She told him it probably be better for him, but Nino still has to face them.

Once he approached, Alya was on her feet and wrapping him in a hug. "Changed your mind."

Nino nods.

Adrien smiles, "wanna play next?" He held up a controller for Nino.

But Nino declined, "nah. You two are way better at this than me." Nino played with the ring on his finger.

Adrien places the control down. "You okay?"

Nino nods and forces his smile to widen. "Yeah."

Alya rolls her eyes and shakes her head, "no your not. Spill."

Nino looks at Adrien, "it's totally fine if you don't want me to go, just let me know." He looks at Alya and repeats, "you too, if you don't want me to go, just let me know." Then he takes a deep breath.

Adrien and Alya share a look. Each confused.

"But Krissy wants to take me to the states too. She convinced my parents to sign custody of me into her name and I guess this means you know but..." He never got to finish his thought because Adrien was already on his feet and wrapping Nino into a hug.

Adrien says, "she has custody of me too, so that makes us sort of like real brothers, right?"

Nino laughs slightly, "so your not mad."

Adrien sighs, "I don't know her that well, but from what I do know I think... I mean you told me a little bit about your mother but if Krissy felt the need to step in, maybe it was worse than what I am capable of imagining."

Nino admits, "I just dealt with it. I guess I never really thought about it." Nino notices the tears rolling down Alya's cheek. "Oh don't cry. I told you. If you don't want me to leave, just let me know."

Alya softly punched Nino's arm. "Hush you. Of course, I don't want you to leave because I really love you. But I love you enough to know this is going to be better for you and I want what's best for you. Just don't forget about me when you meet all of those American girls."

Nino snorts, "forget about you? As if. I love you too. Way more than you love me, and nothing against Krissy, but if the girls are..."

Krissy startles them all when she says, "what, crazy?"

Nino laughs, but still corrects "loud?"

Krissy laughs so hard, "oh that the whole damn country. No one knows what an in-door voice is. Like I be talking to someone. We three feet aparte and they shouting like I'm in China. I'm like I right here, why we screaming?" She ruffles Nino's hair.

She can't help but yawn. "Oh damn." Another yawn, "my age is showing."

In the United States.

Ronald (towing Andrew on his back) walked toward Gabriel and Mary with a huge smile. "Finally found one."

Gabriel asks, "he headed to Paris?"

Ronald says, "close enough. We will just need to find out way to the city once we are there."

Mary says, "you don't have to go with us."

Ronald scoffs, "Yeah, sure. And let something happen to you guys. Krissy will kill me and that girl badass when she wanna be."

Gabriel laughs, "protect me? I protect myself and my wife. Who you think taught Krissy to be tough as nails?"

Ronald rolls his eyes, "I got us a plane ride without threatening anyone. Yo' psycho ass was abouts to... You know what I don't wanna think about what you would have done without me."

Gabriel rolled his eyes, "I got this far without you, smug lil bastard."

Ronald shakes his head, "can we just board the dang plane already."

Gabriel hands his bag to Ronald, "fine." Then he shouts to the pilot, "can I drive?"

"Gabriel, no." Marry groans.

But he was off talking to the pilot.

Ronald starts to chuckle. With a shake of his head, "What the f..." Ronald helps Mary on to the plan. Then he hands her Andrew.

Marry places Andrew on the floor and ushered him to go to the seats.

Gabriel rushes back to them. "Yo, he kidnapping us. We gots to go."

Mary questions, "what are you talking about dear?"

Gabriel explains, "we ain't going to Paris. He heading us off to London."

Ronald nearly rolls his eyes, "relax Gabriel. There ain't none to Paris. We going to the nearest possible city."

Gabriel shakes his head, "Nah. Nope. Ronald, I don't know much, but I know some things. London is British. That is like a whole other country from French people."

Ronald sighs, "Gabriel, I promise you London is right by Paris. We take a train from London to Paris. I swear to god I am not getting us dead. A'ight man."

Gabriel still hesitant, "you kill me, my wife, I kill you."

Ronald says, "deal Gabriel. Now get on the plane." Ronald nearly laughs as Gabriel hesitates. "Please hurry up."

Gabriel picks Andrew up off a seat and takes a seat. He holds onto Andrew placing him on his lap. "Wish you let me bring my gun."

Ronald rolls his eyes, "I told you, we still need to go through customs, and besides something tells me a gun in your hands in a foreign country ain't a good idea."

Back in Paris

Nino and Adrien were the only two up. Even Plagg was sleeping on Adrien's head.

Adrien yawned, "so what happened?"

Nino asks, "what?"

"With like why did Krissy end up taking you too?"

Nino bites his lip and plays with the miraculous on his finger.

Adrien sighs, "you don't have to tell me."

"No, I want to talk about it I think."

Adrien doesn't say anything. He just waits for Nino to continue.

But Nino asks, "is that okay? What your going through has to be so much worse than..." He trails off.

Adrien assures, "I feel like Krissy would say something like all feelings are valid. And like um, your experience is different, but it can still make the same feelings or whatever I don't know."

Nino chuckles, "that actually sounds pretty close to something she'd say." Adrien laughs too, and Nino adds, "minus the swearing."

Adrien laughs louder, "I think every sentence she has said to me since we met has had at least one swear word if not more in it."

Nino sighs, "yeah, but she's so nice."

Adrien agrees, "the nicest."

"It doesn't make sense."

Adrien sighs, "yeah. That's the truth. I don't get how my grandparents raised both my dad and aunt, but they are so different."

Nino says, "your dad was like... You know. He never showed his emotion, but she is so full of life and isn't afraid to show what she's feeling."

Adrien leans back and smiles, "yeah. Except when he was the villain. I remember my first encounter with Hawkmoth."

Nino does too, "when Cat Noir and Ladybug showed up, that was like your first day of school, right?"

Adrien admits, "I fell in love with Ladybug. But it's probably not real. I don't know if I know what love is."

"What do you mean?"

Adrien sighs, "like, I started self-reflecting. I know I was afraid of confrontation before and I know that was because my father would kill me if I brought bad press to his name. But I think I grow attached too easily. It's why I remained friends with Chloe for so long. It's why I couldn't bring myself to disappoint, my father. And it's why I felt replaceable with Ladybug and just wanted..." Adrien lets out a sigh.

Nino doesn't fully understand those feelings, but he tries. "You are giving a new chance with Krissy. Maybe you can change your M.O."

"Maybe."

Both remain silent for some time before Nino asks "did he ever hit you?"

Adrien lets out a quick snort. With a slight smirk, he says "and bruise his property?"

Nino frowns.

Adrien breathes in and then out. He guesses Nino didn't like the joke. "Sorry."

Nino doesn't say anything.

Adrien says, "my dad never hit me. I just feel like he wanted to sometimes, you know. But then I will be damaged goods. Not a good look for the brand if the model is bruised. And he cared so much about public image and I know if he could have hidden it he probably do so." Adrien glares at no one in particular, "I hated how he treated me and he never even hit me once. You think I'm pathetic don't you."

Nino gasped, "what, no. Are you crazy?" Nino takes a deep breath in. Out. "Adrien, he didn't have to hit you to hurt you. Making you feel this way is proof enough that he hurt you. And what about those photographers you told me about? He should have never let that happen."

Adrien was quiet for a moment before asking, "your mom hit you?"

Nino nods, "yeah." Then says, "Krissy saw it and she, um I guess didn't like it."

Adrien admits, "I don't like it either."

Nino says, "I don't like what your father did to you."

Adrien smiles, "I'm glad we are sort of like brothers now."

Nino excitedly says, "I can't wait until we can go to the States."

Adrien, just as excited, "yeah and I can't wait until we can meet my... erm I mean our grandparents."

Nino shakes his head, "I don't think they'd like me very much. I'm not supposed to you know..."

Adrien says, "I'm sure they'll love you. I mean I don't know them, but they raised Krissy."

Nino says, "they also raised your dad."

"Fair point."

In London.

Gabriel was having trouble keeping his eyes awake.

Ronald approached them with the train tickets. "Andrew gets to ride for free if he sits on our laps."

Gabriel perks up, "that's an option?"

Ronald nods.

Gabriel says, "go return two of those tickets. Mary and you can sit on my lap."

Ronald shakes his head with a laugh, "no Gabriel. That's dangerous."

Gabriel says, "fine, return one and Mary will sit on my lap."

Mary rolls her eyes, "honey, they only do that for kids."

Gabriel says, "well how they gonna prove that you ain't six."

Mary rolls her eyes. But smiles nonetheless. "I think they'd have a pretty good idea."

Ronald picks Andrew up, "can we go pleased?"

Gabriel says, "do we got time for coffee."

Ronald notices the cafe too and smiles, "I think so."

Mary says, "oh, we should also get those translator things Krissy got."

Gabriel says, "that shit be expensive though."

Ronald says, "I'll just put it on my credit card and dispute it later. I gave two of my other cards to Jamal and told him to make small purchases around the city."

Gabriel nearly tears up, "yo, always loved this kid. Always thinking ahead, this one."

Back in Paris.

Marinette and Alya in Marinette's room.

Alya shrugs, "what are you worried for? You guys defeated Monarch. He probably spending time with his family."

Marinette moans, "he has the second most powerful miraculous and I can't find him. That is something to be alarmed by."

Alya suggests, "He could have stolen those miraculous you let him borrow during the whole Monarch thing, right?"

Marinette nods, "he did give them back. Right away too."

Alya smiles, "you know you can trust Cat Noir. He was always there for you."

Marinette says, "maybe your right. But he better show up sooner or later."

The girls make their way downstairs. They bump into Krissy on the steps.

She smiles at them, "hey girls."

Marinette greets, "good morning Krissy."

Alya greets, "sleep well?"

Krissy nods, "I may never leave. That bed was way softer than my bed."

Marinette notices she's alone, "where is Adrien?"

Alya adds, "and Nino?"

Krissy says, "I honestly thought they'd be with you two. Snuck into yo' room or something. I think they came to bed."

Then, as they make their way to the bottom of the steps, they see Adrien and Nino, still sitting upward on the couch, leaning on each other, sound asleep.

Krissy turns to the girls, "found 'em."

Marinette asks, "Should we wake them for breakfast?"

Krissy shakes her head, "nah. Let 'em sleep. If they get hungry, they can find the kitchen." Then she turns to the girls, "I ain't hungry, but I needs some coffee asap."

Alya snorts, "how badly do you need it?"

Krissy softly pushes her, "don't fucks with me little girl without my magic elixir from the gods in my bloodstream."

Alya laughs, softly "well, shall we?" She leads the way to the kitchen.

Much later in the day, the trio with the little one found themselves in front of the address Krissy texted to Ronald. All a little confused. Ronald looks at the address for the millionth time and then back at the bakery. He turns to mary, "this gotta be it?"

Gabriel shakes his head, "that place way too nice fo' our broke ass'. Yous gotta have the wrong address."

Mary takes Ronald's phone and looks at the address, "no, it's the right address. But I don't... Hmm."

Gabriel says, "call that girl."

Ronald takes his phone back and the dial's Krissy number.

After a few rings, she picks up. "Hello?"

Ronald smiles, "sup, girl?"

"Just waiting for you guys."

Ronald says, "well, we may be here."

"You may? Like you don'know?"

"Yeah like, one sec." Ronald calls Andrew back, "yo, Andrew where you going?" Then says "We are in front of this..." Ronald snaps, "hold on," Ronald pulls the phone away from here here, "Andrew, get yo' ass back here. You can't just wander the streets of a city you don' freaking know."

Ronald waited for Andrew to be safely back within arm's reach. With his free hand, he ruffles Andrew's hair, "you crazy kid, you trying to get kidnapped?"

Andrew shakes his head, "no uncle Ronald. I'm sorry."

Ronald kisses him on the head before bringing his phone up to his ear, "sorry girl, uh like I saying we may be here, but we like outside this really nice looking place. Expensive. Way out of budget sort of deal. Like according to the address you gave us, this may be the place."

Krissy was suddenly walking out of the bakery, she squealed, "you guys made it!" She quickly ended the call.

Ronald followed suit.

Krissy picked Andrew up and spun him around and gave him thousands of kissies, "oh you cutie-pie came too?"

Ronald says, "yeah, aunt Daisy got mandated for some ridiculous hours, so he got to come to terrorize a new city."

Krissy places Andrew on the ground to hug and kiss both of her parents, "thanks for doing this."

Gabriel asks, "so, where are we staying? You got a camp sight?"

Krissy explains, "these nice folk letting us crash."

Gabriel squints, "that's nice? But like why?"

Krissy rolls her eyes playfully, "no ulterior motives daddy. They just nice peeps. And Adrien is friends with they daughter."

Gabriel snorts, "fuck buddies?"

Mary smacks him, "they just kids, hon."

Krissy says, "will you guys all behave. I'll take you in there and introduce you to your grandsons if you all's ready."

Mary asks, "grandsons? Plural?"

Krissy nods.

Gabriel asks, "da'fuck she just say? I may have been half asleep, but I recall her saying one baby she coming here to pick up, how the fuck one baby turn into two babies?"

Ronald shakes his head, "you got an illness. Where the fuck we fitting another one. One was going to be tight. Now two?"

Krissy shrugs, "it's my house, we seem to be forgetting here."

Gabriel says, "not like you can throw your daddy out. I say what I please. Your crazy as fuck baby girl."

Mary laughs, "we'll make it work. How about we just go meet the boys."

Krissy says, "come on tough guy, your going to love them. They are great kids. This is an awesome decision."

Ronald repeats, "you got an illness."

Gabriel says, "we ain't gots no money."

Krissy shrugs, "well, I adopted them legally," then pauses, "well I got Adrien's papers. I just need custody of Nino and then they both be mines. Prob be able to get some food stamps or something."

Gabriel shakes his head, "you came here for jr's son?"

Krissy nods, "yes and I have my big bros baby boy. But Adrien's friend Nino's home life was less than ideal with a psycho bitch mother so I had to step in."

Ronald says, "You really didn't have to, but your sickness took over."

Krissy snaps, "you motherfucker, I ain't sick."

Mary rolls her eyes and with a chuckle asks, "can we get off the street?"

Krissy says, "prob a good idea." Then her eyes lit up, "yo mama, you should make an antipasto."

Ronald deflates, "oh, why suggest that when we about to leave?

Krissy chuckles, "my new besty prob digs it, that's why."

Ronald fake gasps, "new besty? How dare you make a new best friend."

Krissy starts to laugh softly with a wide smile. She softly punches Ronald in the arm, "shut up bro."

Ronald giggles as well. He picks Andrew up, "let's get inside."

Krissy led them inside.

Ronald's eyes widen, "a bakery?"

Krissy nods, "yeah, they own a bakery. They closed down for a few days." She led them upstairs.

With Krissy in the lead, Andrew felt left out. He wiggled his way from Ronald's arms. Ronald was forced to place Andrew on the ground.

Andrew caught up to Krissy and grabbed her hand. With her free hand, she ran her hand through his hair. In the living room sat Sabine and Tom and the four kids. Andrew noticed the game system (that was currently off) and his eyes lit up. "Video games."

He ran to the system.

Ronald rushed forward, "whoa, whoa, whoa, hey now. Andrew put that shit down. I can't afford to replace it if you break it."

Andrew scoffs, "just do what you guys always do?"

Krissy and Ronald share a look.

Krissy asks, "what do we always do?"

Andrew explains, "duh, you buy a new one and return the broken one."

Krissy starts to chuckle. Ronald looks flabbergasted. Mary was amused, while Gabriel really started a deep, hefty laugh.

Ronald turns to Gabriel, "that ain't funny." Then he turns to Andrew, "Yo, Andrew, we don't do that. That-that is like bad."

Krissy says, "now you gonna lie to that baby?"

Gabriel snorts, "like the kid don't know. Clearly, he be paying attention around here."

Krissy snickers, "he knows we broke."

Ronald rolls his eyes, "Andrew I said put it down. We ain't doing that no more."

Mary pulls out her phone, "Andrew, come here and play Among us."

And like that Andrew was distracted by Mary's phone. He took a seat in a corner.

Krissy introduces, "so anywho, this is Tom." He waves. "And his wife Salamon."

Sabine correct, "Sabine,"

Krissy apologizes, "sorry, Salmonella."

Ronald snorts, "that ain't what she said."

But Krissy continues, "and they daughter Marinette."

Ronald teases, "oh that name you understood?"

Krissy ignores him to finish the introductions. "That's Alya right there."

Gabriel asks, "wait up. I count four kids."

Mary teases, "very good Gabriel."

Gabriel smirks and rolls his eyes, "shut up Mary, nah I count four. 1 somehow turned into two, but I seeing four babies."

Krissy says, "only two are comeing home with us." She explains, "Marinette is Tom and Submarine's daughter."

Ronald looks at Krissy, "that still ain't that lady's name, but a'ight."

Krissy continies, "and Alya is Marinette's besty and girl of Nino." Krissy goes on to explain, "Nino is coming home with us." And she pointed towards Nino who smiles nervously as he waved.

Then she places a hand on Adrien, "and this is Adrien." She adds, "Jr's baby boy."

Gabriel says, "I don't get it."

Krissy pouts, unamused, and folds her arms across her chest.

Gabriel says, "I may have been half a sleep, but I do believe my ass woke when you said like yo just gonna pop over to Paris for a bit and pick up yo grandkid. Like I am confused. How this become two kids?"

Ronald says, "yo, I told you she sick. they'r something wrong with her, yo."

Krissy rolls her eyes, "shut the fuck up, nothing wrong with me mofo."

Ronald ignored her, "remember Regina, Gabe."

Gabriel nods, remembering that surprise. "Oh yeah, how the fuck that happen, again?"

Krissy snorts, "oh whatever. Still my damn house, damn it."

Ronald shrugs, "all yours Gabriel. She may not throw you out, but she may kick me hell out."

Andrew looks up, "am I leaving too if Uncle Ronald leaves?"

Krissy waves him off, "nah, kiddo. Not as long as you plan to remain cute."

Andrew asks, "is smoking hot okay?"

Krissy's eyes widen. Her mouth hung open in shock, but with a smile. Gabriel starts to laugh. Mary shakes her head.

Ronald squeaks, "what?"

Andrew explains, "Jamal says I'm a chick magnet."

"I'm going to kill Jamal," Ronald growls.

Krissy says, "hell yeah you are. Come here and give me some sugar." She bends down when Andrew approaches her.

He gives her a kiss on the cheek.

Mary asks, "anywho, which ones are my grandkids again?"

Gabriel asks, "oh you on board with this?"

Marry squeals, "I a grandmama to humans."

Krissy agrees, "that's right ma, I finally have humans for you to grandma to."

Gabriel shakes his head, "yo, the scary thing is I don't think you two realize how crazy that sounds."

Krissy says, "Nino and Adrien are the human grandbabies." And she points to each of them as she says their names.

Mary rushes to hug both of them at the same time, "yay, humans."

"Oh hell." Gabriel throws his hands up in the air. He turns to Tom and Sabine. "Please don't get my wife and daughter lock up. See here the thing, they treat they damn animals like babies, and they trying to distinguish between human babies and animal ba- listen I know this sounds insane, but they don't understand that this sounds crazy as hell."

Krissy asks, "you done bitching, daddy?"

Gabriel shrugs, "they got alcohol here?"

Krissy asks, "like here." She waves her hands around to point to the building they standing in. "Or the country?"

Gabriel thinks for a moment. With both pointers over his lips, he squints, and then points as he says "both."

Krissy says, "I'll get you a six-pack before we leave."

Mary says, "so how old are you guys?"

Adrien answers, "were 15 ma'am."

Mary claps her hands, "awe, what a cute age."

Gabriel says, "cute? She must have been absent when our kids that age, but okay."

Mary continues, "Gabriel, we didn't miss sweet 16."

Gabriel says, "Mary, that ain't what boys call they 16th though."

Ronald adds, "and they don't typically do a party."

Mary places her hand on her hips, she angrily asks "and what they do?"

Gabriel smirks, "Get laid."

And Gabriel high-fives Ronald (laughing).

Krissy snorts.

Mary was not amused, "oh I knew you morons would say something stupid like that."

Mary and Krissy share a look.

Mary asks, "you wanna take yo' daddy back too?"

Krissy laughs, "Nah momma. You loves him."

Mary agrees, "almost always."

Krissy asks Tom and Sabine, "I hope you guys don't mind letting my parents stay? I know they extra as fuck, so let me know if you changed yo' minds."

Sabine says, "nonsense. They are more than welcome to stay as long as is needed."

Gabriel says, "that's awfully nice of you folk."

Tom smiles, "anything to help Adrien and his family."

Gabriel says, "just don't try feeding me anything gross."

Ronald groans, "what the fuck does that mean Gabe?" Ronald continues, "you know they idea of gross and yo' idea of gross gonna be outrageously different, right?"

Gabriel says, "they knows what I talking abouts."

Ronald teases, "probably not, cause other countries think we gross when we make a Peanut butter and jelly sandwich."

And on cue, Nino makes a gagging noise and Alya says "ewe." Marinette looked sick as well. And Tom scrunched up his face in distaste.

Ronald triumphantly says, "ha, see."

Gabriel asks, "what'da'hell you ewe-ing fo'. Pb and J is a delicious sandwich. It's easy. And cheap."

Tom argues, "Peanut butter and Jelly are too different. Why would you place them together on bread?"

Gabriel says, "cause it good. Millions of kids eat it for lunch every day."

Krissy snorts, "millions dad?"

Gabriel waves her off, "billions, whatever. Like math or something."

Ronald's facepalms. "It physically hurts me."

Krissy sticks her tongue out at Ronald. "I'll head to the store right quick and then we can head back to the states 'cause I gotta go to work tomorrow. My boss is ready to have a conniption."

Ronald laughs, "you never take off, so you take a few days off and he throwing a fit?"

Krissy nods, "place falling apart without me clearly."

Ronald snorts, "and if you die tomorrow?"

Krissy shrugs, "luckily for those morons, I immortal and they ain't ever gotta figure out what they would do without me."

Andrew perks up, "your never going to die, aunt Krissy?"

Krissy confirms, "never kiddo."

Gabriel admits, "neither am I."

Andrew cheers, "yay."

Ronald shakes his head, "oh god."

Krissy chuckles, "he's probably madder because I keep texting out every day, but I won't answer any of his calls and respond to his questions via text or e-mail. Like he knows better. If my ass ain't in, I don't work. I told 'em all. I don't text any of 'em or answer my phone when I ain't on the clock. I don't work fo' free now."

Mary says, "that makes sense though, he willing to pay you for your minutes on the phone?"

Krissy says, "I asked him that before, and he look at me like I the crazy one."

Gabriel says, "want me to shoot his ass?"

Ronald scolds, "Gabriel!" Then hisses, "We ain't alone here. How about we not threaten murder in front of these strangers?"

Krissy says, "Nah daddy. If I want him dead, I'd take care of it."

Ronald asks, "am I talking to a damn wall?"

Andrew answers, "yes."

Krissy laughs, "gotta love that little guy."

After Krissy returned with Gabriel's beers (and supplies so her mother can make some Italian dishes), she and Ronald said their goodbyes. Krissy explained to Nino and Adrien, that she'll return as soon as possible.

And as much as Gabriel hates to admit it, these kids grew on him fairly quickly.

Gabriel found himself (after everyone else is asleep) snatching one of his beers from the fridge.

Then, before he could head upstairs, he saw Nino and Adrien on the couch. Each wide awake and chatting aimlessly.

Gabriel took a plop on the couch next to Adrien.

Each startled.

Nino says, "sorry if we woke you sir."

Gabriel waves him off, "Nah. It's hard for me to fall asleep and stay asleep without a tv on." Then he adds, "but listen, if i'm like yo' grandfather now, you kids gotta stop with the sir nonsense. I need like a grand-fathery title."

Adrien asks, "what should we call you?"

Gabriel shrugs, "I don't know. Grandpa or Gramps. Popi or pops."

Nino asks, "pépère?"

Gabriel says, "a'ight, I'm a- whatever you just said."

Adrien chuckles, "I like it."

Gabriel asks, "okay-okay, what about my wife? What you going to call her?"

Adrien says, "well, if you pépère, she would be Mémère I guess."

Nino agrees by nodding.

Gabriel chuckles, "well, works for me." Then he takes a sip of his beer. "You two ever have a beer before?"

They both shake their heads.

Nino says, "sir we..." Gabriel glares at him, so Nino corrects, "right sorry. I mean pépère we are too young."

Gabriel brushes Nino's concern off, "Nah, no worries. If you don't tell yo' grandmother, you can try some of mine."

Each of them looked at each other unsure. Gabriel waved the beer around in a tempting manner.

Adrien says, "okay. I'll try some."

Gabriel smiles proudly as he hands the can over to Adrien.

Adrien takes a small sip and scrunches his face in distaste and quickly hands the can back to Gabriel. He exclaims, "that is so gross."

Gabriel chuckles, "if you say so." The shakes it again, "you ready Nino?"

Nino asks, "why would I do that if it's gross?"

Gabriel shrugs, "Adrien got rich blood, so he may be a cocktail fellow."

Nino bites his lip considering it. Then he asks, "okay can I try it?"

Gabriel nods and hands him the can.

Nino takes a sip. Then pulls the can away from his lips. He says, "it's not bad."

Gabriel chuckles, "take another sip then."

Nino takes a sip and smiles, "it's pretty good." He hands the can back to Gabriel.

Gabriel takes another sip, "see. Adrien needs like an appletini or something."

Adrien giggles, "well sorry."

Gabriel snorts, "Nah, not your fault Jr didn't raise you with the proper values."

Adrien asks, "how was my dad when he was my age?"

Gabriel takes another sip before saying, "uptight." Another sip before continuing, "Mary and I were pretty laid back parents. We didn't set many rules for the kids. The one rule we stood by was the no questions asked rule."

Nino questions, "what's that mean?"

"Like if they went to a party and they don't feel safe to spend the night or if they drank too much or whatever. They are in a situation where they feel unsafe all we asked is they call us and we won't ask questions and we'll come to get them.

"But we let them make primarily all the decisions. We worked too many hours to really monitor Krissy or Jr so even if we set rules how could we force them to follow them if they mother and I weren't there."

Adrien says, "wow, I had so many rules."

Gabriel chuckles, "Sorry kiddo, but that's probably our fault. Gabriel always thought we were bad and our parenting style sucked, but Krissy turned out great. She refused to abandon her mother and me, but I just... You know, she wants to act, but she spends so much time working that she doesn't have time to take care of her dreams."

Nino suggests, "maybe when we get back to the states Adrien and I can get jobs so she can quit hers?"

Adrien agrees, "yeah, and then she could focus on what she wants to do."

Gabriel chuckles, He moves to sit in between the two of them and with a hand on each of their thighs "that's pretty noble of you two, but Krissy won't allow that. Not when you under age. If you gets jobs, she would tell you to do whats you want with yo'mo'ney."

Nino says, "well what we want is to help her."

Gabriel takes a final sip and places the empty can on the coffee table. He yawns, "gotta do better than that to help that self-sacrificing lady."

Gabriel closes his eyes, "maybe I just sleep here tonight?"

Gabriel leaned his head on Adrieb's head, who rested his head on Gabriel's chest. Nino rested his arm on Gabriel's lap (and his head on top of his arm) and he curled up like a kitten.

And that is how everyone found the three in the morning.

Mary shakes her head, "wondering where the hell he went too."

Tom asks, "wanna take a picture."

Mary jumps at the idea, "Ooo too good- so cuuute."

She and Tom both whip out their phone and take numerous photos.

Sabine ushers for everyone to follow her to the kitchen. "We should let them sleep."

Hope you enjoyed it.
