*Renesmee POV* (fyi; Renesmee has the appearance of a 16/17 year old now, and stopped aging there like Nahuel from Breaking Dawn)
It was Rosalie who was at the door. I really wanted to be by myself right now, but I didn't want to be rude.
"Yeah, you can come in, Rose." I called. She came in grinning.
"Okay, so I know something that would make you feel better." she said fast, even for a vampire. I motioned for her to continue. "Well, I was thinking that maybe you, Alice and I could go shopping!" man, she was excited. Reminded me of Alice. It did sound like fun, but I still wanted to go by myself.
I guess she noticed the look on my face. "I mean, you can go alone if you'd like." I heard rejection in her voice.
"Rose, its not you guys. I just need to have some time for myself for a while. You know, think alone and all." motioning downstairs in the direction of my father. She nodded, understandingly. "But please don't hate me, I'm sorry I just want to be alone." I said, feeling bad for hurting her even more.
"Oh, Nessie I could never hate you! I completely understand! I've have my fair share of moments like this. So, go on. Have fun." She smiled warmly. Gosh, I love her.
"Thank you Auntie Rosie! I love you so much!" I hugged her, and gave her a kiss on the cheek before dashing downstairs, giving quick goodbyes to my family, and ran to the car nearest to me.
Now, Forks is so small, that they barely have a gas station. And I've pretty much cleaned out everything in the Port Angeles mall. And every mall within a 50 mile radius. Its time for me to crack down on some new territory. That territory, I decided, would be the biggest in Oregon. The second biggest mall in America.
I had plenty money to spend, seeing as my Grandpa Carlisle was one of the best doctors in the country! He was actually getting transfered to a bigger hospital in Oregon over the weekend. Its only an hour away so we don't have to move, thank goodness. We've moved a lot in the past couple years. We moved back to Forks, because we cant stand to leave it. Leave Bella. Her presence, anyway. You get the idea. We don't bother going to school, so no one even knows we moved back. Well, except Carlisle but the think he drives from a different part of Washington.
As I was saying, money is no object for us Cullens. So, I plan on spending a bunch here today. Until I feel the least bit better.
I haven't even been through half the mall, and I already have bags filling both arms. Looks like I need to drop these off in my car before I do anymore shopping. On my way, I saw a car go by that stood out from the rest here. Blue Lamborghini. Nice! I realized I was staring, and the windows were tinted so I hoped who ever it was in the car didn't think I was a retard. I should be used to expensive cars! But they all still cease to amaze me.
I hurried and stashed my purchases in my car, and hurried back into the mall to do more shopping. Since my senses are a little more advanced than a humans, but not quite as good a vampires, I could smell something a little out of place. I swore it was vampire, but I couldn't tell if it was familiar to me or not. What are the odds. I mean, my family isn't the only vampires in the world, so I shouldn't be so surprised.
After a few more stores, I came across one of my favorite stores, and the scent I smelled earlier was stronger. I decided to go on in ahead, since I most likely would have been shopping in there later anyway. I tried to be nonchalant about sniffing, and I really hoped I didn't look like a dog or something. That reminded me of Jake. I chuckled to myself. I guess I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't see the girl I was about to run into.
But, she was too good. She saw me coming as soon as I noticed her and moved away. A little too quick for a human... Wait! This was the vampire I smelt! She knew I noticed and her eyes widened, and she carefully, hurried away from me-at a respectively human speed this time.
"Wait! Don't go!" I tried, and she stopped and turned to me. Man, she looked frightened. Or.. confused. Right. She's never seen-or smelt-anything like me before. She might think I'm dangerous. "I'm not dangerous. I promise." At the sound of my voice she flinched, and looked like she was about to run again, but she stopped. And she seemed to be studying my face. I don't blame her.
That was when I really took her in. She was very beautiful, even for a vampire. I felt an odd sense of familiarity towards her. Her chocolate brown hair went halfway down her back, and her features were breathtaking. Her eyes were gold, so she didn't feed humans. Great! She actually reminded me of what my Mom probably would have looked like if she had survived... Dang it Nessie, why did you have to go think that? Tears filled my eyes. She noticed.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ignore you, but, I was just... confused. You're different to me. I didn't mean to hurt you, I'm sorry, please don't cry." She said rushed. Yep, definitely a vampire. She might be testing to see if I understood her that fast.
"No, I just... You remind me of someone I lost a long time ago. Someone I never knew. It was all my fault too. But no worries, you didn't do anything." Her eyes widened again at the fact that I understood every single word she spoke, and that I replied at an even faster rate than she. I couldn't afford to think about this anymore, so I decided to direct the topic to a more easy talk. "So, do you live around here? Or do you just come here because its the biggest mall until you get all the way to Minnesota?"
She laughed. "Well, actually, the one in Minnesota is smaller than the one here, shops wise. This one doesn't have all the rides in it, so more space for stores. Thats okay, I don't ride rides anyway when I go there. Thats why I like this one better. But to answer you question, yes, I do live around here. Just mere blocks away, actually." Nice.
"Oh, thats cool! I'll definitely have to visit Minnesota soon. I like rides. Especially fast ones!" I grinned, darkly.
"Well, fast doesn't really bother me, if you know what I mean." I nodded. "So, what about you? You stay around here? Or do you just come here because its the biggest mall until you get to Minnesota?" She asked, mocking in a jokingly way what I asked just seconds ago, since we were talking at an uncanny rate. I laughed.
"Nah, I have to travel about an hour to get here. But, its worth it. I live in probably the smallest town in Washington." She looked like that triggered something in her.
"Washington... Hmm... that soundly oddly familiar. I feel like I've been there." She stated. A vampire that doesn't remember where she's been?
"You don't.. remember?" I asked, astounded.
"Well, I know I haven't been there in since I've been changed. But, I don't remember anything about my human life. Well, I know I'm married, from this ring on my left hand. And when I awoke, I found a letter. Thats all I have. It's kept in a safe place in my house now." She looked sad talking about her human life. "I've never met the people from my human life that I knew. They were actually vampires. I only know the name." It hurt to see her sad, for some strange reason.
"Oh, well, I'm sorry you don't have to talk about it. Maybe we can meet up again sometime? You know, to hang out?" I felt like we could become good friends. She nodded, liking the idea.
"Okay, that sounds good." She smiled. "Heres my number, I gotta run. I gotta be at work in an hour." Wow, I didn't realize how late it was. Or, early. This mall must be 24-7.
I gave her my number, and she left. She was really nice. I think I'll call her soon so we can hang out again.
It then hit me that I never even got her name...
Way to go, Nessie!
Haha, just pretend Oregon has the biggest mall. (: I know Renesmee's a little oblivious, but its just because she's too busy thinking about her Mom, that she doesn't really register it.
Well, I hope yall liked it. (: please review!
Thanks. 3
