Chapter 4
Alcee's POV
Something didn't quite sit right with me about the intel from the chancellor. I tried to convince the senator of this, but she wasn't taking me seriously. Those coordinates were the same ones Master Obi-Wan sent me away from.
"I understand you are worried, Alycee, but, I promise I haven't received wrong information from Palpatine once."
I sighed in defeat. I understood that I didn't have any training, Padame was unlikely to take me seriously. "I have a bad feeling about this…" I muttered. I followed the senator to her ship, and I fidgeted with my Padawan braid.
Padme's POV
We were in the air, and everything was going smoothly. That is until we got out of hyperspace, and we arrived at the very battlefield Alycee was worried about.
"Naboo cruiser, identify yourself."
"This is senator Padame Amadalla, with Padawan learner Alycee."
"Padame? What are you doing out here?!" Anakin asked.
"I was sent on a special mission, the senate was told the banking clan wanted to negotiate a treaty."
I felt my ship being pulled.
"Have we been hit?" C-3PO asked.
I sighed. "I'm afraid its much worse," I responded, I looked over to Alycee, who was shaking with fear. "I'm sorry I dragged you into this, Alycee."
She responded with a slight smile as if to assure me she could handle herself.
"Padame, what's happening?" Anakin asked.
"Were being dragged into the droid cruiser with the tractor beam. I will not be made a sepritist bargaining chip, continue the attack, you must destroy this monstrous ship." I said.
I began to set the ship for self-destruction and told Alycee and 3PO. "My Lady, it's not safe out there!" The golden droid exclaimed.
Alycee nodded in understanding, booking it as soon as we landed in the docking bay.
AN: Most likely a few more chapters of this story. And then I'll probably continue with The Story of Padawan Alycee: The Clone Wars.
I'm also working on an Arc in my Starwars one-shots that is canonical to the story mentioned above where a documentary is made of the Jedi Order, and the documentary portrays the Jedi Order in a positive light, exposing Palpatine as Anti-Jedi.
