"Alright. I won. You know the deal Rachael. Now, I know I've done alot of stupid things in my life. Giving up my kids and walking out is without a doubt one of the dumbest things I've ever done. I don't expect you to forgive me but I just want you to know that if there's any way I can make it up to you for the years of abuse and time that I should've been there... I'm willing to do anything to earn your forgiveness. And I don't expect you to let me off the hook that easily but... As the days went by that I wasn't there with you, Arcellious, and Jane You three were always on my mind. If I could change the hands of time and go back and keep you all and maybe have kyoko again but with someone else... Anyway If I could change time and keep you kids with me I'd raise you kids with all the love and respect that you deserve. You're my daughter Rachael and you always will be... and no matter what I will always love you as your father. No matter what has or will happen that may make me change that''.
Rachael started to lean forward holding her head in pain and began screaming. Suddenly she grabbed a chair and threw it as hard as she could "Rachael?" Rachael started moving around flailing her hands by her head screaming as if she was in pain. "Sissy?" Kyoko asked, wondering what's wrong. Arcellious picked up kyoko quickly and walked back with Jane making sure Rachael doesn't hurt them. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH" "My god... She's snapped... She's completely lost it... I've never seen her show any of these kinds of emotions before. It's like they've been sealed away for who knows how many years and now it's as if they just exploded... Arcellious... You may wanna do something about your sister" Kurt said to Arcellious worried about Rachael. "I can't" Arcellious said. "STAY AWAY FROM ME!" Rachael yelled at her father as he tried going near her. "Don't" "But Arcellious!" "I know. While she was listening to you I noticed her reaction changed when you mentioned giving us the life we should've had vs the life we have now. After that something inside her began to crack and eventually break" Arcellious explained.
"When will she stop?" Sheppard asked. "She won't" Arcellious replied. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE DOESN'T THAT'S MY DAUGHTER!" Sheppard yelled at Arcellious. "Be that as it may. You're the one who caused all this to begin with. So the only way for her to stop is to release all the built up emotions shes been keeping by facing the one person who caused all of it to begin with, You" Arcellious said holding kyoko. "I cAN't… AccEpT… YouR APolOgY" Rachael said with her voice cracking from anger and sorrow. "If dueling my own flesh and blood will stop this madness then I have no other choice. Rachael please duel me. Duel me so you can end this grudge towards me" Sheppard said trying to make Rachael listen. "GET AWAAAY" Sheppard grabbed his daughter as she began hammering away as hard as she could at his chest trying to make him let go. Rachael tried everything in her power to push her father away from her and separate them as her eyes began tearing up. "It's ok pretty baby. It's ok, daddy's here. ssh ssh ssh it's ok" Sheppard said, holding Rachael close to him. "LET ME GO! LET...me...GOOOOOOOooooo" Rachael said as she began bursting into tears crying uncontrollably into her fathers arms as she stopped fighting and began burying her face into his chest and began crying as she held him tightly by his shirt. "It's ok...Just let it out... Let all the pain and frustration you've had over the years all out... let it all out, no ones going to hurt you anymore" Sheppard said comforting his daughter as she cried. "She stopped... But... I don't understand" Kurt said, confused. "My guess is that by dad holding her it was somehow able to bring her back to reality and unconsciously calm her down to a point where all she could do is let out all the years of wanting to cry but not being able to" Arcellious explained. "Now that she's calmed down do you think she'll duel your father?" Kurt asked. "Possible" Arcellious replied. Sheppard sang a song in a low tone to calm rachael down.
Rachael's eyes widened as she heard the song and looked at her father. "You remembered...After all these years?" Rachael asked. "Of course, That's what I'd sing to you and Arcellious whenever you'd have bad dreams and cried when you were babies" Sheppard said kissing Rachaels forehead "You didn't think I'd actually forget something that special did you?" Sheppard said. All Rachael could do was give a smile. "Rachael duel me. Face me in a duel and get out all this pent up anger and confusion and whatever else you've had to carry in your life. Duel me and let it all out" Sheppard offered as he began wiping Rachaels eyes with his thumbs as he held her.
Rachael nodded and agreed to the duel. As they got onto the duel arena the duel arena was mostly empty but a few people here and there were in the arena. Stern noticed that some of the members from earlier were still here and not all of them had left. Those that were left behind began fixing the whole in the wall.
