With a new chapter! FINALLY!
This took me forever to write but I managed to finish it somehow, though is up to you to judge weather it is any good or not. I really hope you like it and also I promise that I will be faster next time. For now let's not tire you with talks and let everyone enjoy the chapter!

Ch.26 What we fight for...
The green piercing eyes of the black haired woman stared straight at her two targeted victims. They seemed calculating, like she was absorbing every detail about her enemy thinking of a strategy, a plan to succeed in her mission that night.
On the other hand Raphael's amber eyes were fixed on the actions of the woman, waiting for her to strike. Grinning his teeth anxious even though he sensed that the victory of the upcoming battle was impossible, at least not like this. He and Usagi were outnumbered, unarmed as well as unused to those foreign human bodies.
"How did you find us?!" Raphael demanded looking furious at the foot ninjas and their leader. Karai smirked evilly at him.
"You are too careless for a ninja Raphael!" Karai said "A small mistake of yours can blow the cover of your whole family so easily! A small betrayal can cause everything to fall!"
Now Raph narrowed his eyes frowning deeply at Karai. What did she mean with "his" mistake? He had done nothing to blow the cover, he hadn't faced any foot ninjas since the last battle with Karai. For a whole month the turtles had stayed in shadows beside the occurrences for girl's sake. There was no way he could had done something wrong.
"Have you started imagining things Karai or did you go insane?" Raph yelled "I have done nothing! And more importantly what the hell of a betrayal are you talking about?" Karai now smiled. Bit by bit she was gaining what she wanted.
"You are so shallow Raphael! I have told you more than enough, but even with this much you aren't able to figure a thing, while I…" she said now beginning to approach the middle of the field "I my "friend" have figured everything I wanted for you and your brothers! Though I would have never expected to face you as humans instead of turtles!"
"What a surprise for you then!" Raph said in irony.
"Yeah!" Karai said in a low voice " A big one but…" she continued.
"I am getting another surprise tonight! I can tell a lot about who you and your brothers are but I cannot tell who this one is!" Karai said nodding to Usagi. The rabbit narrowed his blue eyes but never even thought about answering Karai's unspoken question. Even though she knew about the turtles there was no way she would ever know about Usagi who had never shown himself in front of her.
Without removing his eyes from the woman he spoke to Raph.
"Raphael-san, considering the present situation I am suspecting those guys as enemies, am I right? Not a woman like this would ever be called friend, I think." Usagi asked with his eyes now moving on every direction examining the situation they were in.
"Ya are more than right pal. How bad that we don't have the honor to have worth enemies!" Raphael said sarcastically to the woman who only narrowed her eyes.
"Am I right Karai?" he asked then "You haven't had that much of success those past few years!"
Karai growled in anger showing her sword to Raph pretending to scare him off but apparently the guy didn't flitch a muscle.
"You're in no position to talk Raphael! Now we'll see who is the one not being worth in a battle when we have you pray for your death in our feet!" Karai said making Raph go ahead pissing her.
"Well considering that you weren't present in the half of the battles we had with Shredder Karai I don't blame you for talking like this, not noticing how low your ninjas and you yourself are is really a pain in ass. What a pity you are this blind, witch!" mentioning Shredder Raph touched a nerve on Karai making the girl almost shiver from the anger.
"Watch your tongue turtle if you still wanna have it!" Karai said shoving him her sword "I would be mre than happy to cut it off from your mouth!"
Now Raph took a fighting position not caring if this battle was a mission impossible, he wanted to see Karai licking the ground under his feet. That damn witch brought only troubles, she had been the reason why Leo got broken not only physically but also mentally, she had been the reason for a lot of wounds his family had suffered, she and the Shredder had been the reasons for many sacrifices they had been forced to make.
"I will make you beg for your life Karai!" Raph said only causing Karai to smirk.
"You don't stand a chance Raphael!" the woman raised her hand ready to give the foot soliders an order to attack "Look around yourself, you are unarmed and outnumbered not mentioning that you are a human. You don't have that shell protecting you anymore!"
She knew that the turtles weren't used to the idea of having a human body, they wouldn't be able to move in the same rhythm and would get distracted. Even if there were four of them Karai doubted they would manage to beat her team in human forms.
It seemed that Usagi noticed this too so turned to Raphael slowly talking quietly.
"Raphael-san I don't think it's such a good idea to begin this fight in our own!" Usagi said "Let's retreat, for now!"
"And let dis witch have it her way?!" Raph asked sarcastically preparing himself for a good body fight "Sorry but in our world things work differently. Here villains take their punishment!"
Karai didn't lose any time but gave her ninjas the signal to attack immediately. Before he knew Raph was surrounded by his four sides from hundreds of Foot ninjas.
"Well I hope you don't regret this Raphael-san!" Usagi said going beside Raph to give him a hand.
Karai stood on the edge of that park now turned into a battle field, looking at her two targets preparing to fight in order to survive. On the other hand Raph's target among all the sea of the black ninja was exactly that woman standing behind the black sea of ninjas.
"You'll take your punishment Karai!" Raph said bringing back the memories when that woman almost destroyed everything. Leo's desperate face came in his mind, the feelings of almost having his brothers dead surrounded his heart making him almost fall of the knees from only remembering the pain.
"Carry on with the plan! Get rid of the turtle as well as his friend. Finish this and then let's take care of those witches! We have to get them before everyone in that room gets out!" Karai called to her soliders who immediately .
"And I have a good idea how to do that!" she whispered to herself smirking to Raph. Catching the meaning of her words Raph looked at her now in fear. What did she mean by get them?
Unfortunately he didn't have much time to think because as the woman gave the order all the soliders rushed to him with one and only target…His head.
"Usagi lend me a hand!" Raphael said rushing before the rabbit in the middle of the fight.
"Wait Raphael-san…" Usagi called trying to stop his friend. He could feel that there was more in the plan Karai was talking, there was something more or… someone more.
Usagi's eyes never stopped looking around even as he carried on with the unstoppable fight he had gotten himself into. He could sense them, some eyes on him, but no one let him time to examine closer. As his eyes moved away from the battle a sword almost slashed his head off. Usagi jumped from his place five feet behind landing on the ground safely regaining his fighting position.
The foot ninjas didn't wait but ran to Usagi at full speed striking everywhere they could but never being able to touch him. Even though unarmed the rabbit was faster and wiser than them. Using only his legs he knocked out six foot soliders finally running on the middle of the battle throwing his attacks calmly keeping a stable facial expression.
Anyway despite his never changing facial expression Usagi was getting tired and judging from the heavy breaths as well as the quick movements of the chest his friend was showing he could say the same for Raphael.
"That woman was right!" Usagi thought as he jumped behind one of the ninjas grabbing his sword and wielding it in his own hands now.
"We aren't used to those human bodies! The pressure is larger even though the bodies are smaller, we can't have full control of our moves nor actions. If this goes like this…"
Unfortunately he couldn't finish his though because before he noticed he was knocked by the fountain having himself surrounded even more than before. His eyes passed on Raphael who was fighting like mad only to get to that woman. He could already see the wounds on his body but the worst thing was that Raph himself didn't seem to notice.
"If this goes like this both of us will be heading to a secure death!" Usagi finished his thought removing his eyes from Raph as hundreds of blades aimed for his head.
"Usagi!" Raph called seeing the rabbit fall. He tried to walk past of the foot now to his friend but it was impossible. Immediately after he got a bit closer he would get kicked away. He could feel the blades of the sword cut through his now very weak skin, could feel his limbs getting tired and tired after every move he made, could feel his breath being drawn away but didn't plan on stopping. He never stopped!
But even the best determination could turn into surrender when there is no concrete aim. And Raph didn't have that. All he had was the feeling of pain because of his memories. Only an abstract aim that could destroy him.
After receiving one last punch straight on his jaw and another on his stomach Raph collapsed on the ground tasting the blood in his mouth. Anger and guilt now enveloped him all. Anger because he couldn't get to her, he couldn't kill that woman, he wasn't strong enough. And guilt!
Guilt because he had dragged himself and his friend into this, he hadn't listen to advices, he had given up on his selfish pain.
"After all I don't listen to anything!" Raph whispered now not even trying to get up from the ground "I didn't listen to Usagi same as I didn't listen to her!" he thought bringing Icy's image on his head.
"How can I end up like this?! How can I give up?" Raph thought raising his hand and punching the ground hardly.
"What's the matter Raphael?" Karai asked now starting to approach Raph until she had him laid in under her feet.
"Too tired to fight an unworthy enemy?" she asked giving him a kick on the stomach. Raph coughed from the pain. He had never felt his stomach hurt this much before from a simple kick. This because he never had a human body on a battle before.
It seemed that Karai found joy from his pain starting to walk closer again only to kick Raph's body away for the second time.
"So?" she asked "Tell me what is wrong? I thought you described us as low leveled ninjas, as blind if I remember correctly!"
Karai raised her sword cutting through Raph's arm enjoying the smell of blood that filled the air. The guy screamed in pain holding his arm but that didn't affect anyone.
"Who is the low leveled ninja now Raphael?" she asked making Raph furious.
He saw how low he had left himself fall, bleeding under Karai's feet. He had to grin his teeth strongly in order to choke another scream that came in his lips as Karai made a good scar on his stomach.
"Damn!" he thought "This bitch!"
"You are weak Raphael!" Karai continued now bending on her knees to whisper something in his ear.
"No wonder Icyelle would cheat on you for Leonardo!" she said hittin Raph stronger than with any other weapon or punch she had done until then only by those words.
"Even I sometimes wondered…" she continued to whisper hitting Raph's skin with her cold breath "With such a big difference on the skill's level, how come the two of you are brothers?!"
Raph was getting furious and furious with every words that woman threw firstly for Icy and now for him.
"Shut that mouth of yours up!" Raphael said shaking form the anger but that only made Karai enjoy her torturing even more.
"Well I never thought I would be saying this but…" Karai continued "Sometimes even a whore like Icy understands some potential! How bad you don't seem to have what she seeks!"
"You…"Raph growled not baring a word anymore. He had listened enough, and didn't want to hear the witch's voice anymore. Even though confused Raph was actually scared from the truth because what Karai was speaking was what he had been thinking since the morning, since he saw Icy, Leo…
…Since he saw them. It had become impossible to get his mind of that picture, maybe it was because of fear or because of anger but whatever it was, had been apparent enough to Karai. Enough apparent for her to use as a weapon. Seeing her now smiling triumphal Raph got a disgusting taste of what her triumph was like.
"You…you damn witch get away from me!" he called throwing a back kick at Karai sending her flying to the wall of the building near them. Not letting the Foot ninjas proceed on blocking him Raph immediately did a back flip landing right in front of Karai grabbing her by the neck before she stood up.
"You like messing up with me bitch?" he asked punching the woman straight in face and grabbing her sword as she extended a hand to take it.
"You want me to show you the potential?" Raph asked giving a good punch on the stomach and the smashing her head on a wall. He directed the sword to her face making a good cut on it and then letting her go, throwing the woman to the ground directing her own sword to the chest. Karai tried to stand up but unfortunately she couldn't make much forth, some centimeters more and the sharp blade would strike her right through the chest.
Even the other Foot solders made their stop as they saw their leader's life at sake, not that they cared of course, but not having an order meant not having a path.
"Looks like your puppets are too tired to be of some help Karai!" Raph said grabbing Karai by the hairs sending her head backward. Surprisingly she smiled disgusting Raph to death.
"You are the most disgusting creature I have ever seen and probably will ever see!" Raphael said throwing Karai on the ground again. Unfortunately her disgusting smile didn't disappear from her face.
"You are a bonehead Raphael!" she said making Raph smirk gathering his fists.
"Why am I a bonehead?" he asked ironically "Because I beat the hell out of you?"
"No…"she said and all of sudden kicked Raph away from herself making a sign to her Foot soldiers to surround him. Then approaching Raph she stood on her feet in the middle of her soldiers smiling.
"…Because I had a plan, which you just completed!" Karai said and from nowhere some Foot Elite ninjas appeared near Karai.
"Find the four witches and get hold of them!" the woman ordered smirking at Raphael "Go! They have a small surprise over here!"
Raph grinned his teeth understanding where Karai's point stood.
"If you touch her, even a single nail, I swear to god that I'll rip your head off bitch!" he called only giving more joy to that woman.
"Then I'll give that single nail you don't want to be touched to you and keep the rest for myself!" Karai said when all of sudden someone hit her on the face. The woman backed off some steps and raised her head in anger.
"Who the hell…" she was saying when Usagi appeared in front of her. He seemed so hurt but still had power to stay on his feet.
"Y…you damn bastard!" Karai called hitting the poor rabbit boy some feet away from herself "That shall teach you a lesson whom to mess with!"
Karai walked away from the rest expecting new guests with an evil smirk on her face.
"Now for you little girls…"
(Meanwhile inside the theater)
In the end Raph didn't show up so the after-show party continued without him. Kate had gone to some director of different musical groups and Leo of course was with her. Don and Mia had suddenly disappeared but with much possibility they were keeping an eye on Kelly and Mikey. That's how Icy had ended up with the Daimyo's son, something she didn't appreciate as she wasn't that good when it came to kids. None of them talked as no one knew what to say and Icy didn't bother on opening a topic. What could she talk to boy from another world anyway?
"Where did Raphael go?" the boy suddenly asked, a question he apparently shouldn't have. Icy growled under her voice cursing the poor turtle guy with every possible word she knew, and that was A LOT of words.
"I don't know and I don't care where that bonehead went!" she said almost like blowing all the anger to the kid.
"You don't have to miss him so much, that guy has probably forgotten even where we are!" she said angered The boy backed off a little from her dark aura raising his hands in surrender.
"But you see…Usagi is with him, and I need to know where he is." The boy explained hoping to calm the girl down.
"Oh, yes the rabbit guy!" she said as the kid gave a single nod.
"Can we go find them? I promised my father I wouldn't leave Usagi's side since he is the only one who knows to open a portal to my home!" the child said but to Icy the thought of going ahead and looking for that hothead herself was crazy.
"They will come soon don't worry. I bet that rabbit is more responsible than Raphael!" Icy said putting a strange accent to Raph's name. She was about to turn her back to the kid but suddenly he grabbed the edge of her dress shaking his head.
"Something has happened!" he said to the girl "Please Icyelle can we go look for them?"
Icy tried to decline again but the sad face of the kid was more she could handle It was true that the girl wasn't good with kids but this also meant that she couldn't bear to see them crying. Sighing she took the child's hand and nodded.
"Alright, alright we'll go look for them. Just…" she said "…don't cry!"
The boy only gave a single nod following the girl outside with what seemed like a smile on his lips.
As soon as they left the noise and the lights were replaced by echoes of their steps and the darkness of the long corridors. Icy looked around for any sign of the two of those but they were nowhere inside the corridor nor the rooms around. A strange silence had enveloped everything, maybe this all would have been creepier if she wasn't that angry with Raph.
"Could they have gone out?" Icy wondered with herself looking around as she felt the small body grab her hand tightly after every echo of their footsteps. She smirked lightly looking at him but then something started bother her.
She felt something brush her shoulder causing the girl to jump around with her guard up only to find no one. Her brown eyes moved fast and cautious from one side of the room to another but she spotted nothing.
"Icy is there something wrong?" the boy asked as her action caught his attention. The girl didn't spoke at first still vigilant on every possible movement.
"Stay close to me kid!" she said not putting her guard down "I don't think we are alone!"
Icy made some steps ahead unnoticed putting a hand on her thigh below her dress taking a small knife from it. She was sure someone was watching over them, waiting for something but who the hell was there? Gripping the knife strongly she put a hand on the boy's shoulder.
"C'mon let's go!" she said seeing that the boy was scared.
They were about to continue walking when suddenly Icy saw how the boy's eyes went wide and his finger pointed behind her.
"Icy,behind!" he called as the woman turned immediately noticing the shiny blade that aimed for her neck.
Her hand rose up immediately while the fragile blade of her knife met the sword thrown at her. Unfortunately the pressure was way too huge for a small knife to bear and it was thrown away leaving the girl unarmed in the hands of her enemy.
Seeing that she had nothing to fight with Icy grabbed the boy and pushed him behind herself all of sudden taking a fighting position. Of course they were forced by a wall so there would be no attack coming from behind their heads.
"Icy I am scared!" he said as the girl hushed him quickly looking at the unmoving shadow in front of her.
"Everything is going to be just fine!" Icy said not truly believing her own words. She turned her head to the guy standing in front of them, narrowing her eyes trying to figure out who he or she was. Unfortunately the darkness wasn't on her side this time and she should be more vigilant than ever, having the little kid with her.
"Who the hell are you?" Icy asked but it seemed that the guy wasn't making any attempt for conversation. He didn't move but Icy could swear that she saw a smirk on his face before the smoke filled the air around and he disappeared within the room.
"Shit!" Icy cursed covering the child's nose whereas with the other hand she hurried to grab his arm and run as fast as she could.
"Icy where are we…" the boy wanted to ask but Icy didn't let him.
"No question!" she said "Just run, and fast!"
Unfortunately she wasn't able to give any more advices because the guy appeared right next to her kicking the girl feet away, straight to the wall. The girl hit the marble hardly but fortunately her head was saved at last seconds.
"You damn son of a…" she was saying to the guy standing some feet away, standing up but the boy's voice was louder than hers.
"Icy look out!" he called to the girl who noticed someone else aiming for her head but was lucky enough to avoid the kick at last second. The sword aiming for her ended up making a huge damage on the hard floor, while the girl ran to the little boy.
As she was on her way two other blades reached out for her but with a quick jump she managed to avoid them and land safely on the goy's feet.
"You alright kid?" she asked as he only nodded. Icy immediately turned to face the enemy only to notice two of them coming from her right and one from the left.
"Just how many of them are?" Icy wondered with herself
"Icy what will we do now?" the boy asked the girl who sighed looking at her opponents.
"Well let's see…" she said sarcastically "…do you happen to have any deadly weapon with you kid?"
The boy simply shook his head not getting the irony in the girl's voice which made Icy sigh.
"No? I see!" she said "Well then we will just have to figure something out!"
Icy saw one of those three run to her with his two tonfas up to her direction. Icy immediately pushed the child away and kicked the man's hand away from her body giving him a kick on the stomach, pushing the guy some feet away.
As the guy stood up he pulled one of the curtains to himself causing the moonlight to discover the enemy only to make Icyelle back of some steps.
"You gotta be kidding me!" she said. The ones standing in front of her were them. Shredder's elite guard , the worst of the worst.
Having their "faces" revealed Shredder's ninjas hurried to give an end to the girl but Icy only became more cautious from their identity. This time she was the one to rush at her opponent using all of her strength to punch the guy on the jaw but he escaped before her hand reached his face. He disappeared on an instance and a minute later appeared behind her causing Icy to feel a huge pain on her back from a sudden punch. The girl ended up on her knees only to have to jump all of sudden because of the other hand that reached for her face. She landed near a wall breathing heavy.
"This is no good!" she thought looking at those bastards who were only nearing her from every side.
"I don't have a weapon and there is no chance I can defeat them with normal human strength. Also the child…" she thought throwing a worried look to the kid hidden at a corner of the room.
"I can't leave him unprotected just like that! If only I could get my powers charged up now, but I don't have enough damage to awake them!" she was in trouble. Even if she jumped in the middle of the fight letting them to beat her so she could use her powers again she had no guarantee for how long it would last or that she wouldn't take a fatal kick. Unfortunately…
"There is no choice!" she said out loud standing on her feet.
Seeing her movement the opponent prepared when Icy rushed to them jumping and doing a back flip only to hit one of those three in the chest causing him to fall back breathless. As she landed on the ground the one standing on her right was ready to rip her head off with what seemed like a ninja scythe weapon but falling on her back the girl caught the blade between her legs and flipping back she threw the guy behind her.
She managed to send two of them in the ground but unfortunately her victory was short lived. As soon as she returned back on her legs the third guy had her pinned on the ground putting his sword on her neck not letting her make any movement. Not long after that she felt a huge pain on her stomach and then one straight on one of her sides. The bastard weighted upon her body almost choking the girl on the ground before he threw her away.
Coughing and hardly breathing Icy managed to open her eyes but she couldn't stand up because another of those had her kicked on the stomach with his leg. Icy arched her body feeling completely breathless but it was not enough.
Finally it seemed like they got tired with her. One of the three grabbed her by the hair pinning Icy on the wall.
"We have to finish her!" one behind him said. There are still three left!
Here all of Icy's senses woke. Three? What did they mean with three? It couldn't be…
"You assholes!" Icy cried with the voice she had left "If you dare touch my sisters I will…"
"Shut up!" the one holding her said punching her on the face one time, then another and another before his knee hit her belly hardly. Icy gasped for air when he dropped her one the ground and coughed a pool of blood beside her body.
She heard a slash come from behind her understanding that the man had unleashed his sword.
"Go finish the boy, I'll end this fast!" he said making Icy freeze. This definitely wasn't a part of her plan.
"No wait…what…" she was saying but another kick shut her up. As the man pulled Icy by her dress she saw another one approach the frightened child at the other corner of the room.
"He is a child, you bastard don't touch him!" she cried but then felt something cold on her stomach.
"That kid isn't what you should worry about!" the man said and then with a quick movement he slashed the girl's body just like that.
"You won't be able to worry even for yourself in a little!" he murmured before throwing her to the ground letting her bleeding a pool of blood.
Icy's eyes had remained open looking at the hatred man who was walking ahead only to take another innocent life. One of her hands traveled to the fresh wound wanting to block the blood from drawing away from her body.
"Icy,Icy!" the little kid cried seeing the girl fall.
The girl put a hand on the wall trying to stand up but the pain sent her back on the ground. She had to do something, she couldn't leave someone else die in her hands. She had swore she wouldn't let anyone slip away from her grasp even if that meant to have herself drowned to the last drop of blood.
"Damn!" she cursed using all the forces she had left to stand up "This is why I hate kids!"
Not thinking much she let the weight of her body take her front, obligating all of her muscles to send her forward.
Adverting the attention of those three Icy jumped to the boy causing both of them to fall on the ground. She didn't let them hurt him and wasn't planning on changing that fact. Pushing herself up she looked at the boy's scared eyes.
"You okay kid?" she asked.
"Ye…yes I am fine but Icy you…" he was saying but she patted his head messing up his red hairs not letting him continue.
"I am great!" she said not twitching her face in pain in front of the kid as she would never show weakness. Smiling mostly like smirking she stood up wavering in her feet as she looked straight at the three guys who now had to back off from her look.
"I will now show you trashes with whom you've messed up!" she said.
Something snapped inside the girl as she raised her head to face her enemy. Her brown eyes glowed in a yellowish color like the eyes of a snake before the color enveloped all of her brown color. She was awake.
Icy felt her senses change, everything became more sensitive and her body weighted even more than before. She had this never disappearing smirk on her face as she prepared to give an painful end to the enemy but as Usagi had suspected they weren't alone. The trump card hidden below Karai's palm was yet to show up.
As Icy let her power draw outside her body to the men in front of her suddenly everything stopped. She felt a huge pain on her whole body and a scream echoed on the long corridor.
Icy fell back on her knees holding her eyes.
"Icy wha...what is wrong?" the kid asked. Nothing had touched and it seemed like she was regaining some strength before she fell.
"M...my eyes!" she screamed "They're burning! Wha...what is this?!"
In fact there weren't only her eyes burning. Her whole body felt like had been enveloped in flames. On the other hands the three of Shredder's elite guards were standing properly without a scratch. Her powers hadn't reach them but had actually turned back to her ten times worse. Eating Icy's body alive.
"This...this are not my...powers!" Icy managed to say in between pain.
Suddenly from nowhere a laughing came and some footsteps echoed in the room. Through her blurry vision Icy managed to spot a dark figured covered in ninja's clothe.
"Of course it is not your power my darling!" a female voice came from that body.
"Because its mine!" hearing those words Icy thought she recognized the voice but still it seemed away far,far away from her.
"Who are you?" She whispered trying to stand up tiredly only to fall on the ground again "What did you do to me?"
Unfortunately there was no time for her to take an answer since the darkness fell on the girl before she could even differ the calls of the little boy from the laughs of the woman.

I know some of you might start wondering who is the mysterious woman and what will happen to Icy and Raph but no worries! The writer has thought of everything.
