(Musutafu Japan, 5pm)
Izuku was walking down the street his head pointed down towards the ground as he was trying to keep the tears from falling down his cheeks. Sighing he lifts his head up and stares into the blue sky above as the clouds waft by slowly. His mind recalling the encounter he just had with his ultimate hero. A hero who just destroyed his dreams and crushed what little of his spirit remained. Giving a pause for himself he just resumes his walk down the way his eyes void of emotion as he makes his way home. Wicked laughter resonating inside his head as he mumbles to himself about what happened only a few hours ago.
"Maybe they're wrong. Maybe if I try hard enough I could be hero...but then, No, no All Might herself told me that I couldn't. Told me I could be a police officer or a doctor. Doesn't she know quirkless aren't allowed to have jobs like those? That quirkless are seen as just a waste of space? She probably doesn't know at all. It's been 10 years since she's been in japan and reports say she's only been back for about 2 in a half weeks." Izuku says as he just ignores the world around him. As he's walking Izuku doesn't notice that a crowd is starting to form around the shortcut he takes to get home around the alleyway. Bumping into someone Izuku looks up and sees that it's the Pro hero, Death Arms. Izuku looks at the man who quickly turns around and blocks a rather large explosion.
"Kid what the hell are you doing here? It's dangerous! How the hell did you even get here anyway the streets blocked off." Death arms says as he keeps himself in between
Izuku and the thing throwing those explosions.
"I always take this alleyway to get home. It leads right to the main road where I can break off from the park and take the bus to my apartment complex. What's going on?" Izuku asks a bit worried he'll be in the way.
"A slime like villain has taken a child captive and somehow has the ability to force the kid to use his explosion quirk to keep us at bay. It's started some fires and backdraft is currently putting them out. So far Me, Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady are on scene to fight but Mt Lady can't grow in such a small place without causing some damage to the kid who's trapped. Kamui can't use his techniques to grab the kid either as he'll just use those explosions to destroy the binding limbs. I can't do much here but keep the peace." Death arms says as Izuku looks past him and knows exactly what is going on.
'That's the slime villain that All Might wasn't she on her way to take him into the police? How did he get free?' Izuku thought before seeing Katsuki struggling to get out of the slime villains grip.
"Death Arms, that kid in there, His name is Katsuki Bakugo. His quirk is explosions. They're triggered by him igniting a nitroglycerine like compound from his sweat. The more he's working himself up to sweat the more explosions he'll be able to make. How long has he been trapped?" Izuku asks as Death Arms looks at the kid.
"You know that punk? Never mind, He's been trapped for 3 minutes now. He's not sweating a lot but that could soon change." Death arms says as Izuku immediately begins thinking as quickly as he can. Before too long Izuku looks up and grabs hold of Death Arms bicep and tugs on it.
"I need you to run me to the other side of the alleyway past Katsuki and the villain. Once he lets loose an explosion at us he wont be able to do it for at least 10 seconds. I can take Katsuki's explosions no problem. We can use that to get to the fire hydrant and the other heros." Izuku says as he Death arms looks in his eyes.
"Got a plan huh? Alright kid Lets do this." Death arms picks Izuku up as he says this and just runs towards the villain. Once the villain sees death arms he aims Katsuki's arms forward and ignites another explosion to hopefully push the hero back onto to be surprised when instead Death arms charges through the smoke and blows past them both regrouping with Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady.
"Alright you two listen to this kid. He knows the hostage and his quirk well. He has a plan." Death arms says as Izuku just swallows hard before pointing to the Hydrant.
"Death Arms, Your strength will be the best for this. I need you to twist the bolt on the top of the hydrant and tear the top off it. The gushing water will have enough pressure for you to direct it right at the slime villain. He tried taking my body over a few hours ago and all might stopped him. His body is a viscous ferrofluid and when wet it would most likely become unstable. The water will have the added benefit of washing the sweat away from Katsuki and leave him unable to ignite his sweat for his explosions. Once that's done crush the top of the hydrant and stop the water flow. Any more than 4 seconds and you risk diluting the villain too much and killing him. Kamui Woods once the villain is soaked for about 4 seconds you'll need to use your Lacquered chain binding prison technique to grab Katsuki because he can't break your chains at that point and you'll be able to pull him free. Mt. Lady when Katsuki's free of the slime villain you'll want to aim your fist or your foot for his eyeballs. They're the ONLY solid part of his body and they're his weak spot. Just go for a donkey punch motion and you'll get him. Please!" Izuku says as he rambles off his plan. Death Arms immediately gets into position and calls out when he's ready waiting for the others.
When confirmation is given and Izuku times it for when Katsuki lets loose one of his biggest explosions yet Death arms immediately opens the hydrant before ripping the top off and following with the plan. Izuku immediately directs Kamui woods to hold before counting down with his fingers and Death arms crimping the hydrant closed stopping the water and having Kamui grab hold of Katsuki before pulling him free of the villain.
"Don't worry little guy, we got you no problem. Your friend told us how to help you out of that situation safely." Kamui says as Mt. Lady already the size of the building swings her arm down in arch donkey punching the villain into the ground splattering him around the area leaving only a groaning mess in a fist shaped crater that can't move.
Unknown to Izuku someone was watching everything play out and was ready to intervene before she saw Death Arms carrying him to a hydrant. She watched as he explained his plan, the abilities of hostage and how to disarm it and the villain that got away from her because he pants pocket had a large hole in it she didn't know about. She then say him directing the heros like a true hero coordinator and smiled some thinking to herself.
'Even after what I said, he still had to help as any true hero should. It might not have been directly but he didn't hesitate to what he could to save that kid.' Yana thought as she smiled to herself knowing she just may have found her successor.
As clean up was going on and the slime villain was gathered up in bottles and carted away as Katsuki was given a check up. Izuku smiling to himself as he looks at his bully and tormentor hoping this could prove he could be a hero. As Death arms looks at Izuku and smiles.
"Kid, that was a amazing plan. Not only did it keep damage to a minimum but it also helped keep the hostage safe and got him away from the villain. You didn't even need to use your quirk what ever it is. That kid owes you his life. You're definitely a hero to me and I hope you keep on this path." Death arms says as he goes over to Katsuki who was with Kamui woods as said hero was praising the kid for his quirk and how strong it was. When Katsuki sees Izuku he immediately ignores the praise and starts a menacing walk towards Izuku.
"Kacchan see? I was able to help the heros save you. I can be hero too just like we said we-" Izuku doesn't get to finish as Katsuki uses his quirk directly at point plank range with Izuku's face knocking Izuku to the floor on his back leaving him to hold his head. The act shocking the heros as Death arms and Kamui Woods immediately pulls Katsuki back who's once again struggling.
"I didn't need your help you shitty quirkless Deku! I could have taken on that shitty slime villain my self and still come out on top. I don't need, want or even care for your fucking help. Just go be useless elsewhere you fucking waste of space. You aren't a hero, you can never be a fucking hero you hear me?" Katsuki says before Kamui woods uses his abilities and closes Katsuki's mouth before pulling him away from Izuku.
"Hey now that is very uncalled for. You could have very well died if it wasn't for Izukus' plan to save you." Kamui woods says as he pushes Katsuki back a little bit as He and Death Arms block Katsuki from resuming his attack on Izuku as My Lady just kneels down and helps him up.
"That kids a real asshole. Are you okay sweetheart? He didn't hurt you with that explosion did he?" Mt Lady asks as she helps Izuku up seeing his face is burned slightly and he's bleeding from his head as his eye is closed to keep the blood out of it.
"Oh honey that's not good. Here I can help you get patched up." Mt. Lady says as she tries to help Izuku up off the floor.
Izuku meanwhile doesn't react. He just replays what Katsuki said, what his doctor said. What All Might herself said. He even runs through this whole event before his mind clicks together everything he's thinking like pieces of a puzzle.
'Shitty Deku, If you want a quirk so badly theirs an easy way to get one. Pray you'll get a quirk in your next life AND TAKE A SWAN DIVE OFF A ROOF!' Katsuki's words after school ring like a bell on repeat in his head before Izuku takes Mt Lady's hand and gets to his feet.
"It's okay Mt. Lady I'm used to him doing that. He's my bully after all. It still confused me with what he did though so I'm all turned around. Would you mind using your quirk and picking me up so I can see where the park is? I can get to the park and walk home to get help from my mother. She's a nurse and will patch me up no problem." Izuku says putting on a fake smile as Mt Lady sees the bravery Izuku has and smiles.
"Of course I can kid just be careful on the walk home okay?" Mt Lady says as she begins growing once more before kneeling down and placing her hand on the floor as it draws Kamui and Death arms attention. Katsuki seeing this growls out and yells.
"And just where do you think you're going shitty Deku? We aren't done here with this conversation." Katsuki says as Kamui and Death arms block him from moving forward. Before stepping onto Mt. Lady's hands Izuku looks back to Katsuki with a broken smile and an empty look in his eyes.
"I'm not going anywhere Katsuki. I'm just gonna follow the advice you gave me before leaving school is all." Izuku says as he finishes his sentence Katsuki's eyes widen as he doubles his efforts to get to Izuku only to be stopped by Death arms and Kamui Woods once again as Mt Lady stands up full height to help Izuku get a view of where the park is.
"Hey now, Stop trying to attack the kid damn it. I'm tempted to send you to fucking Juvie for what you've done already you little shit. Now leave him alone." Death arms says as Katsuki immediately looks at them.
"Stop that shitty Deku now! He's going to kill himself!" Katsuki says as Kamui Looks up at Death Arms who grabs Katsuki by his shirt collar only to lift him up.
"Explain NOW!" Death arms yells as Katsuki just clicks his tongue.
"After school today I cornered that shitty nerd and I told that worthless Deku if he wanted a quirk so bad he could get one easy. All he'd have to do is pray to get a quirk in his next life and take a swan dive off a roof." Katsuki said as Death arms growls and shoves Katsuki into Kamui's arms.
"Lock that asshole up and call his fucking parents. I've got to stop this." Death arms says as he turns around he sees Izuku falling from Mt Lady's hand as she is trying to reach down and grab him realizing that both he and her wont make it in time.
(A few moments earlier.)
"That kid was a real asshole. Just cause you're quirkless doesn't give him the right to treat you like that. Now do you see where the park is little guy?" Mt lady asks her cute passenger as Izuku just looks at her and smiles some before looking around.
"Yeah I see it... I see where I need to go." Izuku says as just begins walking to the edge of Mt Lady's hand.
"Okay where am I going to take you and set you down?" The hero asks as Izuku just stops at the edge of her hand looking down at the gathered crowd.
"Oh nowhere. Here is just perfect. Thanks for the help Mt Lady... Really." Izuku says before he just lets himself lean forward and go limp as he falls forward. The action shocking Mt lady just long enough to not react at first. As Izuku begins falling and picking up speed Mt Lady reaches down to try and grab the kid only to realize she wont catch him in time.
Her quirk was just used to help this poor child commit suicide. Mt Lady's screams gain everyone's attention as Izuku closes his eyes ready to meet the pavement.
As Izuku's eyes close and he welcomes death with open arms his entire body changes directions mid fall as he feels strong arms wrap around his small frame before hearing the shattering of glass and feeling both him and his "savior" land safely in the middle of a floor. Izuku looks up and he's surprised to see All Might herself standing there.
"Why? Why did you do it?" Izuku asks before All Might could say anything.
"Why did you just do that? Why? Why did you save me?" Izuku begins as tears begin to well up in his eyes. As he asks this News camera drones are currently filming the exchange.
"I'm a hero silly. It's my job to save as many people." Is all All Might is able to say as Izuku screams at the top of his lungs.
"I DIDN'T ASK TO BE SAVED." Izuku's call shocking All Might.
"I didn't ask to be saved... I didn't want to be saved. I just want to- to." Izuku says as he begins crying and wraps his arms around himself. He drops to his knees.
"I just want to die. Why didn't you let me die?" Izuku says as he falls to his side in the fetal position as tears pour down his face as he begins to silently cry.
"I just want to die. I didn't want to be saved." Izuku says once more as he just begins to cry his eyes out in full. His choked sobs and stifled mumbling shocking the pro hero at just how broken this poor child is.
"Come on kid. Lets get you some help." All Might says as she leans down and grabs hold of Izuku hoping he wont resist. To her surprise Izuku just accepts his fate and continues to cry. This time against her shoulder as the Pro leaps out the window with a strong grip on Izuku keeping him safe and cradled in her arms. Izukus crying is louder now. His cries becoming choked cries of agony as he just lets it all out about how he just wanted to die. All might just keeps a soft but firm hold on Izuku as Death arms Immediately runs over.
"Thank god you saved him All Might. Poor kids been through hell most likely. The hostage he saved just admitted to telling this poor kid not a few hours ago just as they got out of school to kill himself so he can get a quirk. I'm having the little bastard arrested and held at the station till his parents arrive." Death arms says as he and All Might begin walking towards an Ambulance as News crews are snapping as many pictures as they can.
"Poor kid... Just a few hours ago he asked me if he could be a hero with out a quirk. I told him he couldn't. That he should just get a job as Police officer or a doctor because it's too dangerous to be a Hero." All might says feeling Izuku quiet down a little as he just recedes into himself and his eyes while still pouring tears just seem empty.
"All Might... Don't you know about the reform? Quirkless aren't even hired anywhere anymore and companies encourage this kind of discrimination because of how rare Quirkless are. The Prime Minister about 7 years ago got rid of the discrimination laws for the hiring process due to how rare quirkless are now adays. Poor kid wouldn't even be able to get a job flipping burgers at a fast food place let alone become a policeman or anything else." Death arms says as All might's Shocked expression says it all before she gets into the ambulance with Izuku.
"Please take us to this address. I need to get this kid to the proper help and I'm not leaving. I'll give you three minutes to get directions and start the ambulance. Please keep him restrained so he doesn't try to hurt himself." All might says as she hands the ambulance attendants a card with a specific address as she looks over to the Kid Izuku saved and who admitted to such an awful act. All might heads over to Katsuki and crosses her arms over her chest making her arms interlock just beneath her breasts.
"Death arms told me what you said. How could you EVER tell anyone no matter who it is to kill themselves?" All Might asks.
"It's not anyone. It's just that shitty nerd." Katsuki says as All might gets angry and narrows her eyes.
"He's a person and he has a name. His name is Izuku Midoriya. Now say it." All Might says as Katsuki just growls.
"His name is Deku. He's worthless just like all those other extra's who needed that shitty nerds help." Katsuki says as All Might just uncrosses her arms.
"Just remember, You needed his help too. I hope you know, You're going to get a real stern talking too from your parents." All Might says as Katsuki just laughs.
"Oh please, My dad will actually high five me because of what I got Izuku to just attempt. Besides it's not like it matters what happens to Shitty Deku. I'm going to be a hero and I can't have that fucking nerd holding me back." Katsuki says as All Might narrows her eyes as she heard his exchange with death arms before hand.
"Death arms told me you tried to warn them of Izuku trying to kill himself. If you want him gone so bad why tell them so they could try and keep him from killing himself?" All Might asks hoping to what ever god will listen he says something that makes sense.
"I warned them because I'm not gonna have that worthless Deku kill itself. If anyone is going to kill him It'll be me." Katsuki says as he growls.
"I see... Well, thanks for answering my questions. Enjoy the fact I'm going to use what ever influence I have to keep you out of any and ALL hero courses in all of Japan. I'm going to even request the courts stick you in Juvenal Hall for at least 3 years with MANDATORY psych evaluations every 3 days. Have a nice life kid." All might says as she walks away and gets into the Ambulance with Izuku as the Paramedics immediately leave the scene with it's passengers in tow.
