A/N: Hi, everyone! I'm soooo sorry that I didn't update sooner 'cause it's been a year since i last updated. It's just that first I didn't know what to write and next I didn't feel like it and I think I write worse like that. So I'll try to update sooner next time. So I hope you enjoy the next chapter.
"Miku do you see that girl?" Len asked while walking further.
Miku then answered: "Yes, and strangely she looks like you, master."
"Yes, I noticed that too. Miku, when we get home, I want you to search for more information about her." Len said in a serious voice.
"Of course I will." Miku said, smiling at her master.
As they walked out of the train station, they saw the three servants Baldroy, Finnian and Mey-Rin standing next to a carriage.
"Welcome back master, we thought we'd come and pick you up!" All of them said in a happy voice.
"Well that's nice, thank you." Len answered while getting in the carriage.
Since the young Phantomhive was still tired, he fell asleep very quickly as soon as they got in the carriage. The Earl woke up as they reached the Phantomhive mansion. Then he went towards his room. Miku followed him immediately.
"Miku, I want you to find out who that girl is and from where she is, because I'm quite sure she's not from here." Len said in a frustrated voice.
"Yes, of course." Miku said, walking down the staircase.
While Miku was searching, Len was working in his room.
After a while, Miku opened the door and smelling like food she said: "My master it's already six thirty and dinner is ready."
"Ah, perfect timing Miku." The young Phantomhive said looking very tired.
On the way to the dining room Miku informed her master: "My master, I am done researching that girl we saw earlier." Miku said cooly.
"Good, tell me the results now." The Earl ordered.
"She is from a very rich family that comes from and lives in Japan. Her surname is Kagamine and her first name Rin. In Asia she is a very popular pop star. Rin Kagamine is like you 11 years old only. Strangely her birthday is on the same day as yours. Apparently they have holiday houses in a lot of countries like England. She came to London alone with her butler named Kaito Shion. But I searched and searched and I couldn't find out for what she came to London." Miku answered without having to take a breath in between.
"Good let's ask Lau if he knows anything since he is also from Asia. But let's talk about this after dinner. I'm feeling hungry." Len said as they reached the door to the dining room, looking very seriously.
When the young Phantomhive stepped into the room Mey-Rin, Baldroy and Finnian were already sitting at the table ready to eat. Normally, when there was a guest or when the Earl wanted to eat in his room, Len's butlers didn't eat with him. But today there were no guests so they all ate together. For appetizer they had a cucumber soup and for the main dish they had brussel sprouts, some carrots, potatoes and two slices of a medium-rare Beef. After they ate the main dish, Miku brought dessert from the kitchen. Today's dessert was brioche and the Earl also had a banana on his plate. When they finished dinner, it was seven thirty so Len decided to work a bit more, while Miku and the others cleaned up dinner.
After a while Miku knocked on The Earl's door and came in shortly after that.
"My Master it is ten minutes before eleven. Should I get you ready to sleep?" She asked.
"Yes, I am actually a bit tired." Len said, yawning.
While getting ready to sleep, Len told his butler: "Miku, Lau will be back in London in three days so let's visit him one day after that."
"Yes of course, my master. Good night, my master." Miku said at the door.
After Miku closed the door, Len took quite long before he fell asleep because he was too curious about that girl. And he felt even more curious ever since his butler told him that she had her birthday on the same day as he himself.
Luckily for the Earl, he didn't have to wake up as early as usual. On normal days the young Phantomhive had to wake up at seven to do some work or to go somewhere. But today he had no work because he did everything yesterday and he also didn't need to go anywhere. So today he woke up at nine o'clock. Today his breakfast was egg benedict. Today Len decided to spend his day by taking a walk in London. He took his cane and told Miku to come along. The young Phantomhive stepped out of his mansion and followed the path to the town. When they reached the town, there were a lot of people there. After walking for a while in the crowded streets of London, Len spotted a blue haired person and shortly after that, he noticed that was Rin's butler Kaito.
"Kaito, are you coming?" Len heard a mysterious voice call. Shortly after that, he noticed the pop star running to her butler.
"Yes, my mistress. Where would you like to go now?" Kaito asked.
"Hmmm, let's go and buy some souvenirs." She said and walked further to the souvenir shop.
The Earl was thinking for a while and then decided: "Miku let's follow them and ask them why they're here. Maybe we don't have to ask Lau in the end." Len said, walking to the souvenir shop.
Also walking towards the shop, Miku answered: "Yes, of course."
In the shop there weren't a lot of people and with their hair colour it was quite easy to find them.
The young Phantomhive headed straight to them but before he could say a word Rin noticed them and said: "Hello, my name is Rin Kagamine but you can call me Rin if you want. It is very rare to see another person with yellow hair. What's your name?"
Len tried to make a smile and sound happy: "Hello, my name is Len Phantomhive. You may call me Len. Are you new here in London?"
"Are you the son of the owner of the Phantomhive company? Yes, I'm new here but I'm not living here. I'm just here on a business trip. Oh, and this is my butler. Is that your butler?" She said noticing Miku walking to Len.
Kaito then introduced himself: "It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Kaito Shion."
"It is also a pleasure to meet you. My name is Miku Hatsune. Yes, I am his butler." Miku told them.
Not sure if he should tell the truth Len answered Rin: "Actually my parents died when I was younger so now I am the owner."
"Oh I'm sorry, but Lady Kagamine needs to go now. We have an important meeting waiting for us. But if you want to talk more you could come to our place in four weeks on Saturday." Her butler suddenly said looking at his watch. Kaito then gave Miku a card with their house address on it.
"I'll see you then Len!" Rin shouted to Len as her butler was already walking away.
"Until next time Rin!" The young Phantomhive shouted to her as she walked out of the shop smiling at him.
She walked out of the shop with her bag in her hand: "Here hold this Kaito. Why were you so impolite? Len was talking about his parents and he looked so sad, then you just had to say that we have to go. You didn't even say bye to them!" She scowled at her butler.
"I'm sorry my mistress but I keep getting the feeling that there's something odd about them." Kaito answered ashamed of himself.
"It's okay I suppose, because they are the first people on the streets that talked to us ever since we were in London." His Mistress answered when they were getting into a carriage that was waiting for them.
"Yes, it is most likely because of that but I feel like there's something else about them." Kaito explained while riding in the carriage.
"Well enough of that, so where is the meeting today?" Rin asked her butler who looked a bit down.
"Oh, it's quite far from here it's where your next concert will be, somewhere around Manchester." he informed Rin.
"That's really far from here." Rin sighed and looked out of the window at the countryside they were riding past.
And finally after the long ride they reached their destination. The streets were very crowded and then without thinking much Kaito opened the carriage door and helped mistress Kagamine out of the carriage. But suddenly they heard thousands of screams of excitement then, after a few seconds, it all made sense to Rin and Kaito, everyone saw Rin Kagamine the famous Popstar almost worldwide. Kaito grabbed Rin gently and pulled her while he ran as fast as he could from the massive crowd that followed him and his mistress. They were running for quite a while now and Kaito heard Rin slowly getting out of breath and he still heard the crowd that followed them full of energy. He decided then to carry her so he quickly picked her up and ran further.
But finally they went out of sight and Kaito stopped, let her down and asked his mistress worried: "Are you feeling fine my mistress?"
Panting a bit Rin answered her butler: "Yes, I'm fine just a bit tired. Thank you, Kaito. I was so shocked I didn't know what to do anymore. Even worse is that I didn't even think that people are going to follow us."
"No, it was my fault. I'm supposed to think about that not you. But we need to hurry now." Kaito said pulling out a wig and a whitish jacket with a hood. He placed the wig slowly over her head now she had her hair very long and now she had a short straight fringe. Her hair colour still stayed the same though just in case some real hair stuck out it wouldn't look so obvious. Then out of her long hair Kaito made a nice bun and hid her face under the hood. After finishing with her disguise they ran to the building in which she would be performing. Rin and her butler entered the building and went backstage.
Just when she entered her manager gave her a shock: "Rin Kagamine you are five minutes late!"
"Aria calm down, I'm sorry." Rin said to her manager. While taking of her wig and hood.
"I'm sorry, but I was careless and let my mistress out of the carriage without any disguise, because in London no one knows her. Then the people followed us until I shook them off." Kaito tried to explain.
"Oh, ok, then if it was just that. But how many times do I have to tell you to call me Ia? And Rin, you know how I am before a concert." She said and asked her to sit down.
Rin laughed and said: "Well you were much worse at my first concert. And I wasn't even as nervous as you."
Ia also laughed but then said: "Ok now I think we should get started. So your concert is in two weeks on Thursday you know that right?"
"Of course I know that, so let's go on." Rin said happily.
"Now, to what you are going to sing. Did you write any songs or should I show you some your songwriters wrote? Because you are going to sing six songs." Ia said sounding more serious now and also drinking the tea she just poured.
"Well I wrote three songs and they are called Melancholic, Daughter of Evil and Butterfly on your Right Shoulder, so I still need three songs. And I have a question. Who else is singing at the concert? " Rin said while her butler gave Ia sheets of paper with notes and lyrics on it.
Ia smiled looking at the sheets of paper and giving RIn sheets of paper as well: "Oh they look good. And to your question Lily and Neru are also singing and I have the songs Meltdown, One of Repetition, Regret Message,Tokyo Teddy Bear and Kokoro. Which ones do you want to sing?"
"Hmm... I can't decide yet." Rin looked at the sheets of paper thoughtfully since she wasn't as good as Ia in imagining the song just by looking at the notes and lyrics even though she wrote songs herself.
"It's fine if you can't decide now. But it would be nice for the band if you knew which songs one week before the concert." Ia told her now smiling.
Rin looked relieved and answered: "Sure I'll decide by then."
"So, you're having three practices before the concert. One is this Friday, the next is on the Thursday next week and the last is on the Wednesday before the concert. And actually that would be all for now." Rin's manager informed her.
"Oh okay, if that's so." Rin said while Kaito started putting on Rin's wig and hood.
The young Phantomhive reached his mansion along with his Butler. He decided to play one of his favourite games he invented. As he stepped into the room with all the games that he invented and sat down on the couch he sighed and mumbled to himself: "I can't wait for four weeks to pass."
