I shot up, gasping as the memories flooded back to me. I frantically looked around only to see nothing. I mean, every single thing was black. It made little difference if my eyes were opened or closed.
I had just committed a sacrifice. I sacrificed myself. I took out everyone that was on the hit list, at least before I faded away.
Time was meaningless here in the Void. I could not tell how long I was in the Void. It may have been a day. On the other hand, it could have been a year or maybe a decade or much, much longer. It did not matter, but I could feel myself going borderline insane.
Then all of a sudden, I saw a small light in the Void. I was either going towards it, or it was coming to me. Either way, the white light was getting bigger and bigger. Eventually, it engulfed me in a blinding light.
I closed my eyes as tightly as I could to try to shield my eyes from the light, but it did not do any good. The light penetrated everything. It burned and itched for what felt like a half eternity. What happened next made me do a double-take. In front of my eyes, there was writing, eerily similar to that of a video game tutorial.
Congratulations, you have died. But you have been chosen to get another life!
I asked slowly, "Uh… is this like a game? Or is this just a fake thing?"
This is NOT a Gamer story. This is a Wanderer story.
It was a good thing. I did not play many games when I was alive. The only games I did play was; Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and a few racing games.
I frowned and asked, "Uh, then why is there a screen here, and what is it for?"
You have been chosen to travel the Omniverse.
I face palmed and said, "You already said that." Then, I shook my head and asked, "Do I get to choose what world I go to, or maybe even worlds?"
There was a long pause before it replied:
Yes, you may choose a world out of these:
Star Wars
How to Train your Dragan
Marvel Comics
MCU
DC Comics
Minecraft
My Hero Academia
Elder Scrolls
Star Trek
Avatar the Last Air Bender

I took a deep breath and asked slowly, "If I chose a world, will I be myself, or will I get to have a chance at being something more?"
Processing… Processing… Processing….
After a few minutes of processing, the screen changed to a blue screen with white writing
It will depend on what world or worlds you go to.
I gave a slow nod and then asked, "Can I change worlds after I choose?"
Please Wait… Please Wait… Please Wait…
After several minutes of waiting, I closed my eyes and slowly thought of the worlds that I would like to go to. Of course, I would love to go to the MCU, but as I am, I would not last very long… I mean, sure, there are ordinary people there; Iron Man, War Machine, Hawk Eye, Black Widow, Nick Fury, and a few others. However, that does not mean that I want to be a baseline human in either Marvel or DC…
Yes, you may. You may change worlds after finishing or completing the arc or story.
I sighed softly but gave a slow nod and said, "Can I go to Avatar the Last Air Bender?"
I waited for only a few seconds before it said to me.
Yes.
I slowly nodded my head and then said, "I would like to go to the universe of Avatar, the Last Air Bender."
What Nation would you like to be:
Air
Earth
Fire
Water
I thought about it and then mused to myself, 'Hmm, all sound good, but I want more, but if I chose one, it would be Fire Nation.'
I smirked and then said, "I want to be a Fire Nation Nobel or a child of one."
Processing…
Yes, you may.
I grinned and then asked, "May I have a companion, a familiar?
Yes.
I grinned and then said, Night Fury as my companion."
Loading…
Load successful.
Very well. Choose wisely.
I grinned and then said, "I want to be a Dark Avatar. An Avatar of Chaos."
Processing… Please Wait…
Load successful.
What Nation would you like to be raised in?
I thought about it and then said, "How about on an island near the home land of the Fire Nation. I want to be a young child, not a baby, though.
Very well…

(First Person Point of View)
I found myself in the body of a toddler. I could not tell my age, but I knew the drill. This was not exactly my first rodeo.
I saw my two parents smiling down at me as I walked towards them with a bit of difficulty, my brain knew how to walk, but my body did not.
They were speaking in the primary language that most everyone knew. Yet, it sounded like English to me.
My father had black hair on the top of his head and a few days of scruff on his beard. His beard was salty and peppery. It had both grey and black in it.
I turned to my mother, and she had silver eyes and brown hair. She was pretty.
My father smiled and said, "Ju-Long, my, have you grown!"
I mused to myself and thought, 'So Ju-Long is my name now… if I remember right, it means Dragon or Mighty as a Dragon… I like it.'
I took a deep breath and breathed out. All that came out was hot air, not even a spark. I guess I needed to grow my Chi Pool if I wanted to bend. I wonder how old I will be when compared to the rest of the Gaang.
My father chuckled softly as he smiled fondly at me. He made a ball of fire flicker to life in the palm of his hand as he made it dance.
I reached out my hand and tried to control it, but nothing happened.
I took a deep breath in and slowly let it out, in and out, in and out. The candles around the house seemed to burn brighter and dim with my breathing.
My mother smirked and said to her husband, "Told you, he would be a bender! Look at him, he is not even four, and he is already using breathing techniques." She puffed out her chest in pride and said, "The ones that I taught him!"
My father rolled his eyes fondly and said, "Yes, dear… you were right. Now, all we need is to do is teach him is how to control his bending and show him how to bend." My dad's smile slowly faded, and he said slowly, "We can't let anyone find out about his bending at such a young age. He may be three and a half years old, but that is too young to be bending. If Ozai or his father found out about this… they would take him away from us."
My mother said to him, with a frown, "But," she sighed softly and shook her head, "You are right, Yang… but what do we do?"
Yang said, "Lian, we have to keep his bending secret."
I frowned but knew that there were right. I would have to go to school for the Fire Benders and Nobels if it were found out that I could bend, at such a young age, no less.
My mother picked me up and shushed me as she held me against her chest.
I yawned and closed my eyes as I fell asleep in her arms.
