(Three Months Later)
(Ju-Long's Point of View)
It has been about three full moons since the Fire Nation killed my parents.
I managed to scavenge a few valuable items, Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation money. Mostly Gold and Silver. They were hidden deep inside the Mine. Everything in the house was ransacked and burned. There was nothing of use in the rubble.
I swore vengeance against the Fire Nation, and I would do anything and everything in my power to make the Fire Nation pay. I may make the whole world pay, burn the whole world down if I have to. I do not care who or what gets in my way.
I took a calming breath and sighed as I shook my head. First things first, I had to get off this Island, somehow…
I used an Axe to cut down some trees and used my Fire Bending to make more delicate cuts. I sighed as I made myself a large Canoe with sea rigs going off to the sides for stability. That and for storage of more food and water. Since I have never left the Island before. Though I overheard that there was an island due West of me, a couple of days sail away.
After crafting my boat, I began to make three sails for the Canoe. One main one and two back ups. I made sure to grab everything of value before I set sail heading West at night during Low Tide. I used Fire Bending to propel myself into the deeper water, praying and hoping for the best.
(Line Break)
(Ju-Long's Point of View)
(One Week Later)
It took seven days of; Sailing, Rowing, and Jet-Propulsion, to get to a new Island. But, of course, I did not enjoy any of it. It was hard work, and it was exhausting.
I sighed in relief as I beached my Seafaring Canoe on the sandy beach of a new Island. I gathered everything that I could carry that was of use. The rest I would leave on the boat for now. I pulled the boat as far as I could into the shrubs, not wanting to lose it until I knew where I was.
I could not help the feeling that I was being watched as I looked around the bare beach. I wanted to enjoy the shade of the Forest, but I had the idea that it would be dangerous for me.
I sighed as I walked on the beach near the Sea, and then I began to walk around the Island, hoping to see the signs of Civilisation. As I walked, I heard a stick break in the Forest. I was glad that I was a reasonable distance from the Woods now.
After what felt like hours of walking, I saw a wooden dock of sorts. I grinned slightly, knowing that people had to have built that. I had my money, my weapons, and my tools with me. I kept my slowish pace to save energy as I walked to the dock.
I saw an Iron-Clad Ship pulling up to the dock. I growled in anger and rage, seeing that it was a Fire Nation Vessel. I knew that I could strike the hull of the ship with Lightning, and it would stun, if not kill, most of the people on the ship. Oh, how I wanted to do that… but I knew that it would be suicide to try that. I did not know if this Island was part of the Fire Nation or if it was part of the Earth Kingdom.
I sighed softly as I began to walk again, at an angle towards the town and toward the Forest. I took a calming breath and muttered, "I wish I could have revenge… without a price. I would love to gut the Fire Nation Soldiers with a rusty spoon."
I saw it was a small town. I smiled slightly as I saw it. I could tell it was a fishing community of sorts. I walked towards a Tavern and clutched my belongs to myself, not wanting to be stolen from.
I made it to the Tavern without drawing too much attention to myself. Instead, I smiled as I got into the shade of the Tavern. I could smell food and drink from the doorway.
I walked to the bar counter and said, "I would like a room for the night and a meal, please."
The lady glanced down at me and said, "That will be Fifty Copper Pieces."
I nodded my head and said, "Thank you." I handed her a Silver Coin.
Her eyes widened slightly as she said, "You're welcome, my lord."
I nodded my head as I asked her, "Which room?"
"The door at the end of the hall on the right." She said more calmly.
I nodded my head as I walked up the stairs and towards my room.
