Prologue

Welcome to the wondrous world of the Johto region. This is where 100 more Pokemon were spotted other than the original 150 in Kanto. Three years have passed since Jake beat the Indigo League. Selena, a girl vows one day to top even the greatest champion herself. "I will do it" she said when she saw Jake win the championship. However no one had seen him for the past 6 months. One nuzlocke has ended. Can this girl make it through the Johto League and make it up to Jake or will she fall?

Hi. I didn' see you there. My name is Selena and today I'm going to get my first Pokemon from Professor Elm. At least I was supposed to but my mom told me to wait until my Pokegear came back from the repair shop so she can call and annoy me with her speaking and her existing. I was watching TV in my room. My Aunt arrived a couple hours ago and she left again already. She never stayed long .She was supposed to stay with us for a week in two months. I'm happy I won't be here for that. I love my family but my cousin is annoying. Anyway thought I'd introduce mysel

"Selena, can you come down the stairs please?" My mom said from downstairs. I sighed and turned off my TV. For some reason I had the thought I wasn't going to return to it.

"What Mom?" I asked

"Your Pokegear came back from the repair shop dear. Here you go." My mom handed me my Pokegear and I gave her a hug. "Now Elm needed to see you a week ago didn't he? Now go on Selena.

"Thanks mom" I said as I ran out the door. I also set the time and day of the week on my Pokegear while I walked to Elm's lab. When I looked up I saw a boy with red hair run to the side of the lab. I shrugged my shoulders. "Not my problem."

I walked into the lab. Elem saw me immediately. "Ah Selena Good morning." I nodded in agreement. "Now you're probably why I asked you here?"

"The thought has crossed my mind." I replied

"Well I need you to go pick something up for me… on route 30. My friend, Mr. Pokemon. He found…. What's so funny?" He asked when he noticed my laughing.

"What's your friend's real name?" I asked when I finally got myself under control

"Everyone calls him Mr. Pokemon. I don't know his real name?"

I sighed and said. "Alright, so you want me to pick up what he found?"

"Exactly, but as tall grass is on the way to Mr. Pokemon's you'll need a Pokemon for yourself. I have 3 Pokemon here. You can take one with you.

"I'll be fine going alone." I said and turned around but Elm stopped me.

"If you do this task for me. I will register you for the gym challenge." I turned towards him

"If you're sure about doing that…" I walked past him toward the table. I looked over the three and I picked up a Pokeball. "Then I'll pick this one. I choose you…
