For the first time in forever, Jessie finally got a full night's sleep. The banger she had at the beach really paid off. Her Summer plans were officially over.

She got out of bed, began to brew her morning cup of Joe, and turned on the TV. She was still amazed at how well her Summer turned out.

But as soon as she turned it on, there was a news report with the headlines: 'Famous Food Critic gone Missing.'

"What...?" she said, tuning into the news report.

The reporters were discussing the disappearance of a famous celebrity, one that the blonde MILF had an unfortunate encounter with the week before.

"Damien Flamingo, star of Drive-thrus, Diners, N' Diesel, was reported missing this morning. The residents of Fried Alaska have began searching for the food critic. He was last seen heading back into the desert city until he mysteriously vanished. We spoke to Ms. Cassandra Crimsonn, Damien's fiancé, for any further information on the case."

The camera then panned over to a woman with dark red hair, big glasses, and purple clothing. She also wore a pearl necklace.

"Me and him had a disagreement and he disappeared for over a week. I don't know what happened to him, but I can't help but feel guilty that he just disappeared like that. I know he's a bit hot-headed and stubborn, but he doesn't deserve to die. I hope they find him."

Jessie rolled her eyes, thinking Cassandra was extremely naïve on her future husband's personality. Hot-headed is an understatement.

They then went back to the newsroom.

"If you have any information on the whereabouts of this man, please call the number below."

Jessie then turned off the TV, as they seemed to be taking a commercial break.

"Jeez, looks like we won't be hearing from Damien ever again. I can't say he didn't deserve it." she said to herself.

She poured her cup of coffee, grabbed her phone and began to wind down. It was the end of July. Her to do list was officially complete. But she was still unsure as to what else she could do.

"I think I'll call Tiffany." she said. She grabbed out her phone and dialed her. Hopefully, she's not busy today.

It took a few rings, but the blondie finally picked up.

"Hello?" she said, answering her mother.

"Hey, sweetie. How are you?" the blonde MILF said, greeting her daughter.

"I could be better."

Jessie paused, caught off guard by that discouraging response. Could be better?

"Wait, what? What do ya mean? Is everything alright?" she asked, getting concerned.

"Y-Yeah, yeah. I'm just, working on something right now. But, enough about that. How was the beach trip yesterday?"

"Oh, it was amazing! I wish you could've been able to make it. We had so much fun." she said, sounding gleeful about the beach banger she had.

"Yeah, sorry about that. I was at work. But, I heard you had a good time. Ashley told me she played live music too. Blitzkrieg Bop, eh?" she said, teasing her mother about the old punk song.

"Heh, yeah. It seemed like Ashley knew what kind of punk songs I like. Ah, The Ramones. Rest in peace."

Suddenly, she heard the sound of tearing. It sounded like tape or bandages.

"What was that?"

"What was what?" Tiffany asked, not aware that the noise was loud.

"It sounded like tape. Are you doing something kinky?"

"No, no! I'm just patching something up. Don't worry about it."

The blonde MILF chuckled. "I'm kidding. But, I have to let you go. Tell JD I said hi."

"I'll do that. Talk to you later."

They both hung up. In her mind, that was a rather strange phone call. What's Tiffany trying to patch up? Must be a home improvement type of thing.

She then spent the rest of the day relaxing. Of course, she received a few phone calls from people. First was Aiko.

"Hey, Jessie! Some party, eh? We had so much fun." the Japanese woman said, sounding joyful.

"We sure did. Can't believe Lola and Renee schooled you in volleyball."

"Yeah, well I'm not exactly into sports. But, the dancing was one helluva time!"

"It sure was. So, what are you doing tonight?" the blonde MILF asked.

"I dunno. Gonna take it easy tonight. Ms. Chainz is off this weekend. Might open a bottle of scotch or something."

"Ah, alright. Well, I'll talk to you later."

They both hung up. Aiko's so much better than she was last year. Good on her.

She then received another phone call. It was from Lola.

"Hey, girl!" she greeted in a peppy tone.

"Well, hi. How's it going, girlfriend? Did you have a good time yesterday?" Jessie asked.

"Yeah, I did. Unfortunately, I'm gonna have a productive week next week. Can't believe Summer's ended already. Where does the time go?"

"It goes to your work life. I'm just glad you had a good time. We'll hang out next time you get a chance."

"Alright. Well, I gotta let you go. I'm going to be meeting Ms. Anne-Maire later for a nice cup of coffee and business chat."

"Alright. See ya, girl."

Another good phone call. Lola's such a hardworking woman. She doesn't get enough credit for what she does.

She got one last phone call, and it was from someone she never thought would call her.

"Beli?" she said, wondering why her Indian friend was calling at such a random time.

"Hey, Jessie. Let's go bowling!" a nerdy voice said.

"Simon? What are you doing with Beli's phone?"

"Oh, I uh, I... I didn't have your number. Me and Beli are going bowling and I wanted to invite you."

She chuckled, flattered at the invite. "Ah, thanks sweetie. I'm gonna have to pass though. I'm having a lazy day today. I appreciate it."

"Uh, okay." he said, hanging up.

Well that was random.

Summer was officially over. Jessie really did make the most of it. She hung out with her daughter, spent plenty of time with Lola, met a celebrity that ended up being an asshole, went to the water park, and even had family time with Tiffany and Justin, as well as attending church for the first time in forever.

Overall, the blonde MILF was satisfied with what she had accomplished. She had herself the wet, hot, SEXY, Summer she dreamed of. Life was good.

THE END.

Message from the author:

Six stories done. I had a good time writing this one. It was a break from the serious/dark stuff that I've been known for, so it was a breath of fresh air to the readers.

In a way, this was a gateway story for the ones that will follow after. There's plenty of foreshadowing in here for the next story I will be making. But, I'm glad I made something much more light-hearted compared to Overdosed, Bittersweet Vacation, It's A Tolerable Life, The Fairy & The Sociopath, or Lil Goth in the Big City (which was the darkest in my opinion, so far...).

But, I'm glad that I finally finished my sixth story. The next one will also be a gateway story of sorts, though it's about another character who actually appeared in this story. The next one will focus on Damien Flamingo and how he came to be seen as an asshole, or rather, an ignited incel.

But thanks for reading this slice of life, comedy/family story. I know it still has a couple of serious subjects brought up, but it's not about suicide, drug addiction, criminals, etc. It's just about a group of girls trying to have fun and enjoy their Summer.

Thanks for reading and you know the drill: The next story starts in about a week. I still need some time to recharge, as well as finalize my brainstorming/ideas I have jotted down. -JustinDark98
