Chapter Twenty-Eight: Obi Wan's per.

Obi Wan looked around, pleasantly pleased. The bed was made, but looked as if it had been harassed by toodlers (which was probably true) And Anakin looked tired. But happier than ever. Yes, taking care of Luke and Leia 24/7 was a handful for him- but it also was so much more. It brought the joy Anakin had Obviously needed so desperately.

No more relapses.

No more nightmares.

And let's face it, Obi Wan needed that joy too. Luke was full of purpose, and strong a determined- like his mother. He preferred to stay back, and watch. Not charge into action. Leia, however, was reckless like her father, but cared strongly for her friends and parents. (but maybe not her brother since they were always pushing each other around:) she was filled with the same burning passion that filled her father. They would make a excelent team when they grew up… yes they truly would.

……

Anakin's per:

Anakin stood, letting the cool night air refresh him.

No more voice.

No more agony.

Sure, he still had an occasional nightmare. But the voice was gone. And if it ever thought of returning, Obi Wan would deal with it. He was finally free. Free of himself. He let the wind praticaly lift his hair up. Obi Wan came over.

"Master." Anakin said, nodding.

"Anakin, you know I am no longer your master."

"You are my master of peace… And my foundation, in… troubling times."

"Thank you- but you know what I mean."

"Do I?"

"Yes."

"Hmph."

Obi Wan rolled his eyes. "So, how are you?"

"Good- no, overjoyed. But it is chilly."

"Then go inside."

"I like it."

"Then don't"

"Ok."

They stood in peacful silence, each imerged in their thoughts.

Anakin smiled. He was content- happy.

"Daddy! Daddy!"

"Leia!" Anakin exclamed, Scooping up his- take that in for a second- HIS little girl in his arms, and twirling her around. She squealed with delight and shouted-

"Again! Again!"

"Alrgihty!" He twirled her around faster, and lifted her high. She clapped her hands shouting with joy. He couldn't help but smile.

Luke was a little more… shy. He stood, leaning on the door frame, paciently waiting his turn. Anakin laughed. He was so much like Padme.

"Come here, you didn't think I forgot about you!" Luke walked, or more stumbled (they were still learning how to walk) over, and Anakin scooped him up, and sat him on his head, grabbing his feet. He laughed and squealed with delight. Anakin smiled, then broke out into laughter. So did Obi Wan, and soon, they both were howling with laughter, gasping for breath.

Anakin looked over to the window, and saw Padme watching with a smile, and it made him cry. She looked so much in stance as Luke had moments before. Padme, seeing his broad smile, and tears walked over. Rubbing his shoulder. "What?" She said softly. Soft… like her.

"He's jut so much like his mother…" He said, crying because he was so happy. He was complete. He was with his wife, and son and daughter. And his best friend. All his best friends. He was with the people he cared about most. Padme, Obi Wan, Ahsoka, Rex, all of them. He had always searched for more. To complete his life. Well, now he was complete.

No longer was he left with a sense that there was something missing.

He was finally whole.

Complete.

Content.

Happy.
