A Different POV, Evernight Castle, Ouranos.
As I write down some notes in a random notebook I had on hand, I start thinking for a bit.
While I wanted to have Salem be the one to teach me how to control Grimm, I still asked Jinn a lot of stuff that I wanted to know.
First of all, Ozma and Salem apparently are exes.
The entire conflict of the entire world is a fucking lover's quarrel.
As soon as I had found out, I had casually mentioned it to Salem making her freeze.
She slowly turned to face me with an angry expression as I put a hand to cover my face while holding in laughs.
You can already guess she took out her whip and tried to catch me.
(She's still trying by the way.) I think to myself as I use my wind to block another whip attack.
While I'm writing notes and stuff she's using this time to try and catch me off-guard since I'm sitting on the ground 'defenseless'.
It's pretty funny how she's not giving up despite how many times I've blocked her without even looking at her. She's quite stubborn I see.
Maybe I should do something to stop her?
Meh, I'll think about it later.
Grimm are quite an interesting subject. It's kind of like creating a new species with them, except the species are made only to kill stuff and destroy. The magic inside of them was apparently made by the God of Darkness first before Salem took over and began working.
That explains why so many of the new titans are only Titan level and not Elder Titans. Most of the strong Elder Titans were made by the God of Darkness long ago. Salem does not have control over those ones, and even some of the smarter and stronger Titan-level Grimm aren't under her control.
Oh well, I'll just control them or destroy them when the time comes. I'm not worried about them unless they're somehow past level 30. THAT would be a problem.
Anyways, I stop my note-writing for a second as I feel Salem attacking me with her whip again.
Switching it up for once, I let the whip get near me before I grab it with my right arm and have it wrap around my hand, then pull it forcibly.
There, she should be strong enough to not trip too mu-
My inner monologue is interrupted by something slamming into me from behind as my face plants itself straight into my notebook.
I am not a bookworm, I am a predator of worms. Do not call me that. Now, what just hit me?
I hear groaning as whatever is on my back gets up and STILL sits on me.
"You're free to get off of me any time, Salem." I say with a wry smile as she doesn't move.
"Why? I have you right where I want you for once. Under me." She says with a giggle as I could audibly hear her smirk.
"Right…" I use my wind to pick her up as she squeaks from being levitated.
I smirk at the sound she makes, watching her blush as she crosses her arms despite being in the air.
"Let me down!" She orders me with a glare. I can tell it doesn't have much heat in it though.
"How about… no." I say as I begin spinning her with my wind and she begins paling even more and letting out curses that would make a sailor blush.
I on the other hand am going to continue writing in my notebook.
Controlling and creating Grimm is probably gonna be something I do in my free time. It's not really something you dedicate too much time to unless you're trying to mass-produce a shit ton of them or you're trying to make an Elder Titan.
Since I'm not really planning on either, keyword on planning since you never know, I should just be able to make a couple new species in my free time and let them out into the world once they're done.
I really really want to make a lot of birds and flying Grimm but the problem is that those are the most annoying to deal with for humans other than fish Grimm, which have the territory advantage at all times in the water.
Oh, I bothered Salem so much when I kept asking her if there was a way to eat fish Grimm.
Speaking of which.
"Are you positive there's no way to make the Fish Grimm edible Salem?" I stop her from spinning as she begins to take a lot of deep breaths with a red face, probably from all of the blood flowing to her head while spinning, and she glares at me.
"For the fucking last time Ouranos, you can't eat the Grimm." She says exasperatedly as she begins trying to claw her way towards me, clawing at the wind my way.
"But like, why not though? What's stopping me?" I ask her with a grin as she puffs.
"They are made out of magic! You can't just eat magic-" She begins trying to lecture me, which I interrupt my casting Create Food and Water and eating one of the tasteless fish there as I stare her right in the eye.
She looks at me speechlessly for a while, blushing at once again being shown up by me so easily and casually.
"I- How in the two fucking brothers did you just make food out of magic? What the hell even is your field of study in magic?" She asks in confusion, contemplating everything she knew about magic.
"Yes." I answer back as if clearing up everything.
"What the heck do you mean YES?" She starts glaring at me as she begins huffing angrily.
"Yes, I practice the fields of magic. I don't understand what's confusing here Salem. Please start keeping up or else I'll have to find another teacher to help me with my Grimm Studies." I say with confusion, enjoying the look of rage that crosses her face before she begins counting down from 10, trying to calm herself down.
"..6..5… FUCK IT COME HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT I WILL DESTROY YOU." She stops counting down after she couldn't calm herself down and begins futilely struggling in the air, looking like a cat stuck as she tries to claw her way towards me as she exhales loudly and glares at me.
"Oh no, the angry cat is trying to get me. What shall I ever do?" I let out a single tear from my right eye as I 'cower' into myself away from her figure which is still trying to claw me.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING A CAT YOU DUMB BIRD? I'LL SHOW YOU CAT ONCE I GET OUT OF THIS STUPID AIR THING." She yells out as she begins spinning, courtesy of me.
"NO! NOT AGAIN- BLARGH..." She starts getting motion sickness as she holds her hands in front of her mouth, trying not to throw up.
"I'm gonna go inspect some of the Grimm in the basement. Have fun trying to catch me." I saw as I start walking out of the room, leaving Salem to scream at me.
"OURANOS IF YOU DON'T LET ME DOWN I SWEAR I-" Before she could finish her sentence, her wish is granted as she is dropped onto the ground roughly, face-planting into the ground.
"I'm going to murder that bird…" Those were her last words as she dozed off with a red face.

…
While stuff is going down, Menagerie Capital Harmakhis, Horus.
I take a sigh as I watch the people in the temple begin rushing out once Aurous's fight ends, going to watch the fight in their own homes so that they don't have to push and shove to see from the scall screen in the temple that Ghira was using.
I swear, I could point to a potato and call it the holy potato of Horus and people would begin bowing to it in awe.
Oh a better idea, get a small box that looks completely normal and call it The Holy Grail of Horus! Capable of granting any wish as long as Horus approves of it!
I truly am a genius.
I see Ghira approach my familiar, probably because Jinn and Kali are doing… Something to Blake right now.
A wise man, when women do women stuff you let them do it and don't interrupt them no matter what.
Even a god knows the basic survival guide of men.
As he reached where my familiar was situated, he bows to it.
"Lord Horus, my people have never heard of this Aurous before… May I ask who are his parents? Or at least what kingdom he was from? Not to mention, how has he been chosen and trained in such little time while you were here in Menagerie?" He says slowly, still bowing.
Damn, pulling out the hard questions on me so quickly, are you now?
What a good man, not afraid of asking this type of stuff even in front of a god.
My mist slowly gathers near Ghira, making everyone look towards him, but since the mist is only near him they do not disturb us.
Jinn tilts her head at the mist as she begins opening our telepathic connection.
{What's going on, Aurous?} She asks with curiosity.
{Nothing, Jinn. He's asking me a couple questions about my body in Mistral right now, and I'm gonna need to talk to him directly to answer him instead of the yes and no's of my familiar.} I answer back, alleviating her curiosity as she nods.
{Okay! Have fun or something.} She answers with a smile as she cuts the connection and focuses on… Whatever the hell she's doing with Kali.
I nod as I look towards Ghira, who was still waiting for me to respond.
"Excuse me for taking a second to respond Ghira, my follower had just contacted me and I was speaking to them. Anyways, time is relative my child. As long as you have enough power, one second could mean even a million years. Young Aurous is not even a year old when it comes to being in this world, yet he's still seventeen. I will not bore you with details about how time-space works, for this, is within the realm of gods." Everything I said there is technically true, I haven't been in this world for a year yet, but I'm still seventeen years old. Time-space is usually kept as high-level spells, like the time stop spell for level 20s, but would be something that only gods would truly 'understand'.
"Yes. I apologize for asking a question that's relating to the domain of gods, Lord Horus. I think I understand now, Aurous is not a born faunus, but one that you created." He says, with a bit of shame in his tone.
He probably thinks that I had to make Aurous since no Faunus was 'worthy' or something like that, I'm gonna go ahead and deny that thought right away before it festers.
"You would still be somewhat incorrect my child. Aurous was born just like every other one of my children, he merely had… Special factors in his birth that makes him slightly different. You can say that out of all of my children, Aurous has the most of my essence inside of him." I try to sound as vague as possible while dissuading him from any wrong thoughts.
He seems to nod for a second before his face seems to realize something as it brightens up and his eyes widen in shock, confusing me.
"You mean that you are the father of Aurous? Thus he is a demigod! I understand now!" Ghira yells out making everyone quickly look at him in shock before turning to Jinn who is aggressively trying to open our connection right now.
I answer her calls as she begins screaming in my mind.
{Where the heck did that come from? Didn't you say you'd act as if that body is just a champion? Where the heck did the demigod thing come from?} She keeps asking.
{I don't know! He seemed to have just thought of that and was so shocked he yelled it out before I could confirm or deny anything.} I say back as she mentally pouts at me.
{Wait, this can work. Trust me, tell them to wait a second before asking.} I order her as she gives a mental salute and cuts the connection.
I look at Ghira, who's still looking at my mist and familiar in shock, and sigh deeply.
"Yes, Aurous is indeed my son, my direct son that is. I took him once he was birthed and have been training him as well as teaching him all that I can so that he may protect my people once he grows. I can only hope that he does as I taught him." I say slowly as if reminiscing something bitterly.
"I see. I understand now, do not worry Lord Horus! From what I've seen in the tournament, he had brought retribution to our kind after he defeated that Faunus hater easily. I'm sure he will be a great champion!" Ghira nods happily as if reassuring me that I am going to be a good champion.
Oh please, keep complimenting me more.
"Thank you my child, if there are no other questions, I recommend going back to watching the tournament. I will be watching as well." I ask so I can go back to focusing on my other body.
"There is none my lord! Thank you for answering me." He bows once again and walks away.
My mist slowly disappears as I see Jinn looking at everyone with a smile, starting to make a connection with me telepathically.
{Yes, Jinn?} I ask once I accept.
{What do I tell them now?}
{Tell them that Aurous is a demigod child of mine that I had raised in the sky and trained to protect the Faunus, and this is his debut.} I answer her.
{Wow, nice backstory you made there in a few seconds master.} She ends with a teasing tone at the end, blushing slightly herself.
{Thanks, I made it myself.} I answer dryly as she mentally pouts at me.
{Whatever. What do I do if they ask anything else?} She asks me, still pouting.
{Improvise, adapt, overcome, or something.} I answer back as I cut the connection, watching her face grow shocked before quickly schooling it before someone notices it. She now has an angry frown on her face, though it's still cute and unintimidating.
I shake my head with a sigh as I start looking through Aurous's eyes again.
What a Jinn moment.
…
…
Back to the Tournament, Mistral Arena, Aurous.
It seems Ouranos me is having fun. Sucks to be Horus me, I guess I'm back to being a demigod now.
I did hear tales about very powerful demigods back in my world, they always did seem very cool.
I guess I must be the powerful and cool demigod of this world, I already was doing 2 parts of that, all that's left is the demigod part.
Though that'll have to wait considering how no one in the tournament knows I'm a demigod yet, and I'm unsure if it's going to spread out of Menagerie or not.
Though knowing my people, they're gonna flex on the humans so hard by letting them know I'm a demigod. I hope no one is stupid enough to try and capture me to experiment or something like that.
Knowing this world's wisdom though…
Yeah… Anyway.
It's time for the Amazon to fight the Pixie girl.
I see both of them stand in front of each other in the arena as Pyrrha stands in a serious stance, looking at her opponent carefully.
Pixi is still posing for everyone in the stands, what a troll.
As the judge asks her to take a stance, she nods happily towards them as she takes out her weapons.
It's a pair of… Pistol daggers? They're right now a pair of handguns but I can tell by their design that they mechashift into daggers.
Also because I had been watching all of their fights and saw her mechashift them multiple times.
Her opponent, on the other hand, Pyrrha, has a spear and a shield, with the spear mechashifting into a Xiphos aka a type of weapon used by ancient jreeks in my old world.
It also turns into a rifle but she hasn't used that a lot.
As the announcer signals the beginning of the match I see Pixi immediately shoot twice at Pyrrha, with Pyrrha raising her shield to block the bullets from hitting her, blocking her view as Pixi begins running around Pyrrha and taking shots at her from afar.
It seems Pixi is playing the endurance game. Will she run out of bullets first or will Pyrrha lose first?
That's assuming Pyrrha stays still, however.
Pyrrha after seeing that Pixi had shot from a different place started moving as she quickly zigzagged her way towards Pixi with Pixi backing up and trying to guess where Pyrrha is gonna become stationary while also still moving.
Pyrrha is, fortunately, able to reach Pixi due to her impressive speed without being hit once, only blocking a single shot that reached her with her shield.
Once Pyrrha gets too close for comfort, Pixi mechashifts one of her handguns into a dagger, the dagger itself looking more like a rainbow art disaster than a weapon.
Pyrrha jabs forward with her spear toward Pixi as Pixi raises her dagger to deflect the spear, only for her dagger to deflect it terribly as the spear hits Pixi's shoulder.
Pixi releases her semblance as a wave of… dust? Not Remnant dust but normal dust that sort of looks like Pixie dust, an item in my old world.
Though considering that Pyrrha seems to be coughing after being blasted by the dust, I'm guessing this type of dust does not bring luck and good fortune.
Pixi uses this opportunity to jab her dagger into Pyrrha's torso, getting a clean hit on Pyrrha, but as she's mechashifting her other handgun into a dagger to try and attack again, Pyrrha shield bashes Pixi in the face, making Pixi dizzy for a second as Pyrrha composes herself and stabs forward with her spear, getting another hit on Pixi's shoulder as Pixi is sent back, away from Pyrrha.
Both of them take a second to compose themselves once again as they slowly stare at each other.
Suddenly, Pixi begins mechashifting her daggers back into handguns while Pyrrha throws her shield at Pixi and mechashifts her spear into a rifle.
As soon as the handguns are mechashifted, Pixi moves them to block the shield but is too slow as the handguns barely block the shield at the cost of one of Pixi's handguns which is now on the floor to her right.
Pixi turns away from her fallen weapon towards Pyrrha just in time to see Pyrrha taking a shot at her with her rifle, making Pixi try and shoot back with her handgun but is not fast enough as a "BANG!" sounds out from Pyrrha's weapon and hits Pixi's aura, lowering it to red as Pixi falls to the ground.
The crowd explodes into cheering as Pyrrha is announced to be the winner of the semi-finals and will be moving to be against me in the finals.
Pyrrha slowly walks to Pixi with a smile as I assume they exchange congratulations and compliments and Pyrrha helps Pixi up from the ground.
They're having a girl moment I think. How wholesome.
Pixi says something and Pyrrha looks at me as she narrows her eyes, before giving a small smile to Pixi and shrugging.
Pixi congratulates her one last time and walks out of the arena as Pyrrha goes to stand next to me.
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen! The moment you've all been waiting for… Is not now since we're taking a 30 minutes break for our champion to rest so that she can be 100% for her final battle!" The announcer teases the crowd as they all begin yelling curses at the guy making him laugh and wave them off.
How amusing.
Pyrrha and I are brought into a waiting room once again as the tournament staff leaves us alone in this room.
This is really awkward, she's staring at me directly and I'm looking away from her, I can practically feel my other 2 bodies laughing at my misfortune while sympathizing with me since they're experiencing this feeling too.
I turn around slowly as I see her quickly look away.
Woman I can feel your stare you looking away does not hide anything!
"So erm, isn't leaving both of us in the same room kind of a bad idea in case one of us was to trash talk the other while in here?" I slowly state as I watch her snap her head towards me in relief, before realizing she did that too fast and looking away again before slowly turning to me this time.
I don't just forget you snapping your head towards me lady!
"Well… Are you planning on trash-talking with me?" She asks slowly with a tilt.
"Not really. That's too beneath me. What am I supposed to say? 'You cannot withstand my overwhelming power for I, Aurous Revi, have a dream!' or perhaps something like 'ho, you're approaching me? Instead of running away, you're coming right to me? Even after you watched me leave every single battle I've been in without losing a single bit of aura as well as have witnessed the power of my stan- semblance, 'The Champion!', you're coming right to me?'." I set my hands to my sides facing up as I pose like the book of quotes instructed me to.
She looks at me for a bit before placing a hand on her mouth as she stifles her laughs, failing eventually as she begins laughing with tears in her eyes at my display of glory.
"I know, I'm quite awesome that it would bring people to tears. Even if they're tears of joy." I cross my arms and begin nodding sagely, making her laugh harder once she sees me.
"W-what? Where did all of those come from? Did you think of that on the spot?" She asks as she attempts and fails to stop laughing.
"Of course not! My wisdom has come from my favorite book, '100 quotes that are totally out of this world'." I show off to her as I raise my arms to the side, showing off my amazingness.
She, for some reason, starts laughing harder, falling to the ground as she holds her sides to stop herself from laughing as she takes deep breaths.
"You have… A book of quotes?" She tries once again to stop her laughing but she fails and even starts laughing harder.
"The audacity. I'll have you know my book of quotes holds wisdom that even the gods seek and envy." I lecture her as I take out my book, showing off the cover proudly as I smirk smugly.
"YOU ACTUALLY HAVE THE BOOK?" She starts screaming as her laughs rise to new heights, outright crying tears of joy as she slams her fist against the floor multiple times.
"Of course! You think me a liar? I've memorized every single quote in this book. The ones I had said were on pages 72 and 36 respectively." I proudly show off, mentally breathing out a sigh of relief now that the awkward atmosphere is gone.
"No…!" She breathes out in the middle of her laughs. "I-I didn't mean th-" Her sentence is cut off once she sees me staring at her with the book in my hands and a deadpan on my face, which leads her to explode in laughter again at my face.
"I-I'm so sorry it's just… S-so funny!" She slowly says between different laughs as she wipes the tears from her eyes and starts getting back up.
"I do not see what's funny about my book of wisdom but I shall take your word for it." I place my book back in my bag of holding as I watch her get back up to her feet and finally stop laughing, instead she has a beautiful smile on her face.
"I'm guessing you already know but my name is Pyrrha Nikos. Nice to meet you." She walks up to me as she speaks and extends her hand for a handshake.
"Aurous Revi, and I guess you have the privilege of being acquainted with me wouldn't you?" I speak in a fake haughty tone, taking her hand as she laughs.
"Of course! I am the biggest fan of your exploits, like that one time you struck lightning on a girl, that one time you struck a guy's head with your spear, and that one time you overwhelmed a guy with your spear." She says with a fake fangirling voice.
"Wait that last one does not sound good can we cut that one out." I take my hand back and make an X with my arms.
"Depends, I guess you're just gonna have to show something that will overshadow your previous accomplishments then." She smirks at me.
"Are you suggesting for me to defeat you? I mean, I was gonna do it any way but it's no fun if you're not fighting back you know." I taunt playfully as she raises her eyebrow.
"Who said I wouldn't fight back? Not to mention how you're quite confident you'll beat me even though I'm the champion of this tournament 3 times in a row you know?" She haughtily shows off, raising her head up as if she's looking down at me.
"Oh? You simply never met me before. That's the only reason you're still champion." I cross my arms and raise my nose at her right back as she stifles a giggle to not break character.
"Very well, I guess we will just have to see who will come out on top once we fight." She states as she places her hands on her hips.
"Excuse me, participant Aurous and champion Pyrrha, please head to the arena. It's almost time." One of the staff interrupts us as they enter the room and alerts us before leaving just as fast as they entered.
"Well, I guess that's perfect timing then. Time to see if you can keep that arrogance once I defeat you." I haughtily say once again with a playful undertone as she smirks.
"It seems so. Let us see who's going to keep their arrogance." She says right back with her own playful haughty voice.
We both begin walking towards the arena next to each other, stopping our laughs and schooling our faces to not show the crowd anything wrong.
Once we step into the arena, the crowd explodes at our appearance as they begin cheering very loudly.
I'm guessing that in this situation I'm supposed to be the 'underdog', so many people are probably rooting for me to win as well as all the Faunus present as well.
The news that I'm a champion of Horus has probably already surfaced in some places, the one where I'm a demigod has probably not though.
The announcer is doing his thing right now, hyping the crowd up.
As we go to stand in the arena, the announcer apparently comes to get some last words out of us before the final battle.
"Champion Pyrrha, what are your thoughts on your final battle and how if you win this you'll have won four tournaments in a row, breaking the last streak of 3?" The announcer excitedly asks Pyrrha as she smiles politely.
"This may just be the toughest battle in my four tournaments, but I'll do my best to persevere either way." She states, shocking the announcer and much of the audience at the admittance before he gets his shit together and walks towards me.
"Contestant Aurous, how are you feeling about your battle against the champion?" The announcer asks me with fervor now that he knows that I'm a big deal or something.
"I came into this tournament to fight the best of the best. Now, I'm at the finals against the three-times champion of this tournament. I'll make sure to show you all something good in this battle as I fight the strongest of my generation." I comment with a smirk as I look Pyrrha in the eye, her own smirk present.
"You heard it here first! Whoever comes out of this battle will be the true strongest of this generation ladies and gentlemen!" The guy yells out, not exactly what I was saying but whatever he can do him.
"Are you both ready?" The judge asks as Pyrrha enters a stance and nods.
I take my spear from behind me and twirl it a bit, entering a stance of my own for the first time in this tournament. No reason to disrespect the champion of the tournament.
After seeing me nod, the judge signals for the start of the match.
"Let the battle commence!" The announcer yells out excitedly as the battle begins.
…
…
That's all for this chapter folks! I'll see you all tomorrow.
Let's begin talking about reviews, thank you all for

…
SIKE! YOU GUYS THOUGHT!
…
…
"I will be taking you seriously Pyrrha. I recommend you do so back or else you suffer. Behold, my semblance, 'The Champion'!" I say as I enter my Thunderous Form and cast Haste, strong winds and lightning arcing off of me as my moon feathers and hair gain a golden sheen to them.
Pyrrha almost seems to want to laugh, but catches herself and instead begins to observe me while holding her spear tightly and pushing her laughter down.
Ah, Shame. Would've been funny if the champion started laughing out of nowhere in the middle of the finals.
I snap out of my inner thoughts as I begin moving towards her slowly, spear in hand and wind moving intensely all around me. She tenses as I approach, taking the defensive I'm guessing as she stays put.
I suddenly speed up as I stab forward towards her, moving fifteen feet in a second.
She widens her eyes at my sudden change of pace as well as speed as she raises her shield to block the attack, blocking it easily but being knocked back a few feet because of the force and surprise.
I can see a sliver of her Aura went down from that, but she definitely won't be surprised by that anymore.
She steadies herself, this time beginning to move forward so that she isn't surprised once again by my speed and I also begin moving forward.
Once we get close enough, both of us begin unleashing a flurry of spear strikes at each other, deflecting and attacking constantly as a contest of skill was issued.
I had decided to only use my martial skills as well as some abilities I had back when I was level 9 so that I can have as much fun in this battle as I can.
It's only fair to Pyrrha if I didn't humiliate her as I did the others. Even if I didn't mean to humiliate them it's still quite humiliating to not lower your opponent's aura by even a bit.
Well, except that Rob girl. I definitely meant to humiliate her.
Pyrrha gets a good hit on me, taking a bit of aura from me, but I respond by getting a hit on her right thigh, also taking a bit of aura from her.
We keep exchanging blows for half a minute more before I feel my spear being controlled and pulled from my hand as it goes off-target and her spear hits my torso without resistance, taking a chunk of aura away.
Oh, her semblance? I think I have an idea of what it could be.
I do the same thing I did with my last opponent Dazz as I summon a wind orb super-charged with lightning and move it between us as her next attack hits it and it explodes, sending her back roughly and I simply absorb the energy as I hover back slightly.
"I think I've found out your semblance, Pyrrha." I say with a smirk as she gets up and looks at me warily.
"Have you now?" She asks me playfully, but with an undertone of caution.
"Yep!" I say as I throw my spear at her point-blank, boosting it with my air as Pyrrha widens her eyes in surprise at throwing my only weapon before leaning to the right to try and dodge it.
The spear curves away from Pyrrha just before it hits her, going to the very edge of the arena instead as well as out of bounds.
"I didn't curve that, you know." I say with a smirk as Pyrrha curses under her breath.
"Okay you've found out my semblance, you still have no weapon now you know? Your main and only weapon is gone." She points at me with a smirk.
I laugh slowly as I put a hand in my bag of holding and take out an engraved hilt of a weapon.
"You thought that this random spear I used was my main and only weapon?" I ask her slowly as I hold Raikiri in my hand, feeling its texture that I haven't felt in over half a year.
"Er, yes. Not to sound rude Aurous but that's just a hilt of a weapon, there's a big lack of weapon there." She tries to make a joke as she looks at the hilt wearily.
"Behold! Raikiri." I say dramatically as I press a button and my hilt releases a Lightning Blade colored golden, unlike the yellow it used to be.
The crowd begins to cheer as they see a new weapon they've never seen before being shown in the tournament.
Pyrrha looks wearily at my blade as I point at her for a second.
"Also gimme a second real quick I need to take something else out." I put my Raikiri in my left hand, I put my free hand into my bag of holding and act like I'm looking for something for a second, confusing everyone since the bag should not be big enough to take time to find what you need in it.
I start pulling out an entire fucking spear from my bag, everyone's eyes bulging out anime style as they watch me pull out a whole fucking spear from a waist bag.
"There we go, you ready?" I call out towards Pyrrha with a smirk, watching her snap out of her bewildered stupor.
"I don't know what I'm supposed to say, but I'll settle on yes. I'm ready!" She calls out to me back as I rush to her and she rushes as well.
We begin once again exchanging attacks, this time with me having the upper hand as I have double the weapons.
As I slice forward with my Lightning Blade, Pyrrha tries to block it with the shield, but my blade slowly sizzles the shield as a deep cut is burned into the shield, making Pyrrha step back and widen her eyes.
"I'm quite hot, I know." I comment sneakily as I don't let her take a break and dive back in, sending a spear attack straight at her torso as she intercepts it with her shield.
We go back and forth for a bit more, her shield getting many deep gashes burnt into them by my Lightning blade, as well as her getting an attack on me when I overextended with my Raikiri.
I'm not used to duel-wielding a spear and my blade.
I fly back twenty feet before quickly flying around and attempting to attack Pyrrha, my speed even greater than before when I was doing this with Dazz.
Pyrrha begins attempting to predict where I will attack her, unlike Dazz she did not instinctively know how to dodge and evade my movements thanks to her semblance, so she was getting hit a little more than he did due to her experience.
I simply was not visible to civilians, huntsmen could barely see me as I kept barraging Pyrrha with my attacks, expending Aura every couple of seconds to make it seem equal when it comes to the battle going on.
Wouldn't want people thinking I'm as strong as a veteran huntsman already.
I hit Pyrrha in the back after she turned around aiming to surprise me suddenly and I flew over her, hitting her with my spear as she was knocked several feet away.
She sits on one knee as she glances towards our aura meters, showing her just a little bit above red and I still above half comfortably.
"You know, your semblance is quite powerful. If you used it in a more obvious way I'm sure you'd be able to become a powerhouse, not unlike the top huntsmen and huntresses in the world. Using it so subtly is kind of a waste when it comes to its potential." I speak to her honestly, letting her take a deep breath.
"I'll take that advice to heart." She says in an almost defeated tone, I can see she seems to have accepted her defeat.
I'm about to do an epic gamer moment.
"Of course! The advice was given by me after all." I speak haughtily as I turn around from her, my back to her.
Pyrrha feels her body move without her own permission as her body gets up and stabs my exposed back with as much force as she can.
No, it's even stronger than what she usually can hit too.
The attack hits true and my aura is brought to red, leading the crowd to grow silent at the unexpected turn of events.
I show a shocked face despite internally laughing my ass off as I turn to the crowd.
"It seems I was overconfident. A shame, I see. It seems Pyrrha Nikos is still my superior despite all of my training. I will strive to surpass you in the future, my rival. Anyways on other news Beacon accept my app please thank you." I say the first part dramatically before saying the last part while facing the camera.
Pyrrha is just staring at me in shock, unable to understand what happened.
I pat her on the shoulder as I go next to her ear to whisper.
"Enjoy the media, 'winner'." I whisper before I fly into the air quickly and do a couple thunder waves as I flash away from the arena to make a cool exit.
The announcer quickly runs towards Pyrrha after she breaks out of her stupor in even more shock from what I said.
"Champion Pyrrha! How do you feel after your fourth victory and new rival Aurous Revi?" The announcer basically yells in Pyrrha's ear.
"I… I think I hate him." She says with a bitter face, unable to escape the media like he can.
Aurous on the other hand is now far away from the arena and vibing as he watches a screen showing Pyrrha speaking about him.
"Life is good."
…
…
HAHA! You thought Aurous was gonna win! But he had other plans!
Winning the tournament would mean dealing with the media and being socially forced to answer questions about himself that he'd rather keep.
If Aurous was to win, he'd basically be forced into the spotlight instead of Pyrrha, but with him being runner-up and declaring Pyrrha as his rival, he'd basically become the epic rival of the main star that people like to see defeated by the Champion, giving him the fame and recognition he wants as Pyrrha's rival while also not being the center of the spotlight.
