Find Me in Your Memory - Episode 33
The 32 episodes of Find me in Your Memory can be summarized as follows….. Lee Jung- Hoon is the highly successful and rated news anchor of the 10 PM News show. Anchor Lee as he is affectionately called is known for exposing the lies of his guests appearing on his news segment. As a child he was diagnosed with a condition called Hyperthymesia, which allows him to remember every detail of his life, both good and bad.
When Yeo Ha-Jin the beautiful and very successful actress becomes a guest on his show , the inter entanglements of their lives begin to unravel. Ha-jin is a carefree free spirited soul but what lies in her subconscious can become very destructive to her. Ha-jin formulated a condition called Dissociative Amnesia whereby a person cannot remember important information about their life.
For the past eight years these two people though they never met have lived with the brutal killing of Jung Seo-yeon. Seo-yeon Anchor Lee's first love fell to her death from a rooftop right in front Anchor Lee's car as he was approaching in his attempt to rescue her from Moon Seung Ho, the crazed psychotic killer obsessed with her. Seung Ho tricked Ha-jin who was Seo-yeon's best friend since childhood, into making her believe that he was her boyfriend. Ha- jin gave him the passcode to her apartment thus allowing access to her. Ha- jin became so traumatized with guilt that she attempted suicide for she no longer wanted to live with the guilt that she caused her friends death.
The interaction between Anchor Lee and Ha-jin was sparked when Anchor Lee asked
Anchor Lee: Miss Yeo are you fickle minded, as you often post contradicting comments on your social media. As a celebrity, shouldn't you take more responsibility and accountability in the kind of posts you make online knowing just how influential you are. Is there a specific reason as to why you are so indecisive and keep changing your opinions and thoughts on things. Why the in the inconsistency?
Ha-jin trying to defend herself: There is a reason for all the changes and switches, however I can't seem to recall or give a specific reason why.
Ha-jin doesn't know but when she answers to what comes into her mind it is Anchor Lee that is left speechless and frozen
Ha-Jin: I am a very simple person…. I want to live my life where it's as simple as counting up to numbers five and six
Hearing this line Anchor Lee's brains recalls Seon-yun using the exact same phrased mentality that she carried with her and shared with him while they were together. As was the custom the guests were to be left speechless however it is Anchor Lee that is unable to move or process Ha-jin's response after hearing the specific phrase exit from her mouth. Nothing the back room does can get him to escape his trance. It isn't until Ha-jin stands up and puts her hand on his arm that Anchor Lee finally moves and reacts. He firmly places his hand on top of hers and the two stare into each other's eyes as everyone watches.
This particular scene brought forth the realities of how the human mind is both the hero and the villain in the story line that is Find Me in Your Memory script.
The mental state of the series two leads allows the story to unfold with both sad and happy twists of fate throughout the 32 episodes. Anchor Lee with his Hyperthymesia was able to adjust his present with is past so that his future would not be mirrored in tragedy. Ha-jin was able to understand that her actions were circumstances out of her control and not life threatening guilt that she placed on herself. To love and be loved was the healing solution that both of their minds required for their life to achieve a future of normalcy.
With each story we have heroes and villains. The mental state of ours villains was also their minds and their Erotomanic delusions… Also known as erotic or love delusion. This is a belief that someone, usually someone famous or otherwise out of reach, is in love with you.
Moon Seung-ho's mind… the main culprit for all the tragedies …. Obsessed fascination for Jung Seon- yun was his erotomania delusion taken to the extreme. Moon Seung-ho's mind fixated onto Seon-yun and took whatever glances or smiles as confirmation that she was his soulmate and belonged to only him solidifying her tragic fate for her loved ones to forever endure. It was appropriate that Moon Seung -ho's mind received it just due in that it was left to torment it's self without a body to cause anymore harm.
Ji Hyun-Geun's Erotomanic delusion took Ha-jin's respect and friendship as a delusion that she was in love with him and that Jung -hoon was the culprit keeping her from him. Using his wealth and power to achieve his goal only got him his just reward after Moon Chul poured a bucket of feces over his head in retaliation for his slanderous on line post of Ha-jin's and Anchor Lee's relationship.
Professor Yoo Sung Hyuk's overconfidence in his perceived diagnosis and understanding of Hyperthymesia actually hindered and prolonged Lee Jung-hoon's ability to cope with his incurable disease. Professor Yoo's overconfidence resulted in his decision making whereby he overestimated his actual performance in diagnosing the disease. He overplayed his decisions over others especially his son's … Too Tae-eun and finally his over-precision in expressing unwarranted certainty in his accuracy by writing his book which violated every medical ethics in disclosing patients privacy. Professor Yoo was as much a villain as both Moon Seung-ho and Ji Hyun-geun
Though episodes 31 and 32 brought Ha-jin and Anchor lee back together again it failed to deliver the healing process that they both needed for them to fully move forward with their future. The script writers rushed through their reunion but failed to deliver their mental states during their two year separation. They never talked about how they each perceived how Seon-yun would react to their love.
In episode 33 I will place forth my take on said topics and provide a clearer path to their future as a couple and family.

Episode 32 ends with Anchor Lee identifying himself and is about to ask Ha-jin his question
Anchor Lee: Miss Yeo…. Are you concerned that this new movie " Find Me in Your Memory" is autobiographical and that the audience may not understand truth from fiction?
Ha- jin smiling with stars in her eyes seeing that Anchor Lee made it and was present with her: Anchor Lee…. As always you ask the tough questions… but unlike the last time you interviewed me….. I'm prepared to answer… what happened to me and to you is nothing to be ashamed of…. Two people met …. Fell in love and are about to start a life together is normal…. Though our pasts where mirrored in fate that were destined to bring us together…. I hope this movie will allow the audience to clearly see what is true and what is fiction
Anchor Lee smiling back ever so proud of his strong and confident Ha-jin: Miss Yeo…. One follow up question….. what are you doing for dinner?
Ha-jin: Anchor Lee…. It depends….. what do you have in mind?
The rest of the reporters turn their camera's towards Anchor Lee and begin taking pictures and asking the questions: Are you two together again?… are you getting married?…. When is the wedding?
Yang Jin- Woo looking at Ha-jin: With you two on board... this movie will be enormous hit…. Was it Anchor Lee the one who talked you into doing it?
Ha-jin: yes…he surprised me into how much research he did into you and how beneficial this movie would be to me…. We've become a team… I trust his judgement
Yang Jin-Woo: if today's introduction is any indication… the publicity for this movie is more than I could've hoped for…. Will you be ready to start shooting next month
Ha-Jin: I have some unfinished business in the States but I'll be ready as soon as I get back… If you'll excuse me I have a dinner date to go to.
Ha-jin sees where Anchor lee is waiting for her and rushes into his arms and gives him a hug and a kiss
Ha-Jin: I almost thought you weren't going to make it…. I was getting a little nervous, but there you were….. you and those questions of yours…. You almost had me for a loss for words…. Then I remembered how you told me to focus
Anchor Lee: focus you did… you couldn't have given a better answer… what do you want to eat?
Meanwhile Ha-Kyung and Il-kwon are talking about their new decision to living together.
Il-Kwon: why do you only want to live together… why can't we get married…. I love you and you love me
Ha-Kyung: Be thankful that I've agreed to live with you… I can't rush into things… I love you but I need to know that we will make it….. you've had other girlfriends and it didn't work out…. I'm not another girlfriend….. you're my first and last boyfriend and if we marry you will be my only husband… you got that
Il-Kwon: Got that…. So when can we bring your things into my place…. We are living in my place and not with your sister's…. Right
Ha- Kyung: now that Ha-jin is back with Anchor Lee I don't have to worry about her… so yes we can live at your place…. But you will have to be patient with me as to us sleeping together… I've never been with a man…. By the way how many women have you slept with…. Will you compare me to them
Il-Kwon: Why do you need to know….. you know you will get upset if I tell you
Ha-Kyung: Tell me now….. I don't want to find out afterwards….. you know how jealous I'll get

After dinner and their quiet walk together, Ha-jin accompanies Anchor Lee to the HBN studios whereby she watches and waits for him to finish his news cast.
Ha-jin: You make that look so easy….. I wish I had that chance to finish that Hwang movie….. I think I would've like playing Anchor Yeo
Anchor Lee: You would've been good at it…. You certainly know how to get into your roles… This has been a long day … do you want me to take you home
Ha-Jin: home is where you are at….. I want us to spend as much time as possible together before I go back to the states and finish those contracted photo shoots. I will miss you so.
Ever since their make shift camping in Anchor Lee's living room , Ha-jin wants to again feel the closeness they had and their love making

As the week passes Ha-Jin, Ha-Kyung and Kyung Ae set flight to the United States to finish the contracted photo shoots. Ha-Kyung has always taken care of her older sister ever since her collapse and the ensuing years towards her celebrity stardom.
