"Mako, you ready bro?" Bolin calls from across their old office. They finally were able to clean it out before the owners put it up for lease. Bolin put the last of the papers into a box and covered it. He picked it up walking out of the office door to find Mako. "Bro?" Bolin called out, still not finding his brother.

"Yeah? Over here." Mako called out down the hall. Bolin followed the sound of his voice which carried him to the common area. He walked in and saw Mako sitting on the arm of one of the chairs. Bolin sat down the box he was carrying and stood next to Mako, who was looking at a picture. It was a picture of him, Mako and Korra. Mako was smiling while still staring at the picture. "You remember this day, Bo?"

"I mean, how could I forget we got so drunk later that night." Bolin said, letting out a small laugh. Mako rolled his eyes.

"Other than that, Bo." Mako said looking up at him.

"Of course I know, It was the day of our grand opening."

"Shit, we were so young! Now we're gonna be on the cover of a magazine." Mako exclaimed, hitting his knee.

"Hell yeah, who would have known all three of us would grow this much. So, much has changed man. Korra's got kids and may get Asami back, we got our thing going on I think?" Bolin says awkwardly.

"Bo, you can barely talk to a girl without getting red in the face and you're like 28. And I like to keep my love life private because we all know somebody has a loud mouth."
"Yeah, Korra's mouth is pretty big." Bolin said sheepishly, rubbing his neck.

"Yeah, Korra, definitely not you." Mako responds sarcastically getting up. He placed the picture in the box Bolin brought and picked up his bag. He took one final look around the empty office and turned to Bolin. "You ready?"

"Yeah, I am. "Bolin says with a somewhat sad smile. "You wanna drive or do I have to?" Bolin said, giving Mako puppy eyes.

"Whatever bro, I'll drive." Mako said, picking up his coat walking past him.

"Lit!" Bolin said cracking a smile and running after his brother.

Korra woke up bright and early in her new apartment. She groaned as she rolled over to turn her alarm on her phone off. She thought the morning's were evil but today she couldn't help the fact she had to get up early. Today there new HQ was opening up for interviews and movers to bring in the decor. She felt excited about this, not just the opening and the magazine but the fact that she was finally able to spend time with Asami and their kids. Even though it has been a couple weeks since she's last seen them she couldn't help but fight the feeling of happiness. She had to interview a hell of a lot of people today for different positions but at least she had the boy's with her. Who conveniently lived down the hall from her, but one somehow opted to sleep on her pull out in her living room. She got out of her bed and put on some shorts that were sitting by her bed. She pulled them up and slid on her slides and walked to her door with a pillow. She opened the door seeing one of the boys sleeping. She threw the pillow at his head making him jump up.

"Hm?! What!" Bolin said looking from side to side. "Am I late?" Then he looked at Korra, rolled his eyes and laid back down with his forearm covering his eyes. "Man, Korra what was that for?" He groaned.

"That was waking me up at 12 so you could sleep here instead of your own apartment that's literally three doors down." She said leaning against her bedroom door frame. Bolin sat up hugging a pillow, resting his head on it.

"Well! It was just new and I don't like change. We all used to live together so being by myself felt different. And I don't see why we couldn't live together again like old timesss, you have like two extra rooms in here!" He said raising his hand and whining.

" One, you're like 28, Bolin, and second, those rooms are for my boys, or did you forget that again?" Korra said with a smirk.

"Okay, okay touché, you got me there." He said, raising his hands up in defense.

"Yeah, touché." Korra said. "You better hurry and get dressed. We have to be there in 30 or do you need me to pick out your clothes too?" Korra said laughing while walking to her kitchen.

"Ahh shut up." Bolin said, sticking his middle finger up.

"Just telling the truth." She responded as he got up.

"Spirits put on a shirt Korra." He said as he headed to the kitchen bar to sit down.

"In my house? I think not." She said pointing to her sports bra. She slid him a bowl of cereal and sat down next to him and began eating her own bowl. "So you're ready for these interviews today?" She asked in between bites.

"Yeah I'm ready, just not ready for 'Mr. Why so serious?' Mako." Bolin said laughing. Korra agreed and tried to do his serious brooding pose which gained laughter from Bolin.

"He do be like that!" Bolin said, holding his stomach. Korra started laughing with him. After they had their fair share of bowls they emptied them into the sink.

"Alright Bo, I'll leave the door unlocked come back by when you're dressed." She said as she headed back to her room. He yelled 'okay' before he left out.

Korra headed to her bathroom and turned on some music as she began to wash her face. Once done she started to brush her teeth and bob her head to the next song that played on her playlist. She rinsed and gurgled some mouthwash and headed to her closet. She opted for a dark navy blue long sleeve collared shirt and some black slacks with a nice pair of black loafers. Once dressed she collected her wallet, keys and phone, but she couldn't leave without spraying on her favorite cologne. She exited her room and Bolin was sitting at her counter dressed in a nice black suit with a white shirt under his jacket.

"Looking good, Bo." As she walked to the fridge getting two bottles of water out of it.

"Shit me? Look at you, very snazzy." He said, winking.

"Snazzy?" She said, eyeing him, smiling as she picked up her satchel.

"Yeah." He said, picking up his bag and laughing. "Seen it on a tv show."

"Leave it on the show bud." She said, patting his back. "Let's go."

Korra and Bolin walked through the new office building in amazement. A couple of weeks ago it was just bare with gray walls now it's coming together with the new paint and décor being added. For the business not to be open to the public yet it sure was lively. They walked past the movers and work crew towards the elevator that took them to the third floor. The third floor consisted of their three personal offices, the main work floor where their employees would work and an offset common area or chill space. The second floor consisted of the Café where them and the employees could enjoy their lunch.

The elevator dinged as they arrived on the third floor. It was just as busy as it was down stairs, movers and interior designers crowding the space as they tried to set up every piece of furniture in the right place. As the squeezed past they spotted Mako in one of the offices, which seems to already be claimed by him. Korra walked up to him smiling "Already claimed your spot, Mako?"

"Very fitting isn't it?" He said as he moved his tie back and forth. He sported a nice burgundy suit with black shoes matching his tie. Korra looked around the spacious office and spotted how beautiful his view was.

"Now I see why you picked it." She said walking to his window. "Look at this damn view." She said turned towards the brothers pointing behind her.

Mako smirked, "I guess you two shoulda got up earlier, like me." He said sitting down spinning in his chair.

"I gUesS yOu ShOulDa gOt uP eArlY, oh shut up." Bolin said, mocking his older brother. Mako rolled his eyes and focused his attention on Korra.

"Well the office next to me on the right overlooks the water and the Island so I thought that one would be better for you. And for you Bo, the other one has the best view for you.?"

"Oh yeah and what's that?" Bo asked, arms crossed.

"Narroks." Mako said, raising his brows. Bolin became undeniably happy.

"You had me at Narooks." Bolin said as he ran to his office.

"A child," Korra said, shaking her head. She leaned on his desk with her arms crossed. "What time are the interviews supposed to start?" She asked Mako.

"Well they should be starting around 9:30. The movers should be done by 9 which will give us time to get some coffee and to set up our stuff in the offices." Mako responded by taking his laptop out and placing it on his desk.

"I wonder how many people applied?" Korra asked.

"Well 430 applied." Mako responded

"430?!" Korra yelled "We only have 100 positions."

"Well our company is popular and is about to be the face of a magazine. People wanna be a part of that." Mako said, pulling out a folder and handing it to her.

"Today is gonna be a long day." Korra said pouting.

"Very long, because that folder is the list of candidates you'll be interviewing today." Mako said

"Oh fuck no way, its over 50 people in here," She said flipping between the resumes.

"102 to be exact. I took the bulk of the applicants because you and Bo seem to only have two brain cells working at a time before they go up in smoke." He said rubbing his hands through her curly hair chuckling.

"Yeah, fuck you." She said hitting his arm. He blew it off and went to pick up another folder.

"I'm gonna go give this on to Bo, hopefully he doesn't pass out before lunch." Mako says walking out. Korra gets up and heads to her office. Once she's in she is impressed with her view and thinks it's better than Mako's. She goes to her desk and spins the chair with her hand. Even though she knew today was going to be long and couldn't describe the happiness she felt. Her life finally felt somewhat complete. She had her girl and family almost back and was now moving forward with her and the brothers company. What could go wrong? She sat down at her desk and began taking her laptop and other work things out and putting them on the desk. "Maybe Asami wouldn't mind going out tonight for some drinks? Maybe coffee?" She said to herself. She pulled out her phone to text her and see if she wanted to meet later on. To her surprise Asami had already texted her, causing a wide grin to spread across Korra's face.

Asami: Goodmorning, love, I just dropped the boys off. Off to work now :("

Something about Asami calling Korra 'love' made her stomach tingle. She smiled and bit her lip as she texted back

Korra: Mornin beautiful, I just got to work, today's hiring day."

Korra pressed send and got up to stare out at her view. She knew Asami was probably driving at this point and wouldn't respond as fast. A few minutes went by and her phone pinged. She sort of hopped over to her desk. "Whew, calm down Kor, you're a little too excited." She said chastising herself. She picked up her phone to read the text.

Asami: Oh yeah today is the pre-opening. Maybe we can go out for lunch and talk about it? I just got to work!

Korra thought it over but she knew Mako probably wouldn't let them leave for lunch. But at least she could have the chance to ask Asami to go out later.

Korra: "I wish I could but we have so many applicants I probably can't get away. But what if we went for drinks after work? Maybe coffee?"

Asami: Ahh man, okay! But I definitely will take you up for coffee later. Wanna go around 6?

Korra: "Sure! See you then.

Asami: See you then! *Heart emoji*

"Heart emoji?" Korra questioned. Her smile only grew more.

Korra: See you then! *Heart Emoji*

Korra was a little too happy and made a mistake and put two hearts. She panicked for a second then thought to herself. "I literally have two kids by this girl, and I'm scared over two hearts. Get it together." She shook her head and opened her laptop.

By 12 o'clock Korra was barely hanging on by a thread. "Maybe, Mako was right about the whole 'two brain cells working two a time'." She huffed. She felt like she could literally feel the smoke signal her brain was sending out. She wasn't even close to finishing her folder worth of applicants. If she was feeling like this, she just knew that Bolin was already down for the count. "Poor Bolin" She said to herself as she rested her forearm on the desk while her palm cupped her forehead. These applicants seemed like a revolving door. Every time she looked up Mako was bringing in another one. "When will it end?" She said groaning. "Maybe if I sneak away Mako would have no choice but to take my next one." She slowly moved from her desk trying to peek between the blinds that covered her office door. "It seems like the coast is clear, this may be my chance." She opened the door and did one more look around before stepping past the threshold. "Lit." She said. But all was too late.

"Ahh, Kor there you are!" Mako called out making his way over to her. Korra turned around slightly and bit her lip in frustration.

She turned back around forcing her signature grin. "Ahh Mako, just… the man I wanted to see." She said, trying to fake a happy tone. She placed one hand in her pocket and swaggered her way up to him.

"This is Ginger, she is your next interview." Mako said introducing the two. Korra smiled and stuck out her hand to shake hers

"Nice to meet you, Ms. Ginger. What's your last name?

"It's Wilson, and nice to meet you too." Ginger said some what seductive. This made Korra raise an eye and glance at Mako. She shook her hand and pointed towards her office.

"This way," She said as she guided Ginger to her office. As Korra walked in after her she pointed to where Ginger could sit and she shut the door. She walked behind her desk and sat down. "Give me one second and let me find your resume." She said as she quickly tried to scan through all the others to find the right one.

"No worries...take your time." Ginger said.

"There's that same tone." Korra said to herself. She looked up and gave a sheepish smile. When she looked up she was somewhat caught by surprise at how beautiful the woman was. Fresh reddish-orange hair was nicely curled and full. "Hmm" Korra said looking back down. "Its just we've got a lot more interviews today."

"Understandable." Ginger said flashing a pearly white smile cut between fresh red painted lips.

Korra shook her head to herself "You've got to be kidding me." She finally peeled back enough resumes to find the one in her sights. "Ahh, here you are Ms. Wilson."

"Ginger's just fine." She said smiling.

Korra, wanted to cut whatever this was short, looked up and said, "Just for formalities and professionalism I'd like to stick with Ms. Wilson." Ginger nodded in agreement.

Korra looked down at her resume briefly scanning it before looking up to ask her a few questions. Korra looked up impressed by her resume. "Your resume is quite impressive. Why is it you want to be the office assistant and receptionist?" Korra asked.

"Well…" She trailed off as she tucked a strand behind her ear. "I really like a challenge. Being able to make sure the owners and everyone else are on top of everything and grinding to their best potential really makes me feel good." Ginger finished out while placing her hand on her crossed legs. Korra's eyes without her own consent followed Ginger's movements. She could feel her neck heating up.

"Yeah there is no mistaking it, she's trying to flirt. Relax Korra." Asami jumped in her mind and she rolled her shoulders and relaxed. She couldn't let this drag out anymore and took control of the situation. Korra threw her signature smirk on and kindly turned the tides of the conversation.

"Well this is a fast paced environment and being able to keep up with more that half of the employees and bosses schedules seems to be too much to handle. What would make you the best candidate for the job?"

Ginger readjusted her position and smiled politely. "Well I've been known to handle big things. And as for skills, I am highly qualified in all of Microsoft Office, Google Analytics and Quickbooks. These are just the stepping stones of what I am able to do." She finished.

Korra shook her head, "Mhm I see that you are highly proficient in these areas." She said as she looked back down at Ginger's 'Skills lists" section of her resume.

Ginger gave a sweet smile, "Well I'm highly proficient in other areas as well."

Korra let out a chuckle and stared at Ginger with her cobalt eyes. "Well I'm pretty sure I have all those other areas covered by another person." Korra stood up and straightened out her suit. She stuck her hand out across her desk for Ginger to shake. "Well this would conclude our interview and you are a well qualified candidate for that position. I hope to have someone call you back soon with the final decision."

Korra walked over to her office door and opened it. Ginger got up and smoothed out her olive green pencil skirt. She walked past Korra who was leaning against the door frame and smiled and stopped.

"Well I do hope I am chosen by you as a new employee." Ginger said, smiling.

Korra touched her index finger and thumb to her chin, "Ahh well, I won't be doing the choosing, Mako will. But it was good to see you and I hope you have a great day." Korra shook her hand one more time and Ginger held it for a moment too long before releasing. She waved her goodbye and swayed past Mako and Bolin who were sitting on the arm of a chair talking. Korra rolled her eyes at the woman. Bolin's head took a swivel and eyed her leaving body all the way to the elevator. Mako shook his head at Bolin and walked up to Korra.

"Well, how was it?" Mako said

"The flirting or the interview?" Korra said.

"Ahh so I wasn't the only one who picked up on that?"

"Nah, I picked up on it and had to drop it."

"Well, how was the interview?"

"She's very qualified for the position and I wouldn't be shocked if she were to get it." Korra said as Bolin was walking up.

"Whew, was she fine as hell? Who was that?" Bolin said.

"Ahh my friend, she seems to have taken a liking to Korra." Mako said cupping Bolin shoulders.

"Ah man." Bolin said, dejected.

"Nah bro go for it. I already have my hands full with Asami." Korra reassured him.

"Lit! So, how was the flirting?" Bolin asked as Korra walked back to her office.

"A certified 10." She called out. She could hear Bolin yell 'yes' from outside her office. She smiled to herself and prepared for the next interview.

"Finally!" Korra called out as she leaned her head back into her chair. She had just wrapped up her last interview and it was just in time before her and Asami's date. She picked up her phone and read the time. "5:30. Just enough time before I meet Asami." Speaking of Asami she realized that she had texted her about ten minutes ago.

Asami: Hey, I just go home with the kids. I should be there on time. I got Jinora and Kai to babysit. See you soon.

Korra: Gotcha, I just wrapped up the last interview. I'm gonna just head to the coffee shop. If I go home I'd be late. How are the boys?"

Asami: "Geez it was that long of a day? They are good. We can talk more about them when we meet up. I know it's been a couple of weeks since you saw them."

Korra: You can't even imagine how long it was. But see you in a few.

Korra sat her phone down and began to pack up her things. She looked up and saw Mako and Bolin heading towards her office.

"Headin out?" Mako asks.

"Yep, yep. Asami and I are going out for coffee." She said, still packing her bag.

"Oh, cool well I guess, we'll see you later?" Bolin asked

"Yeah." She said as she slid past them. She turned around and stopped holding her satchel strap. "Oh and Bo if I come home and you're in my house, I will kill you." With that threat she left and headed toward the coffee shop.

LOK

Asami pulled to the coffee and checked her phone. She was five minutes early, which gave her time to pull down her car mirror and look herself over. She ran her finger through her tresses and hopped out. She was greeted by a worker as she entered and began looking for her love. She spotted her looking out the window leaned back in her chair. Damn, Korra looks so good in her suit." Asami couldn't help but smirk and stare at her. She walked up to Korra.

"This seat taken?" She said smiling sweetly. Korra turned her head to look up at Asami and grinned.

"For you never."
