A Goat's Tale: A End of a Tale

By: M14Mouse

Summary: Goat and Theo look over their new home.

Disclaimer: Don't own them.

Theo looked over at the house…or more like it…his home. Lily used the word quaint which he swore she learned from Fran. Casey said that he could fit his house into RJ's loft. He snorted. Casey was just jealous. He knew for a fact that his room at the school was stone with one little window. But he liked his new home. It was one of the old teachers that taught at the school. It wasn't too far from the school and it wasn't too far from the city. It had two rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom.

It wasn't in bad shape but it did need work. It took him many weekends and days off to get into shape. It took a few more weekends to build Goat's new home. Once he was done, he rather liked the results.

"What do you think?" He said to Goat.

"Blah…" Goat said as he wagged his tail.

He smiled slightly.

"Well…go and check it out."

Goat bolted off like an excited child on a new playground or one of those beagle dogs…always sniffing and checking out everything. It was cute in a goat kind of way.

He smiled slightly as he watched Goat then he moved across his yard. He still got a fuzzy feeling when he thought about it.

He touched the door handle and slowly opened the door. He grinned as he looked over the bare-threaded kitchen. It had the basics….a few dishes in the cabinets, chairs, table, a refrigerator, and an oven.

Of course, that is going to change since Fran and Lily have decided to throw him a house warming party.

Dear spirits, his poor house…it was once so clean.

He moved to the other two rooms. One had his bed and a dresser that Lily insisted she help pick out. The bed was comfortable. She made a good choice on that. The dresser looked kind of…different and very blue.

The other one…he wasn't quite sure what to do with. He was thinking maybe an office or a guest room or maybe both. He could get one of those pull out sofas.

Then he heard scratching at the door.

Maybe he needed a goat door first. He returned to the front door and opened it to see what Goat was doing.

Expect that…it wasn't Goat at the door. It was a different goat. He frowned at the brown and black goat.

"Who are you?" He said.

"Blah…" The goat said.

"GOAT!" He shouted.

Goat came running to him with his tag just wagging. It was like he did a good thing.

"You want to explain this?" He said as he looked between the two goats.

"BLAH!"

"Don't blah me. I told you that you couldn't invite anyone until we are settled. We aren't settled."

"Blah…Bah.."

"I am not going to be lonely, Goat. You aren't either," He said with a sigh.

Goat gave him a look.

"Don't give me that look, Goat. He is just visiting, right?" He said as he eyed the other goat.

Goat just wagged his tail.

"Goat…."

That is when another goat popped up behind the pair. Oh, by the spirits….

"GOAT!"

He almost wanted to cry or scream…but instead, he started to laugh. He should be upset about this. He really didn't need any more goats but he trusted Goat. It took him a while but he loved the little creature that wormed into his heart. Goat was being a goat. Goat would have never brought them here without a reason.

What was that saying that Fran said from time? It was the one about lemons and lemonade. In his case, he got more goats.

He wouldn't have it any other way.

End

A/N: So…this ends a Goat's Tale. It was a fun little fic to write. Goat was so much fun to write and the research for this fic was hilarious. Everything that Goat did was based on other goats' behavior. Goat climbing a tree…yup…goats do that and cars…and roofs…Goats steal random items based on another goat bringing his owner his gloves every morning. I want to thank everyone for their support and their reviews. You guys rock. ^_^ One more time for the road…read and review if you wish.
