(A/N) Hello!

Here's the first story that I came up with! And yes, this may have been suggested by my friend Alex! I really hope you enjoy this! (From Kaira's POV)

The twins were about six months old at this point. And I was enjoying being a first-time mom. The twins were good babies, and Eliot and I had a system down. I was also enjoying being a business owner. I liked serving drinks to the customers, talking to the patrons. It was nice. And I liked being a thief too. Though, I was still on a bit of a break. It was an odd peace I was getting used to. Hardison and Parker left to go to a Comic-Con, I think, so it was just me and Eliot at the brewpub.

It was late at night, and well, Eliot and I were in our undergarments making out in our bed. It had been a long week, so we needed to let off some steam. I was on top, obviously, and I was kissing Eliot. It was very much needed, I'll give you that. After I kissed Eliot, both our breathing became heavy, so I moved to the side and laid down beside him. I cuddled up beside him, laying my head on his shoulder.

"I could get used to this, Cowboy." I chuckled as Eliot turned to me.

"Me too, Princess." Eliot shot me a smile.

I leaned in to kiss him again, and just as we were about to go round 2, both our phones went off. I got up and sat at the edge of the bed, looking at my phone. Eliot did the same. There was a message that the alarm was triggered for the main restaurant of the brewpub.

"What the hell?" I whispered.

Eliot and I got up. The closest thing to me was one of Eliot's henleys, so I just threw it on, and Eliot threw on the plaid pants.

We carefully made our way downstairs. Eliot and I were on both sides of the doors to the restaurant and peaked in.

Here I thought we were gonna see just a couple of teens being stupid and trying to rob the drawer, which is wasn't in the register, as at the end of the night, we put all the money in our ultra-secure safe. We're thieves, of course, we know how to protect our money. But that is not what we saw. Eliot and I walked up and looked at the man that was sitting at my bar.

"Long time no see, pals." A familiar Alabama accent came out.

"Quinn." I said.

He was sitting at my bar, a glass of whiskey in on the counter, and dressed in a gray suit.

"Did I interrupt something?" Quinn asked, realizing I was only wearing Eliot's Henley, and Eliot was just in bottoms.

"Yeah, you are. What the hell are you doing here, Quinn?" Eliot asked Quinn.

"Well, I was in the middle of renegotiations, when we had a disagreement." Quinn explained.

He shifted his weight on the barstool, obviously in pain.

"Naturally." I quipped.

That's when I saw that Quinn was bleeding from a nasty cut on his stomach.

"That why you're bleeding on the freshly cleaned floors?" Eliot quipped.

"Yeah." Quinn said.

He tried standing up, but Eliot and I ran over to keep him steady.

"Okay, up to the tub, come on." I all but ordered Quinn as Eliot and I helped him through the bar to get to our bathroom.

"You live here?" Quinn asked as he saw our main office.

"Yeah, just upstairs." Eliot told him.

"Don't you freaking bleed on the floors, Quinn, or your ass is toast." I threatened Quinn.

This was not what I wanted to be doing.

Then we got Quinn into the bathroom.

"In the tub." I ordered Quinn.

"Why do I got to do in the tub?" Quinn asked, sitting on the edge of the tub.

Just then, the baby monitor came on, and I heard Nathaniel getting fussy. I groaned a tad at Quinn.

"Because it's easier to clean blood off of tile and porcelain than wood. Now, get in the tub so you don't get blood on the floor." I ordered Quinn.

Eliot and I looked at one another, silently deciding who was gonna do what.

"I got Nathaniel, you deal with him." Eliot told me.

"Alright." I agreed and gave Eliot a quick kiss before he left.

I helped ease Quinn in the tub, leaning him against the tub. Once I got Quinn comfortable, I grabbed my kit from the medicine cabinet.

"All right, take your shirt off." I told Quinn, getting gloves on. Quinn gave me a look.

"I don't think your man would like that, Kaira." Quinn was full of jokes.

"Oh, I see someone wants to be a smartass today." I quipped.

I got down to the edge of the tub.

"Just take your shirt off, Quinn, so I can clean the wound and clean your shirt." I told him, getting irritated.

Quinn did, unbuttoning the shirt. I tossed it to the side to deal with in a minute. I got the hydrogen peroxide and poured some on the wound, causing Quinn to wince.

"Sorry." I apologized.

"It's okay." Quinn assured me.

Then he started chuckling as I wiped the blood from around the cut.

"So the Eliot Spencer and the Kaira Newton had a baby." Quinn looked at me.

I chuckled a tad.

"Actually, I had twins. A son and a daughter." I told Quinn.

The wound was bleeding a bit still, so I kept the gauze on for pressure.

"Well I'll be go to hell." Quinn chuckled, groaning a tad from the pressure on the wound.

"Keep pressure on that for me while I get the stitches. It's not deep, but it's enough to need stitches." I told Quinn.

He did what I asked and I grabbed the sutures from my kit, which I had placed the box on the toilet. I also grabbed some light numbing cream out.

"That's not necessary." Quinn told me.

"All right, then, suit yourself." I put the cream back and got the sutures ready.

"All right, you can let go." I told Quinn.

He removed his hands and I started stitching him up.

"Guess congratulations are in order." Quinn smiled a tad, though he was hurting from the stitches.

"Thanks, Quinn." I told him, mostly to distract him.

"How old are they?" Quinn asked me.

"Six months." I told Quinn, smiling a tad.

He just chuckled. I finished off the last stitch and put everything back. I helped Quinn up. Eliot then came back in.

"I got Nathaniel asleep again." Eliot told me.

"Thanks, babe. This one's all ready." I told Eliot, pointing at Quinn.

Eliot didn't even blink that Quinn wasn't wearing a shirt.

"Good. He can crash on the couch. Let's go." Eliot got grumpy again as he helped me get Quinn to our couch.

We exited the bathroom.

"I guess congratulations are in order, dad." Quinn joked with Eliot.

"Thanks." Eliot grumbled, causing me to chuckle.

We got him on the couch, finally.

"Thanks, pals." Quinn told us as I helped him lay back.

"Not a problem." I told Quinn.

"Now, what was this job you were doing?" Eliot asked, standing beside me with his arm around me.

"Well, retrieval. The employer tried renegotiating after I had procured the item. And we all know that you don't negotiate after the item is procured. So, I told him that and I would hold onto the piece until he held up the original deal. We sent guys after me, and I took them all out, and got the deal." Quinn told us.

I then had a thought.

"Quinn, before you came to my bar, did you make sure no one was following you?" I asked Quinn.

"Course I did, I'm not an amateur." Quinn scoffed at us.

Just then both Eliot's and my phones went off. We looked at them, and saw our alarms once again went off, and there were three goons in suits coming in.

"Got three suits coming in, main bar, guns hot." Eliot told us.

"Fucking hell, Quinn!" I cursed.

"Sorry." Quinn apologized. Eliot looked at me.

"You ready?" Eliot asked me.

I nodded yes. I looked at Quinn.

"Stay put. We'll talk in about five minutes." I warned Quinn.

Eliot and I walked over to the door and shut the light off. Eliot and did have good night vision. Once Eliot and I snuck out way to the bar, the goons being disoriented from the lack of light. Then the goons had night vision goggles on. Who the hell were you doing business with, Quinn?

I then realized Eliot and I couldn't use the dark anymore. So, with Eliot providing a distraction by using the pots and pans in the kitchen, I snuck over to the lightswitch. I counted down from five, to make sure Eliot had time to get back to the bar, and then turned the lights on, knowing the lights would disorient the goons. With the goons cursing from the light blinding their eyes, I ran over and kicked a goon in the knee, then disarmed him, and knocked him out.

I saw Eliot smash a glass over the face of another goon, then kick him while sliding over the bar. Then Eliot and I both tackled the third goon, I gained control of the gun while Eliot tried choking him out. I got the gun out, and Eliot lost control a bit, but I kicked the goon in the stomach.

Eliot gained control and he laid the goon on the floor. And then we each kicked the goons in the face, assuring ourselves they wouldn't be a problem anytime soon. Eliot and I chuckled a tad and came together.

"You good, mama?" Eliot asked me.

"I feel pretty good. Damn, that was a rush." I chuckled.

Eliot and I kissed to celebrate. But then the cops came rolling up.

"Well, not bad response time." I commented.

I then noticed Eliot wasn't there, and I quickly realized where he went. I ran back inside the bar and found Eliot yelling at Quinn.

"—Stupid! Why didn't you notice that they were following you, Quinn? My kids are upstairs!" Eliot was about to throttle Eliot.

"Babe, we got a bigger problem. You can whoop his ass later. Let's deal with the cops, show them the security footage of the goons coming in, the cops take them out, no one's the wiser." I told Eliot, though giving Quinn the side-eye.

"Fine. But this is nowhere near over, Quinn." Eliot warned Quinn.

I pulled Eliot away. We met the cops outside. We told the story that they were thieves trying to rob the vault, and showed them the security footage of the goons coming in, cutting it off before the goons drew guns. The cops took the goons away and took the footage for evidence.

Now it was time to get some answers from Quinn. We went back in once the cops had cleared. Quinn was still laying on the couch.

"Quinn!" I quietly exclaimed cause I didn't want to scream.

"What the hell?" I asked him.

"I didn't know!" Quinn exclaimed.

"How could you not?" Eliot asked, pissed.

"Cause I thought I had taken the last of them out." Quinn explained.

"You didn't think to check?" I questioned Quinn.

"I did! They must have been off duty." Quinn explained.

I dropped it for now.

"Well, it should be done. Cops rounded up the goons. No doubt, that'll lead them back to where the others are." I told Quinn.

"Still gotta clean up the bar though." Eliot told me.

"Quinn, get some rest. We'll clean it up before the openers come in." I told the boys.

"Thanks, you two." Quinn thanked us.

"No problem. Just get some rest." I told Quinn.

Eliot and I went out. The bar wasn't too dirty, surprisingly. Eliot got the glass cleaned up, and I mopped up.

Then we went to bed. It was early in the morning. We still had a couple hours before the openers showed up. Eliot and I had eaten breakfast, and even got some out for Quinn. Eliot had Nathaniel and was feeding him from a bottle. I had Sophia, feeding her from a bottle too.

We were sitting at the briefing table. We saw Quinn come in, kinda chuckling at the sight.

"Morning." I told Quinn.

"Hey." He looked at us.

"What? Don't give us that look, man." Eliot gave Quinn a look.

I chuckled.

"Sorry. Those the twins?" Quinn asked us.

"Yeah. Nathaniel and Sophia." I introduced them.

Quinn just kinda chuckled.

"Very cute. But, I got a flight to catch." Quinn told us, grabbing his coat.

"Well, your shirts still getting soaked in hydrogen peroxide to get the blood out." I told Quinn.

"Stay for breakfast. Kai and I already ate, but there's still some left." Eliot told Quinn.

"All right." Quinn gave in.

We ate and then said goodbye to Quinn. Eliot and I were holding the twins as we got the restaurant ready to open up. And after a bit, we put the twins down for a nap. The rest of the day went normally.

Then later that night, Hardison and Parker both returned. Eliot and I were just watching the feed of the restaurant, holding the twins. We heard Parker and Hardison walking in.

"I'm about tired of y'all leaving me out of stuff." Hardison bitched as soon as he walked in.

"I'm sure it's fine, Hardison." Parker assured Hardison.

"You back already?" I asked Hardison.

"Yeah. You wanna tell me why I got two notifications that my alarm system had been triggered? Twice!" Hardison got on our case.

"We're fine, thank you." Eliot grumbled.

"It was nothing." I assured Hardison.

"Y'all know I see the cameras from my phone, right?" Hardison reminded us.

Eliot and I looked at each other.

"Fine. Quinn stopped by." I told Hardison.

Hardison looked at us, clearly not buying it.

"And?" He questioned us.

Eliot grumbled again.

"And we fought three goons." Eliot admitted.

"Really?" Parker questioned us.

"Yeah." I said.

Hardison just nodded his head.

"Good job." Hardison complimented.

Hardison and Parker then went beside us on the couch. We just sat there for the night as Hardison told us about the con. Overall, it was a good night.
