18. Chapter 18: Resentment

Chapter 18: Resentment

(With Naruto)

It was 2:30 P.M and Naruto was just waking up from his slumber.

'Rise and shine myself' he said before stretching.

He got back to the leaf village yesterday and immediately went to sleep, as he figured that it was probably best of him to do so after taking a severe beating from a giant summoning.

However, the wounds he got from that battle still hadn't healed, so...

"Gah, my... everything hurts" he mumbled as he could still feel the internal and external pain coursing through his body and fell back as a result.

With the pain still coursing through his body, he rolled out of the bed and fell face-first on to the floor..

"Ow" he let out as he used his hands to push himself up and then used the rest of his strength to get him to be able stand on his own two feet. "There we go."

After standing back on both his feet, he started making his way to the door of his room, with a very noticeable limp in his steps.

Once he got there, he turned the knob and opened the door.

As soon as the door opened though, Naruto's legs gave out and he fell, flat on his face again.

'Maybe I should've waited longer' he thought before picking himself back up and getting on his knees.

After doing this, he reached out his hands and managed to hold onto a piece of railing from the stairs. He still wasn't strong enough to make full use of it though, so he slowly but surely started pulling himself back up, and once he was back on his feet, he just decided to stand there for a bit, as he didn't feel like falling down the stairs and getting hurt even further.

'I'll just wait till it gets better' he thought with a sigh, just waiting for his wounds to heal, at least a little bit.

However, as he was waiting, he heard an exchange of words between two of the girls he loves.

"Do you know what's wrong with Kurenai-Sensei?" Hinata asked.

"Huh?" He whispered.

"No, I thought you would, as she speaks with you the most out of any of us, since you're like a daughter to her" Sakura replied.

'What are they talking about, and what happened to Kurenai-Hime?' Naruto thought worriedly before deciding to listen more into what the two were saying. 'I'm sorry my Himes, but I need to know what you're both talking about.'

So listening in closely to what both girls were saying, Naruto waited for the two to talk again, and sure enough, in just a few seconds, they did.

"What do you think is wrong with her?" Hinata asked her friend/lover.

"I don't know, but judging by the fact that this happened while Naruto-Kun was still on his mission, and by the fact that she just can't stop crying, it can't be good" Sakura responded.

'She can't stop crying' Naruto thought, with a mixture of sadness and worry.

"Where is she now" Hinata asked.

"I don't know, I saw her leave the household an hour ago, but nothing else from there" Sakura said before the two were suddenly pushed to the ground due to a large gust of wind that rushed down their stairs and out the front door.

"Oh no" Hinata started.

"He heard" Sakura finished.

(With Tsunade)

Tsunade was just going through some of her daily towers of paperwork

'Dammit, it feels like so much more than before' she thought angrily when outta nowhere she heard

"Hey, what's up Tsunade?"

Upon hearing this she turned her head to see her long time friend and former teammate, Jiraiya, just standing on top of one of the window frames in her office.

"Jiraiya-San, how many times must I tel you to refer to me as Hokage-Sama?" She asked her former teammate.

"Yeah... that's never gonna happen, and you know that" he told her.

She just sighed and replied with

"Nonetheless, what brings you here?"

"I just wanted to know how much closer Naruto is to completing his last mission before we best take off" he explained.

"Yeah, he just has two more remaining" she responded.

"Well that's great Tsunade-San" he said with a smile.

"Now is that the only reason you came, or is there another?"

"Of course there's another, and it's that I have some info on the Akatuski and also something else, a little strange, but important nonetheless" Jiraiya responded.

Tsunade then turned her attention to her former teammate, as what he had to say had something to do with the Akatuski, an evil organization, which meant it was of the upmost importance.

She of course, heard the other part, but for obvious reasons she was more interested on the info of the Akatuski.

"Go on" she told him."

"Well it turns out that they're actually currently getting into a scrap with each other, as Itachi's betrayal made everyone want to fight each other in order to prove which is the Akatuski's new number two."

That was good to hear, as it meant that they were currently too busy fighting each other to cause mayhem to the Leaf or any other neighboring villages.

It also however, let her know that she has their number two in the village, currently serving under her, and if she had their number two, then the village's chances of being attacked by the Akatuski are far lower than before, and even if they did, unless they brought their strongest, Itachi could deal with them himself.

"I see" she began with her fingers interlocked. "Well what was the other thing that you wanted to talk to me about?"

Jiraiya simply exhaled a breath of bored air and explained.

"The other thing that I wanted to tell you about is that there's something strange going on with that Anbu of yours that used Wood Release."

"The cat?"

"Yeah."

"What's wrong with him?"

"He doesn't know what's going on, but his Wood Release is seemingly being slowed down, and by that I mean that he isn't able to release it like he originally would and not just that, but it also is hurting him just trying it."

Tsunade stopped to think and then said

"Maybe there's something wrong with his Chakra Network, do you think I need to check this out myself."

"Probably, because he's been having complications with it for a week now" Jiraiya said further. "And obviously, I don't have any knowledge in the Medical Ninjutsu department, but you have the best."

"Where is he currently?" She asked.

"Outside the village" he told her. "He wanted to be somewhere he could train his Wood Release around actual trees without causing any damage inside village."

"Alright, I'll get to him as soon as I finish up this last bit of paperwork "she responded.

"Leave it to me" Jiriaya said before making a very well known hand sign. "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!"

Then twenty other Jiraiyas appeared and started tending to the mountains of paperwork on the desk.

"They'll handle it, let's go" he said.

Tsunade looked back at the shadow clones, facepalmed, and thought to herself

'Why didn't I think of that?' Before following her aged old friend.

(With Naruto)

Naruto was still rushing through every corner of the village, trying his hardest find the woman in his mind, and hear what was wrong with her.

'Dammit, where is she?' He thought as he turned his head frantically, looking every direction in order to find her.

The boy was panicking, he didn't know what to expect of the woman he was looking for, but all he knew was that he needed to find her, and fast.

'I've gotta find her and see what's wrong with her' Naruto thought in haste, desperate to find one of the women he loves.

So with all this in mind, he rushed to even further parts of the village as fast he could, while also making sure to cause as little damage to the surrounding area as possible.

It wasn't long before he saw a familiar shade of wavy black hair through in the center of a pitch black alley.

'Huh' he thought as he got a closer look and saw that indeed, it was his ruby eyed beauty, Kurenai Yuuhi.

However, she was a mess.

She was sitting in the middle of the alley with her legs tucked and her face buried between both her knees, which she was hugging for dear life while crying uncontrollably.

Naruto couldn't stand to see this another second more and lightly shouted

"Kure-Hime!" Before rushing over to her side.

Kurenai lifted her face from between her knees and turned to the sound of the voice, to see the boy who she had come to love standing right beside her.

"N-Naruto-Kun?" She stammered.

Naruto simply got on his knees, wrapped his arms around the older woman's body, and then asked her

"What's wrong?"

"N-Naruto-Kun" she gasped out. "N-Nothing is wro."

"Kure-Hime" he interrupted her with a rather calm voice, not sounding emotional, so as to ease her. "I want to help you if I can, but I can't help you if you don't let me, so please, I'm begging you, tell me, what's wrong?"

Kurenai couldn't describe it, but hearing Naruto's words, and also being enveloped in said blonde's strong arms, made her feel incredibly warm and safe, so much so that she stopped crying and opened up to him.

"Okay Naruto-Kun, I'll tell you" she said to him. "But please, keep holding onto me."

Naruto simply nodded and so Kurenai began to tell him everything.

(With The Sannin)

Tsunade and Jiraiya were currently making their way to the Anbu.

"Are we getting closer?" Tsunade asked.

"Yeah, we're getting close" her longtime friend told her.

Shortly after saying this, they arrived at the scene, right on top of a tree with a clear view of the Wood Style User.

Upon seeing the Anbu who still had his mask on, Tsunade thought

'Alright, there he is' and was about to drop down and help him, but before she could, Jiraiya held his arm out, and whispered

"Hold on, I think it'd be best for you to see yourself first."

Tsunade understood where the old man was coming from and decided to do just that.

The Anbu then made some of his own hand signs, slammed his hands on the ground, and called out

"Mokuton: Daijurin no Jutsu!" Attempting to summon three large wooden poles from his arms, but instead what came out were two very small and thin twigs. "Damn!"

Upon seeing the Anbu fail so miserably at his famous Jutsu, Tsunade turned to Jiraiya with a look of pity in her eyes, and he just looked back with an equally as pitiful look in his face.

As they were exchanging looks though, the Anbu sensed their presence and asked them

"So are you two just gonna observe, or actually help me out?"

The two then snapped out of their pitiful states, remembered why they were there, apologized, and then dropped down in front of him, then began talking with him and discussing his problems.

(With Itachi)

Itachi was currently in his compound, just doing paperwork in his household, as all clan heads must.

He didn't have a whole bunch due to the fact that currently, the Uchiha Clan only had three members that being himself, his younger brother Sasuke, and Izumi, his girlfriend.

So he was done with his paperwork quickly, and after he was done, he just sat back in his chair and thought

'What could Pain be thinking of doing next?'

As he was beginning to think of this though, the door to his office opened.

"Itachi-Kun" Izumi greeted, while opening the door to his office, breaking him out of his thoughts in the process.

"Yeah?" He asked the woman.

"Do you know where Sasuke is?" She asked.

"Oh, yeah he told me that he wanted to take a walk through the village" he told her.

"Why?"

"He said that he needed some fresh air"

"Really?"

"Yeah, but I know it's got something to do with that female Aburame that he's got a crush on" Itachi pointed out with a light chuckle at the end.

"Of course" she thought funnily with a bright smile. "Well with that outta the way, are you gonna come down to have lunch with me?"

"Maybe in a bit, I'm just really busy right now" he replied.

Upon hearing this, Izumi took a look at Itachi's desk and saw that his desk was clear of any paperwork and grew confused.

Itachi saw this and so he explained to her

"It's not about paperwork, it's about something much worse."

This intrigued Izumi, so much so, that she asked the man

"What exactly?"

Itachi thought of what to say next but couldn't think of anything but telling her everything.

If he said that he didn't wanna tell her because it's what's best for her, it would just make her wanna know even more.

The same thing could be said with if he told her that the reason why is because it's something that could make her a target, or it being a secret of the village, and more.

However, an idea struck him after a couple seconds.

Izumi was very curious, but if he remembers correctly, she never really liked listening to long stories.

So he decided to ask her

"Are you sure you wanna hear, it's kind of a long story?" Hoping that she would get uninterested and deny the story.

However, she shocked him by saying

"I have time, explain."

So with his head down in defeat, he explained everything to her.

(Back With The Sannin)

Tsunade was finishing up the last bits of the treatment that she was giving to the Anbu, and as she was, Jiraiya was speaking with him.

"So it was because of Orochimaru that you're like this huh?" He asked.

"Yeah, I was one of the many lab monkeys he used for experiments, but thanks to help from Kakashi Hatake and words of encouragement from a dear friend of mine, a girl by the name of Yukimi, I was able to break free from his prison" the Anbu was explaining.

"And now you're a trusted ally of the Leaf" Jiraiya interrupted.

The Anbu just smirked behind his mask and then replied with

"Something like that."

Tsunade, who was listening in on what the two were saying while also performing Medical Ninjutsu on the Anbu, decided to speak up too.

"Could you answer a question for me?" She asked.

"Of course, Hokage-Sama" he responded.

"How did Sarutobi-Sensei find out about you? By that I mean how did he find out that you were an experiment of Orochimaru and send Kakashi to go get you, cuz Orochimaru's bases are extremely hard to find and track down, even with summonings?" She asked.

"He didn't, Kakashi did" the Anbu started. "The Third Hokage never knew about me till Kakashi brought me to him and explained everything that Orochimaru did to me and numerous other to him."

"How did Kakashi find you" Jiraiya interrupted, asking the next question that Tsunade was gonna ask, for her.

"By accident" the Anbu replied. "He was in the middle of one of his missions when outta nowhere, he saw something in one of the areas he was in, that looked sketchy and followed it. It led him to the lab where they would perform their many experiments on me and numerous others. After he found it though, he was then looking through each and every one of the capsules till he eventually found the capsule I was in, and as soon as he found me, he broke me out and helped me escape."

"Is that all?" Tsunade asked.

"No, you see, after he saved me, he told me to explain everything that happened to me, as he needed to make sure the info reached the Third Hokage. So I explained everything to him. I told him about the multiple experiments Orochimaru did on me and numerous other people, even infants, from trying to remodel my body to be able to use Wood Style, to trying to make me some sort of slave of his by making me emotionless, and I also told him about the many others who died due to the same experiments I was put through."

This answered a lot of questions for them. Questions as to how he was even able to use Wood Style, how he was even able to break free from his prison, and what kinds of experiments Orochimaru did on him.

"I am very lucky that my body was able to handle the experiments that they put time through, because if it didn't, I wouldn't be standing here in front of you all."

"Now I have a question" Jiriaya said.

"Hai, Lord Jiraiya."

"So the Wood Style experiment Orochimaru put you through worked right?" He asked.

"Hai" he answered.

"What about the experiment to make you emotionless though, did that work too?" Jiriaya asked.

Tsunade was about to drop her due to the sheer idiocy that was in that question of that friend of hers. She couldn't facepalm, as her hands were still being used to perform Medical Ninjutsu on the Anbu, so instead of doing that, she was just gonna drop her head in embarrassment. However, right as she was about to, she halted, after hearing the Anbu say

"Hai."

'What?' Tsunade thought in confusion. 'Then how did he?'

"Now that brings me to my next and final question" Jiriaya started, breaking Tsunade out of her train of thought. "How did you manage to get your emotions back?"

Tsunade was knocked for six, her long time friend just broke her out of her train of thoughts and asked the question she was about to think of. However, she shook off the shock and listened intently to what the Anbu would say next.

"It was all thanks to the girl I mentioned before, a young girl by the name of Yukimi. She too, was an experiment of Orochimaru, and she gave me the emotions I lost due to that man, back, and also gave me the name that I still address myself by."

"And that is" Tsunade asked.

"Tenzo."

(With Naruto)

Kurenai just got done telling everything about what happened and why she was crying so much to the boy she loves.

Said boy was furious, he was gnashing his teeth, clenching his fists, and with a deep voice told Kurenai

"He shouldn't have said that to you, but don't worry Kure-Hime, I'll make him pay" before giving her a kiss on the forehead and the. Turning around to go look for that man.

Before he could though, Kurenai grabbed him by the wrist and begged him

"Please, Naruto-Kun, don't go, I won't be able to live with myself if anything bad happens to you!"

"And I won't be able to live with myself if I left someone who made any of you cry, without at least a black eye."

Kurenai then hugged the boy from behind and again, begged him

"Please, Naruto-Kun, don't go!"

"Have some faith in me, I may be injured but I'll crush that bastard!" He told her with confidence.

"Naruto-Kun, I know you would, believe me, but even if you weren't in the condition you're currently in, I still wouldn't want you to do it, because like I said, I just can't stand the thought of you getting hurt for my sake, especially when you're already this badly injured."

"I know you can't stand it, but that's exactly why I have to do it Kure-Hime" he told her before separating her hands from his body and running as fast as he can to go find the bastard that dare hurt one of his women so badly.

(With Sasuke)

Sasuke was just minding his own business, making his way to the place where he and the girl who he was starting to like, decided to meet up.

Upon reaching the place though, he saw Sawashu being approached by a group of Genin.

"Come on, just give me a chance" one of the boys said.

"Or me."

"Or me."

"No me" were the many replies of the other boys.

Sawashu simply rolled her eyes and told them all

"For the last time, I'm not interested in boys like you all."

"What's so bad about me?" They all asked at the same time.

"Well for starters you're all just so pathetic and I know that it's because of your egos. You think that just because your families are rich or that you're really athletic that you instantly have a chance with me, well wake up, because I don't give a shit about either. Plus, I prefer men stronger than me, not pitiful little runts like all four of you" she retorted.

This angered all four boys, it angered them so much in fact, that they all charged the girl at the same time.

Sasuke saw this, thought

'Time to save the day' with a cocky smile and shut eyes.

As soon as he opened them though, he saw that all four boys were down and out like a light, each clutching their body in pain, and when he turned to look at Sawashu, she was just dusting herself off, letting all the dirt that got on her and her clothes brush away.

"I better not have gotten any of their pathetic blood on my clothes" she angrily whispered to herself as she finished dusting herself off.

This was when Sasuke walked up and said

"Well I guess today's your unlucky day, because some of it got on your collar."

"Seriously?" She asked frustratedly.

"Yep, right here" he said while pointing at the side of his own collar.

Sawashu indeed fixed the problem by pressing her thumb on that side of her collar, and brushing it against the stain.

As soon as she pressed her thumb on it, she felt the blood, let out a sigh, and then brushed it off.

After doing that, she asked the Uchiha

"What do you want?"

"Nothing, I was just walking around the village, saw you in trouble, and was thinking you needed some help" he replied.

"Aw, what's wrong, you mad because you weren't the hero here?" Sawashu mockingly taunted.

"Shut up" he replied in a mix of embarrassment and anger.

"Well I mean it's not my fault I'm stronger than you and don't fangirl after you like I know other girls have" she told him.

"Who told you about that?" He asked.

"That blonde friend of yours" she responded, her voice cracking mid way.

"Naruto?" He said questioningly.

"Y-yeah, Naruto" Sawashu stammered before smiling at the mere mention of the blonde.

"Why are you smiling?" Sasuke asked.

Sawashu simply blushed deeply upon hearing this and replied with

"B-Baka, I'm not smiling!"

"Yeah, you are" he added before noticing the very feint blush that started to spread behind her coat's collar. "And you're also blushing."

"S-shut up!" She yelled out before angrily turning her head from the boy.

"And now you're telling me to shut up?" Sasuke teased. "That's your deal?"

"Why do you wanna know?"

"Just because."

As soon as Sasuke said that, Sawashu smirked behind her collar and then mockingly asked the Uchiha

"Aww, are you embarrassed because you know he's stronger than you?"

"Shut up" Sasuke angrily replied while visibly snarling at the girl.

"Uh oh, looks like I touched a nerve" she said

Upon hearing this, Sawashu explained that

"Honestly I would've loved to be in your class when you were in the academy, because if I was, I probably would've been fangirlIng over Naruto if I was in your class."

Hearing this stung a bit, so he asked the girl

"You have a little crush on Naruto don't you?"

"Hell yeah" she confessed with pride.

This hurt Sasuke deeply. To hear that the girl he currently was falling head over heals for, was actually into his best friend. He hid it well though and decided to just forget about it and listen more to what the young girl was telling him.

"But I know about the CRA, and I'm the kinda girl that doesn't like sharing, at all, I don't even share my candy with anyone else. So I of course won't share Naruto" she explained.

"So in summary, it's either you or nobody else?" Sasuke questioned.

"Exactly" Sawashu replied.

'Good, I do have a chance' Sasuke thought in relief with a smile before asking the girl a different question. "So, wanna maybe train together?"

"And what did you have in mind?" She asked.

"We could spar" Sasuke suggested.

"Sure, as long as you don't mind getting your ass kicked by a girl" Sawashu mocked.

"It's on" Sasuke said with determination.

As soon as the two said this, they ran off to go find a nearby training field or stadium to spar at.

(Back With The Sannin)

Tsunade, Jiriaya, and the Anbu were all gathered and Tsunade just finishing up the last bits of her treatment of said Anbu.

"Alright, and there we go? you should be good now."

"Thanks Hokage-Sama" the Anbu said before stretching to loosen his muscles.

As he was doing this, Tsunade had a thought and told the Anbu

"Try out your Wood Style Jutsu, just to see if the Medical Ninjutsu actually worked the way I wanted it to."

"Hai, Hokage-Sama" the Anbu replied with a bow before stepping back, making his hand signs, and then calling out his Jutsu. "Mokuton: Daijurin no Jutsu!"

After making the hand signs and calling the Jutsu, dove large logs of wood came bursting out from the Anbu's arms, till eventually crashing onto some nearby trees.

"Now that's what you call destruction" Jiraiya commented in amazement.

"Agreed" Tsunade replied before turning to look at the Anbu. "Tenzo, was it?"

"Yeah" the Anbu responded.

"What were you doing when your Jutsu suddenly stopped working?" Tsunade asked.

"I was just doing a mission" Tenzo started.

(Flashback, One Week Ago)

A chase was happening, one man was running from five Anbu, one of which was Tenzo himself.

As the man was running, he turned around, made some hand signs, then called out

"Futon: Daitoppa!" And blasted away two of the Anbu, and once those two went down, two others dropped down to help him, whilst the fifth and final one continued chasing the man.

The single Anbu chasing after the man was, indeed, Tenzo.

Tenzo continued chasing the man through the woods till eventually, the other Anbu were out of sight.

That didn't matter though, as Tenzo was catching up with the man, and as he was, he turned his head to where his lips were just inches away from his Konoha microphone and told his fellow Anbu members

"I've got him on my sights" before making his hand signs, calling out "Mokuton: Daijurin no Jutsu!"

After making the call, five logs came out of the Anbu's arm and began rushing the man.

The man quickly pulled out three Shuriken and threw them at the Anbu, the Anbu stayed absolutely still so as to not cause any complications with the process of the cage being made. However, when he expected to feel numerous spikes all over his body, he saw that they all just went past him. He didn't feel anything at all and so he just continued on with the Jutsu, till eventually, he tapped the man inside a huge wooden cage.

"Damn!" The man yelled out as he was now trapped with no way out.

"Yu-" Tenzo started before coughing up blood and falling to the ground on his knees. "What the hell?!"

As soon as Tenzo yelled this, the other four Anbu that fell back appeared right beside him and started tending to him.

"Cat, you alright?" One of them asked.

"Y-yeah" he stammered before coughing and hacking loudly.

"No you're not" one of the others said. "Okay, you three take the prisoner, I'll carry Cat back to the village."

"Hai" the other Anbu replied before doing as they were ordered.

(Present)

"And that's it, I still don't know what could've happened to make

(As Tsunade was thinking about what could've happened to make the man have such a horrible Chakra Blockage, she saw something that answered her question.

She reached her hand out, grabbed what was on the ear of the Anbu's mask, said

"It must've been this" and showed the two men what was in her hand.

The second Jiraiya and Tenzo saw what was in her hand, they had just one question

"How did you/I not notice it at all?" Jiraiya and Tenzo asked at the same time.

What was in Tsunade's hand was a some small piece of metal, approximately two centimeters in length and width, with a small white light in the middle, flicking on and off, over and over again.

Upon seeing this device, the next thing Tsunade did was crush it with her hand, and after she did, they started wondering just what the hell that was.

A couple seconds after they started thinking of what it could be, Tsunade said

"This has gotta be from Orochimaru."

Both men perked their heads up at this and Jiriaya spoke up.

"What makes you so confident in that?" He asked.

"I have no idea what that was or what it did, but judging by what it did to Tenzo over here, it must drain or block your chakra network. The thing however, that makes me think it's from Orochimaru, is that I have no info on it ever being seen in any of the other major villages, and we know first hand that Orochimaru has many devices on him that we don't know of that are extremely deadly, so it wouldn't shock me if this was indeed his" she explained.

"Well it does make sense" both men replied.

"But how? If that's true, then it means that the man who tried to kill me was one of Orochiamru's henchmen. Which would also mean that the device was in one of those Shuriken of his, but, I can assure you that absolutely none of that man's Shuriken hit me" the Anbu questioned.

The Two Sannin started to think of this but almost immediately, Jiraiya got an idea of what this could mean and spoke up.

"Then again, you didn't even have to move to avoid getting hit by those Shuriken of his. As you put it, you were staying absolutely still so that there wouldn't be any complications with making the cage, and yet still not a single one of the Shuriken hit you, that had to be a trap."

After a little more conversing, the trio decided to just go with what they had for now, as they really didn't have anything else to go off of. As soon as they decided to do that though, Tsunade started to stretch her back a bit and as she was, she felt something crumbling in her pants pocket.

She didn't remember putting anything in that pocket of hers, so of course she fished it out and ended up seeing that it was a note with Naruto's nineteenth mission on it.

'Shit, I got so wrapped up with Jiraiya that I completely forgot about this note' she thought before remembering that she had other problems to tend to in the village and hospital, being both the Hokage and also the best medic in the village.

"I need you to go give a message to Naruto Uzumaki, a young blonde boy with three whisker marks across his face."

"Hai, Hokage-Sama" he replied with a bow. "What is it?"

"It's in here actually" she said before handing him the scroll. "I need you to deliver this to him, it's really important."

"Hai" Tenzo said before jumping off and rushing to go find the boy.

(With Naruto)

Naruto was roaming through the streets of Konoha, searching for the next man on his Hit List.

'Where is that little shit?' He angrily thought as he continued running all throughout the village, trying to find the man who made one of his women cry.

As he was searching though, he came across Shikamaru and Choji.

So logically, he ran to them, and asked them

"Have you guys seen your Sensei around anywhere?"

Shikamaru and Choji immediately understood why Naruto wanted to know, and while the man he was clearly looking for a fight with was their Sensei, they didn't particularly like said Sensei, and Naruto was their friend, so they told him everything.

"Yeah" Choji began. "You'll find him on top of the Hokage Mountain."

Then Shikamaru chimed in and said

"If you're interested in knowing why, it's because once every week, he goes up there every day to angrily shout at his dad's stone head for not stopping Orochimaru during the Sound Invasion, not because he misses him though, but simply because he lost."

'So the bastard not only hurt one of my Himes, but he's also dishonoring my Jiji' Naruto angrily thought while clenching his fists. "Thanks."

Naruto then ran off to the destined location.

(With Asuma)

Asuma was just holding the railing of the mountain, yelling at both the sky and the stone heads.

"You really think you did something good, didn't you dad? Well guess what, you didn't! If I was there, I would've killed Orochimaru myself, not taken his arms!" He yelled.

This man then continued yelling out many disrespectful words, names, and phrases to the heads and sky, until of course, a foot came out of nowhere and hit him right across the jaw.

The kick brought him down to the ground and instantly made him clutch his jaw with both his hands in severe pain.

"Oww, what the hell!?" He yelled in pain.

"That was for my beautiful Red-Eyed Hime" said the voice before coming in closer and then punching Asuma across the other side of his jaw. "And that was for my Jiji."

Asuma had his eyes shut in pain the entire time and couldn't see who was punching him, but he did hear it. So as he was getting back up from both the kick and punch, he muttered

"So it's you, isn't it Naruto, or should I say, the victim of the pedoph" before Naruto front kicked him back a long way.

"Don't you dare ever call my Hime that again!" Naruto yelled in anger.

"Why don't you let me get up on me feet and prove to me that you can fight like a man?" Asuma mocked. "She described you as a man, but in my eyes and based on what you have been doing just now, you're still just a little kid."

Naruto knew what the scumbag was doing, he was getting in his head, trying to make him do what he wanted to give him the advantage, and while Naruto did want to do the opposite of what the man was telling him, he felt that doing so would be disrespectful to his Hime.

Yup, he was falling for it, so he halted his attacks, told Asuma to

"Get up then" in a very deep and masculine voice.

Asuma smirked, slowly got back up to his feet, and once he did, both looked each other the eyes on more time before charging each other.

As they were charging each other, they threw their first punch, but were halted by an Anbu who caught both their punches all by himself.

"What?" Both said in disbelief that a mere Anbu caught their punches.

Said Anbu then flipped both of them and as soon as their back hit the floor, he made his hand signs, called

"Mokuton: Daijurin no Jutsu!" And trapped both Ninja inside a huge wooden cell.

"What the hell!?" Asuma yelled at the Anbu. "What did you do!?"

"I trapped you both inside a cell, now shut up because I have a message for him" the Anbu explained before walking up to Naruto, bringing out a scroll from his vest and explaining further. "You have a message from Hokage-Sama, Naruto-San."

Naruto reached his hand out between the bars of the cell and was handed the scroll by the Anbu.

'What is it this time?' He thought before opening the scroll and seeing what was inside.

Upon seeing what was inside, he widened his eyes at the remembrance of all the mission that his late Sensei left for him, and so he quickly asked the Anbu

"I understand, can you let me go now?"

The Anbu nodded, pressed his hand on Naruto's cell, and completely made it disappear.

As soon as Naruto cage was gone, he first walked up to Asuma's cage, told him

"When I get back, get ready for the worst beating you'll ever take in your life."

Asuma simply smirked and then told Naruto to

"Fight me in The Chunin Exams Stadium the day after you come back, I'll send word to everyone, including Kurenai and every other pedophilic girl you call yours."

Naruto had to keep himself from breaking that cage and fighting the man now, but decided that that could wait but the mission was something he had to do now. So he calmed down and listened to what else Asuma had to say.

"I want them all all see me beating you senseless kid, show Kurenai that I'm the better man and that she was an idiot for every leaving me, because now the one she loves is gonna have to pay."

Naruto then grabbed onto the bars of the cell and told Asuma

"I agree, we should fight in the Chunin Exams Stadium, but the reason why is so that as soon as I'm done and everyone has witnessed me beating your face in, I can send everyone in the village a message that they'll remember to their graves."

"Deal" Asuma replied.

After the scumbag agreed to this, Naruto ran out the Leaf Village, in order to get to his mission.

Once Naruto was gone from view, Asuma turned to the Anbu and asked him

"So are you gonna let me go too?"

The Anbu just sighed, pressed his hand on the cage and started releasing the Jutsu.

'Based on what I heard him say, he isn't a good person, which is why I'm taking my time' he inwardly explained to himself as he withdrew the wooden logs. 'This is gonna take a while.'

(With The Akatuski)

Every member of the Akatuski minus Pain, Tobi, and Konan were currently brawling each other in order to claim their rightful place as the organization's number two.

Speaking of which, Pain and Konan were just watching the brawl that was happening right in front of their eyes.

"You know, with the men fighting like this, it could cause problems" Konan stated.

"I know" Pain replied. "But this is something they decided for themselves and I refuse to get involved in it because it's just not worth it."

"What do we do about it then?" She asked.

"We wait and see what happens" Pain answered.

As the two were discussing the current status of their team, the third person who wasn't involved in the fight, was just looking through everyone.

He was studying how they fought, all their abilities, all their movements, and each of their many fight patterns/rhythms.

As he was studying them, he smirked behind his mask and thought

"Lord Madara will be greatly pleased' before walking off silently to another part of the lair.

(The Next Day, With Tsunade)

The Hokage of the Leaf Village was in the middle of some paperwork when outta nowhere, her door opened up and in came her most trusted assistant.

"Shizune-San, how may I help you?" She asked.

Shizune, who came in while holding Tonton, the pig, as she always does, just calmly asked the Hokage

"Lady Tsunade, can I ask you a question?" Shizune started.

"Of course, Shizune-San" Tsunade replied.

"Why did you and Lord Jiriaya work so hard to help out that Anbu? I get that he's a member of the Leaf Anbu, but you were both acting as though we didn't have Itachi to conceal the Fox that rests inside of Naruto too."

Tsunade just looked at Shizune and explained to her that

"Yes, even if we didn't help him, then Itachi could've concealed the Fox with his Sharingan, should it ever threaten to escape the boy, but it's always better to have a plan B, just in case."

"Um, Lady Tsunade, since you don't mind my asking, what was the mission that you, or should I say, the cat, gave Naruto-Kun?" Shizune asked.

Tsunade was expecting this question, and so she just simply replied that

"It was to assassinate an B Rank Bingo Book Ninja who was spotted in Wave Country named Haruka Jin."

Shizune widened her eyes and then stammered

"H-Haruka-Jin?"

Tsunade easily saw the worry plastered all over Shizune's face, so she responded with a simple

"Yes, Haruka Jin, why?"

"Lady Tsunade, don't you know what Haruka Jin has done to earn himself the title of B Rank Rogue Ninja?" She asked.

"Yeah, he killed two big name ninjas, so what?"

"Lady Tsunade, the two big name ninjas that Haruka Jin killed" Shizune suddenly paused before finding the strength to speak further. "Were both the first and second Kazekage!"

Tsunade widened her eyes upon hearing this, and then started to tell Shizune

"N-no, you've gotta be wrong, Itachi is the one who orchestrated the missions I'd give Naruto, there's no way he'd" before Shizune interrupted her with

"Yeah, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't counting on you sending him on such a dangerous mission right after taking such a terrible beating from a previous one!"

Tsunade then stood up, told Shizune

"Oh no I need to go find him now."

As soon as the lady reached the door though, she heard the familiar sound of her old teammate's voice telling her

"It's already too late Tsunade-Chan."

"Jiraiya-San" she replied while turning to look at her former teammate.

"What do you mean by that Lord Jiraiya, we need to go find him this instant?!" Shizune yelled.

"Look, Itachi told Tsunade to give Naruto that mission because he knew that Naruto could beat that guy" Jiraiya started to explain.

"Not injured though" Tsunade chimed.

Shizune then dropped her head and told her Hokage

"Either way, even if we went out to go find him, we'd probably be too late."

"Exactly" Jiraiya commented. "You have to have trust in the boy, he knows how to take care of himself, plus, you're both forgetting something."

This intrigued both Tsunade and Shizune.

"What is it?" They asked.

"Haruka is a B Rank, not A or S, and there's a reason for that" he started.

"Which is?" The duo of women asked further.

"Yes, he indeed is the one who killed both the first and second Kazekage, but he didn't do it by being that powerful, he did it by playing it smart."

This intrigued both women and they were curious to learn more, so they continued listening intently.

"We'll to start it off, they were very old when he fought them. They were way past their prime and to add on top of that, he poisoned them both by throwing a jar filled to the brim with venom in it and then after he poisoned them both, he fought each separately and killed them" Jiraiya explained. "Don't get me wrong, he is still very dangerous and strong, but not strong enough to take on a Kage who's at one hundred percent."

"Gotcha" both women responded with a very relieved sigh.

"I wouldn't get too relived though, Naruto still has to avoid every last jar of poison that Haruka throws at him" Jiraiya reminded them.

"He's strong, I know he can do it" Tsunade replied, while looking up at the stone heads, specifically the one of The Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze. 'He is just like you, Minato-Kun.'

(With Naruto)

Naruto was just rushing as fast he could to Wave Country, as he still hadn't arrived due to the fact that he was still very beat up from his fight with that summoning on his last mission.

'A day has passed and I'm still not at Wave Country?' Naruto angrily yelled inwardly as he continued sprinting to his destination.

As Naruto was sprinting to his destination at top speed, he ended up tripping on his own foot and falling down on the ground, face-first again.

"Ow" he muttered as his face was buried into the ground.

The boy quickly picked himself back up, stood on both his legs, and decided to take a little break, as he knew he needed to spend some time healing.

So he plopped down on his back and as soon as he did that, something fell out of his pockets.

"Hmm, what's that?" He asked himself before turning his head, reaching his hand, and grabbing the object.

It was a bottle, a very small and very light bottle with the label Hyuga Ointment on it.

"Oh that's right, I forgot about this" Naruto said as he looked at the bottle in his hands. 'Thanks Hinata-Chan.'

(Flashback, Yesterday)

"Naruto-Kun, here" Hinata said before offering Naruto a bottle of her clan's healing ointment.

Naruto, who was on his bed, just trying to rest, looked through his good eye and saw the bottle of ointment that Hinata offered him.

"Hinata-Chan" he started saying before coughing loudly. "I don't."

Hinata interrupted him mid-sentence though.

"Naruto-Kun, I love you, I love you more than anything else in the world, which is why I can't stand seeing you this badly hurt!" She yelled, angry that the love of her life wouldn't just let her help.

Naruto never saw this side of Hinata before, and seeing it for the first time was a big eye opener.

He wasn't alone anymore, he didn't have to just tough it all out like before, because he had his women, the numerous women in his life that love him, and that would help hime when we he needed them.

So with a look of understanding on his face, Naruto nodded at Hinata and told her

"Okay, Hinata-Chan, go ahead."

Hinata knew Naruto wasn't in a good enough condition to do the applying himself, so she applied it for him.

She started with his bad eye and watched as it healed almost instantly, then she brought it to his neck and watched as the wounds and scratches disappeared.

She continued on and on with this till she felt what she thought was the last bits of the ointment on her hands, and applied it to Naruto's jaw.

After applying it, she closed the bottle, handed it to Naruto, and told him

"Well, that was the only bottle I had, but hold onto it Naruto-Kun, at least till I make some more tomorrow" she told him.

"Alright, and again, thanks for this, Hinata-Chan" Naruto replied.

"You're welcome Naruto-Kun" Hinata responded with a smile before giving Naruto a quick kiss on the lips and then leaving the room.

Once the Hyuga left the room, Naruto put the bottle inside of one of his pockets, and then decided to rest some more.

(Present)

Naruto was now just looking at the inside of the bottle of ointment and saw that it wasn't empty... well, not completely empty.

'There's still a little left' he thought before deciding to use up the rest to help heal his legs.

The little bit of ointment that was left, was probably just enough to cover the top of his pointer and middle finger, but he decided to work with what he had and pressed it against the most sore parts of both his legs, his shins, before putting it back in his pocket and standing up.

"Alright, now let's see what I can do" he said before standing up again, deciding to shake off a bit of the initial shock from the ointment and also the tight muscles all over his body, and then running, surprisingly, way faster than he anticipated.

"Whoah, that really helped" Naruto said surprisingly, shocked at how fast he was going.

He didn't think that just by healing a couple of the wounds on his legs that he would be running this fast, but was pleasantly surprised that it did.

'Alrighty, if I keep it at this pace, I should arrive there in about two hours or so' Naruto thought as he continued making his way to his destination.

(With Kakashi)

Kakashi was currently with Jiraiya, just chilling out in the hot springs of a neighboring village of The Leaf. They were both completely nude, they had zero clothes covering their body, and that includes Kakashi's face-mask. They both just decided to take this time in order to just chill for now as they really didn't have anything to do or anyone to train.

As they were doing this though, Kakashi became curious to certain subjects and so he turned to The Old Toad Sage and spoke up.

"Jiraiya-Sama?" Kakashi asked.

"Yes Kakashi?" Jiraiya replied.

"Do you have any idea whether or not Naruto will learn to harness the entire power of The Nine Tails?" He questioned.

Jiraiya didn't even need another second to answer this and immediately replied to him by saying

"Of course."

Kakashi was expecting this and so he asked the next question he had, which was

"How long do you suspect it'll take him to do so?"

Jiraiya stopped to ponder this for a while but after thinking about it for long enough, he replied that

"Since he already can summing 2-3 tails at will, I'm comfortable in saying that he might just master it in three years or so."

Now this shocked Kakashi, so much so, that all he could say in return is

"Really?"

"Yeah" Jiraiya responded.

After hearing this, Kakashi just looked at the water of the hot spring he was currently in, then at the sky, thought

'Just how much can I expect from that boy?' And then turned to see the Sannin again.

"The kid has potential, lots of it, and well, I know for certain that he'll make great use of it" the old man told the much younger man.

"I can tell" the much younger man said in reply.

"You know, I've seen some of the best ninja to ever roam the earth."

'I know for certain that he isn't lying, he's one of the three Sannin who have been roaming this earth for decades, In extremely confident that he knows what he's talking about" Kakashi thought. 'That being said, I do wonder how many people he can list?'

As Kakashi began pondering this on his mind, Jiraiya went on to talk about how many more Ninjas he knew of and still does know of.

"I'm telling you there are plenty of great fighters from back then and that really changed this world. There are even some fighters now that I know have what it takes to change the world."

"Really, like who?" Kakashi inquired.

"Depends, what fighters do you wanna know of first, the ones back then or the ones now?" Jiraiya asked.

"First the ones from back then and how they changed the world."

"Alright" Jiraiya started before thinking of as many of them as possible.

Once Jiraiya recalled all the ones he has met with or heard about, he spoke.

"Of course, to star with, there's me, Orochimaru, and Tsunade. We all changed the world the same way, by becoming the Sannin and sending a message to every neighboring village about attacking ours. We also however, showed the importance of teamwork and working in sync."

Kakashi wasn't surprised to hear this but was still curious to hear of more, since he already knew this. So he asked the Toad Sage

"Can you explain more?"

"Of course" Jiraiya responded. "There's also Sarutobi-Sensei, who changed the world by becoming the successor of the Second Hokage by becoming Hokage himself. Then there's your Sensei, Minato Namikaze, who changed the world by leading the Leaf to victory in The Second Great Shinobi War, earned the nickname The Yellow Flash of The Leaf, but also inspired numerous other Ninja, even the ones from the villages he beat."

That shocked Kakashi, he knew of his Sensei's greatness, but he didn't know that his Sensei was so great that his actions inspired the kids of the people he fought against. So he asked Jiraiya the question on his mind.

"Why?"

To which Jiraiya just chuckled and explained that

"It's because he wasn't from a prestigious Clan or any at all. He was just a regular who with hard training became one of the most powerful Ninjas to ever live."

'That's true, I never thought of it that way' Kakashi thought before listening to what Jiraiya had to say even further.

It essentially went on like this for the next hour.

The two then just continued to enjoy the hot water of the it spring and talked more amongst one another before eventually deciding that it was time to leave, right as they were done getting dressed though, Jiraiya gained a very perverse smirk, and then asked Kakashi

"I don't know about you, but I'm" but was interrupted by Kakashi who said

"Down to peek?" In a predictive manner.

Kakashi then smirked perversely under his mask too, and then said

"You bet."

And like that, the two then made their way over to the female side of the Hot Springs before peeking inside through the blinds and seeing what was lying there behind them.

"Hey, Kakashi?" Jiraiya whispered.

"Yeah, Jiraiya-Sama?" Kakashi asked in an equally quiet whisper.

"Look at the blonde, she's gotta be at least a D, and that tattoo above her belly button, that's nice" he told him.

"Yeah, she's nice and all, but how about that brunette with the long wavy hair, the E Cups, the tan skin, and the birth mark on her left hip" Kakashi replied.

Jiraiya saw that woman, widened his eyes in shock, said

"Yeah you're right, man she's got the goods."

"How many are there?"

"Fifteen."

"Which one is your favorite?"

"Shut, I'm gonna have to look over each of them one last time to determine that."

"Same."

After Kakashi said this, the two men then did this exact thing, and after a full fifteen minutes of just staring at all fifteen women for a good minute each, they each came to a conclusion.

"Yours?" Kakashi asked.

"I'd have to go with the woman with jet black hair that's cascading all the way down to her hips, huge and perky E cup breasts, a decent ass, plump kissable lips, and seemingly weighs about 130 lbs and also seems to be 5'5."

Jiraiya had to admire the Tokubetsu Jonin's exquisite taste, after all, he himself couldn't deny the raw beauty and sexiness of the woman that said man had listed.

However, she was not the woman that he had in his mind. So he shook this off and told Kakashi

"Look at that one."

"Which one?" The Tokubetsu Jonin asked.

"That woman right there" Jiraiya said while pointing. "She looks to be about 5'6 and 120lbs, but that's not all, she also has a very nice and very firm ass, big bouncing DDs, baby blue hair that reached her mid-back, and lastly, that tattoo on her stomach, do you see it?"

Kakashi looked but couldn't, but after looking for a little more he saw it, and his jaw dropped when he saw it.

"Y-yeah, Jiraiya-Sama, I see it now" he told him.

"Do you see what it says?"

"Yup."

The two saw that what was tattooed on that woman's stomach was a large black rose with the word 'Happy' tattooed on with red ink.

"Amazing huh?" Jiraiya asked.

"Of course" Kakashi replied. "But my thought stays."

"So be it" Jiraiya replied.

The duo then decided to look at all the women one last time before noticing something g they never did before

"Wait what's that?" Kakashi asked.

"What?" Jiraiya replied.

"That" Kakashi responded while pointing at the very first woman that he talked about, the brunette with the long wavy hair, the E Cups, the tan skin, and the birth mark on her left hip.

Jiraiya turned and saw the brunette, remembered her as the first woman that Kakashi spoke of, and then looked closer at her to see what he was talking about.

Upon closer inspection, the two saw that the brunette had a Tattoo on her stomach and were knocked for six when they saw what it was.

The duo were shocked at what they saw, because the name Minato Namikaze was tattooed on that woman's stomach, and she looked to be about a year or two older than Minato would've been, if he were alive.

Seeing that really opened their eyes.

'Even in death, Minato-Kun/Minato-Sensei is still popular with the ladies' Jiraiya and Kakashi thought at the same time.

It was at that moment that they both knew that enough was enough, so Jiraiya turned to Kakashi and quietly muttered the words to him.

"Alright, now let's go" he whispered at Kakashi before both began making their way to the door, until of course, one of them stepped on a rather weak and very loud piece of wood that creaked louder than one could anticipate and notified all the women that someone was peeking on them.

"Run!" they lightly, but hastily whispered before doing as they said they would.

Thankfully, it didn't take too long before they managed to lose them and once they did, Kakashi and Jiraiya were just taking in and letting out several deep breaths, not from exhaustion though, from relief at not getting g caught.

As they were breathing hard in relief though, Kakashi thought about adjusting his mask, since it was obviously gonna be a bit out of position from how fast he was running, but as soon as he did, he grew even more worried and even terrified.

"Shit, shit, shiit" Kakashi mumbled in disbelief.

"What is it?" Jiraiya asked.

"I left my mask in there."

Jiraiya just smirked at this and then taunted him by saying

"You mean this?"

And when Kakashi turns to look, he saw his mask in the hands of the old Sage, as said Sage just began waving it back and forth.

Kakashi rolled his eyes, but walked up to old man, opened his hand, and when the old man saw this, he just handed the man his mask back.

Kakashi put that mask on quicker than he got it and once he did, he dipped out of there even faster.

Jiraiya just chuckled at this but dipped out of there too, not wanting to stay around and possibly get mauled by those women or possibly even Tsunade.

(Back With Naruto)

The boy was speeding past lots of people, buildings, and animals, so much so, that he didn't even realize it till he ended up tripping on his own legs.

"Ow" he lightly muttered as his face crashed against the hard marble ground.

He pushed himself out of that positioned and as he did, he said

"Son of a" before realizing where he dropped. "Oh, nice!"

When he tripped on his own legs and lifted himself back up, he saw that he was actually at the bridge of his destination.

"Guess I don't have to run anymore" he said before getting back up to his feet and then walking through the bridge.

As he was walking then rough the bridge, he just Pol his time and looked around as he was no longer in any need to rush.

'The bridge is beautiful' he thought while admiring the structure. 'I wonder how many people total were working on it.'

After this thought left Naruto's mind, he decided that he hated walking, and decided to run, where he was going to run though, he didn't know. So he got to thinking.

'Alright, well since I'm gonna just be here temporarily and am gonna leave right after completing my mission, I guess I should just set up camp somewhere where there are a lot of trees nearby to hide my presence' Naruto figured before taking off and long just that.

(Five Minutes Later)

Naruto arrived at a very large forest in no time and once he entered this forrest, he looked around, said

"Bingo" brought out his backpack and then started setting everything up.

It didn't take long for him to set up camp, but after he did, he brought out his Kunai, thought

'Welp, better go search for him' and got ready to start searching for the B Rank Ninja, but then another thought struck him. 'Wait a minute, in order to know what I'm looking for, I'm gonna have to memorize every last description of Haruka Jin that's in the scroll' Naruto inwardly explained to himself before taking out his scroll again, and then beginning to read through it.

He was reading everything in the scroll, from his description to where he was last seen, and more, trying his best to memorize them so that when he meets somebody with the same descriptions, he can follow them and if they really do indeed fit the bill, apprehend them.

"This is gonna take a while."

(Two Hours Later)

Naruto was now searching all over the dark night of Wave Country for Haruka Jin.

"Where is he?" He whispered to himself while looking through the surrounding area. "He's gotta be around here somewhere."

Naruto didn't know where else to look, as the last place that Haruka was spotted was at the docks, which was exactly where he was at right now.

So he just kept looking through the area, left, right, up, down, but then decided that he should probably search another part of the country.

'But where else? This was the only place he was spotted at' Naruto thought in frustration.

He was just laying down right now, as figured that he needed some time to compose himself from the stress that was overtaking him due to being unable to find the Rogue Ninja.

"Where could he be?" Naruto asked himself with gritted teeth and shut eyes before punching the air.

After punching the air though, he opened his eyes and was immediately met with the beautiful night sky and the many stars that covered it.

He didn't notice it at first, but he got lost in the beauty of the stars for about five minutes before finally being able to calm down, thanks to the beautiful stars that covered the sky.

'These stars, they're all linked together, forming numerous constellations, lighting up multiple part of the universe, and each one getting brighter than the last. Just shining and flickering as if it'll never stop shining, and just keep burning' he thought with a smile, no longer stressed out about the mission. 'That being thought though, what do I do now?'

Naruto began to ponder this again for a little bit, way less stressed than before, and after putting just a little bit more thought into it, he got an idea on where to start looking.

'Alright, it's a start" he said before getting up and beginning to walk to the place he had in mind, but right as he took his first step, he had an epiphany.

'Wait a minute' Naruto began to think as he was just now making a huge revelation. "That's it!"

As soon as he said this he bolted out of there and ran to the new place he had in his mind.

(The Bridge)

Naruto made it to the place he had in his mind.

'What's the one thing very killer, assassin, rogue ninja, and murder have in common?' Naruto inwardly asked himself as he walked closer and closer to the bridge. 'They each find a place to hide in, away from the public eye, somewhere that they can flee to after they kill someone, somewhere that nobody will ever find the, somewhere that nobody would ever think of looking.'

He was now right by the railing to the bridge and when he reached that railing, he smirked, jumped over it, brought out a Kunai, and pierced through a small part of the bottom of the bridge with it.

This in turn resulted in him dangling off the bridge by the kunai and as he was, he tossed himself further forward while applying chakra to his feet, so when his feet touched the bottom half of the bridge, he stuck to it.

When he succeeded in this, he smiled and

'Like the bottom of the bridge' before running as fast as he could to wherever this guy would be hiding.

In a very short amount of time, he reached the center, and when he did, he felt a very cold chill run down his spine, and in little time, he was met with a swarm of kunai coming from behind and stabbing him in the back as he still didn't have to strength or athleticism at that point to evade the attacks.

"Ahh!" He yelled in pain before dropping to his knees due to how much pain he was in.

"You're clever, I'll give you that" said a voice from behind.

The second Naruto heard this voice, he turned his head around to see the person responsible for his current state of condition and saw that the voice belonged to Haruka Jin.

Other than the fact that he was walking under the bridge, Naruto knew this was Haruka from the descriptions that he matched.

He looked to be 32 years old, was 6'0 Tall, about 185lbs, had green hair, blue eyes, wore a light grey pea coat, light grey sweat pants, and had rings on all ten fingers.

"Not a lot of people have figured it out, much less a twelve year old" the man commented before grabbing Naruto by his chin. "Sadly though, you're gonna meet the same fate as everyone who did."

Naruto, being as defiant as ever, spit in the guy's left eye.

"Just what I expected from a kid like you" Haruka said as he rubbed his eye off with a cocky smirk plastered all over his face.

Naruto simply growled at the man, tried looking for a way out of this predicament, but as he was, the man said

"If you're looking for a way out, then quit looking cuz you're not gonna find one."

"Huh?"

"The place is flat and wide, there's nowhere to hide or to run to that I won't be able to find and catch you" Haruka started to explain. "It's actually one of the reasons I chose it, other than people not thinking of looking under the bridge of course."

Naruto continued to growl at the B Rank Ninja, and angrily told him to

"Shut up."

However, said ninja just walked up to him, knelt down, and told him

"I knew you'd find my secret hiding spot though, being the underling of the Third Hokage and all, but what you failed to realize is that I knew you were here the moment your feet touched the bridge" Haruka told him. "It's a shame I'm gonna have to put you down though, you could've been great."

After saying this, he brought out a sword laced with poison, and struck downwards, aiming for Naruto's neck.

Right as it was about to make contact with his neck, Naruto released the chakra on his feet and let his body fall into the water underneath the bridge, successfully avoiding the hit, and finding a way out.

"Oh no? You're not getting out of this that easy!" Haruka shouted before tossing his sword away and diving into the water himself. "Like I said, there was nowhere you could go that I can't chase or find you!"

Naruto didn't have the strength to swim, so his body was just floating away as Haruka stood onto the water and then began looking for him before eventually chasing his floating body.

'Oh no, I gotta think of something quick' Naruto thought as Haruka began sprinting to him.

It didn't take long for Haruka to find the young boy's body, and upon finding his floating body, Haruka grabbed the collar of his shirt, lifted him up, brought out a kunai, told him

"Goodbye" and then stabbed him in the heart... only for him to puff away. "What?"

"Eat this!" Naruto shouted before throwing one of the kunai attached to his body at the grown man's back.

Said man kicked it away by the hilt, stared at the young boy, and then told him

"Again, very clever, and resourceful, but I'm afraid your luck is gonna run out kid, I've killed the first and second Kazekage all on my own, so what chance do you have?"

Naruto simply smirked stood up, made a sort of praying stance with his hands, and as he was, he told Haruka

"Really? From what my scroll told me, you had to heavily poison them both and then fight them when they were at the absolute least, 60 years old."

Haruka gnashed his teeth at the young man's words before yelling

"Shut up! At least I've killed a Kage, you haven't, and if anything, it just shows how dangerous I really am kid, after all, how many people can say they beat not one, but Kage by playing it smart, huh?"

"Touché" Naruto replied, still not breaking the stance he was in.

"Touché my ass, you're gonna meet your end soon kid" he spoke further.

'I just have to continue talking a little longer, so the Fox can replenish more and more of my wounds' Naruto thought as he started thinking of what he was gonna say next.

"Enjoy your last few minutes alive kid" Haruka told him while getting ready to strike. "Cuz from here on out, it's all over."

"Before we fight though, I have just one more question" Naruto started.

"What?" He angrily asked.

"Were you born in Suna, and regardless to whether you were or weren't, why did you kill the Kazekage of the village?"

Haruka simply smiled for a couple seconds before just sing out laughing and even clutching his sides at the question Naruto asked him.

'This is good, just laugh more and more, just a couple more minutes and I'll be gold, so laugh all you want, and give me as much time as possible to heal' Naruto inwardly told the Rogue Ninja.

The Rogue Ninja indeed continued laughing on and on and on till eventually, after about two minutes passed, he wiped his eyes of the tears that formed from laughing so long and hard, and then asked Naruto.

"Do you really wanna know why?"

Naruto simply nodded and Haruka replied with

"Because I could!"

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked.

"I wasn't born in Suna, but I just killed their Kazekage cuz I could. It was a choice I made because I wanted to do it, and I didn't really have any other reason to do it other than wanting to see how heavy a toll it would take on the village" Haruka explained.

"Makes sense" Naruto replied.

"Yeah, I guess it does" Haruka replied.

After Haruka said this, Naruto felt the energy and strength in his body return, almost completely, and it felt amazing.

'Perfect' Naruto thought with a smile before rushing at Haruka and kicking him upward, launching him back a long way till his head crashed into the water again.

"Ahh" Haruka said as he got back to his feet. "So that's what you were doing, fair play."

"Enough talking, let's get on with this already" Naruto told him.

"Agreed" Haruka replied before both assumed their fighting positions.

Naruto Vs Haruka

And like that, both took off and like they always do, locked hands first.

"Grgh!" Both grunted as they struggled to gain dominance.

Haruka ended the struggle by head butting Naruto as hard as he could and bringing the kid back multiple steps, and as soon as he did, he just brought out numerous Kunai Knives with paper bombs attached to them and then threw them at Naruto's Face.

The young Jonin managed to pivot his body and avoid all of the incoming Kunai, which in turn allowed the Kunai that passed him to explode a hundred meters over his left shoulder.

As soon as the Kunai exploded, Naruto ran forward, and hit Haruka directly on the stomach with a Spinning Back Kick.

The Spinning Back Kick sent Haruka flying back till his back hit the water to which he then bounced back up, via Kip Up, and then brought out a different paper tag, jumped high, and then dropped it onto the water.

Naruto saw this go down and like anyone would've done, he jumped high to avoid whatever Haruka had planned for the large body of water.

However, this was exactly what Haruka wanted, because the second Naruto jumped high, Haruka interlocked his fingers and then brought them down vertically, as hard as he could, onto the back of Naruto's body, and brought him back down to the water, which also ended up further benefiting Haruka because it allowed him to bounce higher and really avoid what he had planned.

Once Haruka was roughly fifty meters above the sky he did a backflip and landed back on the bridge. After doing this, he made a single hand sign, and then jolts upon jolts of powerful electricity started pulsing through the water.

"There you go, fry kid, fry!" He shouted like a maniac.

After about two minutes, the pulsing stopped and out came a relatively fine Naruto who decked Haruka across the jaw.

Haruka rubbed his jaw, stood back onto his feet and with alarm and confusion plastered on his face, shouted

"What the hell!? How did you?!" Only for Naruto to interrupt him.

"I thought and acted quickly by summoning hundreds upon thousands of Shadow Clones and using them as a sort of cocoon in order to protect myself from whatever you were gonna do" the young boy explained before breathing in and out heavily. "Not gonna lie though, summoning those many Shadow Clones for a whole two minutes really did a number on me."

"Good to know" Haruka replied.

Upon hearing this, Naruto turned his head to look at the large body of water below the bridge.

"I can see by the fact that the water is currently sparkling yellow, that you used a sort of Lightning Based attack."

Haruka just smirked and said

"Very observant... for a kid."

Upon hearing this, Naruto turned back to the B Rank Ninja and said

"And you're very tactical... for a B Rank."

"I fight smart, not hard, in case you haven't noticed" Haruka told Naruto.

"Oh I noticed alright" Naruto replied before bringing out a Kunai of his own. "Now are you ready to go again?"

Haruka simply chuckled a bit before bringing out another one of his swords and then saying

"I'm always ready."

And like that, both ninja rushed each other again, at top speed, swinging their blades around like their lives were in danger... Which of course, they were.

"Hyah!" Naruto shouted as he went for a horizontal swipe to Haruka's chest.

Haruka however, blocked it by stiffly holding his sword, halting the attack, and then Side Kicking Naruto back a couple feet before going for an Upward Diagonal Swipe.

Naruto managed to drop to his knees before the sword made contact and with that he threw his Kunai at Haruka.

The Kunai actually managed to puncture Haruka's right shoulder, and Naruto used the moment of Haruka screaming in pain from the stab in order to give him another Spinning Back Kick.

The kick managed to knock him to the ground and when it did, Naruto went for a stomp, only for Haruka to grab him by the foot, wrap his legs around that leg, drop him down to the ground, get back on his own feet, and then get him in a perfect Ankle Lock (Kurt Angle Style).

Naruto was able to quickly reverse this by using all the strength he could muster in his leg, to toss Haruka backwards.

It worked and Haruka let go as a result, so Naruto got back on his own two feet, with rather wobbly legs, brought out another Kunai, and went for a downward stab.

Haruka managed to pivot his body and avoid the incoming strike and as soon as he did, kicked the Kunai off Naruto's hands, made really fast hand signs, and called out

"Doton: Doryuudan no Jutsu!" Before a huge dragon made of earth shot out his hands and made its way to Naruto.

Naruto made similar hand signs, slammed his hands together, and called out

"Fuuton: Furyuu no Jutsu!" Before an equally as large dragon made of wind came out and made its way to Haruka.

The dragons clashed but after a couple seconds passed, Haruka prevailed, and Naruto ended up taking the full blunt force of the blast.

"Ahh!" He shouted as the earth dragon crashed into him and knocked him thirty meters back.

Soon enough, Naruto's back hurts the ground and when it did, Haruka started slowly walking up to him, with a very cocky smile.

"You're the prodigy of The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi" he started. "Your name, is Naruto Uzumaki."

"Y-yeah, what's it to you?" He groaned out.

"That last name, Uzumaki, means that you're from the Uzumaki Clan and must have large amounts of chakra because of it. Not only that, but I also know that you're the Jinchuriki of the Nina Tails too, which means you should have even more chakra."

Naruto widened his eyes at this.

"H-how do you?"

"I have an IQ of 185, know about the attack, and judging by how old you look, can guess that your birthday was around the same time as the Nine Tails attack."

'185?' Naruto thought in confusion. 'Shikamaru is smarter than this guy?'

"Enough of that though kid, bottom line is that I know you should have large amounts of chakra but for some obvious reason, you don't."

Naruto who had enough of listening to this guy, started getting back up on his own two feet, and upon doing so, he ran in with a cocked fist toward the man.

Haruka however, just sighed, parried Naruto's punch, and then landed a Jump Spinning Hook Kick right on Naruto's jaw.

The kick sent Naruto back down to the ground and when it did, Haruka continued on.

"Anyways, as I was saying before you so rudely interrupted me, judging by your performance today, I'd say you had just recently taken a severe beating from a mission. Some mission in which you had to use all the chakra you had, as well as all the strength you had, and of course, all the Jutsu you had."

Naruto tried getting back up but his ankle kept giving out on his weight before he even managed to stand firmly on the ground.

Haruka saw this and commented

"I guess when you were healing yourself, you only healed your injuries a slight bit, not completely, and also either forgot about your chakra, or you didn't have enough time try and replenish your chakra."

'Damn it, he's not wrong' Naruto thought gnashed teeth. 'I did forget to replenish my chakra because O foolishly thought that all I'd need is to heal my wounds in order to beat this guy. I'd better do something fast.'

After this thought left Naruto's mind though, Haruka walked up to his downed body, and kicked him as hard as he could till his body started rolling through the bridge.

"That's a mistake that you're sadly not gonna live to regret."

Haruka then stomped his foot onto Naruto's chest as hard as possible, which both succeeded in cracking numerous of Naruto's chest bones and made him viciously cough out blood, temporarily kept him from breathing at all.

"Aww, what's the matter squirt?" Haruka taunted as he leaned closer and closer to Naruto's face, as blood was seeping out of the corners of his mouth. "You having trouble breathing?"

Naruto realized that right now, he was in absolutely zero condition to fight, especially with a guy as tactical and strong as this, but he saw an opening to deal a lot of damage, and took it.

He reached out, opened his mouth, and as quickly as he opens it, he crunched on that man's nose.

"Ahh!" Haruka yelled as he felt numerous small tiny bones cracking from Naruto's teeth.

Haruka simply punched Naruto as hard as he could in the chin and separated the two.

This worked in separating the two and left Naruto with a bruise on his chin, but it didn't come without a price.

Haruka's nose was now bleeding profusely because of how hard Naruto bit it.

Haruka's nose was letting out blood like a geyser, so much so that he couldn't breathe without almost suffocating because of how much blood was leaving his nose.

"Damn it, you have sharp teeth, you little shit" he angrily mumbled while clutching his nose.

Naruto who was still on the ground, didn't have the strength to get back up yet, so he started thinking of what he could do next instead.

'He's gonna have to breathe through his mouth now, but from the way I see it, he's gonna always have one hand on it till it stops bleeding, so I gotta think of something to do fast.'

Naruto then tried thinking of everything that he had on him and after remembering it all, he reached into his left pant's pocket, brought out a small Senbon, tossed to his mouth, caught it with his teeth, and after a very hard turn of his head, tossed it at Haruka.

The Senbon pierced right through Haruka's left eye, which brought him even further to the ground crying out in pain.

"You bastard!" He yelled out in agony, as the Senbon took away his ability to see at all in his left eye.

Naruto simply chuckled at this and then took it as the perfect opportunity to get back up.

So he got on knees, placed both his fists on the ground, and then started pushing himself back up to his feet.

When he finally stood on his feet, he looked Haruka in the eyes, and yelled

"Haruka!"

Haruka turned to the sound and with only one eye open, both saw and heard the young Jonin yell

"Let's finish this, now!"

And with a simply grin, Haruka loudly replied to that with

"You're on!"

And like that the two ran at each other for the final time.

Instead of locking hands this time though, they each went for a hit.

Haruka started it off with a Low Kick, Naruto went for a High Kick, and both Kicks connected.

Naruto's Kick hit Haruka right in the jaw, whilst Haruka's Kick hit Naruto right on the back of the knee, causing him to fall down to the ground.

As soon as Naruto's back hit the ground, Haruka went for another Stomp to Naruto's chest.

However, this time Naruto managed to avoid it by tucking his legs in, and then Kipping Up, successfully getting him back on his feet, while also succeeding in Double Kicking Haruka's Face.

Haruka was sent back after the Kip Up, but then went for a Spinning Elbow to the back of the Naruto's head.

Naruto was able to catch the elbow without turning around, before it made contact, and once he did, he went for an Elbow of his own, but this one was aimed for Haruka's wide open stomach.

The Elbow landed, Haruka started stumbling back in pain while clutching his stomach, and then Naruto went for a Left Hook to the face.

This one didn't connect though, as Haruka managed to just narrowly avoided the Punch in time, and because it didn't make contact, Haruka went for an attack of his own.

Haruka went for a Punch, but Naruto stopped him and countered it with a Side Kick (Johnny Cage Style), which knocked him back a few feet, but wasn't enough to knock him to the ground.

Haruka managed to keep himself from falling, and when he found his footing again, he ran at Naruto and delivered a big Right Hook to the young blonde's skull.

The young blonde, like the Rogue Ninja, was rocked quite a bit, but it still wasn't enough to make him drop.

The two fighters were still on their feet and after looking each other in the eyes, they realized that the one who's back hit the ground this time, wouldn't get back up.

So without any words spoken, they both let out an onslaught of attacks on each other.

Naruto went for a Spinning Jump Kick, but Haruka dodged it and went for a Straight Punch, which Naruto parried and went for Straight Punch of his own.

The Rogue Ninja reacted the same way and parried the Punch before going for a Knee, which was about to be countered with a Front Kick, until the Rogue Ninja brought his own leg up and blocked it with his shin.

After successfully blocking the Front Kick, the Rogue Ninja went for a Left Hook, but Naruto caught it, held onto the fist tightly, and then went for a Punch of his own.

The Punch that Naruto went for however, was dealt with by the Rogue Ninja, the same way Naruto dealt with his, he caught it and held on tightly.

The two were now caught in a tangle and as such, both only had one move left.

Crack*

The sounds of their skulls cracking against each other was heard as they Headbutted each other as hard as they could, but when they saw that that wasn't enough, they did it again, and again, and again, until finally, both their foreheads were drenched in each other's blood.

'This kid/man just isn't giving up' both Haruka and Naruto thought together, keeping up with their skull crashing.

After crashing foreheads for the fiftieth time, both just didn't have it in them to Headbutt anymore, so they pulled their heads back, broke their entanglement, and then started just swapping hands, very sloppily though.

Right Hook from Naruto, Parried by Haruka who then went for a Straight Punch, only for it to be Parried by Naruto, who went for the same move again.

It essentially went on like this for the next few minutes, both would throw a very sloppy, very slow, and very easy to avoid Punch, which was reacted to and dealt with by the other.

They were both simply too exhausted to really do anything at the moment.

Neither had the chakra to use any Jutsu, neither had the strength or stamina left to use any really lethal Taijutsu moves, and as a result, both were stuck using simple Punches, but even then, neither were capable of hurting the other.

'Damn it, I can feel my heart' Naruto started to think while still throwing Punches. 'It's beating uncontrollably.'

'I can't slow down, no matter how hard my heart's beating, because if I do I'll get hit, and if I do, it's over' Haruka thought as he too went for numerous punches toward the boy, all to no success of course. 'Not just that though, my lungs, they're feeling extremely tight and it's making it hard to breathe.'

No matter how uncomfortable or even in pain both were in, they kept throwing hands over and over again, desperate to get that one clean hit against each other.

The blood from their foreheads were cascading all the way down their bodies, their hands were already badly bruised and were starting to bleed from how many times they Punched, Blocked, and Parried each other's blows, and of course, their hearts were both oh so close to stopping.

Neither one of them would relent though, and so they continued trying to hit the other for an even longer period of time.

'Come on, just stop moving and stay still' both thought simultaneously as they continued throwing and reacting to each other's Punches.

Straight Right from Naruto, Dodged by Haruka who then went for a Straight Left, only for Naruto to move to the side to avoid it.

Another Right Hook from Haruka, Parried and then responded to by a Left Hook from Naruto, which Haruka blocked with his right arm.

The sudden Block gave Naruto a plan that flashed before his eyes.

As soon as Naruto's fist hit the right forearm of Haruka, he opened his hand, grabbed onto the man's wrist, and with every last ounce of strength he had, picked him up and then slammed him down to the ground.

"Toh!" Haruka shouted in pain as his back hit the ground and he spat blood out of his mouth.

Naruto then dropped onto the ground on his knees, gasping for air, and as he was, he turned to look at the downed man and with a sadistic grin, said

"It's over."

Haruka, being the smart man he is, told him

"I know."

There was nothing else for him to do anymore.

He wasn't strong enough to get back up anymore.

He already lost way too much blood and too many of his bones were broken to even try getting up anymore.

So now, he looked at the boy and told him

"Go ahead, I don't care anymore."

Naruto, as tired as he was, wasn't going to pass up this chance.

So he got back up to his feet, started looking for something that one of them used, and stumbled across one of his Kunai.

So he walked up to it, picked it up, walked back over to Haruka, knelt before him, and with his Kunai firmly held onto his hands, he thrusted it through the man's forehead.

As soon as the Kunai pierced the man's forehead, Naruto fell over, and knocked out, too tired to move anymore.

As he was fading though, he thought one thing

'Mission, complete' and then fell asleep.
